Background
The thermostat is a valve that controls a flow path of the cooling fluid. Is a thermostat, usually comprising a temperature sensing element that opens and closes the flow of air, gas or liquid by thermal expansion or contraction. The thermostat automatically regulates the water amount entering the radiator according to the temperature of cooling water, changes the circulation range of water to regulate the heat dissipating capacity of the cooling system and ensure that the engine works in a proper temperature range. The thermostat must maintain good state of technology or otherwise seriously affect the normal operation of the engine. If the main valve of the thermostat is opened too late, the engine is overheated; if the main valve is opened too early, the preheating time of the engine is prolonged, and the temperature of the engine is too low.
In summary, the thermostat functions to keep the engine from being too cold. For example, after the engine is normally operated, the temperature of the engine may be too low without the thermostat during winter cranking. At this time, the engine needs to temporarily end the water not to circulate to ensure that the engine temperature is not too low. The thermostat commonly used in automobile engine mainly has three types, namely folding type, wax type and bimetal thermocouple type. The thermostat mainly used is a wax thermostat, when the cooling temperature is lower than a specified value, the refined paraffin in the thermostat temperature sensing body is in a solid state, the thermostat valve closes a channel between the engine and a radiator under the action of a spring, and the cooling liquid returns to the engine through a water pump to perform small circulation in the engine. When the temperature of the cooling liquid reaches a specified value, the paraffin begins to melt and gradually becomes liquid, the volume is increased along with the melting of the paraffin, and the rubber tube is pressed to shrink. When the rubber tube contracts, the rubber tube acts on the push rod with upward thrust, and the push rod pushes the valve downwards to open the valve. At this time, the cooling liquid flows back to the engine through the radiator and the thermostat valve and then through the water pump to perform large circulation.
The wax type thermostat valve generally comprises a valve core consisting of a copper cup, a wax pill, a rubber sleeve, a copper cap and a needle tip, and a valve, a flange, a spring and a base are arranged to finally form the thermostat valve.
Chinese patent CN201711066473.1 discloses a tool and method for keeping a wax thermostat fully open, and the structure of the mentioned wax thermostat valve is similar to this. However, the automatic assembly technology of the existing thermostat valve is not mature, and simple and effective automatic assembly equipment is lacked.
Disclosure of Invention
The technical problem to be solved by the invention is to provide automatic assembling equipment for the automobile thermostat, and the technical scheme solves the problems and has the advantages of high assembling efficiency, labor saving, accurate positioning, good finished product quality, simple structure and cost saving.
In order to solve the technical problems, the invention provides the following technical scheme:

Compared with the prior art, the invention has the beneficial effects that:
the parts assembled by the scheme comprise a valve core main body, a base, a spring and a flange, wherein the valve core main body is provided with a valve, the protruding parts on two sides of the flange are required to be extruded inwards, two protruding lugs extending out of a through groove in the top of the flange are required to be riveted after the base and the flange are installed, and finally, the blanking of the finished automobile thermostat is finished.
The riveting mechanism is a riveting machine, the frame provides support for the equipment main body, and each mounting seat moving mechanism on the index plate mechanism corresponds to each station. The controller drives the base feeding mechanism to place the base into the mounting seat moving mechanism of the first station, and the gap of the mounting seat moving mechanism is large at the moment, so that the base can conveniently enter.
The controller drives the base to move towards the second station by controlling the index plate mechanism, and in the process, the part of the mounting seat moving mechanism, which moves along with the index plate mechanism, is contacted with the part of the mounting seat moving mechanism, which is static relative to the index plate mechanism, so that the gap of the mounting seat moving mechanism is reduced, and the base is clamped to play a good positioning role. The controller puts the spring into the middle concave part of the base through the driving spring feeding mechanism.
The controller drives the base on which the spring is placed to move to the third station by controlling the index plate mechanism. At this time, the controller inserts the valve core body with the valve installed into the spring by driving the valve core body feeding mechanism.
