Abstract
The invention relates to an anti-foam illuminable throat swab sampling device, which comprises a sleeve and a swab inserted into the sleeve, wherein the swab comprises a handle tail part, a sampling head part, a connecting rod for connecting the handle tail part with the sampling head part, and a sealing cover arranged on the connecting rod and close to the handle tail part, the sealing cover of the swab is detachably connected with an opening of the sleeve, an optical fiber is arranged inside the connecting rod of the swab, one end of the optical fiber is arranged on the sampling head part, and the other end of the optical fiber is arranged on the handle tail part and is connected with a light source arranged on the handle tail part, so that light emitted by the light source is transmitted to the sampling head part through the optical fiber to realize the illuminable of the swab. With the device of the invention, illumination is provided during the pharyngeal swab sampling process; the umbrella-shaped isolation cover can avoid nosocomial infection; meanwhile, the contamination of the hand of the examiner to the swab is reduced.

Currently, a widely used pharyngeal swab consists of a swab and a culture cannula. Detailed Description

As shown in fig. 1 to 3, an embodiment of the anti-droplet illuminable pharyngeal swab sampling device provided by the invention comprises a sleeve 1 and a swab 2 inserted into the sleeve 1, wherein the swab 2 comprises a handle tail part 4, a sampling head part 3, a connecting rod 5 connecting the handle tail part 4 and the sampling head part 3, and a sealing cover 7 arranged on the connecting rod 5 near the handle tail part 4, the sealing cover 7 of the swab 2 is detachably connected with an opening of the sleeve 1, after sampling is finished, the swab 2 is put into the sleeve 1 and is sealed in a rotating way, and the handle tail part 4 is positioned outside the sleeve 1.
As shown in fig. 1-2, the connecting rod 5 of the swab 2 is provided with an optical fiber 6 inside, one end of the optical fiber 6 is disposed on the sampling head 3, and the other end of the optical fiber 6 is disposed on the handle tail 4 and connected to a light source disposed on the handle tail 4, so that light emitted from the light source is transmitted to the sampling head 3 through the optical fiber 6 to illuminate the oropharyngeal structure during sampling of the swab. The connecting rod is preferably a transparent connecting rod.
The handle tail part 4 is provided with a power supply and a switch, the power supply is connected with the light source and the switch, and the power supply and the light source are conducted by controlling the switch.
As shown in fig. 1 to 2, the swab 2 includes an umbrella-shaped shield 8, the umbrella-shaped shield 8 is provided at the handle tail 4, the umbrella-shaped shield 8 is opened to prevent the spread of the spray when the swab 2 is used for sampling, and the umbrella-shaped shield 8 is preferably a transparent umbrella-shaped shield.

The anti-droplet illuminant throat swab sampling device is adopted to provide illumination in the sampling process of the throat swab, so that an inspector can sample more accurately; the umbrella-shaped isolation cover can effectively reduce the number of spray infection inspectors and avoid nosocomial infection; meanwhile, the pollution of the hand of the examiner to the swab is reduced, and the occurrence of false positive is reduced.
