Abstract

Description

用于制造球头销的方法
技术领域
本发明涉及一种根据权利要求1的前序部分所述的用于制造球头销/球形枢轴/球面轴颈的方法。
背景技术
这种方法被用于制造球头销,所述球头销由柄部连同落座在轴向端部上的铰接球构成。在此需要对所述球头销在其表面特性、尤其是抗腐蚀性方面及其在具体应用情况下的硬度性能方面进行优化。为此对球头销(除螺纹区域外)整个进行氮碳共渗或氧化。其缺点是加工过的表面的断裂伸长率小。由于高负荷事件,在出现小的弹性变形的情况下便已可能使位于铰接球和柄部之间的承受高负荷的颈部区域中的表面涂层产生裂纹。这种裂纹会进一步变大并且导致出现零部件失效。为了避免这种情况,尤其是颈部区域要被构造成大到不会产生裂纹的程度。
文献WO2007/148359A1描述的是一种用于制造球头销的方法,所述方法具有以下步骤:对被构造成金属板片的毛坯件进行塑性变形以产生柄部和铰接球以及对球头销的外表面进行精细加工以降低粗糙度。
文献DE 10 2009 011 978 A1公开了一种用于制造带有抗腐蚀表面涂层的球头销的方法,所述球头销包括铰接球和柄部,其中从轴向方向上观看所述球头销被分成多个区域,其中这些区域分别具有针对其负荷考虑的且与该负荷相匹配的表面涂层。所述方法包括以下方法步骤:a)制造球头销;b)在轴向方向上观看将球头销分成多个区域;c)借助热喷涂工艺按区域涂覆抗腐蚀的表面涂层,其中所述区域分别具有考虑其负荷且与该负荷相匹配的表面涂层。
发明内容
本发明的目的在于提供一种用于制造小重量球头销的、过程可靠的方法。
这个目的通过权利要求1的特征来实现。
一种制造具有铰接球和柄部的球头销的方法,其中所述柄部至少具有与铰接球相邻接的颈部区域以及与铰接球相对而置的固定部段,其特征在于以下步骤:
a)塑性成形出球头销半成品;
b)机械地、尤其是以切削方式加工所述球头销半成品;
c)滚压所述铰接球的表面;
d)对所述球头销半成品进行热化学表面硬化;
e)去除至少颈部区域中和/或固定部段中的表面硬化层;
f)氧化所述球头销半成品;
g)对所述铰接球进行抛光。
在通过热化学表面硬化对整个球头销进行处理之后,能够通过后续去除相应区域中的表面硬化层以及氧化来有针对性地影响机械性能和抗腐蚀性能。由此,被表面硬化和氧化的区域具有高抗磨损性和良好的抗腐蚀性,而表面硬化层被去除的氧化区域的突出之处在于高延展性和充分的抗腐蚀性。尤其是,铰接球需要高抗磨损性和抗腐蚀性,而颈部区域和固定部段仅具有小的抗磨损性和抗腐蚀性就足够了。由此能够获得理想的球头销,所述理想的球头销具有抗腐蚀性和抗磨损性最佳的、坚硬耐磨的铰接球,而柄部主要具有在高负荷情况下不会被划出痕迹的可延展的表面。柄部对抗腐蚀性的需求明显较小,由此这里未经历热化学硬化的表面的氧化就足够了。另外,所述方法步骤的列举并不表示限定其确切的步骤顺序。在需要时各个步骤也能进行交换。当然,所述方法必然要以球头销的成形及其粗加工为开始。虽然例如铰接球在抛光之前也同样需要受到滚压,但是另选地也可以在球头销半成品的表面硬化之后进行铰接球的抛光。球头销的氧化可以在去除至少颈部区域和/或固定部段中的表面硬化层之前或之后进行。
在一个优选的实施形式中,通过锻造来实现塑性成形。
在一个优选的实施形式中,在另一个步骤中在固定部段中成形出螺纹。在一个尤其优选的实施形式中通过螺纹滚压来形成所述螺纹。
在一个优选的实施形式中,以切削方式去除表面硬化层。对此另外可以考虑车削或磨削。
在一个优选的实施形式中,去除至少25μm的表面硬化层。
在一个优选的实施形式中,表面硬化是氮碳共渗。
在一个优选的实施形式中,在另一个步骤中进行热硬化、尤其是感应加热淬火。

具体实施方式
球头销1主要由铰接球2和柄部3构成。而柄部3以铰接球2为起点由颈部区域4、圆柱形区域5以及固定部段6构成,其中固定部段6又由锥形区域7和固定区域8构成。在本发明的用于制造球头销1的方法中,首先将毛坯件锻造成球头销半成品。然后优选地通过切削加工加工出开头所述的多个区域。此时对铰接球2的表面进行滚压。球头销半成品整体上经历氮碳共渗,其中在下一个步骤中切削地去除颈部区域4、圆柱形区域5和螺纹区域8中的至少25μm的氮碳共渗层。由此铰接球2和锥形区域7保留有氮碳共渗的边缘层。在螺纹区域8中成形出螺纹并且对铰接球2进行抛光。在方法的最后对整个球头销半成品进行氧化。

Claims (8)

1.一种用于制造具有铰接球(2)和柄部(3)的球头销(1)的方法,其中所述柄部(3)至少具有与所述铰接球(2)邻接的颈部区域(4)以及与所述铰接球(2)相对而置的固定部段(6),其特征在于以下步骤:
a)塑性成形出球头销半成品;
b)机械地加工所述球头销半成品;
c)滚压所述铰接球(2)的表面;
d)对所述球头销半成品进行热化学表面硬化;
e)至少在所述颈部区域(4)和/或所述固定部段(6)中去除所述表面硬化层;
f)氧化所述球头销半成品;
g)对所述铰接球(2)进行抛光。
2.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,通过锻造实现塑性成形。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的方法,其特征在于,在另一个步骤中在所述固定部段中成形出螺纹。
4.根据权利要求1至3中任意一项所述的方法,其特征在于,切削地去除所述表面硬化层。
5.根据权利要求1至4中任意一项所述的方法,其特征在于,去除至少25μm的表面硬化层。
6.根据权利要求1至5中任意一项所述的方法,其特征在于,热化学表面硬化是氮碳共渗。
7.根据权利要求1至6中任意一项所述的方法,其特征在于,在另一个步骤中进行热硬化。
8.根据权利要求7所述的方法,其特征在于,热硬化是感应加热淬火。
