Preferably, 30 g of bighead atractylodes rhizome, 30 g of astragalus, 30 g of dendrobium, 30 g of hawthorn, 30 g of Chinese yam, 20 g of folium artemisiae argyi, 20 g of calamus, 20 g of medicated leaven, 20 g of rhizoma corydalis, 20 g of asarum, 10 g of radix pseudostellariae and 10 g of honey-fried licorice root.

1) grinding Atractylodis rhizoma, radix astragali, herba Dendrobii, fructus crataegi, rhizoma Dioscoreae, folium Artemisiae Argyi, rhizoma Acori Calami, Massa Medicata Fermentata, rhizoma corydalis, herba asari, radix Pseudostellariae, and radix Glycyrrhizae Preparata into fine powder;
2) adding appropriate amount of white vaseline into the fine powder obtained in the step 1, and preparing the ointment of the formula for external application on Guanyuan acupoint, Mingmen acupoint, Qihai acupoint and Zhongwan acupoint for 5 minutes by slow fire.
The main components are explained below:
white atractylodes rhizome: invigorate spleen, replenish qi, dry dampness, induce diuresis, stop sweating, prevent abortion. Can be used for treating spleen deficiency, anorexia, abdominal distention, diarrhea, phlegm retention, dizziness, palpitation, edema, spontaneous perspiration, and threatened abortion
Astragalus root: tonify qi, strengthen superficies, expel toxin, expel pus, induce diuresis, and promote granulation. Can be used for treating deficiency of vital energy, asthenia, chronic diarrhea, proctoptosis, spontaneous perspiration, edema, prolapse of nasal mucosa and nasal mucosa, chronic nephritis, albuminuria, diabetes, and unhealed wound.
Dendrobe: nourishing yin, clearing away heat, moistening lung, nourishing stomach, strengthening tendons and bones. It can be used for treating febrile disease, impairment of body fluid, dry mouth, polydipsia, gastralgia, retching, cough, and little phlegm.
Hawthorn fruit: has effects of resolving food stagnation, activating qi-flowing and removing blood stasis. It can be used for treating food stagnation, dysentery, abdominal pain, hernia pain, chest pain due to blood stasis, and dysmenorrhea.
Chinese yam: to invigorate the spleen, tonify the lung, strengthen the kidney and replenish vital essence. Treating diarrhea due to spleen deficiency, chronic dysentery, cough due to asthenia, diabetes, nocturnal emission, leukorrhagia, frequent micturition
Folium artemisiae argyi: has effects of warming channels, stopping bleeding, dispelling cold, relieving pain, eliminating dampness, and relieving itching. It can be used for treating hematemesis, epistaxis, hemoptysis, hematochezia, metrorrhagia, gestational hemorrhage, menoxenia, dysmenorrhea, threatened abortion, psychroalgia of heart and abdomen, diarrhea, dysentery, cholera, spasm of muscle, leukorrhagia, eczema, scabies, tinea, hemorrhoid, and carbuncle.
Calamus: inducing resuscitation, eliminating phlegm, regulating qi-flowing, promoting blood circulation, dispelling pathogenic wind, and eliminating dampness. It can be used for treating epilepsy, phlegm syncope, fever, coma, amnesia, qi block, deafness, vexation, gastralgia, abdominal pain, arthralgia due to wind-cold-dampness, superficial infection, toxic swelling, and traumatic injury.
Massa Medicata Fermentata has effects of invigorating spleen, regulating stomach function, resolving food stagnation, and regulating middle warmer. Can be used for treating weakness of spleen and stomach, diet stagnation, chest distress, abdominal distention, infantile dyspepsia, etc.
Rhizoma corydalis: promoting blood circulation; dissipating blood stasis; regulating the flow of qi; can be used for relieving pain. Pain in the heart, abdomen, waist and knees; menoxenia; (iii) a symptom; collapse; postpartum anemic fainting; the lochiorrhea is endless; traumatic injury.
Asarum: has effects of relieving exterior syndrome, dispelling cold, dispelling pathogenic wind, relieving pain, dredging orifice, warming lung, and eliminating phlegm. It can be used for treating wind-cold type common cold, headache, toothache, rheumatalgia, nasosinusitis, and cough due to lung cold.
Radix pseudostellariae: to replenish qi, invigorate the spleen, promote the production of body fluid and moisten the lung. Can be used for treating spleen deficiency, asthenia, anorexia, spontaneous perspiration, thirst, lung dryness, and dry cough
Honey-fried licorice root: has antiinflammatory, antiallergic, immunity regulating, antitumor, and analgesic effects. Can be used for treating weakness of the spleen and the stomach, lassitude and hypodynamia, palpitation, intermittent pulse and the like
