电源230将从燃料电池管212输出的电能转换为适当电信号,所述电信号借助总线232输出以向电机214供电。电机214联接到驱动洗涤/干燥桶218旋转的驱动轴234。在一个实施例中,电机214是永磁电机并且使用磁感应联接器联接到驱动轴234。能够驱动洗涤/干燥桶218旋转的任何其它类型的电机均在本发明的范围内。洗涤/干燥桶218是用于旋转要洗涤和干燥的织物物品的负载的带孔滚筒并且位于外滚筒246内。
热交换器216从空气源236接收空气并且从水源238接收水。热交换器216使用从燃料电池管212接收的蒸汽对进入空气进行加热并且在干燥循环期间通过连接器240将加热的空气输出到洗涤/干燥桶218。在洗涤循环期间的适当时间,热交换器216通过连接器242将水输出到混合器250。混合器250也从水源252接收未加热的水。根据特定洗涤循环(例如,热水洗涤/冷水清洗循环)的要求,混合器250将适当温度的水输出到洗涤/干燥桶218。例如,热交换器216使用从燃料电池管212接收的蒸汽对水进行加热,以产生输出到混合器250的热水。如果需要热水,则混合器250将热水输出到洗涤/干燥桶218。如果需要温水,则混合器250将来自热交换器216的热水和来自水源252的冷水混合并且将温水输出到洗涤/干燥桶218。如果需要冷水,则混合器250直接将来自水源252的冷水输出到洗涤/干燥桶218。在另一个实施例中,热交换器216本身执行控制输出道洗涤/干燥桶218的水的温度的功能。
洗衣干衣机系统200有利地包含燃料电池管212,以向电机214提供清洁电力并且提供热以用于洗涤/干燥桶218的洗涤循环和干燥循环。洗衣干衣机系统200的实施例可以实现约60%或更多的能效。虽然图2中示出了燃料电池管,但是其它构型的固体氧化物燃料电池(包含但不限于管状SOFC束和平面SOFC堆叠)也在本发明的范围内。其它类型的燃料电池例如质子交换膜或聚合物交换膜(PEM)燃料电池在本发明的范围内,但是操作温度为约200℃的PEM燃料电池可能不向洗衣干衣机系统200提供与SOFC相同水平的能效。
图3是根据本发明的高效洗衣干衣机系统300的一个实施例的图。洗衣干衣机系统300具有用于洗涤和干燥织物物品的双重操作模式。洗衣干衣机系统300包含但不限于重整器310、燃料电池管312、电源342、电机314、热交换器316、洗涤/干燥桶318、水箱320和滤水器322以及控制单元370。重整器310从燃料源336接收燃料,优选含甲烷天然气,并且通过连接器326从水箱320接收水。重整器310蒸汽将燃料重整形成氢气和一氧化碳,所述氢气和所述一氧化碳通过连接器374输出到燃料电池管312的正极(未示出)。在一个实施例中,燃料电池管312是额定功率为约500W的固体氧化物燃料电池(SOFC)管。燃料电池管312从空气源338接收空气并且使燃料和空气电化学反应产生电能,所述电能输出到电源342。燃料电池管312还产生通过连接器334输出到热交换器316的蒸汽并且产生通过排气口340输出的如二氧化碳等排气。在洗衣干衣机系统300的另一个实施例中,燃料电池管312自行重整燃料,使得不需要重整器310。
电源342将从燃料电池管312输出的电能转换为适当电信号,所述电信号借助总线346输出以向电机314、控制单元370和试剂分配器348供电。当电机314的操作不需要从燃料电池管312输出的电能时(例如,当未进行洗涤或干燥循环时),电源342被配置成产生可以通过连接器344从洗衣干衣机系统300输出的电信号。从连接器344输出的电能可以用于向与洗衣干衣机系统300位于同一场所的其它系统(例如照明设备、HVAC)供电,或者可以输入到电网中。
电机314联接到驱动洗涤/干燥桶318旋转的驱动轴372。在一个实施例中,电机314是永磁电机并且使用磁感应联接器联接到驱动轴372。能够驱动洗涤/干燥桶318旋转的任何其它类型的电机均在本发明的范围内。洗涤/干燥桶318是用于旋转要洗涤和干燥的织物物品的负载的带孔滚筒并且位于外滚筒374内。排气358允许在干燥循环期间从洗涤/干燥桶318输出空气,并且连接器332允许在洗涤循环期间从洗涤/干燥桶318和外部滚筒374排放水。连接器332将洗涤水排放到滤水器322,所述滤水器联接到水箱320以允许重复使用洗涤水。在另一个实施例中,废弃从洗涤/干燥桶318和外滚筒374排放的洗涤水。
热交换器316通过空气过滤器368从空气源366接收空气并且通过连接器328从水箱320接收水。热交换器316使用从燃料电池管312接收的蒸汽对进入空气进行加热并且在干燥循环期间通过连接器362将加热的空气输出到洗涤/干燥桶318。在洗涤循环期间的适当时间,热交换器316通过连接器364将水输出到混合器360。混合器360还通过连接器330从水箱320接收未加热的水。根据特定洗涤循环(例如,热水洗涤/冷水清洗循环或温水洗涤/温水清洗循环)的要求,混合器360将适当温度的水输出到洗涤/干燥桶318。例如,热交换器316使用从燃料电池管312接收的蒸汽对水进行加热,以产生输出到混合器360的热水。如果需要热水,则混合器360将热水输出到洗涤/干燥桶318。如果需要温水,则混合器360将来自热交换器316的热水和来自水箱320的冷水混合并且将温水输出到洗涤/干燥桶318。如果需要冷水,则混合器360直接将来自水箱320的冷水输出到洗涤/干燥桶318。
