技术领域
本发明总体上涉及脊柱植入物和假体，并且具体地涉及用于部署脊柱植入物的递送系统，该脊柱植入物具有柔性、枢转或折叠特性。
背景技术
在一个个体和另一个体之间存在许多解剖学几何改变。关节形状可以在个体之间变化，甚至在同一个体的关节之间变化。因此，设计成插入某一关节空间的装置应包括使几何形状适应特定关节的装置。例如，装置可以具有直的形状，并且当装置被强制进入关节空间时，装置必须根据弧形关节空间弯曲。
然而，将装置插入关节空间可能需要施加冲击以使装置进入关节空间。施加冲击可导致装置在装置恰当地进入关节空间之前弯曲。这可能导致手术失败，因为装置的弯曲阻止了其进入，或者装置可能在该装置进入体腔时聚拢或弯曲变形而破裂。
发明内容
本发明试图提供一种用于引导和保护植入物的装置和方法，该植入物在其递送到受限的身体空腔或体腔中期间可弯曲、具有柔性或可枢转。
在一个非限制性实施方式中，递送装置包括引导工具，以导向和引导植入物从工具的远端离开并进入体腔开口中。引导工具可以包括具有内部几何形状的套筒，该套筒被精确地设计成容纳植入物，在套筒和植入物之间具有最小间隙。套筒的几何形状允许植入物从引导工具的近端移动到远端。围绕植入物的紧密公差消除了贯穿整个运动的破裂或扭结的风险。当植入物开始从套筒离开并进入体腔时，植入物从套筒的约束释放并能够根据需要调节到解剖处。
递送装置还可包括冲击工具，用于在植入物上施加外部冲击以帮助植入物进入体腔。
非限制性地，该递送装置具有以下特征：
1.将植入物引导到体腔中的能力。
2.将植入物从使用者可接近的点导向和引导到体腔开口中的能力。
3.贯穿整个引导保护植入物免受扭结和破裂，直到植入物被限制在身体空腔中的能力。
4.维持身体空腔的分离并抵抗其塌陷以便辅助插入过程的能力。
5.对植入物施加冲击以迫使植入物插入到空腔中的能力。
因此，根据本发明的实施方式提供了一种包括引导工具和冲击工具的递送装置，该引导工具包括形成有纵向引导通道的细长主体，该纵向引导通道的内周被制成与植入物的外轮廓互补，该细长主体形成有纵向冲击工具通道，该纵向冲击工具通道的内周被制成与冲击工具的外轮廓互补。
根据本发明的实施方式，引导通道和冲击工具通道在细长主体的中心部分处彼此重叠。
根据本发明的实施方式，引导工具的远端形成有多个分离构件，该多个分离构件从引导工具的远端向远侧突出。
根据本发明的实施方式，引导舌从引导工具的远端向远侧突出。
根据本发明的实施方式，冲击工具包括从轴的近端延伸的近侧的手柄，该手柄能够接收锤击以将植入物驱动到体腔中。

具体实施方式

Claims (5)

1.一种递送装置，所述递送装置包括：
引导工具和冲击工具，所述引导工具包括形成有纵向引导通道的细长主体，所述纵向引导通道的内周被制成与植入物的外轮廓互补，所述细长主体形成有纵向冲击工具通道，所述纵向冲击工具通道的内周被制成与所述冲击工具的外轮廓互补，其中，所述引导通道和所述冲击工具通道在所述细长主体的中心部分处彼此重叠。
2.根据权利要求1所述的递送装置，其中，所述引导工具的远端形成有多个分离构件，所述分离构件是从所述引导工具的所述远端向远侧突出的锋利的唇部。
3.根据权利要求2所述的递送装置，其中，引导舌从所述引导工具的所述远端向远侧突出。
4.根据权利要求3所述的递送装置，其中，所述引导舌在所述锋利的唇部之间。
5.根据权利要求1所述的递送装置，其中，所述冲击工具包括从轴的近端延伸的近侧的手柄，所述手柄能够接收锤击以将植入物驱动到体腔中。
