Description

Protective head cover
Technical Field
The invention relates to medical equipment, in particular to a protective hood.
Background
The epidemic situation of the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) spreads, and with the increase of the number of confirmed people, medical protection is of great importance, not only medical staff who fight the epidemic situation at the first line need protective masks, protective clothing and the like of level N95, but also some staff who provide basic life guarantee (such as taxi drivers, couriers, service staff of supermarkets or restaurants and the like) need better protective measures due to higher infection risk, and in addition, the old or people with chronic diseases have higher proportion to cause serious pneumonia or cause death, so that more strict protective measures are needed when contacting with the outside or other people.
At present, the common protective equipment used in medical treatment, dust and other places is a mask, and protective masks are often used in some special occasions (such as in the environment contacting toxic gas).
Although the mask is convenient to use, there are some problems:
(1) in order to filter viruses, the gaps of the air filter cloth or the filter core of the medical mask are small, the effective area of the air permeable material is small, the air permeability is poor, so that the breathing resistance is large, the breathing is difficult, the breathing is easy to cause discomfort after long-time wearing (for example, the expert suggests that the using time of the N95 mask is not more than 4 hours), and the working comfort of medical staff is influenced. More seriously, because the air passing through has large resistance, the air can be ensured to flow into the mask to be breathed by the user only by large air pressure difference between the inside and the outside, the sealing joint between the mask and the face is easy to be damaged by the large air pressure difference, air leakage can occur at the position with poor sealing, the safety of the mask is influenced, and the health risk is caused to medical personnel working at the epidemic prevention front line for a long time.
(2) The protective area of the mask is small. For medical personnel working in dangerous environments, the protection of eyes and other face and head positions cannot be realized.
(3) The sealing performance of the mask is poor. Because the wearing mode, the face shape and the like are different, the sealing cannot be effectively realized, and the health risk is caused to a wearer.
For the protective mask, the problems of small effective area, poor air permeability and large breathing resistance of the breathable material also exist. Some more professional head-mounted respirators (e.g., fire masks) are complex in structure and use, are not suitable for medical personnel to wear during work, and are not suitable for ordinary people to wear outdoors.

Detailed Description
The technical solution in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the accompanying drawings in the embodiments of the present invention. It is to be understood that the described embodiments are merely exemplary of the invention, and not restrictive of the full scope of the invention. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
The main problems of the common mask are as follows: unsmooth breathing and insufficient safety protection performance. The reasons for insufficient safety protection performance are: the edges of the mask seal against the skin and the mask does not protect the eyes and other surfaces/head. On the other hand, some high-grade protective clothing can ensure smooth breathing while playing a role of safety protection, however, the protective clothing is expensive, and is troublesome to use and wear.
The invention provides a protective hood which is safe, reliable, convenient to use and wear and smooth to breathe in consideration of the advantages and the disadvantages of a mask and protective clothing, and can be used for meeting most of requirements of wide civil and medical occasions.
According to the embodiment of the invention, the protective hood is provided, so that the protective hood can be well closed and can breathe smoothly, and the comfort and the safety of a user are effectively improved.
According to an embodiment of the present invention, there is provided a protective hood comprising:
a flexible hood having a lower opening around a neck of a user;
a mask assembly, comprising: an upper bracket; and a transparent mask mounted to the upper bracket and closely disposed on a front portion of the hood;
a neck wrap assembly at least partially surrounding a lower portion of said hood and selectively tightening and loosening said lower opening;
an air filtration device, comprising: the filter element, the air inlet pipe communicated into the head cover and the air outlet pipe communicated into the head cover, wherein the effective area of the filter element is larger than 250 square centimeters;
an air guide assembly, comprising: the air guide hood is buckled at the mouth and the nose of a user, and the air guide pipe is connected into the air guide hood from the air filtering device.
Thus, the protective hood adopts a totally enclosed design, so that the all-round protection of the part above the shoulder of a person is realized, and the flexible hood main body can adapt to different head types of users. The front opening part of the front face of the hood is sealed through a transparent mask, a wide visual field is provided for a user, and the lower opening below the neck of the hood is tightened or loosened through the annular sleeve of the neck sleeve assembly, so that the sealing effect is achieved. The effective area of the filter element (including the filter screen, for example) of the air filter is larger than 250 square centimeters, so that the effective ventilation area is large enough, the smooth breathing can be ensured while the pressure difference between the inner pressure and the outer pressure is small, and the filter screen is easy to replace (different grades of filter screens can be selected according to requirements). The ventilation system of the hood may be optimized aerodynamically for smooth air circulation to improve the user's protective breathing.
In addition, dispose the air guide subassembly in the hood and can further improve the breathing situation, but the user's mouth nose that covers through the air guide cover directly communicates in air filter, forms local comfortable breathing environment for inside breathing air is more unobstructed with external exchange, breathes more easily.
In addition, through the protection hood is with replacing current medical gauze mask, the user need not tighten the gauze mask bandage for strictly preventing the infiltration of bacterium (this often can cause the ear back or face excessively to receive the force or rub and damage), not only improves user comfort level, avoids unnecessary user injury moreover. It should be noted that the air guide cover fastened to the nose and mouth of the user is mainly used to further improve the local breathing environment of the user (as mentioned above), and the edge seal of the air guide cover is not strictly required to fasten the skin of the user, so that the damage to the skin of the user can be significantly reduced.
Therefore, the protective hood provided by the embodiment of the invention can be well sealed and can breathe smoothly, and the comfort and the safety of a user are effectively improved.
Wherein, the effective area of the filter element of the air filter is as follows: the area which is used for filtering in actual use is far larger than the assembly area after folding or compressing. For example, the effective area of the screen or filter (corresponding to the deployed area) is much larger than the assembly area formed by multiple folds (e.g., wave folds) of the screen or filter.
