Fig. 1 illustrates a typical scenario of the present application, where a user holds a user device, on which an interface of a reading application is presented, wherein the user device includes, but is not limited to, a computing device of a cell phone, tablet, notebook, etc. (with a touch screen). The user manually sets and starts a reading application floating window in the reading application (for example, the floating window belongs to a small window carried by the reading application or a floating function display, and an operation window of the reading application can be floated above a reading application interface or on a system desktop), and drags the interesting novel a into the floating window, or the user can click a corresponding button on a novel a reading page of the reading application or long-press the adding novel a into the floating window, and the target control is taken as the floating window for illustration. In some embodiments, after the user adds the novel a to the floating window, the user device may directly open the chapter history that the user read last time in response to the user's fetching of the floating window. In response to an adding operation of a user, a user device sends an update prompting request about the novel A to a network device corresponding to the reading application, wherein the update prompting request comprises novel identification information of the novel A, the network device receives the update prompting request, and generates a prompting instruction about the novel A if receiving chapter update notification information of the novel A or an update chapter of the novel A (for example, an author of the novel A uploads the update chapter to the network device) based on the novel identification information of the novel A, wherein the prompting instruction comprises the update prompting information of the update chapter of the novel A and content information of the update chapter of the novel A. The network equipment sends the prompt information to user equipment, the user equipment receives the prompt information, enables a floating window to present the attribute of the display state based on the prompt instruction, and then presents the floating window on the window of the reading application, wherein the floating window comprises the updating prompt information (for example, the number 2 represents an updating chapter with two chapters), and in response to the access operation of the user on the updating prompt information, the network equipment jumps to the window of the reading application and presents the content information of the updating chapter of the target novel.
Referring to the system shown in fig. 1, fig. 2 provides a systematic method of providing novel update notification information, wherein the method comprises:
the method comprises the steps that user equipment obtains adding operation of adding a target novel to a target control in a reading application of the user equipment by a user;
in response to the adding operation, the user equipment sends an update prompting request about the target novel to network equipment corresponding to the reading application, wherein the update prompting request comprises novel identification information of the target novel;
the network equipment receives an update prompting request about a target novel sent by user equipment, responds to the update prompting request, and generates a first prompting instruction about the target novel if chapter update notification information of the target novel or an update chapter of the target novel is newly received, wherein the first prompting instruction comprises first update prompting information about the update chapter of the target novel, and the first prompting instruction is sent to the user equipment;
the user equipment receives the first prompt instruction, and in response to the first prompt instruction, activates the target control and presents the target control on a window of the reading application, wherein the target control comprises the first updating prompt information.
Fig. 3 illustrates a method for providing novel update notification information at a user equipment according to an embodiment of the present application, where the method includes step S101, step S102, step S103, and step S104. In step S101, the user equipment obtains an adding operation of adding a target novel to a target control in a reading application of the user equipment by the user; in step S102, in response to the adding operation, the user equipment sends an update prompting request about the target novel to the network equipment corresponding to the reading application, where the update prompting request includes novel identification information of the target novel; in step S103, the user equipment receives a first prompt instruction about the target novel, which is sent by the network equipment based on the update prompt request, where the first prompt instruction includes first update prompt information of an update section of the target novel; in step S104, the user equipment, in response to the first prompt instruction, activates the target control and presents the target control on the window of the reading application, where the target control includes the first update prompt information.
