A system for closely introducing a removable component onto a component receiving article without the need to accommodate the removable component at the time of manufacture of the article and without substantially affecting the original integrity of the article in order to accommodate the removable component: in particular, but without limitation, such that after the component receiving article is manufactured, in another exemplary embodiment, an optional component can be closely fitted to the component receiving article; or in another exemplary embodiment, the selectable component is capable of being snugly reattached to the component receiving article; or in another exemplary embodiment, the selectable component can be retrofitted to the component receiving article closely.

Detailed Description
The present disclosure provides a system and method for tightly introducing a removable component onto a component receiving article without the need to accommodate the removable component at the time of manufacture of the article and without substantially affecting the original integrity of the article in order to accommodate the removable component, as will be described in greater detail below.
The present invention relates to a system and method for tightly introducing a removable component onto a component receiving article without the need to accommodate the removable component at the time of manufacture of the article and without substantially affecting the original integrity of the article in order to accommodate the removable component: in particular, but without limitation, such that after the component(s) are manufactured to receive the article, in another exemplary embodiment, the optional component(s) can be closely fitted to the article; or in another exemplary embodiment, the optional component(s) can be tightly reattached to the article; or in another exemplary embodiment, the optional component(s) can be retrofitted to the article closely. In some embodiments, the carrier is expandable to allow the carrier to accommodate different replaceable containers of varying sizes (whether small or large) without the need to separately deploy different carriers:

In some embodiments, for example but not exclusively, a luggage case, or a regular bag, or a shoe includes a container located in a housing. The present invention provides for the container to be stretch-proof, ranging from soft in another exemplary embodiment to hard in another exemplary embodiment. The present invention provides for the tensility of the shell ranging from soft in another exemplary embodiment to hard in another exemplary embodiment. The container and the housing are separated until attached to each other. The housing surrounds the container. Any of the manufacturer, or seller, or consumer may secure the container within the housing, with the housing surrounding the container, and with the container and housing remaining removable from one another.
Figure 11 shows a luggage case with fasteners fastened to the periphery. The housing only surrounds the container, the contents of the bag are located in the container, not in the housing, and both the container and the housing are correspondingly hinged open and closed such that the housing and the container open and close after they are secured together, while in another exemplary embodiment the housing is opened first and then the container is opened, even after they are secured together. The fastener is located on the outside of the container, particularly along its periphery. The type, number and location of these fasteners correspond to the type, number and location of the fasteners on the housing. Such as but not limited to: the number, spacing and location of fasteners (e.g., but not necessarily, in the center of the base and lid and at the periphery) are design preferences in terms of bag shape, size and loadability. In this embodiment, the shape, size and dimensions of the housing correspond to those of the container, with any difference in these being preferred aspects of the product design, as long as the container and housing are allowed to be secured together when the housing surrounds the container. Like a clam, the shell embraces the container. The fasteners on the inside of the housing correspond to the type, location and number of fasteners on the outside of the container. In this embodiment, the fastener is a screw that is threaded from inside the open container into a socket in the housing to tighten the container and housing together. Whether the screws are concealed behind or exposed to the lining of the container (e.g., when recessed) is a preferred option for product design. Now, the exterior of the bag comprises the outer shell, including the lid and the bottom and the interior of the container. In this embodiment, the receptacle shields the recessed screws from behind the liner. When the container comprises a retractable handle, a cut-out with an openable and closable cap at the top end of the housing when vertical allows the handle (T in this figure) to protrude through the housing.
In some embodiments, i.e., a piece of luggage, the removability allows for the replacement of the housing with a different housing while retaining the same container, or allows for the replacement of the container with a different container while retaining the housing. Alternatives allow for changes in: for example, but not necessarily limited to, functionality (e.g., a different series of bags, or electronics, or reinforcements) in another exemplary embodiment, or appearance (e.g., color, pattern, image) in another exemplary embodiment, or material (e.g., replacing an existing housing with one having increased durability while reducing weight) in another exemplary embodiment, without having to forego a container to obtain the changed cost. Further, in another exemplary embodiment, the wear and tear of the housing may be addressed by the expense of replacing only the housing without replacing the vessel, and the wear and tear of the vessel may be addressed by the expense of replacing only the vessel without replacing the housing, as compared to handling the entire housing without repair.
