Abstract
The invention provides a plant essential oil composition with sedative and sleep-aiding effects, which comprises lavender essential oil; the lavender essential oil is extracted from south-method Provence lavender by a water distillation method. According to the invention, the real lavender growing at the elevation of 1000-1200 m in the French Provence region is selected, extracted by an overwater distillation method, and then purified by combining molecular distillation to prepare the lavender oil without 1, 8-cineole, camphor, borneol and other components, wherein the main components are linalool, linalyl acetate, lavender acetate and the like.
Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of essential oil nerve calming, in particular to a plant essential oil composition with functions of calming and sleep aiding and a preparation method thereof.
Background
Sleep is an indispensable physiological requirement of a human being and one of the instinctive behaviors of a human being. One third of the life of a person is used for sleeping, which plays an important role in ensuring the normality and stability of various physiological functions of the body. With the increasing pressure of modern society, the insomnia phenomenon generally occurs, the incidence rate of insomnia is increased year by year, and the sleep problem becomes a social hotspot problem which is widely existed and is concerned.
According to the investigation of the world health organization, about 1/3 people have sleep disorders worldwide, and the proportion of people suffering from various sleep disorders in China is 38.2 percent and is higher than the global level. The chinese physician association sleep medical professional committee published the relevant research reports to the media on a near day basis. The study showed a mean + value of sleep score after 90 of 66.26 points; the common sleeping is not good.
Common sleep problems are manifested by shallow sleep, slow falling asleep, difficulty falling asleep, and fatigue after waking up. The sleep quality is reduced, so that people are easy to fatigue, have poor spirit and are difficult to concentrate in scenes such as life and work of the next day, and in some specific occupations, serious accidents can be caused. The sleep is clinically treated by using sedative hypnotic and anxiolytic drugs, so that the sleep time of a patient is shortened, and the waking frequency in sleep is reduced, thereby rapidly relieving the insomnia symptom and achieving the treatment effect. Modern medical research shows that: the use of sedative hypnotic and anxiolytic drugs can prolong the light sleep time of insomniacs, reduce slow wave sleep and quick eye movement sleep, and shows that the drugs can prolong the sleep time of patients, but cannot fundamentally improve the sleep quality and relieve fatigue. Natural plant essential oil has been used for soothing nerves and helping sleep for a long time, and people often burn vanilla to keep good health and feel happy, soothe nerves and help sleep as early as ancient times. In modern society, Aromatherapy (Aromatherapy) is an effective method for regulating body and mind and relieving stress. Lavender oil is most commonly used in aromatherapy, and its fragrance is believed to contribute to health and calmness. It is reported in the literature that it also has a stress, anxiety, or even mild pain relieving effect. In the aspect of relieving sleep disorder, the lavender essential oil is also applied very much, and a large number of sleep-assisting products developed by depending on the lavender oil are available in the market, and comprise products such as aromatherapy, perfume, sleep-assisting pillows and the like. According to market research on lavender essential oil sleep-aiding products, the feedback of a lot of consumers is found, and the effects of soothing the nerves and aiding sleep are not achieved but the refreshing effect is achieved when the lavender essential oil is used. Through research on literature data, the common lavender comprises real lavender, striking lavender and spicate lavender, and essential oils of different lavender varieties are greatly different in components. The same lavender has larger difference of essential oil components along with the difference of soil components, climate conditions, growing season, harvesting time and storage and transportation conditions. In addition, the same lavender and the same growth environment have larger difference in the components of the essential oil due to the difference of the extraction and purification processes. The difference of the components causes different effects of the essential oil, and some lavender essential oil has the effects of calming and helping sleep, and some lavender essential oil has the effect of refreshing mind.

Subjective sleep-aid test
And subjectively judging the improvement condition of the compound essential oil on the sleep quality of the human by adopting a Pittsburgh sleep index scale (PSQI). PSQI was compiled in 1989 by doctor Buysse et al, university of pittsburgh, usa, and is an authoritative international common sleep laboratory assessment scale. When the score of the table is reduced by more than or equal to 3 points, the subjective sleep quality is judged to be improved.
