Detailed Description
As an advertisement method for a user of a vehicle, for example, a hanging advertisement, a window poster, an in-vehicle video advertisement, and a vehicle body advertisement can be used. In addition, a mode of delivering advertisements to portable terminals held by users using vehicles is also considered. As described above, there has been proposed a technique of changing the presentation content by classifying users who listen to advertisements in addition to presenting advertisements by various means. However, in the case of advertisements presented in one direction, the advertisement focused by the user is limited, and there is a possibility that the improvement of the viewing rate may not be sufficiently achieved.
In view of the above, the information processing apparatus according to the present embodiment provides a financial benefit to a user who has promised to view an advertisement when the user who uses a vehicle promises to view the advertisement. In this case, since the user views an advertisement that is not unilaterally presented, but is in return for receiving the benefit on money, the degree of boredom experienced by the user presented with the advertisement is reduced. Further, it is believed that the user will be more attentive to the advertisement in return for receiving the benefit on money than the unilaterally prompted advertisement. Therefore, the benefit of money that the user will receive can be clarified to the user using the vehicle, and the advertisement viewing rate can be improved.
Benefits in money include, for example, discounting the cost of the vehicle, giving points to the advertiser or business operating the vehicle, and issuing coupons useful for goods or services provided by the advertiser. The cost required for providing the benefit in money may be borne by the advertiser, for example, depending on the number of times the advertisement is viewed by the user.
< first embodiment >
(System outline)
Fig. 1 is a diagram showing an outline configuration of an advertisement presentation system according to the present embodiment. In the example of fig. 1, the advertisement presentation system includes an information processing apparatus 1 and a user terminal 2 as a terminal possessed by a user (user). The information processing apparatus 1 and the user terminal 2 are connected to each other via a network N.
The information processing apparatus 1 obtains consent for advertisement viewing from a user who uses a vehicle. In addition to public transportation means including electric cars, buses, airplanes, and ships, transportation means that generate a ride cost such as a carpool (co-ride of vehicles) can be exemplified. The information processing apparatus 1 confirms whether or not to allow viewing of advertisements to the user, for example, via a predetermined application program (hereinafter, also referred to as an application) installed in the user terminal 2, and can obtain the promise of advertisement viewing.
The information processing apparatus 1 may obtain consent for advertisement viewing in advance via the user terminal 2 before the user uses the vehicle. For example, the user can set whether or not to promise to view an advertisement during riding in a vehicle by a predetermined application of the user terminal 2.
The information processing apparatus 1 can confirm whether or not viewing of advertisements is promised when a user reserves or purchases a ticket for a vehicle. The information processing device 1 may confirm whether or not to permit viewing of the advertisement when the user terminal 2 has settled the riding fee of the vehicle. For example, the information processing apparatus 1 only needs to cause the user terminal 2 to display a screen for confirming whether or not to allow viewing of advertisements when the user checks the account with the traffic electronic money when the user gets on and off the vehicle or passes through the ticket gate.
The information processing apparatus 1 may detect that the user has taken in the vehicle and confirm whether or not to allow viewing of the advertisement. For example, the user terminal 2 that receives an ultrasonic beacon transmitted into the vehicle of the vehicle confirms to the user whether or not to promise viewing of an advertisement. The information processing apparatus 1 can detect the riding of the user by receiving the notification of whether or not the advertisement is permitted to be viewed from the user terminal 2, and can confirm whether or not the advertisement is permitted to be viewed.
The information processing apparatus 1 presents an advertisement to an advertisement viewing user who promises viewing of the advertisement. The information processing apparatus 1 may also deliver advertisements to the user terminal 2 of the advertisement viewing user. The information processing device 1 may display an advertisement on a display provided around the entrance/exit or the ticket gate when the user gets on/off the vehicle or passes through the ticket gate.
The information processing apparatus 1 provides money benefits to users who have viewed advertisements. For example, the information processing apparatus 1 can give a discount on the fare to a user who has previously promised to view advertisements when the fare of the vehicle is settled. In addition, when the user obtains promise for advertisement viewing after the fare is settled, the information processing apparatus 1 may give a discount on the fare by returning a part of the fare. The benefit in money is not limited to the discount in the fare, and may include the giving of various points and the issuing of coupons that can be used in the facilities of the advertising object.
