The door inner engagement lip 57a and the door outer engagement lip 57b have a window frame side lip region 58 that faces the door inner window frame end surface 37a and the door outer window frame end surface 37b, respectively, and a door window side lip region 59 that does not face the door inner window frame end surface 37a and the door outer window frame end surface 37 b. A hollow 60 is provided between the sash side lip region 58 and the door window side lip region 59 of the door inner engagement lip 57a and the door outer engagement lip 57b, respectively. The reveal region 58 is formed in a thinner-walled shape than the door reveal region 59.
An outer wall portion 61 extending from an inner end portion of the door toward the window frame portion 33 is provided on the inner side of the door inner engagement lip 57 a. A groove-like recess 62 that opens to the window frame 33 is formed between the door inner glass run side wall portion 52a and the outer wall portion 61 of the glass run main body 50. In a state where the glass run is mounted, the door inner engagement plate portion 35a is engaged with the groove-like recess 62 from the window frame portion 33 side. The depth of the groove-like recess 62 is substantially the same as the protruding height of the door inner engagement plate portion 35 a. In the present embodiment, the outer wall portion 61 extending from the door inner end portion to the window frame portion 33 side is provided on the door inner side of the door inner side engagement lip portion 57a, but the present invention is not limited to this. For example, as shown in fig. 5, the constitution may be: a door inner sash end face 71a extending toward the door inner side is provided at the front end edge portion on the door window portion 4 side of the door inner engagement plate portion 70a, and a door inner engagement lip 73a extends toward the door inner side from each front end edge portion on the door window portion 4 side of the door inner glass run side wall portion 72a, and the door inner sash side lip region 74a is pressed by the door inner sash end face 71a in a state where the glass run is mounted, and is elastically deformed.
In the state where the glass run is mounted, the fitting protrusion 53 extends linearly along the fitting recess 34, the door inner glass run side wall portion 52a and the door outer glass run side wall portion 52b divide the glass entry recess 54, the door inner sash side lip region 58a is pressed by the door inner sash end surface 37a to be elastically deformed, and the door outer sash side lip region 58b is pressed by the door outer sash end surface 37b to be elastically deformed. The door-outside door-window-side lip region 59b is connected to the vehicle-outside side surface of the vehicle-outside side plate portion in a state where the glass run is mounted.
In the glass run channel 8 configured as described above, the error range of the manufacturing error of the window frame portion 33 and the glass run channel 8 is set so that the longest dimension (maximum height) of the door inner side glass run channel side wall portion 52a and the door outer side glass run channel side wall portion 52b is equal to or smaller than the shortest dimension (minimum height) of the door inner side window frame inner surface 36a and the door outer side window frame inner surface 36b in the pressing direction of the glass run channel 8. Therefore, in the state where the glass run is mounted, the door inner engagement lip 57a and the door outer engagement lip 57b are reliably in contact with the door inner sash end surface 37a and the door outer sash end surface 37b, and therefore, the sealing performance can be ensured.
By setting the error range as described above, the height of the door inner sash inner surface 36a is excessively high with respect to the height of the door inner glass run channel side wall portion 52a, and there is a possibility that the protruding height of the door inner sash end surface 37a becomes excessively high. Even when the protruding height of the door inner sash end surface 37a is excessively large, the door inner engagement lip 57a is formed in a hollow shape, and the door inner sash side lip region 58a is formed in a thin-walled shape thinner than the door inner door sash side lip region 59a, so that the door inner sash side lip region 58a flexibly and elastically deforms in a state in which the elastic deformation of the door inner door sash side lip region 59a is suppressed, and the protruding of the door inner sash end surface 37a can be satisfactorily absorbed.
Therefore, the door inner engagement lip 57a and the door outer engagement lip 57b can be prevented from being bent and curled up from the front end portions of the door inner glass run channel side wall portion 52a and the door outer glass run channel side wall portion 52b, which results in a decrease in sealing performance or a decrease in aesthetic appearance.
The door inner and door outer sash side lip regions 58a, 58b in which the glass run is mounted are pressed by the door inner side sash end surface 37a and the door outer side sash end surface 37b to be elastically deformed. That is, even when the door inner glass run side wall portion 52a and the door outer glass run side wall portion 52b have the maximum height within the error range and the door inner sash inner side surface 36a and the door outer sash inner side surface 36b have the minimum height within the error range, the door inner engagement lip 57a and the door outer engagement lip 57b are in contact with the door inner sash end surface 37a and the door outer sash end surface 37 b. Therefore, the space between the door inner engagement lip 57a and the door outer engagement lip 57b and the door inner sash end surface 37a and the door outer sash end surface 37b can be sealed more reliably, and the sealing performance can be improved.
In the present embodiment, the structure illustrated is as follows: the sash-side lip region 58 and the door-window-side lip region 59 are provided to the door inner engagement lip 57a and the door outer engagement lip 57b, respectively, but the present invention is not limited thereto, and any configuration may be employed as long as the sash-side lip region 58 and the door-window-side lip region 59 are provided to at least one of the door inner engagement lip 57a and the door outer engagement lip 57 b.
In the present embodiment, the structure illustrated is as follows: in the state where the glass run is mounted, the door inner and outer sash side lip regions 58a, 58b provided on the door inner and outer side of the door inner and outer engaging lips 57a, 57b are pressed by the door inner and outer sash end faces 37a, 37b to be elastically deformed, but the present invention is not limited thereto. For example, in a state where the glass run is mounted, the door inner and outer sash side lip regions 58a, 58b provided on the door inner and outer sides of the door inner and outer engagement lips 57a, 57b may be configured not to be pressed and contacted by the door inner and outer sash end faces 37a, 37 b.

Claims (2)

1. A glass run, which is an elastic body mounted from a door window side on a window frame fixedly provided with respect to a vehicle door, the window frame having: the first window frame inner surface and the second window frame inner surface are separated and opposed in the door width direction so as to divide an engagement recess opening along a door window opening of a door of the vehicle; and a first window frame end surface and a second window frame end surface extending in a direction away from each other from respective front edge portions of a door-window side of the first window frame inner surface and the second window frame inner surface, respectively, the glass run comprising:
a glass run main body integrally having a first glass run side wall portion and a second glass run side wall portion which are opposed to and separated from each other, the fitting recess portion fitted into the window frame from the door/window side in a posture in which the first glass run side wall portion and the second glass run side wall portion are opposed to the first window frame inner side surface and the second window frame inner side surface, respectively, and
a first lip portion and a second lip portion extending in a direction away from each other from each front end edge portion of the door side of the first glass run side wall portion and the second glass run side wall portion, respectively;
in a state where the glass run main body is fitted to the fitted glass run of the fitting recess portion, the first glass run side wall portion and the second glass run side wall portion are divided into glass entry grooves that open to the door window side and allow entry of a peripheral edge portion of a window glass, the first lip portion and the second lip portion are opposed to the first window frame end face and the second window frame end face, respectively,
at least one of the first lip and the second lip includes a window frame side lip region that contacts a corresponding window frame end surface, and a door window side lip region that does not contact a corresponding window frame end surface, the window frame side lip region and the door window side lip region being formed in a hollow shape with a hollow portion interposed therebetween,
the window frame side lip region is formed in a thin-walled shape thinner than the door window side lip region, and is flexibly and elastically deformable.
2. The glass run according to claim 1, wherein,
the window frame side lip region in the state of the mounted glass run is pressed by the first window frame end face and/or the second window frame end face to be elastically deformed.
