Description

Water-based adhesive and preparation method and application thereof
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of adhesives, in particular to a water-based adhesive and a preparation method and application thereof.
Background
As materials, processes and materials for furniture manufacturing are continuously updated and developed, MDF medium density boards, Particle Boards (PB) and plywood are increasingly used in furniture manufacturing. These panels require edge sealing during use, traditionally using edge sealing strips of polymeric materials such as PVC film, but lack the natural return feel. As people pursue natural style, medium and high-grade furniture with veneering veneers on artificial boards appears. The furniture uses artificial boards, has low manufacturing cost, and can give people a natural style similar to all solid wood. Meanwhile, the edges of the board need to be sealed by natural wood as the front surface of the board. At present, in order to save wood and reduce cost, the edges of the plate are made of veneers, the edge sealing veneers are thin and are generally about 0.15-0.6mm, and the edge sealing veneers are easy to break and crack and are seriously wasted in the processes of storage, transportation and use. In order to solve the problem, a process for compounding a layer of non-woven fabric on the back of the veneer is provided, and the veneer is fixed by the non-woven fabric, so that the veneer is not easy to break and crack, is easy to roll, and is convenient to transport, store and use.
At present, the traditional white latex is used for compounding non-woven fabrics and veneers in the market, so that a plurality of defects and problems exist, and the problem is urgently needed to be solved. The invention mainly aims at the problems of production, compounding, storage, transportation and use of non-woven fabric veneers, and provides a special water-based adhesive which is high temperature resistant, water resistant, non-permeable and soft in adhesive layer.

In a preferred embodiment, the vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer emulsion has a pH of 4.5 to 6.5.
In the present invention, the source of the vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer emulsion is not particularly limited, and there may be mentioned at least one of taiwan Dalian chemical DA-101, DA-102, DA-143; DA-102 is preferred.
Styrene-butadiene latex
The styrene-butadiene latex is prepared by emulsion copolymerization of butadiene and styrene. Different grades are available according to the ratio of styrene to butadiene. The emulsion has the components of high-temperature (50 ℃) styrene-butadiene latex and low-temperature (5 ℃) styrene-butadiene latex according to different copolymerization temperatures of the emulsions, and the latter has better performance than the former, high strength and good cold resistance. The styrene-butadiene latex adhesive has better heat resistance and aging resistance than the natural latex adhesive, and is not sticky, softened and hardened even after aging. The styrene-butadiene latex adhesive has extremely low macromolecular chain property, so the adhesive strength is poor, but the price is low, and the styrene-butadiene latex adhesive is mainly used for paper processing, can be used as an adhesive for plastics, rubber, fabrics, tire cords, asbestos sealing gaskets and building materials, and can also be used for preparing pressure-sensitive adhesives. In order to improve the adhesion of the styrene-butadiene rubber daily adhesive, rosin, coumarone resin, polybasic acid ester and the like can be added, so that the adhesion can be obviously improved.
In the invention, the styrene-butadiene latex is carboxylic styrene-butadiene latex.
In a preferred embodiment, the kinetic viscosity of the styrene-butadiene latex is 50 to 500cP at 25 ℃.

in a more preferred embodiment, the weight ratio of the vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer emulsion to the styrene-butadiene latex is 8: 1.
the inventor unexpectedly finds that when the weight ratio of the vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer emulsion to the styrene-butadiene latex is (5-15): 1, particularly when the weight ratio of the vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer emulsion to the styrene-butadiene latex is 8: 1, the prepared water-based adhesive layer has the best permeability resistance and temperature resistance. The inventors consider that possible reasons are: the similarity of molecular structures of the vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer emulsion and the styrene-butadiene latex is compounded into a high-efficiency stable polymer emulsion, the molecules are interwoven to form a three-dimensional network structure, the emulsion breaking is not easy to occur in the coating process, the adhesive is not leaked after the film forming, and the temperature resistance is excellent; the polymer emulsion molecular structure is rich in polar group-carboxyl, has higher film forming property and binding power, and can generate a strong and tough adhesive film; meanwhile, the styrene-butadiene latex can adjust the viscosity of the glue solution, improve the fluidity of the glue solution and form a bright and smooth film; in addition, because the molecular chain also contains polar groups, such as ester groups, the bonding property with the non-woven fabric fiber is good, and the high bonding property is realized.

The plasticizer is an important chemical product additive, is generally applied to materials such as plastic products, concrete, mud ash, cement, gypsum, cosmetics, cleaning agents and the like as an auxiliary agent, particularly polyvinyl chloride plastic products, and is required to be added with phthalate in order to increase the plasticity of the plastic and improve the strength of the plastic, wherein the content of the phthalate can sometimes reach 50 percent of the product. The plasticizer mainly has the effects of weakening the secondary valence bonds among resin molecules, increasing the mobility of the molecular bonds of the resin, reducing the crystallinity of the resin molecules, increasing the plasticity of the resin molecules, enhancing the flexibility of the resin molecules, being easy to process, being legally applicable to industrial application, and being widely existed in food packaging, cosmetics, medical devices and environmental water.

The inventors consider that possible reasons are: in the using process of the water-based adhesive, isocyanate and hydroxyl are crosslinked to form firm chemical bonds such as urethane bond, urea bond and the like; and simultaneously, carboxyl in the water-based adhesive can react with isocyanate groups to form a water-insoluble reticular cross-linked structure, so that the isocyanate and the water-based adhesive generate a synergistic effect, and the strength, the temperature resistance and the water resistance of the water-based adhesive are effectively improved. In the invention, isocyanate is used as a curing agent to be matched with water-based adhesive. The water-based adhesive and the curing agent are mixed on site and are uniformly stirred according to the proportion for use. After the glue is mixed with the curing agent, the glue must be used within 2 hours, otherwise the glue is ineffective. The water-based adhesive of the invention can be used alone without a reinforcing agent, but the heat resistance and the strength are obviously reduced.
The present invention will be specifically described below by way of examples. It should be noted that the following examples are only for illustrating the present invention and should not be construed as limiting the scope of the present invention, and that the insubstantial modifications and adaptations of the present invention by those skilled in the art based on the above disclosure are still within the scope of the present invention.
In addition, the starting materials used are all commercially available, unless otherwise specified.
