Abstract
A cabinet (1) comprising a receiving space (2), a rack (9) received in the receiving space (2), an entrance (3) to the receiving space (2), and a moving mechanism (4) for moving the rack (9) through the opening (3); wherein the movement mechanism (4) comprises a first arm (5) and a second arm (6), which are supported by the cabinet (1), are cantilevered, are located inside the containment space (2), and are able to rotate about a vertical line (V), the first arm (5) and the second arm (6) in turn supporting the relative shelves (9) in their rotatable condition to rotate about at least one vertical line (V); at least a second arm (6) of the arms (5,6) is provided with: two component sections (10, 11) which converge at a plug-in articulated joint (12); and control and guide means (13) for coordinating the movement of said first (5) and second (6) arms, designed to allow the shelves (9) to travel along a horizontal trajectory in a variable orientation in their positioning in order to pass through the entrance (3) of the cabinet (1). The control and guide device (13) comprises a double slide (14) and a double track (16), the double slide (14) being movable with respect to the double track, the slide (14) and the track (16) being constantly coupled to each other and being effectively positioned between the first arm (5) and the second arm (6).
Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a cabinet having a shelf that can be pulled out of a receiving space and an associated pull-out mechanism having an improved guide.
Background
When constructing furniture, in particular corner cabinets, which may have a modular structure, a known method for solving the problem of difficult access to the compartment inside the furniture through the furniture door is to manufacture the shelf so that it can be pulled out for use and then put back into the compartment by a reverse movement.
In fact, this allows the user to access and use the rack completely comfortably, without encountering any obstacle, and then to place the rack back into the accommodation space inside the furniture, together with the supported object, when he or she has finished the handling of the object.
The movement of pulling and replacing the shelf through the entrance of the furniture affects the contour shape of the shelf and the trajectory of the shelf, which must be followed in order to: coming out of the accommodation space of the furniture; to the outside of the furniture; and back into the furniture during the reverse movement. In terms of shape, semicircular shelves have proved to provide a satisfactory compromise between available surface and unobstructed transport through furniture entrances.
One prior art solution proposed by the same applicant and described in document IT102017000069780 proposes a solution with a track having a substantially sinusoidal two-lobed shape, substantially defined by two consecutive arcs, substantially semicircular in opposite directions, closed at opposite ends of the track. The pull-out shelf is moved by a control mechanism (for shelf movement) which essentially comprises a slide which moves forward and backward along the rail between the closed ends of the rails according to a suitable law of motion achieved within the geometry of the rail which prevents the slide from releasing itself from the rail.
This solution, although obtaining significant advantages, in particular in terms of simplifying the moving mechanism for pulling out the shelves, is susceptible to further improvements.
Disclosure of Invention
Within the scope of this technical aim, a first object of the invention relates to finding a movement mechanism that allows a sliding part to slide very regularly and reproducibly even after a very long period of use.
A second object is to seek means of high level of structural rigidity which ensure that the parts of the movable part are not accidentally released even after any significant deformation caused by a high overload of the object holder.

figure 3 shows a top view of the rack and the associated pull-out mechanism extracted from the cabinet;

figures 6 and 7 are partial perspective views, with parts cut away, of the invention from the top and bottom, respectively.
Detailed Description
With reference to fig. 1 to 4 of the drawings, the reference numeral 1 denotes as a whole a general-purpose cabinet provided with a housing space 2 provided with a horizontal shelf 9 for supporting an object and a moving mechanism for the shelf 9. The moving mechanism 4 comprises a first arm 5 and a second arm 6, also supported by the cabinet 1, cantilevered and able to rotate about a vertical line V.
The arms 5,6 in turn support a shelf 9, which can also rotate about the vertical line V, and in particular the second arm 6 is provided with two component sections 10, 11, which converge to a plug-in articulated joint 12. The above-mentioned coordination of the movement of the arms 5,6 is designed to allow the shelves 9 to travel along a horizontal trajectory in a variable orientation in their positioning in order to pass through the access opening 3 of the cabinet 1.
In particular (fig. 5), the control and guide means 13 comprise a movable double slide 14 and a double track 16, constantly coupled to each other and effectively positioned between the above-mentioned first arm 5 and second arm 6 (fig. 6 to 7).
In particular, as shown in fig. 5 to 7, each rail 16 is supported by a respective plate 17 or half-shell 18. The plate 17 preferably extends in a relatively large horizontal plane 20. Their thickness is such that they cover the entire height range of the respective rail 16; in addition, each plate 17 is reinforced by a dense set of lattice fins 23, which further increases their structural rigidity.
The double sliders 14 are coaxial and are connected to each other in a single piece and are interposed between two of said tracks 16 located on either side and opposite each other.