The user terminal 2 confirms whether or not to allow viewing of the advertisement to the user in response to a request from the information processing apparatus 1. The user can input the promise of advertisement viewing to the user terminal 2 via a predetermined application. The user terminal 2 notifies the information processing apparatus 1 of the consent of the advertisement viewing inputted. In addition, when the user terminal 2 has promised to view the advertisement, the advertisement delivered from the information processing apparatus 1 is displayed on the display.
The network N may be, for example, a WAN (Wide Area Network: wide area network) which is a world-wide public communication network such as the internet or another communication network. The network N may include a telephone communication network such as a mobile phone and a wireless communication network such as WiFi.
(device Structure)
The information processing apparatus 1 is configured by a computer, a workstation, and the like. The computer includes a processor 11 such as a CPU and DSP, a main storage unit 12 such as a Read Only Memory (ROM) and a Random Access Memory (RAM), an EPROM, an auxiliary storage unit 13 such as a Hard Disk Drive (HDD) and a removable medium, and a communication unit 14 for communicating with the user terminal 2 and other devices.
The removable medium is, for example, a USB (Universal Serial Bus: universal serial bus) memory or SD card, or a CD-ROM or DVD (Digital Versatile Disk: digital versatile disc) disc, a magnetic disk storage medium such as a blu-ray disc. The auxiliary storage unit 13 stores an Operating System (OS), various programs, various tables, and the like, and the programs stored therein are loaded into a work area of the main storage unit 12 and executed, and the respective components and the like are controlled by the execution of the programs, whereby respective functional units which achieve a predetermined purpose as described below can be realized. However, some or all of the functions may be implemented by hardware circuits such as ASICs (Application Specific Integrated Circuit: application specific integrated circuits) or FPGAs (Field-Programmable Gate Array: field programmable gate arrays). The information processing apparatus 1 is not limited to a single physical structure, and may be configured by a plurality of computers that cooperate with each other.
The communication unit 14 can communicate with a reading device of a traffic IC card provided at a station entrance or a ticket entrance of a vehicle, a device provided in a bus for controlling a button notifying a departure, a ticket vending machine, or the like. The communication unit 14 can also communicate with a display for displaying advertisements in a vehicle, a device for detecting whether a user is up or down the vehicle, or the like.
The user terminal 2 is a terminal for allowing a user to view advertisements or viewing advertisements delivered from the information processing apparatus 1. The user terminal 2 is not limited to one, and may be connected to the information processing apparatus 1 via the network N in plural. The user terminal 2 is a small-sized computer such as a smart phone, a mobile phone, a tablet computer terminal, a personal information terminal, and a wearable computer (smart watch, etc.), for example.
The user terminal 2 is a computer having a processor 21, a main storage unit 22, an auxiliary storage unit 23, a communication unit 24, an input unit 25, and an output unit 26, and is typically a mobile computer such as a smart phone or a tablet PC. The input unit 25 is, for example, a pointing device such as a touch panel, a mouse, or a touch panel, a keyboard, or operation buttons, and receives operation inputs such as promise of advertisement viewing. The output unit 26 is, for example, a liquid crystal display (Liquid Crystal Display; LCD) or an organic EL (Electro Luminescence: electroluminescence) display, and is capable of displaying advertisements delivered from the information processing apparatus 1.
(functional structure)
Fig. 2 is a diagram illustrating a functional configuration of the information processing apparatus. The information processing apparatus 1 realizes the functions shown in fig. 2 by loading the programs stored in the auxiliary storage unit 13 into the main storage unit 12 by the processor 11 and executing the programs. That is, the information processing apparatus 1 functions as a consent confirmation section 101, an advertisement presentation section 102, a benefit providing section 103, and an advertisement information database (DB; database Management System) 111. The advertisement information database 111 is constructed by managing the data stored in the auxiliary storage unit 13 by a program of a database management system executed by the processor 11. The advertisement information database 111 is, for example, a relational database. The details of these functional units will be described in detail below with reference to flowcharts. The processor 11 that executes a program to realize these functions corresponds to a "control unit" in the present invention.
