发明内容

多组分系统是用于两种或更多种反应物或组分的同时混合和雾化的机构,常常用于形成泡沫产物(例如,绝缘材料)。多组分喷涂系统提出了多个设计挑战。例如,一旦混合,一些组分应该被快速地施加,因为固化过程会立即开始。任何回流均会阻塞施加器,并且可能使其无法使用。另外,组分在分散之前必须经历充分的混合,以在雾化时具有足够的产率。各个组分具有自己的通往施加器喷嘴内的混合室的输送管线。然而,对于至少一些组分,在混合室或喷嘴内留一小段时间就会导致组分硬化,从而导致施加器在每次扳机按下之间经历性能下降。对于一些组分,仅用喷涂操作之间的一分钟的停工时间就可导致组分在混合室或喷嘴内硬化。这会导致多组分施加器的操作者不得不每喷涂操作使用多个喷嘴,从而每次扳机拉动,将使用过的喷嘴更换为新的喷嘴。

在先前的设计中,在扳机114返回到非喷涂位置之后,喷嘴108特别是组分喷嘴入口142和喷嘴组分入口144易于保留第一和第二组分的一些部分。保留在喷嘴108中的第一和第二组分会降低在下一扳机致动期间多组分施加器100的喷涂功效。因此,多组分施加器的许多操作者不仅使用一次性喷嘴,而且不得不在喷涂操作期间多次更换喷嘴,例如,操作者每次停止喷涂和喷嘴休息时。在不到一分钟的停工时间内,一些组分会在喷嘴内形成层。因此,如果操作者在喷涂中不得不休息超过一分钟(例如,为了重新定位等),则在重新开始喷涂之前可能需要新的喷嘴。
另外,移除和更换喷嘴还会导致反应物在喷枪喷嘴附接部分内堆积,从而使得随时间推移在反应物硬化层上附接新的喷嘴更加困难。
在扳机释放之后通过喷嘴108和类似部件自动地净化空气,可解决大部分上述问题。
图3A是示出多组分施加器的示例的透视图,其中喷嘴108从施加器被拆卸。图3B是示出附接有喷嘴的多组分施加器的示例的透视图。在图3A中,喷嘴108从多组分施加器100被拆卸。喷嘴108与多组分施加器100对准,使得喷嘴108将联接到组分喷嘴接口152、组分喷嘴接口154和空气喷嘴接口156。喷嘴108包括与多组分施加器100的通道115对准的喷嘴销111。喷嘴销111与通道115的对准确保了喷嘴与组分喷嘴接口152、组分喷嘴接口154和空气喷嘴接口156的正确对准。在一些示例中,喷嘴108可按照两种不同的方式对准,而不会影响施加器操作。例如,如所示的喷嘴108可旋转180度,被插入,并且仍起作用。
在图3B中,喷嘴108被插入到多组分施加器100中,使得喷嘴销111一旦被插入就位于通道115内,然后喷嘴108可被锁定到位。在一个示例中,旋转喷嘴锁110以将喷嘴108锁定到位。喷嘴锁110包括倾斜通道,使得喷嘴锁110的旋转线性地迫使喷嘴108与组分喷嘴接口152、组分喷嘴接口154和空气喷嘴接口156接触。类似地,当喷嘴锁110在相反方向上旋转时,喷嘴锁110的倾斜通道可对喷嘴108施加力远离组分喷嘴接口152、组分喷嘴接口154和空气喷嘴接口156。当通过多组分施加器110馈送的组分快速地硬化并且喷嘴108可能部分地结合到施加器上时,这会是有用的。
图4A至图4C是多组分施加器100在扳机114和扳机锁118的各种致动阶段的侧视图。在图4A中,扳机114处于未致动或关闭位置。在图4B中,扳机锁118处于致动位置。如所示,如果扳机锁118不处于致动位置,则扳机114无法被致动。在一些示例中,扳机锁118被偏置到未致动位置(例如,图4A所示的情况)。在图4C中,扳机114处于致动或打开位置,使得流体流过多组分施加器100。
图5A是示出一个示例喷嘴108的立体透视图。如所示,喷嘴108包括出口109、喷嘴组分入口142、喷嘴组分入口144和喷嘴空气入口146。喷嘴组分入口142与多组分施加器100接口以(例如,从阀120)接收第一组分。喷嘴组分入口144与多组分施加器100接口以(例如,从阀120)接收第二组分。第一和第二组分在喷嘴108中混合,然后通过出口109排出。多组分系统常常需要混合两种或更多种组分以生成将被施加在表面上的混合物。在一些应用中重要的是,组分非常好地混合,否则最终混合物将无法正确施加。