Specifically, in step S101, the user equipment acquires an addition operation of adding the target novel to the target control in the reading application of the user equipment by the user. For example, a reading application is installed on the user device, wherein the reading application notifies the message function on the user device that it has been disabled. In response to the user's adding operation, the target novel is added to the target control, for example, the user manually sets and starts a reading application target control in the reading application, and drags the target novel of interest into the target control, or the user may click a corresponding button or long-press an adding target novel to the target control on a target novel reading page of the reading application, wherein one target novel may correspond to one target control or multiple target novel may correspond to one target control, the target control includes a small window (e.g., a floating window or a floating ball, etc.) carried by the reading application or a floating function display, and an operation window of the reading application may be floated (e.g., displayed and floated or hidden and floated) above the reading application interface or on a system desktop. In some embodiments, the target control is an SDK capable of independently implementing a corresponding function, and is relatively independent from the main program, where the relatively independent indicates that the target control implements the corresponding function and is not dependent on the main program, and the target control is set to be dependent on the main program, and when the floating window is set, a user is required to perform an activation operation in the main program associated with the target control, for example, an icon corresponding to the target control is set in the main program, and the user triggers the icon corresponding to the target control in the main program, and then performs the activation operation of the target control, so that a novel list requiring an update prompt can be added to the target control.
In step S102, in response to the adding operation, the user equipment sends an update prompting request about the target novel to the network equipment corresponding to the reading application, where the update prompting request includes novel identification information of the target novel. For example, after the user performs an operation of adding a target novel, the user device sends an update prompt request about the target novel to the network device corresponding to the reading application. For example, the update prompt request includes novel identification information of the target novel. In some embodiments, in step S102, the user equipment sets the display attribute of the target control to a hidden state in response to the adding operation; wherein the activating the target control comprises: and setting the display attribute of the target control to be in a display state. For example, after the user executes the operation process of adding the target novel, the user equipment sets the attribute of the target control to be in an invisible (hidden) state, and after the subsequent target control receives the prompt instruction, the user equipment sets the attribute of the target control to be in a visible (display) state.
In step S103, the user equipment receives a first prompt instruction about the target novel, which is sent by the network equipment based on the update prompt request, where the first prompt instruction includes first update prompt information of an update section of the target novel. For example, the network device receives an update prompt request about a target novel, and generates a prompt instruction about the target novel according to newly received chapter update notification information of the target novel or an updated chapter of the target novel, wherein the prompt instruction comprises update prompt information of the updated chapter of the target novel, and in some embodiments, the prompt instruction further comprises the updated chapter of the target novel. Under the condition that the prompt instruction further comprises the update chapters of the target novel, the follow-up user can directly obtain the existing update chapter contents according to the update prompt information without requesting the update chapter contents again through user equipment, and the reading efficiency of the user is improved.
In step S104, in response to the first prompt instruction, the user equipment activates the target control and presents the target control on the window of the reading application, where the target control includes the first update prompt information. For example, the user equipment receives the prompt instruction, and changes the display attribute of the target control from 'hidden' to 'displayed' according to the prompt instruction, so that the target control can be displayed in the user equipment. In some embodiments, the update prompt in the target control includes a red dot, a number, or other prompt indicia (e.g., in text form: XX chapter unread) that can be used to prompt the user for a chapter update prompt message. In some embodiments, the presentation style of the target control includes a target novel cover style, after a novel X chapter update prompt message is provided, the cover style of the novel X (including a picture, a dynamic picture, a small video and the like of information such as a title, a character, an author and the like) is displayed in the target control, the cover of the novel X in the target control can be dynamically switched, for example, the updated chapter can automatically generate a cover according to a description scene in reading, if a plurality of updated chapters exist, the cover of each new chapter can be dynamically displayed in the target control, the target control is displayed in the cover style on a system desktop, the presentation style of the target control can strongly remind a reading user that the novel X is updated, the reading user is attracted to click to enter the reading, the viscosity of the user on the novel X is increased, the staying degree of the user is increased, and the user can directly acquire update information through the target control, so that the arrival rate of the push information is high.
For example, a user holds a user device on which an interface of a reading application is presented. The user manually sets a floating window for starting the reading application in the reading application and drags the interesting novel A into the floating window. In response to the adding operation of the user, the user equipment sends an update prompting request about the novel A to the network equipment corresponding to the reading application, wherein the update prompting request comprises novel identification information of the novel A, the network equipment receives the update prompting request, and based on the novel identification information of the novel A, the network equipment receives an update section of the novel A (for example, an author of the novel A uploads the update section to the network equipment), and generates a prompting instruction about the novel A, wherein the prompting instruction comprises the update prompting information of the update section of the novel A and content information of the update section of the novel A. And the network equipment sends the prompt information to user equipment, the user equipment receives the prompt information, enables the floating window to present the attribute of the display state based on the prompt instruction, and then presents the floating window on the window of the reading application or a system desktop, wherein the floating window comprises the updating prompt information.