(advertisement hint processing)
Fig. 3 is a flowchart illustrating a flow of advertisement presentation processing. Here, an example in which whether or not to promise viewing of an advertisement when a user gets in a vehicle is confirmed and a benefit in money is provided after the advertisement is presented to the user is shown, but the present invention is not limited to this. The promise of advertisement viewing may also be confirmed in advance of the user's use of the vehicle. The user may, for example, reserve a ticket for using a vehicle and settle a fare for using a vehicle before using the vehicle. The provision of the benefit in money is not limited to the presentation of the advertisement to the user, and may be performed before the presentation of the advertisement as long as the user has promised to view the advertisement. The advertisement presentation process shown in fig. 3 starts when the user gets on the vehicle, for example.
In step S11, the consent confirmation section 101 detects that the user has been riding in the vehicle, that is, is using the vehicle. The consent confirmation section 101 can detect that, for example, when the user gets in the vehicle, the vehicle type IC card registered in the user terminal 2 touches the reader. The reader is provided at an entrance/exit or a ticket gate of a vehicle, and stores a riding section of a user in an IC card. The reader notifies the information processing device 1 of the user's information, the boarding location (boarding station), and the alighting location (alighting station). The consent confirmation section 101 of the information processing device 1 can detect that the user has entered the vehicle by receiving a notification from the reader indicating that the user's IC card has been touched.
The consent confirmation unit 101 can also detect that the user is riding in the vehicle, that is, using the vehicle, by receiving a notification from the user terminal 2 that receives the ultrasonic beacon transmitted into the vehicle of the vehicle.
In step S12, the consent confirmation section 101 confirms to the user whether or not to consent for viewing of the advertisement. The consent confirmation section 101 can confirm whether or not the user is consent to viewing of an advertisement, for example, via the user terminal 2. That is, the consent confirmation section 101 can confirm whether or not the user has promised to view the advertisement by receiving promise of viewing the advertisement, which has been confirmed to the user by the user terminal 2.
The timing of confirming the promise of advertisement viewing is not limited to the case of detecting that the user is using the vehicle. The consent confirmation unit 101 may confirm whether or not the advertisement is allowed to be viewed, for example, when the riding fee of the vehicle is a prepaid fee and the riding fee has been settled when the vehicle is riding.
The confirmation of the promise of advertisement viewing is not limited to the case of passing through the user terminal 2. For example, when the user purchases a ticket for a vehicle, the consent confirmation unit 101 may input information on whether or not the consent of advertisement viewing is possible to the ticket vending machine or the ticket issuing terminal of the ticket. The input of the information about whether the ticket vending machine or the ticket issuing terminal is authorized or not may be the operation of the user himself or the operation of a customer service person who is responsible for the sales of the ticket. The consent confirmation unit 101 can confirm whether or not the user has promised to view the advertisement by receiving promise of viewing the advertisement by the user from the ticket vending machine or the ticket issuing terminal.
The consent confirmation section 101 may store the received confirmation result of consent availability in the auxiliary storage section 13 so as to add a correspondence relationship with the identification information of the user. The identification information of the user can be, for example, the identification number of the user terminal 2. Thus, each function unit of the information processing apparatus 1 can acquire information on whether or not the advertisement viewing is permitted from the auxiliary storage unit 13 so as to specify the identification information of the user. Here, an advertisement viewing promise screen for confirming promise of advertisement viewing to a user will be described with reference to fig. 4.
Fig. 4 is a diagram illustrating an advertisement viewing promise screen. The advertisement viewing consent screen SC1 is a screen provided by a predetermined application installed in the user terminal 2. When confirming the promise of advertisement viewing to the user, for example, when detecting that the vehicle is being used in step S11, the promise confirmation unit 101 requests the promise confirmation of advertisement viewing to the user terminal 2. The user terminal 2 displays the advertisement viewing promise screen SC1 on a display (output unit 26) in response to a request from the promise confirmation unit 101, and confirms promise of advertisement viewing to the user. The advertisement viewing promise screen SC1 shows a selection field SC11 of a preference desired by the user, a viewing promise selection field SC12 of an animated advertisement, a promise button SC13 attached with a "yes" label, and an promise disagreement button SC14 attached with a "no" label.