The controller drives the workpiece to move to the fourth station by controlling the index plate mechanism. The controller then mounts the flange to the workpiece by controlling the flange mounting mechanism, with the pair of slots above the flange passing through the boss at the top of the base, and with the bottom of the flange supported by the lateral boss at the top of the base to be secured to the base, with only one degree of freedom in the vertical direction.
The controller drives the workpiece to move to the fifth station by controlling the index plate mechanism. And then the controller drives the riveting mechanism to rivet the protrusion at the top end of the base extending out of the top of the flange, so that the protrusion deforms and expands towards the periphery, and further the protrusion is pressed on the top of the flange, so that the flange is completely fixed on the base, and the thermostat is automatically assembled.
The controller drives the thermostat which is installed to move to the fifth station by controlling the index plate mechanism, and the movable mechanism of the installation seat is released by the compression of the fixed connection part of the movable mechanism and the rack in the process so as to release the clamping state from the bottom. And then the controller takes the thermostat off from the index plate mechanism by controlling the blanking mechanism to finish automatic blanking.
All the procedures are completed, and the purpose of automatically assembling the automobile thermostat is achieved.

The controller drives the workpiece to move to the fourth station by controlling the index plate mechanism 2. The controller then mounts the flange to the workpiece by controlling the flange mounting mechanism 7, with a pair of slots above the flange passing through the boss at the top of the base, while the bottom of the flange is supported by the lateral boss at the top of the base and is thereby fixed to the base, with only one degree of freedom in the vertical direction.

And then the controller drives the riveting mechanism 8 to rivet the protrusion at the top end of the base extending out of the top of the flange, so that the protrusion deforms and expands towards the periphery, and further the protrusion is pressed on the top of the flange, so that the flange is completely fixed on the base, and the thermostat is automatically assembled.
The controller drives the thermostat which is installed to move to a fifth station by controlling the index plate mechanism 2, and the movable mechanism 3 of the installation seat is released by the compression of the fixed connection part of the movable mechanism and the rack 1 in the process so as to release the clamping state from the bottom. Then the controller takes the thermostat off the dividing plate mechanism 2 by controlling the blanking mechanism 9 to complete automatic blanking.
All the procedures are completed, and the purpose of automatically assembling the automobile thermostat is achieved.
The index plate mechanism 2 comprises an index plate 2a, a six-station workbench 2b and a station through groove 2 c; graduated disk 2a fixed mounting is in frame 1, six station workstations 2b are rotatable to be installed on graduated disk 2a, the station leads to groove 2c around six station workstations 2b axis evenly distributed on six station workstations 2b, the station leads to one side and the 3 fixed connection of mount pad moving mechanism of groove 2c, the station leads to groove 2c opposite side and the movable part sliding connection of mount pad moving mechanism 3, the station leads to groove 2c, graduated disk 2a is connected with the controller electricity.
The controller controls the index plate 2a to enable the six-station workbench 2b to rotate according to a preset angle and speed so as to drive the mounting seat moving mechanism 3 and the workpiece placed in the mounting seat moving mechanism 3 to circularly complete each process among the stations. The shape of the through slot 2c enables the mount moving mechanism 3 to displace relatively within it so as to clamp the thermostat base.
