Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of cigarette production, in particular to a double-length cigarette appearance detection device and method.
Background
In the process of processing and producing cigarettes by a cigarette making machine, due to production environment factors, equipment and other reasons, cigarette appearance defects such as dust adding, glue adding, embossed seal printing defects, rolling defects and the like on the surface of a cigarette can occur, so that unqualified cigarettes are formed.
The existing cigarette appearance detection device detects cigarettes when formed cigarettes are packaged. The cigarette appearance detection device has relatively delayed detection time, and the detected unqualified cigarettes have high rejection cost. Moreover, the cigarette appearance detection device needs to monitor the whole process of the formed cigarettes in the transmission rolling process on the transmission belt, and the detection efficiency is low.
Therefore, how to provide a cigarette appearance detection device which can reduce the reject cost of unqualified cigarettes and improve the detection efficiency becomes a technical problem which needs to be solved urgently in the field.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to provide a novel technical scheme of a double-length cigarette appearance detection device, which can reduce the reject cost of unqualified cigarettes and improve the detection efficiency.

Various exemplary embodiments of the present invention will now be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. It should be noted that: the relative arrangement of the components and steps, the numerical expressions and numerical values set forth in these embodiments do not limit the scope of the present invention unless specifically stated otherwise.

Techniques, methods, and apparatus known to those of ordinary skill in the relevant art may not be discussed in detail but are intended to be part of the specification where appropriate.
In all examples shown and discussed herein, any particular value should be construed as merely illustrative, and not limiting. Thus, other examples of the exemplary embodiments may have different values.
As shown in fig. 1, the double-length cigarette appearance detection device of the present disclosure includes a cigarette rotation driving mechanism 1 and a cigarette detection mechanism 2.
The cigarette rotation driving mechanism 1 includes a rotary column 11 and a driving unit 12. The central axis of the rotary column 11 is the same as the extending direction of the central axis of the double-length cigarette transmission drum wheel 01, and the rotary column 11 is positioned above the cigarette receiving side of the double-length cigarette transmission drum wheel 01. When the double-length cigarette transmission drum 01 receives a double-length cigarette 02 from the previous drum, the received double-length cigarette 02 enters or is about to enter the working area of the rotary column 11.
The side surface of the rotary column 11 is contacted with the outer surface of a double-length cigarette 02 adsorbed on the double-length cigarette transmission drum wheel 01. Generally, the contact between the rotary column 11 and the outer surface of the cigarette 02 with double length only needs to satisfy the requirement that the rotary column 11 can push the cigarette 02 with double length. The driving unit 12 is used for driving the rotary column 11 to rotate, so that the rotary column 11 pushes the corresponding double-length cigarette 02 to rotate in the adsorption groove of the double-length cigarette transmission drum 01. The drive unit 12 may be, for example, an electric motor or a motor. Through the rotary motion of the rotary column 11 and the double-length cigarette transmission drum wheel 01, the double-length cigarettes 02 adsorbed on the double-length cigarette transmission drum wheel 01 can rotate, so that different surfaces of the double-length cigarettes 02 can be displayed.

