Traditional high-speed EMUs adopt the manual fire extinguishing mode, through arranging detector monitoring car interior state in the carriage, if take place the condition of a fire, the detector sends into cab with fire alarm signal, and the driver opens alarm device and notifies relevant personnel and put out a fire. In some locomotives, a driver can directly control the corresponding fire bottle to spray the agent through the fire controller to achieve the fire extinguishing effect after a fire occurs. Although the methods can achieve the purpose of fire extinguishing, the fire extinguishing system and the locomotive are in an off-line state, the reliability and the real-time performance are poor, and the fire cannot be eliminated safely and early.

Further, the fire extinguishing execution unit comprises an electromagnetic valve, a fire extinguishing steel cylinder and a pipeline;
the electromagnetic valve is connected with the spraying port of the fire-extinguishing steel cylinder through a pipeline, and the fire-fighting controller controls the electromagnetic valve to be opened so as to drive the spraying port of the fire-extinguishing steel cylinder to spray.
