Abstract

Technical Field

Background
With the continuous development of display technology, display screens have been widely applied to people's lives, wherein Organic electroluminescent devices (Organic L light-Emitting diodes, O L ED) have the advantages of self-luminescence, fast response, wide viewing angle, high brightness, bright color, lightness and thinness, etc., and play an important role in the market, because each pixel point in the O L ED display is used for luminescence, but the luminescence time of different pixel points is different, the brightness decay rate of each pixel point is also different, when the display is in a static display picture for a long time and the brightness of the static display picture is very high, if a user switches to another display picture, a shadow, namely a residual shadow, with higher partial brightness before switching the display picture may occur on the display device, resulting in a screen burn-out phenomenon.
Therefore, the technical problem to be solved by the skilled person is how to solve the problem of screen burning to improve the display effect.

An embodiment of the present invention provides a method for adjusting brightness of a display device, as shown in fig. 1, the method may include:

The news simulcast starts to be played at the 7-point CCTV-1, so the time when the display picture of the first frame of news simulcast is acquired can be defined as a first time, and from this time, when the display picture of one frame of news simulcast is received, the content required to be displayed by each sub-area needs to be determined.
Taking one of the sub-regions displaying the first display content as an example, the sub-region may be marked as a sub-region w, when it is determined that the sub-region w displays the first display content in the currently received display picture, a counter +1 corresponding to the internally preset sub-region w is controlled, and then, whether the value of the current counter is not less than 10 is determined;
if not, the sub-region w does not meet the brightness processing condition, the display picture of the news simulcast is continuously received, and the numerical value of the counter is updated and the judgment is continuously carried out;
if yes, it indicates that the sub-region w has satisfied the brightness processing condition, and at this time, the subsequent brightness adjustment process may be performed on the sub-region w.
In this way, only the display brightness of the sub-area having the first display content in the continuous multi-frame display picture is adjusted, but the brightness of the sub-area not meeting the brightness processing condition is not adjusted, so that unnecessary operation can be reduced, the calculation amount of the processor is reduced, the power consumption of the processor is reduced, and the function of preventing screen burn-in can be realized.
Specifically, in the embodiment of the present invention, a method for determining a sub-area having first display content in each of the acquired consecutive N frames of display images may specifically be:
calculating the similarity between the pictures in any two continuous frames in the continuous N frames of display pictures required to be displayed by each sub-region to obtain N-1 similarity results corresponding to each sub-region;
accumulating the N-1 similarity results corresponding to each sub-region to obtain a reference result corresponding to each sub-region;
and determining the sub-area with the reference result larger than the second preset value as the sub-area with the first display content in the acquired continuous N frames of display images.
For example, taking three consecutive frames of display pictures, which are divided into two sub-regions, where the two sub-regions can be respectively labeled as sub-region a and sub-region B, then:

calculating the similarity between the picture in the first frame to be displayed and the picture in the second frame to be displayed, and recording the calculation result as the similarity A1;
calculating the similarity between the picture in the second frame to be displayed and the picture in the third frame to be displayed, and recording the calculation result as the similarity A2;
accumulating the similarity A1 and the similarity A2 to obtain a reference result, and marking as Ac;
and if the Ac is larger than the second preset value, determining that the sub-area A can display the first display content in the continuous three-frame display picture.
For sub-region B:
calculating the similarity between the picture in the first frame to be displayed and the picture in the second frame to be displayed, and recording the calculation result as the similarity B1;
calculating the similarity between the picture in the second frame to be displayed and the picture in the third frame to be displayed, and recording the calculation result as the similarity B2;
accumulating the similarity B1 and the similarity B2 to obtain a reference result which is marked as Bc;
and if the Bc is smaller than the second preset value, determining that the sub-region B does not display the first display content in the three continuous frame display pictures.
When calculating the similarity, the calculation may be performed according to a local feature algorithm, or may be performed according to other algorithms, as long as the similarity can be calculated, and the specific calculation method is not limited herein.
It should be noted that the setting of the second preset value is not specifically limited, and the setting may be performed according to the actual requirements of the user, so as to improve the flexibility of the design.
Therefore, the sub-area with the first display content can be determined through a simple method, so that the brightness of a sub-area display picture with the first display content can be adjusted subsequently, the problem of screen burning caused by the fact that the display equipment displays the first display content for a long time is solved, and the display effect of the display equipment is improved.
In specific implementation, in the embodiment of the present invention, adjusting the brightness of the sub-area display screen that meets the preset brightness processing condition specifically includes:

For example, referring to fig. 2, when OCN ORIGINA L displayed in the upper left corner of the display device is determined as the first display content, only the brightness of the sub-region where OCN ORIGINA L is located is reduced, and no adjustment is required for the brightness at other positions, as shown from the left diagram to the right diagram, where the left diagram is the case before the brightness adjustment for the sub-region where OCN ORIGINA L is located, and the right diagram is the case after the brightness adjustment for the sub-region where OCN ORIGINA L is located.
Therefore, the problem of screen burning when the display equipment displays the first display content for a long time can be solved by adjusting the brightness of the display picture of the sub area with the first display content, so that the display effect of the display equipment is improved, and the user experience is improved.
Alternatively, if the luminance of the sub-region having the first display content is to be reduced, the luminance of the display frame is determined by the gray scale of the pixel in the display region, and when the pixel includes the red sub-pixel R, the green sub-pixel G, and the blue sub-pixel B, the luminance can be adjusted by adjusting the gray scale of the red sub-pixel R, the green sub-pixel G, and the blue sub-pixel B in the corresponding sub-region.
Specifically, the adjustment degree of the brightness of the display screen having the sub-area of the first display content may be adjusted according to actual conditions, and is not limited herein. calculating the similarity between the pictures in any two continuous frames in the continuous N frames of display pictures required to be displayed by each sub-region to obtain N-1 similarity results corresponding to each sub-region;
accumulating the N-1 similarity results corresponding to each sub-region to obtain a reference result corresponding to each sub-region;
and determining the sub-area with the reference result larger than a second preset value as the sub-area with the first display content in the acquired continuous N frames of display images.
4. The method according to claim 1, wherein adjusting the brightness of the sub-area display frame satisfying a preset brightness processing condition includes:
and reducing the brightness of the sub-area display picture meeting the preset brightness processing condition.
5. The method of claim 1, wherein after determining the pictures in the current frame that need to be displayed by the plurality of sub-regions and before adjusting the brightness of the sub-region display pictures meeting the preset brightness processing condition, further comprising: marking the sub-regions meeting preset brightness processing conditions according to a preset algorithm;
adjusting the brightness of the sub-area display picture meeting the preset brightness processing condition specifically comprises: and adjusting the brightness of the display picture of the marked sub-area.
6. A display device, comprising:
a memory for storing program instructions;
a processor for calling the program instructions stored in the memory, and executing according to the obtained program:
acquiring a display picture of a current frame;
determining pictures in the current frame which need to be displayed by a plurality of sub-regions; wherein the plurality of sub-regions are: dividing a display area in the display equipment in advance to obtain the display area;
and adjusting the brightness of the sub-area display picture meeting the preset brightness processing condition.
7. The display device according to claim 6, wherein the luminance processing condition is:

accumulating the N-1 similarity results corresponding to each sub-region to obtain a reference result corresponding to each sub-region;
and determining the sub-area with the reference result larger than a second preset value as the sub-area with the first display content in the acquired continuous N frames of display images.
10. The display device of claim 6, wherein the processor is specifically configured to:
and reducing the brightness of the sub-area display picture meeting the preset brightness processing condition.
11. The display device of claim 6, wherein the processor is further to:
marking the sub-regions meeting preset brightness processing conditions according to a preset algorithm after determining the pictures in the current frame needing to be displayed by the plurality of sub-regions and before adjusting the brightness of the sub-region display pictures meeting the preset brightness processing conditions;
the processor is specifically configured to: and adjusting the brightness of the display picture of the marked sub-area.
12. A computer-readable nonvolatile storage medium storing computer-executable instructions for causing a computer to perform the method of adjusting luminance of a display device according to any one of claims 1 to 5.
