Detailed Description
It should be understood that the specific embodiments described herein are merely illustrative of the invention and are not intended to limit the invention.
The invention provides a method for restoring a basic input/output system, which improves the efficiency of restoring and repairing a BIOS area of terminal equipment by realizing the automatic restoration of a BIOS system of the terminal equipment.
As shown in fig. 1, fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of a hardware operating environment of a terminal according to an embodiment of the present invention;
the terminal of the embodiment of the invention can be terminal equipment, and the terminal equipment can be computer equipment.
As shown in fig. 1, the terminal may include: a processor 1001, such as a Central Processing Unit (CPU), a memory 1002, and a communication bus 1003. The communication bus 1003 is used for implementing connection communication between the components in the terminal. The memory 1002 may be a random-access memory (RAM-random-access memory) or a non-volatile memory (non-volatile memory), such as a disk memory. The memory 1002 may alternatively be a storage device separate from the processor 1001.
Those skilled in the art will appreciate that the configuration of the terminal shown in fig. 1 is not intended to be limiting of the terminal of embodiments of the present invention and may include more or less components than those shown, or some components may be combined, or a different arrangement of components.
As shown in fig. 1, a memory 1002, which is a kind of computer storage medium, may include a restoring program of a basic input output system.
In the terminal shown in fig. 1, the processor 1001 may be configured to call a restore program of the bios stored in the memory 1002, and perform the following operations:
when detecting that a terminal device cannot enter a basic input/output system (BIOS) in the starting process, acquiring a recovery file of the BIOS stored in the terminal device;
and restoring the BIOS system according to the restoration file.
Further, the processor 1001 may call a restore program of the bios stored in the memory 1002, and further perform the following operations:
the restoration file is stored in an Extensible Firmware Interface (EFI) system partition of the terminal equipment.
Further, the processor 1001 may call a restore program of the bios stored in the memory 1002, and further perform the following operations:
calling a BIOS (basic input output System) restoring mechanism to acquire the restored file stored in the EFI system partition;
and when the terminal equipment is detected to enter a basic input and output system in the boot process, the BIOS restoring mechanism is forbidden.
Further, the processor 1001 may call a restore program of the bios stored in the memory 1002, and further perform the following operations:
when detecting that the terminal equipment cannot enter a BIOS system in the starting process, accumulating the starting failure times by one;
and executing the step of acquiring the recovery file of the BIOS system stored in the terminal equipment when the boot failure times is detected to be more than or equal to the preset times.
Further, the processor 1001 may call a restore program of the bios stored in the memory 1002, and further perform the following operations:
and controlling the terminal equipment to restart when the startup failure times are detected to be less than the preset times.
Further, the processor 1001 may call a restore program of the bios stored in the memory 1002, and further perform the following operations:
and controlling the terminal equipment to restart and enter the restored BIOS system.
Referring to fig. 2, in an embodiment, the method for restoring the bios includes:
and step S10, when detecting that the terminal equipment can not enter the BIOS in the boot process, acquiring a restore file of the BIOS stored by the terminal equipment.
In this embodiment, the terminal in this embodiment may be a terminal device, and the terminal device may be a computer device, such as a desktop computer, a notebook computer, and the like.
The BIOS is the first software loaded when the terminal device is started, and when the terminal device is running, the BIOS system needs to be entered first. Therefore, whether the terminal equipment can enter the BIOS system in the boot process or not is determined, and whether the terminal equipment can be successfully started or not is determined.
Optionally, during the booting process of the terminal device, it is detected whether the terminal device can enter the BIOS. When detecting that the terminal equipment cannot enter the BIOS system, calling a BIOS restoring mechanism, and acquiring a restoring file of the BIOS system stored on the terminal equipment through the BIOS restoring mechanism; and when the terminal equipment is detected to be capable of entering the BIOS system, the BIOS restoring mechanism is disabled.
The restore file of the BIOS system may be a recovery. It should be understood that different products correspond to BIOS systems whose restore files have names specified within the BIOS.
Alternatively, the restore file may be pre-stored on the terminal device by a user or an engineer. Further, the restore file may be stored in an Extensible Firmware Interface (EFI) system partition of the terminal device, that is, the user or the engineer packs the prepared BIOS restore file in advance into an ESP (EFI system partition) partition of the system image.
It should be noted that the EFI system partition (i.e., ESP partition) is a FAT-formatted disk partition, but its partition identifier is EF (hexadecimal) instead of regular 0E or 0C, so that the partition is not normally visible under the Windows operating system. The UEFI (Unified Extensible firmware interface) firmware may load an EFI initiator or an EFI application from the ESP. EFI is an abbreviation of Extensible firmware interface (Extensible firmware interface), and is an upgrade scheme for replacing BIOS in future pc (personal computer) -like computer systems.
Optionally, after the terminal device enters the BIOS recovery mechanism, at the initial stage of the BIOS system running, the BIOS system may search the EFI system partition for a BIOS recovery file (e.g., recovery.
Optionally, if the terminal device does not obtain the BIOS restore file, the terminal device is controlled to directly power off.