The mounting seat moving mechanism 3 comprises a mounting seat fixing part 3a, a mounting seat moving part 3b, a first guide rod 3c, a first reset spring 3d, a pushing arc-shaped plate 3e and a roller 3 f; the mounting seat fixing part 3a and the mounting seat moving part 3b are oppositely arranged, a cavity matched with the thermostat base in shape is reserved between the mounting seat fixing part 3a and the mounting seat moving part 3b, the mounting seat fixing part 3a is fixedly arranged on the dividing plate mechanism 2, the mounting seat moving part 3b is in sliding connection with the dividing plate mechanism 2, the first guide rods 3c are symmetrically and fixedly connected with the mounting seat moving part 3b, the first guide rods 3c are vertical to the surface of the mounting seat moving part 3b facing the mounting seat fixing part 3a, the other ends of the first guide rods 3c are in clearance fit with the mounting seat fixing part 3a, the first reset springs 3d are sleeved on the first guide rods 3c and are arranged between the mounting seat fixing part 3a and the mounting seat moving part 3b, the material pushing arc-shaped plate 3e is arranged around the dividing plate mechanism 2, the bottom of the material pushing arc-shaped plate 3e is fixedly connected with the machine frame 1, the base feeding mechanism 4 and the blanking mechanism 9 are positioned at the opening of the material pushing arc-shaped, the rollers 3f are rotatably arranged on one surface, facing the pushing arc-shaped plate 3e, of the mounting seat movable part 3b, the rotating direction of the rollers 3f is arranged along the arc surface of the pushing arc-shaped plate 3e, and the input end of the pushing arc-shaped plate 3e is of an arc structure.
When the thermostat base is put in by the mounting seat moving mechanism 3, a certain gap is formed between the mounting seat fixing part 3a and the mounting seat moving part 3b under the action force of the first return spring 3d, so that the thermostat base is convenient to put in. Then, when the index plate mechanism 2 drives the mounting seat moving mechanism 3 to rotate together, the idler wheel 3f on the mounting seat moving part 3b contacts with the arc surface of the pushing arc plate 3e and gradually approaches the mounting seat fixing part 3a along the axis of the first guide rod 3c so as to clamp the thermostat base. The roller 3f converts sliding friction force into rolling friction force, so that abrasion of the mounting seat movable part 3b and the pushing arc-shaped plate 3e during relative movement is avoided, and the overall service life of the equipment is further prolonged.
The base feeding mechanism 4 comprises a first vibration feeding assembly 4a, a first finger cylinder 4b and a base clamping jaw 4 c; first vibration material loading subassembly 4a sets up in graduated disk mechanism 2's first station department, first vibration material loading subassembly 4a direction of motion is along vertical direction and along the radial setting of graduated disk mechanism 2, first finger cylinder 4b fixed mounting is on first vibration material loading subassembly 4 a's movable part, base clamping jaw 4c sets up the tip at first finger cylinder 4b in opposite directions, base clamping jaw 4c has the claw form below stretching into the horizontal protruding both sides in thermostat upper end and carries the hook, first vibration material loading subassembly 4a and first finger cylinder 4b are connected with the controller electricity, first vibration material loading subassembly 4a and spring material loading mechanism 5, flange installation mechanism 7's material loading subassembly structure is identical.

The spring feeding mechanism 5 comprises a second vibration feeding assembly 5a, a first three-jaw cylinder 5b and a spring clamping jaw 5 c; the second vibration feeding assembly 5a is arranged at a second station of the index plate mechanism 2, the moving direction of the second vibration feeding assembly 5a is arranged along the vertical direction and along the radial direction of the index plate mechanism 2, the first three-jaw cylinder 5b is fixedly arranged on the movable part of the first three-jaw cylinder 5b, the spring clamping jaw 5c is fixedly connected with the end part of the first three-jaw cylinder 5b, the bottom of the spring clamping jaw 5c is provided with an inward arc bulge, and the second vibration feeding assembly 5a and the first three-jaw cylinder 5b are electrically connected with the controller.
The second vibration feeding assembly 5a has the same structure principle with other station feeding assemblies, and is not described in detail herein. The controller drives the first three-jaw cylinder 5b to drive the spring clamping jaw 5c to place the spring into the cavity of the thermostat base through the second vibration feeding assembly 5 a. The bulge at the bottom of the spring clamping jaw 5c is beneficial to clamping in the spring gap, so that the spring can be clamped conveniently, and the spring is prevented from sliding down midway.
