Abstract
The invention discloses a cable lubricant and a preparation method thereof, wherein the cable lubricant comprises the following components in percentage by mass: 50-70% of polyethylene glycol, 10-30% of glycerol, 5-10% of silicone oil and 0.1-1% of preservative. The cable lubricant disclosed by the invention is prepared by compounding an auxiliary lubricating system by utilizing the water solubility and the lubricating property of PEG (polyethylene glycol). The lubricant prepared by the invention is neutral, and has no corrosion or other side effects on cables and protective sleeves; the viscosity is high, and the lubricant can be effectively attached to the cable; still have the lubricated advantage of high, reduce the friction effect in the cable laying process as far as possible, avoid haring the cable, improve its life, more also improved laying efficiency greatly.
Description
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the field of chemistry, and relates to a lubricant, in particular to a cable lubricant and a preparation method thereof.
Background
When electric wire and cable lay in the protecting pipe, because of reasons such as dead weight, long and curved way of distance, the frictional resistance of cable with the protecting pipe is big, not only the construction is inconvenient, causes cable surface wear to destroy moreover, reduces cable life, circuit fault appears. At present, no clear regulation is provided for laying cables in a protective sleeve, and some cables are directly pulled and hard dragged without surface lubrication. Some cables are coated with lubricating oil, soap water, talcum powder and the like to reduce friction resistance.
If direct drag, not only the efficiency of construction is low, can reduce cable life with cable surface wear destruction moreover, circuit fault appears. The protective sleeve and the cable insulating layer are made of plastic materials, lubricating oil is various, although the lubricating effect is good, the lubricating oil has a swelling effect on plastic, the performance of the protective sleeve is reduced, the insulating property of the surface of the cable is reduced, and the electric leakage phenomenon is caused. The soapy water has a certain lubricating effect, but is in a solution state, is easy to drip after being coated, is slightly alkaline, and has influence on the protective sleeve and the cable insulating layer. The talcum powder is a solid lubricating material, the infiltration effect on the inner wall of the protective sleeve and the surface of the cable is not good without liquid, the lubricating effect is poor compared with that of liquid, the good lubricating effect is achieved only by fully coating the inner wall of the whole protective sleeve and the surface of the cable, and the construction is not facilitated.
Disclosure of Invention
Aiming at the defects of the prior art, the invention provides the preparation method of the lubricant which is convenient to construct, has good lubricating property and no side effect on the protective sleeve and the cable.
In order to achieve the purpose, the invention adopts the technical scheme that: the cable lubricant comprises the following components in percentage by mass: 50-70% of polyethylene glycol, 10-30% of glycerol, 5-10% of silicone oil and 0.1-1% of preservative.
PEG has good water solubility and lubricity, glycerin (the content of glycerin is more than or equal to 99 percent) is an auxiliary lubricating component and an anti-freezing component, and silicone oil is an auxiliary lubricating component, so that the PEG, the glycerin and the silicone oil have good lubricating effect in cooperation.
Further, the cable lubricant also includes water.
In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the polyethylene glycol has an average molecular weight of 4000 to 8000.
If the polymerization degree of PEG is low, the PEG is in a liquid state, the prepared lubricant has poor smooth feeling and low viscosity, and is easy to drip after being smeared; the polyethylene glycol with the average molecular weight of 4000-8000 is preferably selected, is solid and convenient to paint, and can be continuously adhered to the wire after being painted.
In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the silicone oil is at least one of methyl silicone oil, ethyl silicone oil, and hydroxy silicone oil.
Further, the viscosity of the silicone oil is 30 to 100 mPas.
The lubricant system of the present invention is an aqueous system, and if the proportion and viscosity of the silicone oil are large, it is not favorable for uniform dispersion in the system, and therefore, it is necessary to control the proportion to be within 10% and the viscosity to be within 100mPa · s.
In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the preservative is at least one selected from the group consisting of sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate, parabens, and phenoxyethanol.
The invention also provides a preparation method of the cable lubricant, which comprises the following steps:
(1) adding polyethylene glycol into water, heating, stirring and dissolving;
(2) adding glycerol and silicone oil into the solution obtained in the step (1), and fully stirring and uniformly mixing;
(3) and (3) adding a preservative into the solution obtained in the step (2), and fully stirring and uniformly mixing to obtain the cable lubricant.
In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, in the step (1), the stirring temperature is 50 to 60 ℃.
The invention also claims the use of the cable lubricant in cabling.
The cable lubricant disclosed by the invention is prepared by compounding an auxiliary lubricating system by utilizing the water solubility and the lubricating property of PEG (polyethylene glycol). The lubricant prepared by the invention is neutral, and has no corrosion or other side effects on cables and protective sleeves; the viscosity is high, and the lubricant can be effectively attached to the cable; still have the lubricated advantage of high, reduce the friction effect in the cable laying process as far as possible, avoid haring the cable, improve its life, more also improved laying efficiency greatly. The preparation method of the lubricant is simple and convenient, and the cable lubricant can be prepared in a large scale.