The two opposite plates 16 may be integrally connected to each other by means of screws (not shown) engaged in seats shaped to match the plates 16 and marked 24.
The invention achieves the stated object. In fact, the presence of the double plate 17 allows to halve the contact pressure between the movable parts under all conditions being equal, with consequent increase of the working life of the invention, the double slider 14 engaged in the double track 16 operating in this double plate 17.
Furthermore, the high rigidity of the control and guide means 13 means that the movement is very regular and repeatable under the load conditions of any shelf 9, and also guarantees that the slides 14 and the relative tracks 16 are not accidentally released from each other.
The above invention can be applied to obvious industrial application. It can be modified and adapted in several ways without thereby departing from the scope of the appended claims. Moreover, all the details of the invention may be substituted by technically equivalent elements.
Claims (7)
1. Cabinet comprising a receiving space (2), a rack (9) received in the receiving space (2), an entrance (3) to the receiving space (2) and a moving mechanism (4) for moving the rack (9) through the entrance (3); wherein the movement mechanism (4) comprises a first arm (5) and a second arm (6) which are cantilevered supported by the cabinet (1), located inside the containment space (2), and rotatable about a vertical line (V), the first arm (5) and the second arm (6) in turn supporting the relative rack (9) in a rotatable condition for turning about at least one vertical line (V); at least a second arm (6) of the arms (5,6) is provided with: two component sections (10, 11) which converge at a plug-in articulated joint (12); and control and guide means (13) for coordinating the movement of said first (5) and second (6) arms, designed to allow the shelves (9) to travel along a horizontal trajectory in a variable orientation in their positioning, in order to pass through the entrance (3) of said cabinet (1); the control and guide means (13) comprise two slides (14) and two tracks (16), the slides (14) being movable with respect to the tracks (16), the slides (14) and the tracks (16) being coupled to each other and being effectively positioned between the first arm (5) and the second arm (6); the cabinet (1) being characterized in that said two tracks (16) and said two slides (14) are constantly coupled to each other and in that said tracks are one curve with undulation and comprise three consecutive bends, and in that said two slides (14) are coaxial and are integrally connected to each other, being interposed between two of said tracks (16) located on either side and opposite each other; the slide (14) is supported by the structure of the articulated joint (12) and the track (16) is supported by the first arm (5); the length of the three consecutive bends decreases with the movement along the first arm (5) away from the vertical line (V).
2. Cabinet (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that at least one of the rails (16) is supported by a plate (17).
3. Cabinet (1) according to claim 2, wherein the rails (16) are each supported by one of the plates (17) extending substantially horizontally.
4. Cabinet (1) according to claim 2 or 3, characterized in that said plate (17) is in the shape of two half-shells (18, 19) opposite each other and located on either side of an ideal horizontal plane (20).
5. Cabinet (1) according to claim 4, characterized in that said two half-shells (18, 19) are rigidly and integrally connected to each other.
6. A movement mechanism for a movable rack (9) which can be pulled out from a cabinet (1), the cabinet (1) comprising a receiving space (2), a rack (9) received in the receiving space (2), an entrance (3) to the receiving space (2); wherein the movement mechanism (4) comprises a first arm (5) and a second arm (6) cantilevered supported by the cabinet (1), located inside the containment space (2) and rotatable about a vertical line (V), the first arm (5) and the second arm (6) in turn supporting the relative rack (9) in a condition in which it can rotate to turn about at least one vertical line (V); at least a second arm (6) of the arms (5,6) is provided with: two component sections (10, 11) which converge at a plug-in articulated joint (12); and control and guide means (13) for coordinating the movement of the first (5) and second (6) arms, designed to allow the shelves (9) to travel along a horizontal trajectory in a variable orientation in their positioning, in order to pass through the entrance (3) of the cabinet (1); said control and guide means (13) comprising two slides (14) and two tracks (16), said two slides (14) being movable with respect to said two tracks, said slides (14) and said tracks (16) being coupled to each other and being effectively positioned between said first arm (5) and said second arm (6); said mechanism (4) being characterized in that said two tracks (16) and said two slides (14) are constantly coupled to each other and in that said tracks are one curve with undulation and comprise three consecutive turns, and in that said two slides (14) are coaxial and are integrally connected to each other, being interposed between two of said tracks (16) on either side and opposite each other; the slide (14) is supported by the structure of the articulated joint (12) and the track (16) is supported by the first arm (5); the length of the three consecutive bends decreases with the movement along the first arm (5) away from the vertical line (V).
7. Mechanism according to claim 6, characterized in that at least one of said rails (16) is provided with a closed end (21, 22) forming the end of the travel of movement of said slide (14) with respect to said rail (16), wherein the transfer takes place between the outward and return movement of said shelves (9) through the access opening (3) of said cabinet (1) and between the inward and return movement.