The appearance image of the double-length cigarette 02 collected by the image capturing unit 21 can be transmitted to a control terminal of the cigarette making machine, and the control terminal judges whether the double-length cigarette 02 has appearance defects or not by comparing the collected appearance image of the double-length cigarette 02 with a standard image. If the appearance defect exists, the double-length cigarettes 02 on the double-length cigarette transmission drum 01 can be removed. If no appearance defect exists, the double-length cigarette appearance detection device can continue to perform appearance detection on the next double-length cigarette on the double-length cigarette transmission drum wheel 01. The standard image is the appearance image of the double-length cigarette without appearance defects.
The double-length cigarettes 02 may be removed, for example, by stopping the adsorption of the double-length cigarettes 02 by the adsorption tank in which the double-length cigarettes 02 are adsorbed by the double-length cigarette transmission drum 01, so that the double-length cigarettes 02 are separated from the double-length cigarette transmission drum 01. For another example, the rejecting mechanical arm pushes the double-length cigarette 02 away from the double-length cigarette conveying drum 01.
The appearance of the double-length cigarettes conveyed on the double-length cigarette conveying drum wheel is detected by the double-length cigarette appearance detection device, so that the double-length cigarettes with appearance defects are removed, the cigarettes which are unqualified are prevented from being detected and removed after the cigarettes are integrally formed, the removal cost is reduced, and the detection efficiency is improved.
Because the appearance of the double-length cigarette is detected and the transmission of the double-length cigarette is carried out synchronously, the appearance of the cigarette is detected without additionally increasing the production time of the cigarette, thereby not influencing the production efficiency of the cigarette.
In one embodiment of the double-length cigarette appearance detecting apparatus of the present disclosure, in order to better control the rotation of the double-length cigarette 01 and prevent the double-length cigarette 01 from being separated from the double-length cigarette transmission drum 01 by the thrust of the rotary column 11, the surface area of the bottom surface of the rotary column 11 is less than or equal to 10% of the surface area of the bottom surface of the double-length cigarette transmission drum 01.
In one embodiment of the double-length cigarette appearance detecting apparatus of the present disclosure, a plurality of spacing grooves 110 extending along a direction of a central axis of the rotary column 11 are provided on a side surface of the rotary column 11. The side of the rotary column 11 between adjacent spaced slots 110 is used for pushing the corresponding double-length cigarette 02 to rotate at least 360 degrees in the adsorption slot of the double-length cigarette transmission drum 01. The arrangement of the spacing groove 110 is beneficial to more safely separating the double-length cigarettes 02 on the rotating column 11 and the double-length cigarette transmission drum 01, and effectively preventing the double-length cigarettes 02 on the double-length cigarette transmission drum 01 from being taken away from the adsorption groove by the rotating column 11.
When the rotating column 11 pushes the double-length cigarettes 02 on the double-length cigarette transmission drum 01 to rotate to the spacing groove 110 to be contacted with the double-length cigarettes 02, the double-length cigarettes 02 are separated from the rotating column 11, and the rotating column 11 does not apply acting force on the double-length cigarettes 02 any more.
Further, in order to improve the detection efficiency, three spacing grooves 110 are uniformly distributed on the side surface of the rotary column 11.
In one embodiment of the double-length cigarette appearance detecting apparatus of the present disclosure, in order to better avoid the extrusion deformation of the double-length cigarette 02, the rotating direction of the rotating column 11 is the same as the rotating direction of the double-length cigarette conveying drum 01 (the direction indicated by the arrow in the figure).
In an embodiment of the apparatus for detecting appearance of a cigarette with double length of the present disclosure, the cigarette detection mechanism includes two image capturing units 21. The image capturing ranges of the two image capturing units 21 at least partially overlap. The arrangement of the two image capturing units 21 is beneficial to reducing the misjudgment rate of the appearance defects. In specific implementation, the two image capturing units 21 may be arranged along the length extending direction of the cigarette 02 with double length.
In an embodiment of the double-length cigarette appearance detecting device of the present disclosure, for the purpose of increasing the difficulty of the image quality acquired by the image capturing unit 21, the cigarette detecting mechanism 2 further includes an illuminating unit 22. The lighting unit 22 is used to illuminate the double length cigarette 02 pushed by the rotary column 11. The lighting unit 22 may be, for example, an LED light bead or the like.
In an embodiment of the double-length cigarette appearance detection apparatus of the present disclosure, the cigarette detection mechanism 2 further includes an image processing unit (not shown in the figure). The image processing unit is used for comparing the image acquired by the image acquisition unit 21 with the standard image so as to more quickly detect whether the double-length cigarette has appearance defects. The image processing unit may for example be a processor or the like.
The disclosure also provides a double-length cigarette appearance detection method based on the double-length cigarette appearance detection device, which comprises the following steps:
step S01: it is determined whether a cigarette with double length exists in the image capturing range of the image capturing unit 21. If so, the driving unit 12 drives the rotary column 21 to rotate. If no cigarette with double length exists in the image capturing range of the image capturing unit 21, the driving unit 12 does not drive the rotation column 21 to rotate.
In specific implementation, the rotation speed of the rotary column 21 can be obtained according to the rotation speed of the double-length cigarette transmission drum wheel 01, the diameter of the double-length cigarette 02 and the diameter of the double-length cigarette transmission drum wheel 01. The above acquisition can be realized by inquiring a relation table of the rotation speed of the double-length cigarette transmission drum wheel 01, the diameter of the double-length cigarette 02 and the diameter of the double-length cigarette transmission drum wheel 01.
Step S02: the image capturing unit 21 captures an appearance image of the cigarette 02 of double length pushed by the rotary column 11 during the rotation process.
Step S03: the appearance image acquired by the image capturing unit 21 is compared with the standard image to determine whether the double-length cigarette 02 pushed by the rotary column 11 has an appearance defect. If the double-length cigarette 02 has appearance defects, a rejection signal can be sent out. According to the received rejection signal, the adsorption groove on the double-length cigarette transmission drum wheel 01, which adsorbs the double-length cigarettes 02, stops adsorbing the double-length cigarettes 02, so that the double-length cigarettes 02 are separated from the double-length cigarette transmission drum wheel 01; or the double-length cigarette 02 is pushed away from the double-length cigarette transmission drum 01 by the removing mechanical arm. If the double-length cigarettes 02 have no appearance defects, the double-length cigarettes 02 can be transferred from the double-length cigarette conveying drum 01 to the next process.
According to the double-length cigarette appearance detection method, the appearance of the double-length cigarettes transmitted on the double-length cigarette transmission drum wheel is detected, the double-length cigarettes with appearance defects are removed, the cigarettes which are unqualified are prevented from being detected and removed after the cigarettes are integrally formed, the removal cost is reduced, and the detection efficiency is improved.
In an embodiment of the method for detecting the appearance of the double-length cigarette, in order to improve the removal efficiency, the method for detecting the appearance of the double-length cigarette further includes the following steps:
step S04: if the double-length cigarettes 02 pushed by the rotary column 11 have appearance defects, a rejecting signal for releasing the double-length cigarettes 02 with the appearance defects is sent to the double-length cigarette transmission drum 01.