Example 1
The embodiment of the cable lubricant comprises the following components in percentage by mass: 55g of polyethylene glycol-6000, 15g of glycerol, 3g of methyl silicone oil (viscosity of 50 mPas), 5g of hydroxy silicone oil (viscosity of 70 mPas), 0.2g of sodium benzoate, 0.2g of potassium sorbate, 0.1g of phenoxyethanol and 21.5g of water.
The preparation method of the cable lubricant in the embodiment comprises the following steps:
(1) weighing polyethylene glycol-6000, adding into water, heating to 60 deg.C, stirring and dissolving. Heating, stirring and dissolving;
(2) weighing glycerol, methyl silicone oil and hydroxyl silicone oil, adding into the solution in the step (1), and fully stirring and uniformly mixing;
(3) and (3) weighing sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate and phenoxyethanol, adding into the mixed solution obtained in the step (2), and fully stirring and uniformly mixing to obtain the cable lubricant.
Example 2
The embodiment of the cable lubricant comprises the following components in percentage by mass: 60g of polyethylene glycol-6000, 13g of glycerol, 4g of ethyl silicone oil (viscosity of 50 mPas), 4g of hydroxy silicone oil (viscosity of 70 mPas), 0.2g of sodium benzoate, 0.1g of methylparaben, 0.3g of phenoxyethanol and 18.4g of water.
The preparation method of the cable lubricant in the embodiment comprises the following steps:
(1) weighing polyethylene glycol-6000, adding into water, heating to 60 deg.C, stirring and dissolving. Heating, stirring and dissolving;
(2) weighing glycerol, ethyl silicone oil and hydroxyl silicone oil, adding into the solution in the step (1), and fully stirring and uniformly mixing;
(3) and (3) weighing sodium benzoate, methyl paraben and phenoxyethanol, adding the sodium benzoate, the methyl paraben and the phenoxyethanol into the mixed solution obtained in the step (2), and fully stirring and uniformly mixing to obtain the cable lubricant. .
Example 3
The embodiment of the cable lubricant comprises the following components in percentage by mass: 50g of polyethylene glycol-4000, 30g of glycerol, 5g of ethyl silicone oil (viscosity of 50 mPas), 5g of hydroxy silicone oil (viscosity of 70 mPas), 0.4g of sodium benzoate, 0.6g of phenoxyethanol and 9g of water.
Example 4
The embodiment of the cable lubricant comprises the following components in percentage by mass: 70g of polyethylene glycol-8000, 10g of glycerol, 2g of methyl silicone oil (viscosity of 50 mPas), 3g of ethyl silicone oil (viscosity of 70 mPas), 0.1g of sodium benzoate and 14.9g of water.
Example 5
The performance of the cable lubricant of the present invention was compared to a commercially available lubricant. The performance comparison of the cable lubricant disclosed in embodiments 1-4 of the present invention and a commercial lubricant is shown in table 1; of these, commercial lubricant 1 was purchased from IDEAL, and commercial lubricant 2 was purchased from 3M.

From the above table, the cable lubricant of the present invention has neutral pH, reduces corrosion of cables, has good viscosity and low friction coefficient, and has significantly higher cable laying efficiency than the existing commercially available lubricant.
Finally, it should be noted that the above embodiments are only used for illustrating the technical solutions of the present invention and not for limiting the protection scope of the present invention, and although the present invention is described in detail with reference to the preferred embodiments, it should be understood by those skilled in the art that modifications or equivalent substitutions can be made on the technical solutions of the present invention without departing from the spirit and scope of the technical solutions of the present invention.
Claims (6)
1. The cable lubricant is characterized by comprising the following components in percentage by mass: 50-70% of polyethylene glycol, 10-30% of glycerol, 5-10% of silicone oil, 0.1-1% of preservative, and the balance of water; the average molecular weight of the polyethylene glycol is 4000-8000; the viscosity of the silicone oil is 30-100 mPas.
2. The cable lubricant according to claim 1, wherein the silicone oil is at least one of methyl silicone oil, ethyl silicone oil, and hydroxy silicone oil.
3. The cable lubricant of claim 1, wherein the preservative is at least one of sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate, parabens, phenoxyethanol.
4. The method of preparing the cable lubricant of claim 1, comprising the steps of:
(1) adding polyethylene glycol into water, heating, stirring and dissolving;
(2) adding glycerol and silicone oil into the solution obtained in the step (1), and fully stirring and uniformly mixing;
(3) and (3) adding a preservative into the solution obtained in the step (2), and fully stirring and uniformly mixing to obtain the cable lubricant.
5. The method according to claim 4, wherein the stirring temperature in the step (1) is 50 to 60 ℃.
6. Use of a cable lubricant according to claim 1 in cabling.