图5B是示出一个示例喷嘴108的分解图。喷嘴108包括主体157和曲径158。曲折结构158接收来自喷嘴组分入口142和喷嘴组分入口144的组分,并且提供被配置为在通过主体157的出口109排出之前将这些组分混合的结构。如所示,曲折结构158密封主体157的内部,使得所接收的组分必须遍历围绕曲折结构158的特定路径。曲折结构158被分成第一部170、第二部172、第三部174和第四部分176。如所示,由于壁171和173的形状,在第一部170中流动的流体顺时针旋转(由箭头181指示)。在第二部172,流体流被壁177阻碍并且旋转流反向。在第三部174,由于该反向,流体在壁173和175之间(由箭头183指示)逆时针旋转流动。在第四部176,流体朝着出口109流动。曲折结构158中的流体流的反向用于使从喷嘴组分入口142和喷嘴组分入口144接收的组分更好地混合。如所示,曲折结构158仅有四个部分,然而,在其它示例中,可存在由使组分流动时的方向反向的壁限定的附加部分。
另外,当流体到达曲折结构158的第四部176时,它们遇到从空气喷嘴出口159排出的空气流。空气喷嘴出口159从喷嘴空气入口146接收空气流。来自空气喷嘴出口159的该空气流可在混合的组分从出口109排出时帮助雾化混合的组分。空气流还可促进组分在他们通过出口109排出之前更加混合。
图5C是示出喷嘴108的一个示例的截面图。喷嘴108包括主体157和曲折结构158。主体157和曲折结构158在接头161处联接在一起。主体157和曲折结构158通过卡扣设计联接在一起。然而,在其它示例中,主体157和曲折结构158也可按其它方式联接在一起。如所示,曲折结构158贴合(snug)在主体157内,使得被推动穿过喷嘴108的组分遵循由曲折结构158的壁169、171、173、175和177形成的路径,而不在曲折结构158和主体157之间。
曲折结构158包括中心柱167。壁169、171、173、175和177联接到中心柱167并围绕中心柱167设置。如所示,壁171、173和175垂直于中心柱167的长度。然而,在另一示例中,壁171、173和175可为螺旋的或螺线的。类似地,壁169和177可除了平行于中心柱167的长度之外取向。
图5D是示出一个示例喷嘴107的透视图。喷嘴107与图5A至图5C中的喷嘴108相似,并且相似的部件被相似地编号。喷嘴108和107之间的一个差异在于,喷嘴107的喷嘴组分入口142、喷嘴组分入口144、空气喷嘴入口146不具有挤压倒钩,也没有另一密封机构(例如,O形环通道等)。相反,喷嘴组分入口142、喷嘴组分入口144和空气喷嘴入口146通过施加器上的端面密封件(例如,O形环等)密封。然而,在其它示例中,喷嘴也可按其它方式密封。
图5B是示出示例喷嘴107的截面图。喷嘴107与图5A至图5C中的喷嘴108相似,并且相似的部件被相似地编号。喷嘴108和喷嘴107之间的一个差异是主体157和曲折结构158如何联接在一起。如所示,在图5E中,主体157和曲折结构158被超声焊接在一起。然而,在其它示例中,主体157和曲折结构158也可按其它方式联接在一起。
图6A至图6F是阀120的各种图。图6A是阀120的透视图。如所示,阀120可通过销122和紧固件适配器124联接到施加器(例如,多组分施加器100)。销121可配合到扳机(例如,图1A中的扳机114)的槽中。紧固件适配器124可接纳紧固件(例如,图1A中的阀紧固件113)。由于销122和紧固件适配器124彼此分离,所以扳机114可对阀120提供相对大的旋转力(例如,利用杠杆优势)。阀120旋转以将不同的通道或插塞暴露给施加器100的入口和出口,如下面将描述的。