In some embodiments, the method further includes step S105 (not shown), in step S105, the user device jumps to the window of the reading application and presents the content information of the updated chapter of the target novel in response to the user' S access operation to the first update prompt information. For example, the user device receives a prompt instruction about the target novel sent by the network device based on the update prompt request, wherein the prompt instruction comprises update prompt information of an update section of the target novel and content information of the update section, and in response to an access operation (e.g., clicking and sliding operation) of the user to the update prompt information, the user device jumps to a window of the reading application and presents the content information of the update section of the target novel. In this case, the user can directly acquire the content information of the updated chapter, and the information acquisition efficiency of the user is improved. In some embodiments, in step S105, the user device jumps to the window of the reading application in response to the user accessing the first update prompt message, and sends an update chapter content request about the target novel to the network device; and receiving the updated section of the target novel returned by the network equipment, and presenting the content of the updated section of the target novel. For example, in a case that the first prompt instruction includes the first update prompt information, in response to an access operation of the user to the first update prompt information, the user equipment initiates a request for content of an update chapter about the target novel to the network equipment again, and then the user equipment acquires content information of the corresponding update chapter.
In some embodiments, the method further includes step S106 (not shown), and in step S106, the user device sends reading progress information about the updated section of the target novel to the network device in response to the user' S reading operation of the updated section of the target novel. For example, in response to an access operation (e.g., a click operation, a slide operation) of the update prompt information by the user, the user device jumps to a window of the reading application and presents content information of the updated section of the target novel, the user device acquires a reading progress of the user (e.g., 50% of the updated section has been read by the user or 100% of the updated section has been read by the user), and then sends reading progress information about the updated section to the network device. And providing a basis for closing the target control based on the reading process.
In some embodiments, the method further includes step S107 (not shown), in step S107, the user equipment receives a close instruction about the target control returned by the network equipment; and executing the operation of closing the target control based on the closing instruction. For example, if the reading process of the updated chapter acquired by the user equipment includes that the user finishes reading the updated chapter, the user equipment sends the reading process information to the network equipment, and the network equipment acquires the reading process information, determines that the user finishes reading the updated chapter according to the reading process information, and sends an instruction for closing the target control to the user equipment. Under the condition that the user finishes reading the updated chapters, the target control is closed, so that the screen is not occupied endlessly, and the subsequent utilization rate of the screen is improved.
In some embodiments, the method further includes step S108 (not shown), and in step S108, the user device sends confirmation information that the target control has been closed to the network device based on the operation of closing the target control. For example, if the user equipment has performed an operation of closing the target control, the user equipment returns confirmation information of the closed target control to the network equipment, and a basis is provided for monitoring the state of the updated section again by the subsequent network equipment.
In some embodiments, the method further includes step S109 (not shown), in step S109, the user equipment receives a second prompting instruction about the target novel sent by the network equipment, where the second prompting instruction includes second updating prompting information of the updated section of the target novel; and responding to the second prompt instruction, activating a second target control and presenting the target control, wherein the target control comprises second updating prompt information of the updating section of the target novel. For example, on the premise that the network device has confirmed that the target control has been closed, or on the premise that the network device monitors the chapter update state of the target novel in real time, if the network device newly receives chapter update notification information of the target novel or an updated chapter of the target novel, a second prompt instruction about the target novel is generated, where the second prompt instruction includes second update prompt information of the updated chapter of the target novel. And the network equipment sends the second prompt instruction to the user equipment, and the user equipment activates a target control of the reading application after receiving the instruction information and displays the target control on a window of the reading application or a system interface of the user equipment, wherein the target control comprises second updating prompt information of an updating chapter of the target novel. Under the condition, the user equipment acquires prompt information about the updated chapters of the target novel in real time, and the reading experience of the user is improved.
