When the positioning device is used, firstly, three positioning pins of a workpiece 6, including a main pin 6-1, a first short pin 6-2 and a second short pin 6-3, are placed in corresponding main pin expansion sleeves and slotted holes at the rear sides of the main pin expansion sleeves. The first butterfly nut 1-3 is adjusted to drive the screw rod 1-4 and the stop block 1-5 to rotate to drive the movable plier seat 2-1 to move, and the movable plier seat 2-1 drives the movable plier opening clamping block 2-4 to move; and then adjusting the worm 5-4 and the worm wheel 5-3 to pull down and expand tightly to tighten the workpiece, and then adjusting the auxiliary supporting structure to realize the extension of the short auxiliary support pin 4-4 and the long auxiliary support pin 4-5 so as to achieve the supporting and anti-vibration effects on the workpiece 6.