Optionally, if the terminal device acquires the BIOS restore file, step S20 is executed.
And step S20, restoring the BIOS system according to the restoration file.
Optionally, after finding the BIOS restore file, the terminal device updates the content of the restore file to a Read-Only Memory (ROM) of the BIOS system according to the BIOS restore file, so as to restore the BIOS system.
Further, after the terminal device restores the BIOS system on the terminal device, the terminal device is controlled to automatically restart and enter the restored BIOS system, thereby completing normal startup of the terminal device.
In one embodiment, when detecting that a terminal device cannot enter a Basic Input Output System (BIOS) in a starting process, acquiring a restore file of the BIOS stored in the terminal device; and restoring the BIOS system according to the restoration file. Therefore, when the terminal equipment cannot enter the basic input and output system of the BIOS in the starting process, the BIOS system is automatically restored by the terminal equipment, and therefore the efficiency of restoring and repairing the BIOS area of the terminal equipment is improved.
In a second embodiment, as shown in fig. 3, based on the embodiment shown in fig. 2, the method for restoring the bios further includes:
step S11, when it is detected that the terminal device cannot enter the BIOS system during the booting process, the booting failure times are accumulated by one.
Step S12, when it is detected that the number of times of the power failure is greater than or equal to a preset number of times, executing the step of obtaining the restored file of the BIOS system stored in the terminal device.
In this embodiment, in the process of starting up the terminal device, whenever it is detected that the terminal device cannot normally enter the BIOS system, the number of times of failed start-up is added by one.
Further, the terminal device compares the current startup failure times with preset times, and detects whether the startup failure times are greater than or equal to the preset times. The value range of the preset times can be 1 time to 5 times, and can be 2 times or 3 times.
Optionally, when the terminal device detects that the number of times of the power failure is less than the preset number of times, the terminal device is controlled to restart. The reason that the terminal equipment cannot enter the BIOS system in the boot process is not necessarily caused by damage of a certain BIOS area on the terminal equipment, and the situation can be solved by directly restarting the terminal equipment. Therefore, when the terminal device detects that the startup failure times are less than the preset times, the terminal device is controlled to restart, so that the problem that the BIOS system is unnecessarily restored due to misjudgment of damage to the BIOS system can be avoided, and the startup time of the terminal device is saved.
Optionally, when the terminal device detects that the number of times of the power failure is greater than or equal to the preset number of times, it is determined that the BIOS system is damaged (i.e., it is determined that the terminal device cannot enter the BIOS system during the power-on process, which is caused by the damage of the BIOS system). Further, after the terminal device determines that the BIOS system is damaged, the step of obtaining the restore file of the BIOS system stored in the terminal device is executed, and when the restore file is obtained, the BIOS system is restored according to the restore file.
Furthermore, after the terminal device restores the BIOS system, the boot failure times are cleared, and then the terminal device is restarted and enters the restored BIOS system.
Further, if the terminal device cannot acquire the restore file, the recorded boot failure times are also cleared before the terminal device is powered off.
Therefore, when the content of the BIOS partial area is accidentally damaged, the terminal equipment can automatically detect that the BIOS data is damaged and automatically recover and restore the BIOS area.
In one embodiment, when detecting that the terminal equipment cannot enter the BIOS system in the starting process, accumulating the starting failure times by one; and executing the step of acquiring the recovery file of the BIOS system stored in the terminal equipment when the boot failure times is detected to be more than or equal to the preset times. Therefore, the accuracy of judging the damage of the BIOS system is improved, and the problem that the BIOS system is unnecessarily restored due to misjudgment of the damage of the BIOS system is avoided.
In addition, the present invention further provides a terminal device, where the terminal device includes a memory, a processor, and a recovery program of the bios stored in the memory and executable on the processor, and the processor implements the steps of the recovery method of the bios as described in the above embodiment when executing the recovery program of the bios.
Furthermore, the present invention also provides a computer-readable storage medium, which includes a recovery program of the bios, and when the recovery program of the bios is executed by a processor, the steps of the recovery method of the bios according to the above embodiments are implemented.
The above-mentioned serial numbers of the embodiments of the present invention are merely for description and do not represent the merits of the embodiments.
Through the above description of the embodiments, those skilled in the art will clearly understand that the method of the above embodiments can be implemented by software plus a necessary general hardware platform, and certainly can also be implemented by hardware, but in many cases, the former is an alternative embodiment. Based on such understanding, the technical solution of the present invention may be embodied in the form of a software product, which is stored in a storage medium (e.g., ROM/RAM, magnetic disk, optical disk) as described above and includes instructions for enabling a terminal device (e.g., a television, a mobile phone, a computer, a server, an air conditioner, or a network device) to execute the method according to the embodiments of the present invention.
The above description is only an alternative embodiment of the present invention, and not intended to limit the scope of the present invention, and all modifications of equivalent structures and equivalent processes, which are made by using the contents of the present specification and the accompanying drawings, or directly or indirectly applied to other related technical fields, are included in the scope of the present invention.
