Asphalt fumes, a pollutant that can be harmful to the environment and human body, are generated during heating and compounding of asphalt.
At present, the domestic asphalt smoke treatment methods mainly comprise an incineration method, a cooling method, an oil adsorption method, a water spraying and washing method and an activated carbon method. 3. The problem of activated carbon adsorption, activated carbon has strong adsorption capacity to organic pollutants, but has some fatal weaknesses: a) the activated carbon has no capacity of decomposing oily organic matters, and can lose activity quickly once the surface is polluted by oily pollutants.