The selection field SC11 for the user-desired preference is a field for allowing the user to select a preference to be received as a return of an audiovisual advertisement (equivalent to "benefit on money"). When the user has promised to view the advertisement, the advertisement presentation unit 102 may display the advertisement providing the preference selected in the selection field SC11 on the user terminal 2.
The viewing availability selection field SC12 of the moving advertisement is a field for allowing the user to select whether or not to view the moving advertisement. The offer provider 103 may provide more offers to the user by allowing the user to view an animated advertisement having a longer viewing time than an image advertisement.
The selection fields SC11 and SC12 are fields for specifying conditions for locking the presentation content of the advertisement to the user. The condition for locking the advertisement is not limited to the items of the benefit (selection field SC 11) and the moving picture viewing availability (selection field SC 12) of money desired by the user. The advertisement viewing consent screen SC1 may include a field for specifying a lock condition such as a property of the sex or age of the user, a destination of the user, a type of advertisement the user wishes to view (for example, a restaurant, amusement park, or the like). The advertisement presentation unit 102 can select an advertisement object that matches the lock condition specified by the user on the advertisement viewing promise screen SC1, and presents the advertisement to the user.
The consent button SC13 is a button that the user presses in the case of consenting to the viewing of an advertisement. When the consent button SC13 is pressed, the user terminal 2 notifies the information processing apparatus 1 of information indicating that the user has consented for viewing of advertisements. In contrast, the disagreement button SC14 is a button that the user presses without promise of viewing the advertisement. When the disagreement button SC14 is pressed, the user terminal 2 notifies the information processing apparatus 1 of information indicating that the user does not agree to view the advertisement.
In step S13 in fig. 3, the consent confirmation section 101 determines whether or not the user is consent to view an advertisement. The consent confirmation section 101 can judge whether or not the user is consented to viewing of the advertisement based on the notification from the user terminal 2 in step S12. If the user has promised to view the advertisement (yes in S13), the process proceeds to step S14. If the user does not agree to view the advertisement (S13: no), the process shown in fig. 3 ends.
In step S14, the advertisement presentation unit 102 presents an advertisement to the user. The advertisement presentation unit 102 can present an advertisement by, for example, presenting advertisement information to the user terminal 2 of the user who is promised to view the advertisement and displaying the advertisement information on a display.
The advertisement presentation unit 102 can present an advertisement during a period when the user is using the vehicle. The advertisement presentation unit 102 may present the advertisement when confirming whether or not the user has promised to view the advertisement. Further, the advertisement presentation unit 102 may detect that the user is using the vehicle at a predetermined timing, as in the process of step S11, and present the advertisement when the user is in the vehicle of the vehicle. The predetermined timing may be, for example, a predetermined time interval or a timing when the vehicle stops at a station, a bus stop, or the like.
The presentation content of the advertisement for the user can be obtained from the advertisement information database 111, for example. The advertisement presentation unit 102 may acquire advertisement information including presentation contents of advertisements from an external server that provides the advertisement information via a network N such as the internet.
Here, advertisement information stored in the advertisement information database 111 will be described with reference to fig. 5. Fig. 5 is a diagram illustrating an advertisement information table. The advertisement information table is a table for managing advertisement information presented to a user. The advertisement information table includes fields for advertisement objects, animated advertisements, image advertisements, car-taking fee discounts, credit giving, and coupon issuing.
The advertisement object field stores restaurants, entertainment facilities, accommodation facilities, medical institutions, and the like, which are advertisement objects. The animated advertisement field stores advertisement information of the animation mode of the advertisement object. For example, the moving picture advertisement may be presented to the user who has selected the viewing moving picture advertisement in the selection field SC12 of the advertisement viewing promise screen SC1 shown in fig. 4. The image advertisement field stores advertisement information of the image format of the advertisement object.
