Fig. 1 shows a flowchart of a method of downloading an application of a first application applied to a user equipment according to an embodiment of the present application, the method comprising step S11, step S12 and step S13. In step S11, in response to a first download trigger event related to a third application in the first application, detecting whether there is a second application on the user equipment that can provide a download service of the third application, where there are a plurality of download service applications on the user equipment; in step S12, if there is a second application that can provide the download service of the third application, generating a jump instruction for jumping to a download page corresponding to the third application in the second application; in step S13, after the jump instruction is generated, the jump instruction is directly and automatically executed, so as to jump to the download page corresponding to the third application.
In step S11, in response to a first download trigger event regarding a third application in the first application, it is detected whether a second application capable of providing a download service of the third application exists on the user equipment, wherein a plurality of download service applications exist on the user equipment. In some embodiments, the operating system adopted by the user device can support the simultaneous existence of multiple download service applications for providing download services, for example, the user device may adopt an Android operating system, and in each example below, the Android system is taken as an example for illustration, and those skilled in the art should understand that other existing or later possible operating systems capable of supporting the simultaneous existence of multiple download service applications may adopt the same or similar implementation manner as the Android system to implement each operation in the present application. In some embodiments, the plurality of download service applications includes a system default download service application provided by a service provider of the user device (e.g., a system default download service application on a cell phone is an application store) and a non-system default third party download service application (e.g., a non-system default third party download service application on a cell phone includes an oppo application store, a vivo application store, etc.). In some embodiments, the user device may give an alarm to the installation behavior of the downloaded application from the third party downloading service application that is not default to the system (for example, alert the user that the downloading source of the downloaded application is an unofficial downloading channel, may have a potential safety hazard), and may alert the user through a popup window or the like, so that the user selects to cancel the downloading or continue the downloading, which increases the probability that the user abandons the installation, resulting in waste of the traffic of the downloaded application and increase of the churn rate of the user. In some embodiments, the first application may provide a download service itself, belongs to a third party download service application that is not a default of the system, and the first download trigger event may be a download operation manually performed by the user in the first application (for example, the user clicks on promotion information about the third application in the first application), and may also be automatically triggered by the first application (for example, the first application automatically triggers to download the third application that accords with the user preference according to preference information set by the user). In some embodiments, the second application is a system default download service application that can provide download services for the third application, and responsive to a first download trigger event in the first application with respect to the third application, it is detected whether the second application is present on the user device.
In step S12, if there is a second application that can provide the download service of the third application, a jump instruction for jumping to a download page corresponding to the third application in the second application is generated. In some embodiments, if there is a second application that can provide a download service of the third application on the user device, generating a jump instruction for jumping from the first application to a download page corresponding to the third application in the second application, where the jump instruction includes, but is not limited to, application package information of the third application, application package information of the second application, and page path information of the download page corresponding to the third application in the second application.
In step S13, after the jump instruction is generated, the jump instruction is directly and automatically executed, so as to jump to the download page corresponding to the third application. In some embodiments, after the jump instruction is generated, the jump instruction is directly and automatically executed to directly jump to a download page corresponding to the third application in the second application, without interrupting the jump and waiting due to the warning of a popup window or the like, and without downloading the third application through the download service provided by the first application, so that the download and the installation process of the third application in the second application are not warned or blocked, the probability of installing the third application by a user can be increased, and the user conversion rate of the third application is improved. In some embodiments, a jump instruction is executed in the first application, and an operating system adopted by the user equipment generates a start instruction for starting a download page corresponding to the third application in the second application based on the jump instruction, and sends the start instruction to the second application, and the second application responds to the start instruction to present the download page corresponding to the third application for the user to download the third application, so that user loss caused by installation behavior warning can be avoided.
In some embodiments, the detecting whether a second application exists on the user equipment that can provide a download service for the third application includes: acquiring application identification information of an application corresponding to the service provider information according to the service provider information of the user equipment; and detecting whether a second application capable of providing the download service of the third application exists on the user equipment according to the application identification information, wherein the second application is matched with the application identification information. In some embodiments, the first application or a server corresponding to the first application stores a mapping relationship between a plurality of service providers of the user equipment and a system default download service application corresponding to each service provider (for example, the service provider is "Hua as an application store" corresponding to the system default download service application), and according to the service provider information of the user equipment, based on the mapping relationship acquired from the first application locally or from the server corresponding to the first application, application identification information of the system default download service application corresponding to the server is obtained, and the application identification information is used for uniquely identifying a certain application, including but not limited to application package information, application ID information and the like, through the application identification information, whether a second application which matches the application identification information and can provide a download service of a third application is found in all installed applications on the user equipment. In some embodiments, the first application or a server corresponding to the first application stores a mapping relationship between a system default download service application and applications for which each system default download service application can provide a download service, and based on the mapping relationship obtained from the first application locally or from the server corresponding to the first application, whether a second application capable of providing a download service of the third application exists on the user equipment can be detected.