一旦安装,组分路径128与多组分施加器100的组分供应管线102对准。当阀120处于打开位置时,组分路径130与组分供应管线104对准。如图6C所示,组分路径128和组分路径130完全延伸穿过阀120。当阀120处于关闭位置时,组分插塞132与组分供应管线102对准。组分插塞132可包括O形环以更好地密封组分供应管线102的端部。组分插塞132密封供应管线并阻挡来自组分供应管线102的流体流。类似地,当阀120处于关闭位置时,组分插塞134与组分供应管线104对准。通道125沿着阀120的主体定位,并且可接纳多个O形环(或其它密封件)以防止组分在到达指定的混合区域(例如,喷嘴108中)之前混合。
图6D示出阀120的侧视图。如所示,存在两条空气路径;空气路径126和空气路径136。与组分路径128和组分路径130不同,不管阀的位置(例如,打开或关闭)如何,空气路径126和136保持打开。图6B是由图6D中的线B-B限定的横截面的截面图。图6B示出空气路径126和空气路径136的目的地。不管阀120处于打开位置还是关闭位置,空气流进入空气路径126或空气路径136。然而,空气的目的地根据打开位置或关闭位置而改变。例如,当喷枪处于打开位置时,空气流被朝着直接通向喷嘴108的喷嘴雾化路径139引导,以辅助和雾化从出口109排出的流体。当阀120处于关闭位置时,沿着喷嘴净化路径138引导来自空气路径126的空气流,这在图6F中更清楚地示出。
图6F是由图6E中的C-C限定的横截面的截面图。当阀120处于打开位置时,组分净化路径141如组分净化路径140一样终止于旋转阀壳体112的一部件处。然而,空气流仍存在于空气路径136和喷嘴净化路径138中。当阀120处于关闭位置(即,使得不沿着组分路径128和组分路径130输送组分)时,沿着组分净化路径141和组分净化路径140引导空气流。在阀120处于关闭位置的同时,通过组分净化路径141的空气流被引导到组分喷嘴接口152中,从而净化该接口和流动路径。通过组分净化路径140的空气流被引导到组分喷嘴接口154,从而净化该接口和组分的路径。被引导通过喷嘴净化路径138的空气流可用于多个用途。当阀处于关闭位置时,该空气可净化喷嘴108,使得喷嘴108中的混合组分不硬化。当阀120处于打开位置时,通过喷嘴净化路径138/喷嘴雾化路径139的空气流帮助雾化通过出口109从喷嘴108排出的混合的组分。
一些先前的多组分喷枪设计需要喷嘴卡扣到喷枪的对应特征内的适当位置。然而,如先前所述,随着喷枪与越来越多的喷嘴一起使用,喷嘴与喷枪上对应的连接特征之间堆积的化学品会使得连接困难。这最终会导致喷枪无法使用。因此,期望有一种在重复的使用之后仍可容易地联接的喷嘴连接机构。
还应该注意的是,本文所描述的不同实施例可按不同的方式组合。即,一个或更多个实施例的部分可与一个或更多个其它实施例的部分组合。本文中考虑了所有这些。另外,至少一些实施例在低压(例如,低于250psi)下使用。
尽管以结构特征和/或方法动作所特定的语言描述了主题,但是将理解,所附权利要求中限定的主题未必限于上述特定特征或动作。相反,作为实现权利要求的示例形式公开了上述特定特征和动作。
Claims (13)
1.一种多组分施加器,包括:
第一组分入口,其被配置为从第一输送管线接收第一组分;
第二组分入口,其被配置为从第二输送管线接收第二组分;
喷嘴,其被配置为将第一组分和第二组分接收、混合并通过喷嘴出口输送;以及
一个阀,其包括打开位置和关闭位置,被配置为在关闭位置和打开位置之间致动,以允许第一组分和第二组分向喷嘴的流动,并且
所述打开位置被配置为允许第一组分流向第一喷嘴组分入口并且允许第二组分流向第二喷嘴组分入口;
所述关闭位置被配置为限制第一组分流向第一喷嘴组分入口并限制第二组分流向第二喷嘴组分入口,