The riding fee discount field stores the presence or absence of a discount service for riding fee for viewing advertisements. The advertisement information table is not limited to the discount field for the riding charge storing the presence or absence of the discount service, and may include a field for storing the discount rate or discount amount of the riding charge. Although the advertisement information shown in fig. 5 shows an example of whether or not the discount of the riding charge is set for each advertisement object, the discount of the riding charge, the discount rate, and the discount amount may be set so as to be common for each advertisement object instead of for each advertisement object. The discount rate or discount amount may be set to be larger on the side of the user who views the moving picture advertisement than on the side of the user who does not view the moving picture advertisement.
The score assignment field stores the presence or absence of score assignment for viewing of advertisements. The points to be given may be points provided for each advertisement object or points that can be used commonly for a plurality of advertisement objects. The advertisement information table is not limited to the score assignment field for storing the presence or absence of the score assignment, and may include a field for storing the assigned score. The number of points given may be set to be larger on the side of the user who views the moving picture advertisement than on the side of the user who does not view the moving picture advertisement.
The coupon issuing field stores the presence or absence of coupon issuing for advertisement viewing. The advertisement information table is not limited to the coupon issuing field storing the presence or absence of the issuing of the coupon, and may include a field storing the number of coupons issued and the coupon content of the coupon.
The advertisement information table is not limited to the fields for storing the discount of the riding fee, the credit giving, and the issuing of the coupon, and may include a field for storing the contents of other offers. The advertisement information table may include a field for storing attributes (such as age and sex) of the user related to the advertisement object. For example, when the attribute of the user has been specified on the advertisement viewing consent screen SC1, the advertisement presentation unit 102 can select an advertisement object that matches the specified attribute of the user and present the advertisement to the user. The attribute of the user is not limited to the one designated on the advertisement viewing consent screen SC1, and may be acquired from the user terminal 2. The advertisement information table may include a field for storing position information of the advertisement object. The advertisement presentation unit 102 selects an advertisement object existing around a destination of the user or a station where the vehicle is stopped, for example, based on the location information, and presents the advertisement to the user.
In step S15 of fig. 3, the offer provider 103 provides the user with a benefit in money. Benefits in money, including discounts on bus fees, points awards, and coupons issued, need only be provided to the user after the user has promised to view the advertisement. The benefit providing unit 103 can provide benefits in money, for example, when settling a fare for a vehicle, when viewing an advertisement, and when a user gets on and off the vehicle.
For example, in the case where the benefit of money is a discount on the fare, the benefit providing unit 103 may settle the amount of money for which the discount amount is deducted when the user who promises viewing the advertisement settles the fare of the vehicle. In addition, in the case where the riding fee is settled before the advertisement is permitted to be viewed, the offer provider 103 may return the discount amount to the user after the advertisement is permitted to be viewed.
(effects of action)
According to the first embodiment, the information processing apparatus 1 confirms to the user who uses the vehicle whether or not to promise to view advertisements during the period in which the vehicle is being used. The information processing apparatus 1 presents advertisements to users who have promised viewing of advertisements, and provides money benefits to users in return for advertisement viewing. Thus, the information processing apparatus 1 can improve the advertisement viewing rate by making the user clearly view the advertisement.
< second embodiment >
In the first embodiment, the information processing apparatus 1 causes the user terminal 2 of the user to present an advertisement to a user who has performed promise of advertisement viewing. In contrast, in the second embodiment, the information processing apparatus 1 presents advertisements to the user in a manner different from the first embodiment. The device configuration and the functional configuration of the information processing device 1 are the same as those of the first embodiment. Here, in the advertisement presentation processing shown in fig. 3, a processing different from that of the first embodiment will be described.
In the second embodiment, the advertisement presentation unit 102 presents an advertisement to a user when the user presses a stop button for stopping the vehicle. The advertisement presentation unit 102 may, for example, present and display advertisement information on a display provided around the parking button. The advertisement presentation unit 102 may send the information of the voice-type advertisement from a speaker provided around the stop button. In this case, the advertisement information of the voice may be transmitted to the user who has pressed the stop button through the directional speaker. In the second embodiment, since the user can view the advertisement without taking out the user terminal 2, the possibility that the advertisement is viewed is increased.