控制单元370是包含但不限于微处理器的可编程装置,所述微处理器被配置成控制电机314、试剂分配器348和真空354的操作。例如,在一个实施例中,控制单元370是如Raspberry Pi等嵌入式计算装置。控制单元370通过总线350向电机314发送控制信号,以启动、停止和控制洗涤/干燥桶318的旋转速度。控制单元370向试剂分配器348发送控制信号,以控制如去垢剂、漂白剂和织物软化剂等试剂在洗涤循环期间的适当时间到洗涤/干燥桶318的分配。控制单元370向真空354发送控制信号,以控制干燥循环期间洗涤/干燥桶318内的气压。传感器356联接到洗涤/干燥桶318并且通过总线352向控制单元370提供关于水位、温度和气压的信息。控制单元370向混合器360发送控制信号,以根据洗涤循环的当前状态控制热水、温水或冷水到洗涤/干燥桶318的输出。控制单元370还控制干燥循环期间空气到洗涤/干燥桶318的输入以及洗涤循环期间水从洗涤/干燥桶318的排放。用户界面380通过通信链路382与控制单元370通信。用户界面380允许操作者启动和停止洗涤/干燥循环并且选择特定的洗涤/干燥循环(例如,用热水和漂白剂正常洗涤、高温干燥)。用户界面380还使操作者能够观察洗衣干衣机系统300的当前状态信息以及如洗涤/干燥循环总数和能量使用情况等其它信息。在一个实施例中,用户界面380显示在如安装在洗衣干衣机系统300的外壳中的触摸屏等显示装置上。在另一个实施例中,用户界面380是在与控制单元370通信的远程计算机上运行的软件,并且通信链路382是可以是有线的、无线的或组合的网络连接。
滤水器322从外部水源324接收水并且通过连接器332从洗涤/干燥桶318接收洗涤水。通过滤水器322过滤的水存储在水箱320中。在一个实施例中,滤水器322使用活性炭从水中过滤杂质。
洗衣干衣机系统300有利地包含燃料电池管312,以向电机314提供清洁电力并且提供热以用于洗涤/干燥桶318的洗涤循环和干燥循环。洗衣干衣机系统300的实施例可以实现约60%或更多的能效。虽然图3中示出了燃料电池管,但是其它构型的固体氧化物燃料电池(包含但不限于管状SOFC束和平面SOFC堆叠)以及如PEM燃料电池等其它类型的燃料电池也在本发明的范围内。
在另一个实施例中,洗衣干衣机系统300包含第二电机(未示出),所述第二电机由燃料电池管312供电以驱动从热交换器316接收空气和水的第二洗涤/干燥桶(未示出)。在本实施例中,燃料电池管312产生足够的电力以供这两个电机同时操作。
上文已经参考具体实施例描述了本发明。然而,显而易见的是,在不脱离如所附权利要求书中阐述的本发明的更广泛的精神和范围的情况下,可以对本发明进行各种修改和改变。因此,应在说明性而非限制性意义上看待前述描述和附图。
Claims (12)
1.一种系统,其包括:
燃料电池单元,所述燃料电池单元被配置成产生电力和蒸汽;
电机,所述电机被配置成从所述燃料电池单元接收电力;
热交换器,所述热交换器被配置成从所述燃料电池单元接收蒸汽并且被配置成产生加热的空气和加热的水;
可旋转滚筒,所述可旋转滚筒被配置成从所述热交换器接收所述加热的空气和所述加热的水中的至少一种;以及
驱动轴,所述驱动轴联接到所述电机和所述可旋转滚筒。
2.根据权利要求1所述的系统,其进一步包括控制单元,所述控制单元被配置成控制所述电机的操作,使得所述电机使所述驱动轴和所述可旋转滚筒以预定转速旋转。
3.根据权利要求1所述的系统,其中所述燃料电池单元包括至少一个固体氧化物燃料电池管。
4.根据权利要求1所述的系统,其中所述燃料电池单元包括至少一个平面固体氧化物燃料电池。
5.根据权利要求1所述的系统,其中所述燃料电池单元包括至少一个质子交换膜燃料电池。
6.根据权利要求1所述的系统,其进一步包括重整器,所述重整器被配置成将燃料重整成至少氢气以供所述燃料电池单元使用。
7.一种双模式织物处理设备,其包括:
燃料电池单元,所述燃料电池单元被配置成产生电力和蒸汽;
电机,所述电机被配置成从所述燃料电池单元接收电力;
热交换器,所述热交换器被配置成从所述燃料电池单元接收蒸汽并且被配置成产生加热的空气和加热的水;
可旋转滚筒,所述可旋转滚筒被配置成在干燥循环期间从所述热交换器接收所述加热的空气并且在洗涤循环期间从所述热交换器接收所述加热的水;以及
驱动轴,所述驱动轴联接到所述电机和所述可旋转滚筒。
8.根据权利要求7所述的双模式织物处理设备,其进一步包括控制单元,所述控制单元被配置成控制所述电机的操作,使得所述电机使所述驱动轴和所述可旋转滚筒以预定转速旋转。
9.根据权利要求7所述的双模式织物处理设备,其中所述燃料电池单元包括至少一个固体氧化物燃料电池管。
10.根据权利要求7所述的双模式织物处理设备,其中所述燃料电池单元包括至少一个平面固体氧化物燃料电池。
11.根据权利要求7所述的双模式织物处理设备,其中所述燃料电池单元包括至少一个质子交换膜燃料电池。
12.根据权利要求7所述的双模式织物处理设备,其进一步包括重整器,所述重整器被配置成将燃料重整成至少氢气以供所述燃料电池单元使用。
