Detailed Description
Referring to fig. 1 and 2, an embodiment of the caster device of the present invention includes a wheel base 1, a moving unit 2, a steering unit 5, a braking unit 3, and a driving unit 4.
The wheel seat 1 defines an accommodating space 11 and a shaft hole 12 with an opening facing upward and extending downward to the accommodating space 11.
The moving unit 2 includes a wheel shaft 21 penetrating the wheel base 1, and two rotating wheels 22 mounted at the left and right ends of the wheel shaft 21 and capable of rotating, each rotating wheel 22 includes an inner side 221 facing the other rotating wheel 22, at least one inner side 221 is provided with a plurality of first tooth blocks 222 arranged around its own axis at intervals, and two adjacent first tooth blocks 222 define a first tooth slot 223 together.
The steering unit 5 is disposed through the shaft hole 12, and includes a shaft 51 inserted into the shaft hole 12 and capable of rotating around its axis, a bearing 52 sleeved on the shaft 51, a gear 53 sleeved on the shaft 51 and located below the bearing 52 and rotating with the shaft 51, and a third elastic member 54 sleeved on the shaft 51 and located between the gear 53 and the bearing 52, wherein a cross section of a sleeved portion of the gear 53 and the shaft 51 is non-circular, so that the gear 53 can move up and down along the shaft 51 and rotate with the shaft 51, the gear 53 has a plurality of second tooth blocks 531 arranged in a surrounding manner at intervals, two adjacent second tooth blocks define a second tooth slot 532 together, one end of the third elastic member 54 abuts against the gear 53, and the other end of the third elastic member 531 abuts against the bearing 52.
The brake unit 3 is disposed in the accommodating space 11, and includes a brake base 31 defining a through hole 311, a first brake lever 32 inserted into the wheel base 1 and the through hole 311, a second brake lever 34 fixed on the brake base 31 and located in the axle hole 12, a first elastic member 33 disposed between the brake base 31 and the wheel base 1, and a second elastic member 35 disposed in the through hole 311. One end of the second elastic element 35 is abutted against the brake seat 31, and the other end is abutted against the first brake lever 32. The brake seat 31 can move relative to the wheel seat 1 between a braking position and an active position, in the braking position, the horizontal position of the brake seat 31 is higher than that in the active position, the first brake lever 32 moves upward simultaneously and at least one end is embedded in the corresponding first tooth groove 223, and the second brake lever 34 is embedded in the corresponding second tooth groove 532. The first elastic member 33 will accumulate an elastic force when the brake seat 31 is located at the braking position, and will constantly move the brake seat 31 to the active position.
The driving unit 4 includes a brake driving plate 41 pivotally mounted on the wheel seat 1, and a brake releasing driving plate 42 located above the brake driving plate 41 and pivotally mounted on the wheel seat 1, the brake driving plate 41 has a first pivot 411 pivotally connected to the wheel seat 1, a supporting portion 412 located on one side of the brake driving plate 41 and capable of supporting the brake seat 31, a first stepping portion 413 located on the other side of the brake driving plate 41 and exposed out of the wheel seat 1, and a first fixing portion 414 facing the brake releasing driving plate 42, the brake releasing driving plate 42 has a second pivot 421 pivotally connected to the wheel seat 1, a second fixing portion 422 capable of being mutually fastened to the first fixing portion 414, and a second stepping portion 423 exposed out of the wheel seat 1.
Referring to fig. 3 to 6, in use, the caster device is usually mounted below a carrier to be transported, the carrier is pushed by the moving unit 2 in a labor-saving manner, and the change of the traveling direction is controlled by the steering unit 5. When the carrier needs to be moved again, the second stepping portion 423 is swung downward to separate the first fixing portion 414 from the second fixing portion 422, and the first elastic member 33 pushes the brake seat 31 downward to the active position, so that the moving unit 2 and the steering unit 5 can continue to move without limitation.
Referring to fig. 7, when the brake base 31 is at the braking position, if the first brake lever 32 abuts against the first tooth block 222, the first brake lever 32 cannot move upward to compress the second elastic member 35, and at this time, the user can slightly push the carrier, rotate the rotating wheel 22 until the first tooth space 223 rotates to a position where the first brake lever 32 can be embedded, and the second elastic member 35 can push the first brake lever 32 to be embedded into the corresponding first tooth space 223; if the second brake lever 34 abuts against the corresponding second tooth 531, the gear 53 will be pushed upwards and squeeze the third elastic member 54, at this time, the user can slightly rotate the carrier, and further rotate the shaft 51 until the second tooth 532 rotates to a position where the second brake lever 34 can be inserted, and the third elastic member 54 will push the gear 53 to make the second brake lever 34 be inserted into the corresponding second tooth 532.
