Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of medical instruments, and particularly relates to a novel collector for nasopharynx swabs of patients with infectious diseases and a using method thereof.
Background

When a nasopharynx swab specimen is collected, the collection depth is a key, a patient has cough, sneeze and the like in the sampling process, the existing throat or nose swab collector cannot effectively protect the safety of the collector, and droplets or aerosol generated by the reaction of cough and the like after stimulation of the patient increases the infection rate of medical care personnel; the splash generated during the specimen collection can reach 2 meters, which causes serious pollution to the surrounding environment of a ward and has potential safety hazard.