Further, by combining the second embodiment with the first embodiment, the user terminal 2 can be presented with an advertisement even when the park button is pressed. In this case, the advertisement presentation unit 102 may, for example, detect the user terminal 2 capable of near field communication from the position of the stop button, determine whether or not the user is a user who has promised to view the advertisement, and cause the user terminal 2 of the advertisement viewing user to present the advertisement. As described in the processing of step S12, the information on whether or not the user has promised to view the advertisement can be obtained by designating the identification information of the user based on the promise availability information of the advertisement viewing stored in the auxiliary storage unit 13.
(modification 1 of the second embodiment)
The second embodiment described above shows an example in which an advertisement is presented when the user presses the stop button as an expression of the intention to get off. In contrast, modification 1 is an example in which an advertisement is presented when a user who has promised viewing of the advertisement gets off a vehicle or passes through a ticket gate for confirming a ticket of the vehicle.
The advertisement presentation unit 102 can determine whether or not a user passing through the entrance has promised viewing of the advertisement, for example, and can present the advertisement on a display provided near the entrance if the user is a user promised viewing of the advertisement. The user passing through the entrance can be determined by, for example, communication with the user terminal 2 that received the ultrasonic beacon transmitted near the entrance.
The advertisement presentation unit 102 may present the advertisement on a display provided in the ticket gate or the periphery thereof when the ticket gate (including the user terminal 2 in which the information of the ticket gate is registered) is read by the ticket gate and the user has promised to view the advertisement.
In modification 1, when a user gets off a vehicle, an advertisement is displayed on a display provided at a position that is easily visually recognized, whereby the advertisement viewing rate can be improved.
(modification 2 of the second embodiment)
Modification 2 of the second embodiment relates to the prompting of advertisements within a seat-designated vehicle. The seat reserved or purchased by the user and the user reserved or purchased the seat (corresponding to the "user sitting on the seat") are associated with each other. The information of the correspondence relationship can be stored in the auxiliary storage unit 13, for example. By adding a correspondence relationship between a seat in a vehicle and a seated user, the advertisement presentation unit 102 can acquire information on whether the seated user has promised to view an advertisement. The advertisement presentation unit 102 can control presentation contents and presentation times of advertisements presented on the seat based on information on whether or not a user sitting on the seat has promised to view the advertisements. The information on whether or not the user has promised to view the advertisement may include information for selecting the presented advertisement, for example, information on a preference desired by the user, whether or not the user can view the moving picture, a user attribute, a type of the desired advertisement, a destination, and the like.
The advertisement presentation unit 102 may display the advertisement on a display corresponding to the seat when the seated user has promised to view the advertisement. The display corresponding to the seat may be a display provided for each seat or a display shared by a plurality of passengers. When the display is shared by a plurality of passengers, the advertisement presentation unit 102 can present the advertisement by presenting a voice to a seat on which a user who promises viewing of the advertisement sits, so that the advertisement presentation unit is limited to the advertisement viewing user. Further, the advertisement may be presented to a user who has promised to view the advertisement for a longer period of time than a user who has not promised to view the advertisement.
In modification 2, by adding a correspondence relationship between the seat and the seated user, the advertisement presentation unit 102 can control the presentation content and presentation time of the advertisement for each seat.
< other embodiments >
The above-described embodiments are merely examples, and the present invention may be implemented by appropriately changing the embodiments within a range not departing from the gist thereof.
The configuration and processing described in the present disclosure can be freely combined and implemented as long as no technical contradiction occurs.
The processing described as being performed by one apparatus may be shared by a plurality of apparatuses and executed. Alternatively, the processing described above as being performed by a different apparatus may be performed by one apparatus. In a computer system, what hardware configuration (server configuration) is used to implement each function can be flexibly changed.
The present invention can also be realized by providing a computer program having the functions described in the above embodiments installed thereon to a computer, and causing one or more processors included in the computer to read and execute the program. Such a computer program may be provided to a computer through a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium connectable to a system bus of the computer, or may be provided to the computer through a network.