The container is slid into the housing and the housing surrounds the container. After the respective housing and the respective container are manufactured, the container and the housing are secured together by any of several means available at the time (whether now or in the future), such as, but not limited to: in another exemplary embodiment, screws that can be screwed into their sockets by a person; or in another exemplary embodiment, a magnetic element, or in another exemplary embodiment, a zipper. In another exemplary embodiment, the present invention provides the option of means to secure the housing and container together, with respect to the means available at the time (whether now or in the future).
Each of the housing and container has its own lid:
□ since the protection of the contents is provided by a container that includes a sturdy lid, the housing including the lid may be as thin as possible to still provide support for items such as, but not necessarily limited to, bags.
□ the present invention provides a choice between: the lid of the housing is attached to the lid of the container such that opening the lid of the housing also opens the lid of the container, or opening the lid of the housing is separate from opening the lid of the container.
□ in another exemplary embodiment, when two separate steps are required to open the lid, such as, but not necessarily limited to, two codes in another exemplary embodiment, or two biometrics in another exemplary embodiment, or a hybrid of various means or devices in another exemplary embodiment, separately opening the housing and the lid of the container may add a measure of security.
In another exemplary embodiment, a typical retractable handle of a luggage case may protrude through the housing. In another exemplary embodiment, there is a cut-out in the housing at a location corresponding to the point where the handle is located in the container, the cut-out being large enough to allow the handle to extend through the housing. In another exemplary embodiment, the housing may include a cap that seals an opening above the retracted handle to protect the handle by sliding the cap closed and uncover the opening when the cover is slid open.
In another exemplary embodiment, the housing allows for the wheels of the luggage case. In another exemplary embodiment, the wheels are located at the ends of the bag so that the bag stands on the wheels when the bag is upright. At the end of the housing corresponding to the end of the container from which the wheel protrudes, there is a cut-out at a position corresponding to the position of the wheel, so that the wheel protrudes through the housing to rotate even if the housing is closed. In another exemplary embodiment: the wheels cannot be unscrewed from their sockets in the container, the housing contains cutouts through which the wheels enter the sockets and through which screwing the wheels into the sockets secures the wheels back to the container, as before, and the wheels protrude through the housing for rotation to support the bag comprising the container and the housing.
In another exemplary embodiment, only one or both of the separable series-connected housing and receptacle may house an electronic processing module powered by the electrification. In another exemplary embodiment, the present invention provides: the option of electrification from the tank to the enclosure in another exemplary embodiment, or from the enclosure to the tank in another exemplary embodiment, or separately operating in each of the enclosure and the tank in another exemplary embodiment. The choice of power source is provided to provide current, such as, but not limited to, a rechargeable battery, in another exemplary embodiment a conventional watch battery, or in another exemplary embodiment a mobile battery, or in another exemplary embodiment a storage unit that supplements the solar cell on the bag.
In another exemplary embodiment, similarly, the construction of the container may be robust regardless of the external appearance of the container, as the container is located within a separable housing.
In another exemplary embodiment, the interior of the shell may be shielded by attaching a removable interior "skin piece" rather than a permanent liner. The interior of the container may be decorated by attaching a removable inner skin member rather than a permanent liner. The present invention provides the option of allowing for repackaging of the interior of both the container and the housing in another exemplary embodiment, or just the interior of the container in another exemplary embodiment, or just the interior of the housing in another exemplary embodiment. In another exemplary embodiment, the removable inner skin piece includes additional functionality, such as, but not necessarily limited to, any of the following: electrification such as LEDs for projecting light on the contents in another exemplary embodiment, or electronics (e.g., sensors) in another exemplary embodiment, or a combination of various functions in another exemplary embodiment. In another exemplary embodiment, the additional functionality is delivered by replacing the existing skin piece with a new skin piece that includes the additional functionality without having to replace the entire housing, or container, or entire bag. In another exemplary embodiment, an electrified power source, such as a rechargeable battery, in another exemplary embodiment a conventional watch battery, or in another exemplary embodiment a mobile battery, or in another exemplary embodiment a storage unit that supplements the solar cells on the pack, may be located in any of the following: in another exemplary embodiment, a skin piece, or in another exemplary embodiment, a housing, or in another exemplary embodiment, a container. In another exemplary embodiment, the present invention provides for the selection of where the power source is located. When certain electronics in the skin piece require electronic processing, the processor may be located in any of the following: in another exemplary embodiment, a skin piece, or in another exemplary embodiment, a housing, or in another exemplary embodiment, a container, to communicate with the electronic device(s), whether by wire in another exemplary embodiment or wirelessly in another exemplary embodiment. The invention provides a choice of how the processor and the device communicate.