The valve core main body feeding mechanism 6 comprises an industrial robot 6a, a second three-jaw cylinder 6b and a valve core main body clamping jaw 6 c; the industrial robot 6a is arranged at a third station of the index plate mechanism 2, the second three-jaw cylinder 6b is fixedly arranged at the end part of the industrial robot 6a, the valve core body clamping jaw 6c is fixedly arranged at the end part of the second three-jaw cylinder 6b, the lower end of the valve core body clamping jaw 6c is a sunken part matched with the shape of the edge of the valve at the position of the maximum diameter on the valve core, and the industrial robot 6a and the second three-jaw cylinder 6b are electrically connected with the controller.
The industrial robot 6a is a six-axis industrial robot; the controller automatically loads the third station through the robot, and the valve core main body clamping jaw 6c is driven by controlling the second three-jaw cylinder 6b to place the valve core main body provided with the valve inside the spring.
The flange mounting mechanism 7 comprises a third vibration feeding assembly 7a, a first bidirectional screw rod sliding table 7b and a first flange clamping jaw 7 c; the third vibration feeding assembly 7a is fixedly installed at a fourth station of the index plate mechanism 2, the first bidirectional screw rod sliding table 7b is fixedly installed on a movable part of the third vibration feeding assembly 7a, the first flange clamping jaws 7c are oppositely arranged on two sliding blocks of the first bidirectional screw rod sliding table 7b, the third vibration feeding assembly 7a and the first bidirectional screw rod sliding table 7b are electrically connected with the controller, the first flange clamping jaws 7c are identical to a clamping part structure of the blanking mechanism 9, the first flange clamping jaws 7c are structures matched with the flange handle structure, and the third vibration feeding assembly 7a and the first bidirectional screw rod sliding table 7b are electrically connected with the controller.
The controller moves the first bidirectional screw sliding table 7b in the vertical direction and in the radial direction of the index plate mechanism 2 through the third vibrating feeding assembly 7 a. The controller drives the first bidirectional screw rod sliding table 7b to synchronously enable the two sliding blocks of the first bidirectional screw rod sliding table 7b to be close to or far away from each other, so that the first flange clamping jaw 7c is driven to be close to or far away from each other. The first flange jaw 7c is approached by first clamping it with its active portion against the ring below the flange handle and then fitting it to the top end of the base. As the first flange jaws 7c continue to move closer together, the movable portions thereof are compressed, and the fixed portions thereof move closer together to push the ears on both sides of the flange handle inwardly against the top end of the valve core for further fixation.
The first flange clamping jaw 7c comprises a clamping jaw fixing part 7c1, a clamping jaw moving part 7c2, a second guide rod 7c3 and a second return spring 7c 4; the clamping jaw fixing portion 7c1 is in clearance fit with the clamping jaw movable portion 7c2, the clamping jaw fixing portion 7c1 is fixedly connected with a first bidirectional screw rod sliding table 7b sliding block, a clamping jaw fixing portion 7c1 structure is matched with the outer wall of a ring below the flange lifting handle, a clamping jaw movable portion 7c2 structure is matched with the side wall of the lifting handle and the clearance between the lifting handle and the ring below, a clamping jaw movable portion 7c2 is fixedly connected with a second guide rod 7c3, the second guide rod 7c3 is symmetrically arranged on the clamping jaw movable portion 7c2, the other end of the second guide rod 7c3 is in clearance fit with the clamping jaw movable portion 7c2, and a second reset spring 7c4 is sleeved on the second guide rod 7c3 and is arranged between the clamping jaw fixing portion 7c1 and the clamping jaw movable portion 7c 2.
When the first bidirectional screw rod sliding table 7b brings the pair of first flange clamping jaws 7c to approach each other, firstly, the two clamping jaw movable parts 7c2 respectively abut against and are fixed on a circular ring below the flange lifting handle, and then the first flange clamping jaws 7c carry and place the flange on the thermostat base. Then, as the first flange jaws 7c continue to approach each other, the jaw movable portion 7c2 is urged to move toward the jaw fixing portion 7c1 along the axial direction of the second guide rod 7c3, and the second return spring 7c4 is compressed. When the clamping is released, the second return spring 7c4 pushes the clamping jaw movable part 7c2 to return.
