Description

Granules for absorbing animal urine and preparation method and application thereof
Technical Field
The application relates to the field of medical detection, in particular to particles for absorbing animal urine and a preparation method and application thereof.
Background
The pH of animal urine can reflect many potential diseases. Clinically, the initial diagnosis of the disease condition is usually made by using the data of animal urine. However, there are the following problems: 1) the point and time of urination by the animal is unknown, and it is difficult to require the animal to urinate in an unfamiliar location; 2) the pH of the animal urine is detected by using an instrument, so that the detection is not only troublesome, but also high in cost; 3) the use of pH paper for urine measurement requires waiting for fresh urine data, and if the urine is exposed to air for a long time, the pH of the urine will change. Based on the above problems, a product which is convenient to collect, high in sensitivity and low in cost is urgently needed.
Disclosure of Invention
In order to achieve the above object, according to one aspect of the present application, there is provided a particle for absorbing urine of an animal, the particle comprising a pH indicator and a water-absorbing particle, the pH indicator being capable of developing a color on the water-absorbing particle.
The pH color reaction is a reaction with reduced entropy, so that the reaction result is not easily interfered by the external environment.
Preferably, the pH indicator is selected from at least one of an acidic indicator and a basic indicator.
Preferably, the pH indicator is selected from at least one of methyl red, bromocresol green and bromothymol blue.
The indicators are not limited to methyl red, bromocresol green and bromothymol blue, any substance which changes color according to pH change can be used as the indicator, and the three indicators provided by the invention are common indicators which are more accurate and sensitive.
Preferably, the pH indicator is a mixture of methyl red, bromocresol green and bromothymol blue, wherein the weight ratio of methyl red, bromocresol green and bromothymol blue is (3-50): (0.5-20): (1-20).
Preferably, the water-absorbing particles are transparent or white particles having water absorption property, and preferably, the water-absorbing particles are at least one selected from silica gel and water-absorbing resin.
Another aspect of the present invention relates to a method for preparing said particles for absorbing animal urine, characterized in that it comprises the following steps:
adding 0.03-0.7% of acid-base indicator into the ethanol water solution to prepare indicator solution;
uniformly mixing the prepared indicator solution with the water-absorbing particles;
the mixing is carried out by adding indicator solution into the water-absorbing particles until the particles are submerged.
And (4) fully absorbing the indicator solution by the water-absorbing particles, and then air-drying to obtain the product.
Preferably, the ethanol concentration of the ethanol aqueous solution is 50-80%.
Another aspect of the invention relates to a litter comprising the particles for absorbing animal urine according to any one of claims 1-5.
Preferably, the cat litter also comprises other water-absorbing materials, wherein the other water-absorbing materials comprise silica gel, water-absorbing resin, wood chips, bentonite, paper and porous fiber.
The particles of the present invention may be used in combination with other urine absorbents, common absorbents including, but not limited to, wood chips, kaolin, paper, porous fibers, and the like, and may be reused.
The particle for absorbing the animal urine contains the components capable of displaying pH, so that the pH value of the animal urine can be sensitively and intuitively indicated, and the health condition of the animal is preliminarily judged according to the detection result of the pH value. The particle for absorbing animal urine has simple and clear process, and the produced particle can be mixed with other carriers to obtain products suitable for various animals and even human beings.
Detailed Description
In order to make the technical solutions better understood by those skilled in the art, the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present application will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present application, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are only partial embodiments of the present application, but not all embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present application.
It should be noted that the embodiments and features of the embodiments in the present application may be combined with each other without conflict. The present application will be described in detail below with reference to the embodiments with reference to the attached drawings.
Example 1
Granules for absorbing animal urine were prepared according to the following procedure:
1. adding 0.03% methyl red, 0.2% bromocresol and 0.01% bromothymol into 50% ethanol water solution, mixing uniformly, and preparing into indicator solution;
2. adding the prepared indicator solution into the water-absorbing particles until the particles are submerged, and uniformly mixing;
3. and (4) fully absorbing the indicator solution by the water-absorbing particles, and then air-drying to obtain the product.
Example 2
Granules for absorbing animal urine were prepared according to the following procedure:
1. adding 0.5% methyl red, 0.005% bromocresol and 0.02% bromothymol into 50% ethanol water solution, mixing uniformly, and preparing into indicator solution;
2. adding the prepared indicator solution into the water-absorbing particles until the particles are submerged, and uniformly mixing;
3. and (4) fully absorbing the indicator solution by the water-absorbing particles, and then air-drying to obtain the product.
Example 3
Granules for absorbing animal urine were prepared according to the following procedure:
1. adding 0.2% methyl red, 0.1% bromocresol and 0.15% bromothymol into 50% ethanol water solution, mixing uniformly, and preparing into indicator solution;
2. adding the prepared indicator solution into the water-absorbing particles until the particles are submerged, and uniformly mixing;
3. and (4) fully absorbing the indicator solution by the water-absorbing particles, and then air-drying to obtain the product.
Experiment of detection accuracy
Urine from 20 cats with confirmed diagnosis of calcium oxalate calculi (typical diagnosis of cats with calcium oxalate calculi is that urine is acidic, and urine pH is usually less than 6) was dropped into the pellets prepared in examples 1-3. The discoloration was counted and the results are shown in the following table:
Figure BDA0002339524950000031
Figure BDA0002339524950000041
according to statistics, only one example of urine dropped into the particles, the particles turned yellow and not orange-red, and the particles in other experiments all turned orange-red. Therefore, it can be considered that the coincidence of the particle detection result for absorbing urine and the data of the sample of the present application is high.
