Abstract

在一种光网络中,一个网络设备给另外一个网络设备发送一个光传送网(OTN)帧,该OTN帧的开销区携带时延测量开销,该开销包括一个时间戳。所述另外一个网络设备接收到所述OTN帧后,根据所述OTN帧包含的时间戳以及收到所述OTN帧的时间来计算从所述一个网络设备到另外一个网络设备的传输时延。可选地,另外一个网络设备还可以发送另一个OTN帧给所述网络设备,该另一个OTN帧包含一个或多个时间戳信息。所述网络设备可以根据该另一个OTN帧包含的时间戳信息以及收到该OTN帧的时间,确定两个设备之间的单向传输时延和双向传输时延的一个或多个。通过本申请提供的方案,可支持多种类型的时延测量并实现更高精度的时延测量。