Fig. 4 shows a method for providing novel update notification information on a network device side according to an embodiment of the present application, where the method includes step S201, step S202, and step S203. In step S201, a network device receives an update prompting request about a target novel sent by a user device, where the update prompting request includes novel identification information of the target novel; in step S202, in response to the update prompting request, if chapter update notification information of the target novel or an update chapter of the target novel is newly received, the network device generates a first prompting instruction about the target novel, where the first prompting instruction includes first update prompting information of the update chapter of the target novel; in step S203, the network device sends the first prompt instruction to the user equipment.
Specifically, in step S201, the network device receives an update prompting request about a target novel sent by the user device, where the update prompting request includes novel identification information of the target novel. For example, after the user equipment acquires an adding operation of adding the target novel to the target control in a reading application of the user equipment, the user equipment sends an update prompting request about the target novel to the network equipment.
In step S202, in response to the update prompting request, if chapter update notification information of the target novel or an update chapter of the target novel is newly received, the network device generates a first prompting instruction about the target novel, where the first prompting instruction includes first update prompting information of the update chapter of the target novel. For example, after the network device receives the update prompt request, if the network device receives chapter update notification information of the target novel (for example, update notification information about the target novel that the network device acquires from other novel platforms) or an update chapter of the target novel (for example, an author of the target novel uploads the update chapter to the network device), the network device generates a prompt instruction about the update chapter of the target novel, where the prompt instruction includes the update prompt information about the update chapter of the target novel. In some embodiments, in step S202, the network device performs, in response to the update prompting request, a matching query in the newly received chapter update notification information or update chapter according to the novel identification information of the target novel; and if the chapter update notification information of the target novel or the update chapter of the target novel is obtained through inquiry, generating a first prompt instruction about the target novel, wherein the first prompt instruction comprises first update prompt information of the update chapter of the target novel. For example, the network device receives the update prompt request, where the update prompt request includes novel identification information of the target novel, and then determines whether the target novel has a chapter update state according to a mapping relationship between the received novel identification information and an update chapter (or chapter update notification information), and if so, the network device generates a prompt instruction about the target novel, where the prompt instruction includes update prompt information of the update chapter of the target novel. And under the condition that the network equipment monitors chapter updating information at any time, a foundation is provided for timely sending updating prompt information to the user subsequently.
In step S203, the network device sends the first prompt instruction to the user equipment. And under the condition that the network equipment monitors chapter updating information at any time, a foundation is provided for timely sending updating prompt information to the user subsequently.
For example, a user holds a user device on which an interface of a reading application is presented. The user manually sets and starts the reading application floating window in the reading application and drags the interesting novel A into the floating window. And the network equipment sends the prompt information to the user equipment, and the user equipment receives the prompt information.
In some embodiments, the first cue instruction further comprises an updated section of the target novel. Under the condition that the prompt instruction further comprises the update section of the target novel, the network equipment can directly send the update section to the user equipment, the follow-up user can directly obtain the existing update section content according to the update prompt information, the user equipment does not need to request the network equipment for updating the section content again, the content distribution efficiency is improved, and the reading efficiency of the user is also improved.
In some embodiments, the method further includes step S204 (not shown), and in step S204, the network device receives reading progress information of the updated chapter of the target novel, sent by the user device, for the user. For example, in response to an access operation (e.g., a click operation, a slide operation) of the user to the update prompt information, the user device jumps to a window of the reading application and presents content information of the updated chapter of the target novel, and in response to a reading operation of the updated chapter by the user, the user device acquires a reading progress of the user (e.g., 50% of the updated chapter has been read by the user or 100% of the updated chapter has been read by the user), and then sends reading progress information about the updated chapter to the network device. The network equipment receives the reading process information and provides a basis for sending a command for closing the target control based on the reading process.
