FIG. 1 shows a schematic diagram of an interaction system 100 for a store according to one embodiment of the invention. As shown, the store interaction system 100 includes: server 101, cash register end device 102, clerk 103, ordering device 104, and customer 105. The ordering device 104 has physical buttons or a graphical user interface thereon, which can be operated by the clerk 103 or by the customer 105 to select the product designated by the customer 105. Or alternatively, customer 105 may use an APP or applet installed on their own electronic device (e.g., cell phone, PDA, etc.) to select a designated item. The cash register side device 102 includes, for example, a computer and a scanning device for performing a settlement, checkout operation after the customer 105 has completed a purchase. The server 101 is, for example, a server in the store background, and can record commodity information of the store and a transaction that has occurred in the store. The server 101 may be a server for a single store, or may be a server shared among a plurality of stores.
Those skilled in the art will readily appreciate that the interactive system 100 shown in fig. 1 is a relatively complete topology, which is introduced for convenience of describing the checkout method of the present invention and is not intended to limit the scope of the present invention.
FIG. 2 shows a flow diagram of a checkout method 200 according to one embodiment of the invention. The checkout method 200 may be used to checkout one or more items of merchandise in a store. The checkout method will be described in detail with reference to fig. 1 and 2. As shown, the steps of the checkout method 200 include:
in step S201: a selection input of one or more items is received.
The commodity is preferably a commodity without a settlement code, such as a Kanto boil, a staple food, a hot meal, and the like. In the present invention, the settlement code is, for example, a barcode or a two-dimensional code used for settlement, and information such as the price of the commodity can be known by scanning the settlement code. The present invention is not limited thereto and may be used for settlement with a settlement code. The goods may be selected through interaction with a ordering device and/or interaction with a user device. The ordering device or the user device may be an interactive device with physical keys, or an interactive device with a touch screen, and has a graphical user interface with virtual controls thereon. The following description will be made by taking an example of selecting food items through the interactive operation of the ordering apparatus 104 shown in fig. 1. As shown in fig. 1, a customer 105 selects food and meal at the front of a corresponding counter, and a clerk 103 selects a corresponding item and quantity of goods on a ordering apparatus 104 according to the customer's selection. FIG. 3 shows a schematic diagram of a touch screen ordering operational interface according to one embodiment of the invention.
Additionally or alternatively, the customer 105 may also use the ordering device 104 to make selections of items, or may use the customer's own cell phone or other electronic product to make selections of items within the store's APP or applet. The basic process is as described above and will not be described here.
When selecting the goods, besides the selection through the physical key or the graphical user interface, the goods can be selected through a voice recognition mode, namely, a voice signal is generated through dictating information such as the name, the quantity and the like of the goods, and the voice signal can be input according to the selected goods after being recognized, so that the ordering is executed. Preferably, the clerk 103 wears a head-mounted microphone and issues an order command [ start ordering ], or enters a voice ordering mode by clicking a microphone button of the touch screen, and performs voice ordering according to the requirement of the customer 105, for example, the ordering language is: number of items (several) + name of item or abbreviation. The equipment for selecting the commodity in the voice recognition mode comprises the following steps: a head-mounted microphone or a talking earphone for voice ordering; and the voice processing device is used for analyzing the voice signals and acquiring the commodity information and the quantity information in the voice signals, and the acquired commodity information and quantity are sent to the ordering device 104 so as to select commodities. The device used for selecting the goods by means of speech recognition may also be integrated in the ordering device 104. The voice-recognized commodity information and quantity may be displayed on the screen of the ordering apparatus 104 for confirmation by the clerk 103 or the user 105. When the voice recognition fails, a corresponding prompt is presented on the ordering device 104 for re-recognition or manual addition of the dish that was not successfully recognized until all dishes are correctly recognized.
In addition, the commodities can be selected by means of image acquisition and image analysis, for example, image signals of the commodities can be acquired, and the commodities and the quantity thereof can be obtained by means of image recognition according to the image signals. For example, for some commodities such as staple foods (e.g., rice, steamed bread, steamed stuffed bun, corn, sweet potato, etc.), and hot dishes (e.g., fried dish, fried shashlik, roasted ham sausage, etc.), the identification can be accurately and quickly performed by means of image acquisition and analysis, and the type (and optional quantity) of the commodity selected by the customer can be obtained. To perform image acquisition and analysis, the ordering apparatus 104 may include a camera and an image analysis unit. For example, in a store, the clerk 103 takes a selected dish according to the needs of the customer and places the dish in the meal box, places the meal box under the camera and stands for a few seconds, the dish faces upward and is opposite to the camera, the camera acquires images of the dish, and the image analysis unit in the background divides and identifies the images, for example, identifies which kinds of food are contained in the meal box. In this embodiment, a conventional camera may be used for image acquisition, and the image analysis unit may be implemented by integrating an existing image recognition algorithm into the ordering device 104, for example, different dishes have different preset characteristics, and by means of characteristic matching, it is determined what type of dishes are included in the meal box. When image recognition is complete, the recognized information may be presented on the screen of the ordering device 104 for confirmation by the clerk 103 or the user 105. When the image recognition fails, a corresponding prompt is presented on the ordering device 104 for re-recognition or manual addition of the dish that was not successfully recognized until all dishes are correctly recognized.
