Abstract
The invention provides a pet chew and a preparation method thereof, wherein the pet chew comprises the following components in parts by weight: 5-33% of meat ingredients; 1% -20% of animal trachea; 5-40% of plant components; 5 to 20 percent of cow leather powder; 0.3 to 1.5 percent of edible gum; 8 to 38 percent of humectant; the animal trachea is added to replace the existing chondroitin, so that the palatability of the chondroitin to pets is obviously improved, and the chondroitin has higher nutritional value.
Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to a pet chew, in particular to a pet chew and a preparation method thereof.
Background
As pets increasingly enter households, pets have become indispensable family members of many households. The need for food for pets in many households has not been limited to hunger alone, and there has been much interest in the health and hygiene of pets, where pet chews have been made to help massage the pet's gums and to care for the pet's oral cavity, but many are made of materials that are harmful or non-biodegradable to the pet, have poor palatability and nutritional value, and are of such a nature that the pet loses interest in the pet chew over time, and even some pet chews can be detrimental to the health of the pet.
Therefore, there is a need to provide a new pet chew and a method for preparing the same to solve the above problems.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to provide a pet chew and a preparation method thereof.
In order to achieve the purpose, the invention adopts the following technical scheme: a pet chew comprising, by weight:
5-33% of meat ingredients;
1% -20% of animal trachea;
5-40% of plant components;
5 to 20 percent of cow leather powder;
0.3 to 1.5 percent of edible gum;
8 to 38 percent of humectant.
As a further improvement of the technical scheme, the plant component is selected from at least one of plant materials, plant derived materials, plant proteins and plant starch.
As a further improved technical scheme of the invention, the edible gum comprises the following components in percentage by weight of the total weight of the pet chew:
0.1 to 0.7 percent of xanthan gum;
0.1 to 0.5 percent of sodium alginate; and/or
0.1 to 0.3 percent of hydroxymethyl cellulose sodium.
As a further improved technical scheme of the invention, the humectant comprises the following components in percentage by weight of the total weight of the pet chew:
5% -15% of glycerol;
2 to 15 percent of sorbitol solution;
1 to 8 percent of maltose syrup.
As a further improvement of the invention, the pet chew further comprises at least one of a nutritional agent containing animal protein, a calcium agent, an oral care agent, a flavoring agent, and a filler.
As a further improvement of the technical proposal of the invention, the pet chew comprises a nutrient containing animal protein; the animal protein-containing nutritional agent comprises at least one of the following components by weight:
5-20% milk and/or dairy products;
5-20% of eggs and/or egg products;
0.1 to 0.5 percent of sodium caseinate.
As a further improvement of the invention, the pet chew comprises a calcium agent; the calcium agent comprises 5-20% of bone meal by weight.
As a further improvement of the invention, the pet chew comprises an oral care agent; the oral care agent comprises 0.1-0.7% by weight of sodium pyrophosphate.
As a further improvement of the invention, the pet chew comprises a flavoring agent; the flavoring agent comprises 1-6% by weight of a dog snack flavoring agent.
As a further improvement of the invention, the pet chew comprises a filler; the filler comprises 0.1 to 0.7 percent by weight of calcium carbonate.
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention also provides a method for preparing a pet chew, comprising the steps of:
weighing the components according to the content of the components in the pet chew, and mixing the components to form a mixture;
putting the mixture into an extruder to be extruded to form a semi-finished product with a preset shape, wherein the temperature in the extruder is 50-70 ℃;
drying and hardening the semi-finished product to form the pet chew.
The invention has the beneficial effects that: the pet chew provided by the invention is added with animal air pipes to replace the existing chondroitin, so that the palatability of the pet chew to pets is obviously improved, and the pet chew has higher nutritional value.