当阀处于关闭位置时,自动地净化第一组分和第二组分的喷嘴,所述阀还包括:
空气路径,其从空气源接收空气流;以及
净化路径,其流体地联接到空气路径,当阀处于关闭位置时,将空气流的一部分引导到喷嘴中以净化第一组分和第二组分的喷嘴,净化路径包括:
第一组分净化路径,其被配置为将空气流的第一部分引导到第一喷嘴组分入口;
第二组分净化路径,其被配置为将空气流的第二部分引导到第二喷嘴组分入口;以及
喷嘴净化路径,其被配置为不管阀处于打开位置还是关闭位置都将空气流的第三部分引导到喷嘴的空气入口,
扳机,配置成使阀在打开位置和关闭位置之间旋转。
2.根据权利要求1所述的多组分施加器,其中,所述阀包括:
第一组分插塞,其被配置为当阀处于关闭位置时密封第一组分入口;以及
第二组分插塞,其被配置为当阀处于关闭位置时密封第二组分入口。
3.根据权利要求1所述的多组分施加器,其中,所述阀包括:
喷嘴雾化路径,其流体地联接到空气路径,所述喷嘴雾化路径将空气流的第三部分引导到喷嘴的喷嘴出口。
4.根据权利要求1所述的多组分施加器,其中,所述阀包括:
第一空气路径入口,其流体地联接到空气路径,当阀处于关闭位置时,所述第一空气路径入口被配置为从空气源接收空气流;以及
第二空气路径入口,其流体地联接到空气路径,当阀处于打开位置时,所述第二空气路径入口被配置为从空气源接收空气流。
5.根据权利要求1所述的多组分施加器,其中,所述喷嘴包括曲径,所述曲径被配置为将喷嘴中的第一组分和第二组分混合。
6.根据权利要求5所述的多组分施加器,其中,所述曲径包括:
第一壁和第二壁,所述第一壁和第二壁二者均围绕中心柱设置,其中,中心柱包括:
被配置为从阀中的空气路径接收空气流的空气入口以及被配置为在第一壁和第二壁下游的点将空气流的至少一部分引导到喷嘴出口的空气出口。
7.根据权利要求6所述的多组分施加器,其中,所述喷嘴包括两部分组件,所述两部分组件包括第一部分和第二部分,所述第一部分包括:喷嘴主体和喷嘴出口;并且所述第二部分包括:曲径、第一喷嘴组分入口和第二喷嘴组分入口。
8.根据权利要求1所述的多组分施加器,其中,所述喷嘴包括:
第一部,其被配置为引导第一组分和第二组分在第一旋转方向上的流动;以及
第二部,其设置在第一部下游,所述第二部被配置为引导第一组分和第二组分在与第一旋转方向相反的第二旋转方向上流动。
9.根据权利要求1所述的多组分施加器,还包括:
手柄;
扳机,其联接到阀;以及
扳机锁,其联接到手柄的与扳机相反的一侧,所述扳机锁被配置为防止扳机的致动。
10.一种用于多组分施加器的阀,包括:
第一组分路径,其被配置为当阀处于打开位置时允许第一组分向第一组分喷嘴入口的流动,并且当阀处于关闭位置时限制第一组分的流动;
第二组分路径,其被配置为当阀处于打开位置时允许第二组分向第二组分喷嘴入口的流动,并且当阀处于关闭位置时限制第二组分的流动;以及
空气路径,其被配置为当阀处于打开位置或关闭位置时允许空气的流动,
所述空气路径包括:
第一空气入口,其当阀处于打开位置时接收空气流;
第二空气入口,其当阀处于关闭位置时接收空气流;
第一空气出口,其不管阀处于打开位置还是关闭位置都将空气流引导到喷嘴的雾化通道;
第二空气出口,其当阀处于关闭位置时将空气流引导到第一组分喷嘴入口;以及
第三空气出口,其当阀处于关闭位置时将空气流引导到第二组分喷嘴入口。
11.根据权利要求10所述的阀,还包括:
第一组分插塞,其被配置为当阀处于关闭位置时密封第一组分供应管线出口;以及
第二组分插塞,其被配置为当阀处于关闭位置时密封第二组分供应管线出口。
12.根据权利要求10所述的阀,还包括四个通道,所述四个通道中的每一个被配置为接纳密封件,其中,所述密封件禁止第一组分和第二组分在喷嘴上游混合。
13.根据权利要求10所述的阀,还包括紧固件孔和销,所述紧固件孔被配置为接纳紧固件以将扳机联接到阀,并且所述销被配置为与扳机的一部分接合。