The above description is given by taking an example that the commodity does not have the settlement code, and it is easily understood by those skilled in the art that the present invention is not limited thereto, and the settlement method of the present invention is also applicable to the settlement operation of the commodity having the settlement code.
In step S202: and acquiring commodity information of the one or more commodities. The commodity information includes, but is not limited to, one or more of a name (full or short), a number, a price (unit price or total price), a lot, a quantity, discount information of the commodity.
In addition, as those skilled in the art will readily understand, the order of step S201 and step S202 is not intended to limit the scope of the present invention, and the two steps may be performed sequentially or synchronously. For example, in the process of receiving the commodity selection input in step S201, some commodity information, such as the name, number, quantity, and the like of the commodity, may be synchronously acquired. For the rest of the commodity information, the ordering device 104 may query the database of the server 101 (or the database of the ordering device 104) by using the name or number of the commodity as a key to obtain the commodity information.
In step S203: and forming an order corresponding to the one or more commodities, wherein the order is provided with an order number.
When customer 105 chooses to complete, ordering device 104 forms an order and generates an order number for the order. The order covers a collection of items selected by customer 105. The order number is preferably unique and uniquely characterizes the order. Additionally, in addition to the order number being generated by the ordering device 104, the order number may also be generated by the server 101 and assigned to the ordering device 104 to ensure that the order number is unique to the store.
Additionally or alternatively, the customer 105 may also use the ordering device 104 to make a selection of an item, or may use the customer's own user device (e.g., a cell phone or other electronic product) to make a selection of an item within an APP or applet at a store, and after the selection is completed, the APP or applet generates an order with a unique order number. The basic process is as described above and will not be described here.
In step S204: and generating an aggregate code, wherein the order number and/or the commodity information are coded in the aggregate code. After the customer has selected the commodity and has obtained the commodity information, a set code may be generated, which may be in the form of a barcode or a two-dimensional code, wherein the order number or the commodity information may be encoded, or the order number and the commodity information may be encoded at the same time. As shown in FIG. 3, after the order is ordered on the ordering device 104, the "print invoice" button may be clicked, and the assembly code may then be printed out by a printer in communication with the ordering device 104. Additionally or alternatively, the aggregate code may be displayed on a user device (e.g., a cell phone) for use by the customer in a final checkout.
The checkout method 200 according to one embodiment of the present invention is described above. Through the checkout method 200, the user can integrate the billing information of one or more goods into one aggregate code, which is very advantageous for the settlement of some codeless goods without a settlement code. For example, in a delicatessen area, a customer requests a clerk to select a plurality of dishes, such as kanto-do, staple food, stir-frying and the like, the clerk inputs the selection of the customer through the ordering device 104 while taking the dishes for the customer, after the customer finishes ordering, the clerk generates and prints out an aggregate code through the ordering device 104, and hands the aggregate code to the customer, and then at a cashier of a store, the cashier device 102 can acquire information of the plurality of dishes selected by the customer at one time through the aggregate code without acquiring information of each dish, so that a large amount of time can be saved, and the efficiency of the store and the experience of the customer are greatly improved.
According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the order number is encoded in the aggregate code, or more preferably, the order number is encoded in the aggregate code without encoding the commodity information. In this case, the checkout method includes:
step S205: and sending the order number and the commodity information to the server 101. After receiving the commodity selection and acquiring the commodity information, the ordering device 104 or the user device may send the order number and the commodity information to the server 101, and may query all the commodity information of the order through each order number, where the order number and the commodity information are stored in the server 101 for order query and retrieval.
Step S206: the cashier device 102 scans the aggregate code and decodes the aggregate code to obtain the order number. The checkout side device 102, which may include, for example, a scanning gun or scanner, may scan and decode the aggregate code to obtain the order number therein.
Step S207: the cash register end device 102 retrieves and receives the commodity information of the order from the server 101 according to the order number. Further, the merchandise information is displayed on the screen of the cash register end device 102 for checking or modification by the clerk 103 and/or the customer 105.
According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, when the aggregate code is encoded with the order number, the checkout method further comprises:
the order counting equipment or the user equipment sends the order number and the commodity information to the cash register end equipment;
the cashier end equipment scans the collecting codes and decodes the collecting codes to obtain the order number; and
and the cashier end equipment retrieves the order number and acquires the commodity information of the commodity of the order. In this embodiment, after the customer orders, the cashier device receives and stores the order number and the commodity information in time, and when the customer checks out, the customer scans the collection code and obtains the order number, so that the commodity information is obtained according to the order number for use in checking out.