The blanking mechanism 9 comprises a second mechanical arm 9a, a second bidirectional screw rod sliding table 9b and a second flange clamping jaw 9 c; the second mechanical arm 9a is arranged at a sixth station of the index plate mechanism 2, the second mechanical arm 9a has two vertical moving directions along the radial direction of the index plate mechanism 2, a second bidirectional screw rod sliding table 9b is fixedly arranged at the movable end of the second mechanical arm 9a, a second flange clamping jaw 9c is oppositely arranged on a sliding block of the second bidirectional screw rod sliding table 9b, the structure of the second flange clamping jaw 9c is the same as that of a clamping part of the flange mounting mechanism 7, and the second mechanical arm 9a and the second bidirectional screw rod sliding table 9b are electrically connected with the controller.
The controller carries the second bidirectional screw rod sliding table 9b through the second mechanical arm 9a, and the controller drives the second flange clamping jaws 9c to move close to or away from each other by controlling the second bidirectional screw rod sliding table 9 b. The assembled thermostat is removed from the indexing disk mechanism 2 when the second flange jaws 9c are brought closer together.
The working principle of the invention is as follows:
the parts assembled by the scheme comprise a valve core main body, a base, a spring and a flange, wherein the valve core main body is provided with a valve, the protruding parts on two sides of the flange are required to be extruded inwards, two protruding lugs extending out of a through groove in the top of the flange are required to be riveted after the base and the flange are installed, and finally, the blanking of the finished automobile thermostat is finished.
Riveting mechanism 8 is the riveter, and frame 1 all corresponds every station for the equipment principal provides the support, every mount pad moving mechanism 3 on the graduated disk mechanism 2. The controller drives the base feeding mechanism 4 to place the base into the mounting seat moving mechanism 3 of the first station, and the gap of the mounting seat moving mechanism 3 is large at the moment, so that the base can conveniently enter.
The controller drives the base to move towards the second station by controlling the index plate mechanism 2, and in the process, the part of the mounting seat moving mechanism 3 moving along with the index plate mechanism 2 is contacted with the part of the mounting seat moving mechanism 3 static relative to the index plate mechanism 2, so that the gap of the mounting seat moving mechanism 3 is reduced, and the base is clamped to play a good positioning role. The controller puts the spring into the middle concave part of the base by driving the spring feeding mechanism 5.
The controller drives the base on which the spring is placed to move to the third station by controlling the index plate mechanism 2. At this time, the controller inserts the valve body, to which the shutter has been mounted, into the spring by driving the valve body feed mechanism 6.
The controller drives the workpiece to move to the fourth station by controlling the index plate mechanism 2. The controller then mounts the flange to the workpiece by controlling the flange mounting mechanism 7, with a pair of slots above the flange passing through the boss at the top of the base, while the bottom of the flange is supported by the lateral boss at the top of the base and is thereby fixed to the base, with only one degree of freedom in the vertical direction.
The controller drives the workpiece to move to the fifth station by controlling the index plate mechanism 2. And then the controller drives the riveting mechanism 8 to rivet the protrusion at the top end of the base extending out of the top of the flange, so that the protrusion deforms and expands towards the periphery, and further the protrusion is pressed on the top of the flange, so that the flange is completely fixed on the base, and the thermostat is automatically assembled.
The controller drives the thermostat which is installed to move to a fifth station by controlling the index plate mechanism 2, and the movable mechanism 3 of the installation seat is released by the compression of the fixed connection part of the movable mechanism and the rack 1 in the process so as to release the clamping state from the bottom. Then the controller takes the thermostat off the dividing plate mechanism 2 by controlling the blanking mechanism 9 to complete automatic blanking.
All the procedures are completed, and the purpose of automatically assembling the automobile thermostat is achieved.