In some embodiments, the method further includes step S205 (not shown), in step S205, the network device monitors reading progress information about the updated section of the target novel; and if the reading progress information comprises that the user finishes reading the updated chapters of the target novel, sending a closing instruction about the target control to the user equipment. And under the condition that the reading progress information comprises that the user finishes reading the updated chapters, providing a basis for subsequently saving resources and improving the screen utilization rate of user equipment.
In some embodiments, the method further includes step S206 (not shown), and in step S206, the network device receives confirmation information that the target control has been closed, which is returned by the user device based on the closing instruction. For example, if the user equipment has performed an operation of closing the target control, the user equipment returns confirmation information of the closed target control to the network equipment, and a basis is provided for monitoring the state of the updated section again by the subsequent network equipment.
In some embodiments, the method further includes step S207 (not shown), in step S207, the network device monitors a chapter update status of the target novel; if chapter update notification information of the target novel or an update chapter of the target novel is newly received, generating a second prompt instruction about the target novel, wherein the second prompt instruction comprises second update prompt information of the update chapter of the target novel; and sending the second prompt instruction to the user equipment. And the network equipment sends the second prompt instruction to the user equipment, and the user equipment activates a second target control of the reading application after receiving the instruction information, wherein the second target control comprises second update prompt information of an update chapter of the target novel. Under the condition, the user can conveniently acquire the prompt information about the updated chapters of the target novel in real time through the user equipment, and the reading experience of the user is improved.
Fig. 5 illustrates a method of providing novel update notification information according to yet another embodiment of the present application, where a user a holds a user device on which an interface of a reading application is presented. The user manually sets and starts a reading application floating window in the reading application (for example, the floating window belongs to a small window carried by the reading application or a floating function display, an operation window of the reading application can be floated above a reading application interface or on a system desktop), and interesting novels (for example, novels X, novels Y, novels Z and the like) are dragged into the floating window. In some embodiments, after the user adds the novel X to the floating window, the user device may directly open the chapter history that the user read last time in response to the user's fetching of the floating window. Responding to an adding operation of a user, sending an updating prompt request about the novel X to a network device corresponding to the reading application by the user device, wherein the updating prompt request comprises novel identification information of the novel X, receiving the novel identification information of the novel X and adding the novel A to a floating window prompt list by the network device, and generating chapter updating prompt information about the novel X if an updating chapter of the novel X is received (for example, an author of the novel X uploads the updating chapter to the network device). The network equipment sends an activation instruction about a reading application floating window to the user equipment based on the chapter update prompting information (for example, the attribute of the floating window is set to be in a display state), the user equipment receives the activation information, activates the floating window based on the instruction and presents the attribute of the display state, and then presents the floating window on the window of the reading application, wherein the floating window comprises the prompting information about the update chapter of the novel X, and in response to the access operation of the user to the update prompting information, the network equipment jumps to the window of the reading application and presents the content information of the update chapter of the target novel. In response to the reading operation of the user on the updated chapter, the user equipment sends progress data of the user for reading the updated chapter to the network equipment, the network equipment receives reading progress information (for example, the current progress is 100%, and the user has read the content of the updated chapter) about the updated chapter of the novel X sent by the user equipment, and then the network equipment sends a closing instruction about the floating window to the user equipment. Based on the closing instruction, the user equipment executes the operation of closing the floating window presented on the system desktop, if the closing is completed, the user equipment sends feedback information that the floating window is closed to the network equipment, and then, the network device continues to monitor the chapter update state of the novel X, generates the update prompt information about the novel X again if the update chapter of the novel X is received again, then based on the update prompt information, the network device sends the activation instruction about the reading application floating window to the user device again (for example, the attribute of the floating window is set to be in the display state), the user device receives the activation information, and based on the instruction, activating a floating window and presenting the attribute of the display state, and then presenting the floating window on a system interface, wherein the floating window comprises prompt information about an updated chapter of the novel X.