According to another preferred embodiment of the present invention, the commodity information is encoded in the aggregate code, or more preferably, the commodity information is encoded in the aggregate code while the order number is not encoded. In this case, the checkout method includes: in step S208, the cash register device 102 scans the aggregate code and decodes the aggregate code to obtain the merchandise information, and then the merchandise information may be displayed on the screen of the cash register device 102 for the clerk 103 and/or the customer 105 to check, and then the total price of the merchandise may be calculated.
According to another preferred embodiment of the present invention, the assembly code encodes both the order number and the commodity information. In this case, the checkout method includes:
step S209: and sending the order number and the commodity information to the server 101. After receiving the commodity selection and acquiring the commodity information, the ordering device 104 or the user device sends the order number and the commodity information to the server 101 for background storage and query.
Step S210: the cash register end device 102 scans the aggregate code and decodes the aggregate code to obtain the order number and the commodity information.
Step S211: according to the order number, the commodity information of the order is retrieved and received from the server 101.
Step S212: the commodity information obtained by scanning the aggregate code is compared and verified with the commodity information received from the server 101. The process of comparing and verifying can be automatically completed by the cash register end device 102, and if the verification information is correct, the commodity information is further output to, for example, a display screen of the cash register end device 102, and the total price of the commodity can be calculated; if the verification information is incorrect, the product information obtained by scanning the aggregate code and the product information received from the server 101 are rechecked, and if necessary, the store clerk 103 manually compares the product information with the information of the product purchased by the customer 105 to check whether or not the product information matches the information of the product.
Alternatively, when the order number and the commodity information are encoded in the aggregate code at the same time, the settlement method further includes: the cash register end device 102 scans the aggregate code and decodes the aggregate code to obtain the order number and the commodity information. Alternatively, the order number and the product information obtained by decoding are transmitted to the server 101 and stored. In addition, the merchandise information may be displayed on the screen of the checkout side device 102. In the present embodiment, when scanning is performed at the cash register side device 102, the order number and the commodity information obtained by decoding are transmitted to the server 101 to be backed up and stored without being transmitted in advance and without being authenticated. Or optionally, the checkout method further includes sending the order number to the server. For example, after an order is generated, the order ordering device or an APP or an applet on the user equipment sends the order number to the server.
For the self-made dish type commodities in the store, the checkout method for checkout by using the collection code solves the problem that checkout is difficult because the self-made dish type commodities have no checkout code, accelerates the speed of commodity checkout, and also unifies the checkout mode of the self-made dish type checkout with the checkout mode of the commodities with the checkout code, so that the checkout method is simpler and more clear and is easy to operate.
When the commodities selected by the customer are all self-made dishes without settlement codes at the time of commodity settlement, the settlement method comprises the following steps: scanning one or more aggregation codes to obtain the prices of the commodities of the orders corresponding to the aggregation codes; and calculating the total price of the order corresponding to the one or more aggregation codes and settling accounts.
When the commodities selected by the customer include not only self-made dishes without a settlement code but also commodities with the settlement code at the time of commodity settlement, the settlement method comprises the following steps: scanning one or more aggregation codes to obtain the prices of the commodities of the orders corresponding to the aggregation codes; scanning one or more coded commodities with settlement codes to obtain prices of the coded commodities; the total price is calculated.
After the step of scanning the aggregation code or the scanning the aggregation code and the settlement code, the checkout method further comprises: and generating a payment voucher and carrying out collection operation. The payment voucher is optionally printed by a printer connected to the cash register end device 102 to generate a statement bill, and the statement bill may further include information such as store information, commodity information, order information, transaction information, printing time, and a statement of a settlement voucher, so that the statement bill can be viewed and stored by a customer. Alternatively, the payment certificate may be an electronic payment certificate, which includes a two-dimensional code or a bar code, and is encoded with relevant information of the transaction, for example, at least a transaction amount, and the customer may perform electronic payment by scanning the electronic payment certificate.
When the clerk 103 orders a mistake due to a malfunction or the customer 105 wants to modify a selected merchandise, the checkout method provides steps for modification, specifically: providing a graphical user interface on the checkout end device for modifying merchandise, including adding and deleting items and/or quantities of merchandise, prior to generating the payment credentials; and receiving modification input through interactive operation with the graphical user interface so as to modify the commodity to be generated with the payment certificate.
Since the aggregate code is configured to correspond to an order generated as a whole of one or more selected home-made dishes or goods, in the above checkout method, the graphical user interface is preferably configured to allow deletion of the order corresponding to the aggregate code in whole, and not to allow deletion of individual goods in the order corresponding to the aggregate code. When the clerk 103 or the customer 105 modifies one or more goods in the order, the order needs to be deleted, the aggregate code is invalidated, the goods are reselected to generate a new aggregate code, and the order corresponding to the aggregate code is checked out.