All subjects in this study were enrolled by voluntary enrollment, mainly from guangzhou multi-dwelling biotech, inc. After the personal condition registration forms (filling contents comprise name, age, sex, address, sleep quality condition, allergy history and the like) filled by all the registration personnel are screened by comparison, 33 persons are finally selected as volunteers, wherein 8 persons are male, 12 persons are female, the age is 21-40 years, and the average is (26.9 +/-3.1). Subjects were randomized into 11 groups of 3 subjects each.
In the bedroom of the testee, a drop of essential oil (theoretical 0.05 ml/drop) is dropped into 50ml of warm water at 40 ℃, then the essential oil is added into the aromatherapy machine, and the aromatherapy machine is opened 1h before the testee normally works and sleeps for a test period. Before the test is started and after the test is finished, all the subjects are required to complete the same Pittsburgh sleep quality index questionnaire according to actual conditions.

And (3) scoring the pitasburg sleep index scale, wherein the pitasburg sleep index scale is a common sleep experiment evaluation scale in the world, and if the score of the table is reduced by more than or equal to 3, the subjective sleep is improved. From the results of this study, the subjects of examples 5-10 all had different degrees of improvement in sleep quality after product use, with the improvement seen most clearly in example 5.
Objective sleep-aiding test
By utilizing sleep electroencephalogram test, the percentage change conditions of β and α waves, α and theta waves in the sleep stage (S1-30min), theta waves in the latent sleep stage (S2-30min) and delta waves in the medium-deep sleep stage (S3-30min) before and after the testee smells and inhales essential oil are observed.
In the residential area near the third hospital affiliated to the university of Zhongshan, the volunteers for the sleep experiment were recruited, and in total, 36 volunteers were named, and 11 subjects were finally selected according to the Pittsburgh sleep quality index Scale (PQSI) score of 11-16 (indicating poor sleep quality), wherein 3 were male, 3 were female, and the age was 21-40.
According to the brain wave change rule of clinical sleep brain wave research, the judgment standard is that β wave reduction percentage is more than or equal to 2% in the sleep period (wake-30min), α wave increase percentage is more than or equal to 2% in the sleep period (S1-30min), α wave reduction percentage is more than or equal to 2% in the sleep period (S1-30min), theta wave increase percentage is more than or equal to 2% in the theta wave increase percentage is effective, theta wave increase percentage is more than or equal to 2% in the latent sleep period (S2-30min), delta wave increase percentage is more than or equal to 2% in the medium-deep sleep period (S3-30min), and objective sleep quality is considered to be improved when 4 brain wave change amounts are more than.
Claims (9)
1. A plant essential oil composition, comprising:
lavender essential oil; and
at least one of an odor-blending component and an odor-stabilizing component.
2. The plant essential oil composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein the odor blending component is at least one selected from the group consisting of chamomile oil, vetiver oil, patchouli oil, bergamot fruit oil,
preferably, the weight parts of the chamomile oil, the vetiver oil, the patchouli oil and the bergamot fruit oil are the same.
3. A plant essential oil composition according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the odor stabilizing component is at least one selected from the group consisting of sandalwood oil, benzoin oil, mastic oil,
preferably, the sandalwood oil, benzoin oil and mastic oil are in the same weight part.
4. A plant essential oil composition according to any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the weight ratio of the odor blending component to the lavender essential oil is (5-20): (70-90).
5. A plant essential oil composition according to any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein the ratio of the odor stabilizing component to the lavender essential oil in parts by weight is (5-15): (70-90).
6. A plant essential oil composition according to any one of claims 1 to 5, wherein the lavender essential oil is extracted from real lavender of south Fanfo Wang by distillation over water.
7. The plant essential oil composition as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 6, wherein the lavender essential oil is prepared by the following method:
1) extracting by adopting an overwater distillation method, distilling for 2-3 h, collecting condensate, standing for layering, and collecting an upper oil phase;
2) purifying by molecular distillation, and collecting heavy components to obtain oleum Lavandula Angustifolia.
8. The plant essential oil composition as claimed in claim 7, wherein the distillation temperature in the molecular distillation purification in the step 2) is 40-50 ℃, the distillation pressure is 60-80Pa, and the rotating speed of the wiped film is 200--1。
9. A plant essential oil composition according to any one of claims 1 to 8, which is used in the field of sedation and sleep aid.