The invention provides that, for safety reasons, in another exemplary embodiment, the housing has an opening allowing the handle of the bag to protrude from the container, or the housing comprises a contour of the core of the handle protruding from the container, so that the handle fits within the contour as part of the housing, not only reinforcing the handle, but also allowing to change the exterior of the handle in another exemplary embodiment, whether in another exemplary embodiment the appearance, or in another exemplary embodiment the tactile sensation, or in another exemplary embodiment even additional functionality, e.g. electrical/electronic.
Figure 7a shows a bag with a sleeve containing a removable panel. There are various shaped cuts on the side(s) of the bag, showing the permanent color of the interior without a panel, while in an array that does not exceed the size of the sleeve within the bag. Fig. 7b shows a top view of the bag with the sleeve 7. On the inside of each of the sides with the cut-outs is a second piece of material, in this embodiment straight. Three edges of the second piece are attached to the inside of the sides, leaving an open seam between the top of the second piece, between it and the outside of the bag, forming a sleeve. The panel may be slid in and out of the sleeve so that the panel may be replaced with another panel. Within the sleeve, the faceplate is shown by a cut-out. Replacing an existing panel with a different panel will display the different panel through the same cut.
In another exemplary embodiment, the housing and container combination may alter the exterior of the shoe while maintaining the generally expensive interior function of the chassis, and in another exemplary embodiment, may include custom fitting (e.g., by using custom lasts, while the invention is also suitable for mass market footwear). The appearance of footwear has become as valuable as the function of the footwear. In addition, athletic shoes have incorporated additional functionality, typically electronic, that adds value to changing exteriors while maintaining the chassis.
In order to make the security between the shell and the chassis (container including the feet) both snug and light, the invention provides for the use of one or more devices available at the time (whether now or in the future); for example, but not limited to, very tiny fasteners (e.g., snaps, or screws, or tongue in groove) in another exemplary embodiment, or adhesive elements (e.g., ultra-thin double-sided tape) in another exemplary embodiment, or magnetic elements in another exemplary embodiment, to hold the interior of the shoe's shell and the exterior of the foot's receptacle together at specific points, particularly at the following locations: in another exemplary embodiment, where the rim of the housing and the rim of the base meet when the base and container have been formed together into a body; and in another exemplary embodiment, where the notch of the housing allows, for example, the strap and container to meet, while the housing and container remain separable. In another exemplary embodiment: the shoe may include a removable sole that is separable from the container, and a housing and container that are separable so that the sole can be replaced without having to discard the container; this embodiment, the top of the base and the bottom of the container are removably attached by means such as bonding the housing and the container together. In another exemplary embodiment: the housing permanently bonds the base such that: the shoe is provided with a container, a shell and a sole when the shell surrounds the container. In another exemplary embodiment: the base is separable from the housing such that the base can be replaced without having to discard the housing, and the housing can be replaced without having to discard the container and the base, and the container is discardable without having to discard the housing and the base. In some other exemplary embodiments, any, some, or all of the base, housing, and reservoir include electrification and/or electronic processing, the functions facilitated by which may differ among the base, housing, and reservoir, such as, but not necessarily limited to, a pedometer associated with the base, a global positioning sensor associated with the housing, and a fresh nebulizer associated with the reservoir.
Where the shoe has means for closing the shoe around the foot, e.g. a lace in another exemplary embodiment, or a hook and loop in another exemplary embodiment, or a zipper in another exemplary embodiment, the invention provides that these means are located on the container in another exemplary embodiment to protrude through a cut in the shell, or on the shell in another exemplary embodiment to keep the shell tightly around the container and the foot as the foot slides in and out of the fitted container, allowing-possibly as desired by the consumer-to satisfy the one-foot friendly custom-made container in various ways by changing the shell, e.g. at the workplace (whether office, or factory, or off-site in another exemplary embodiment), for casual wear in another exemplary embodiment, and in another exemplary embodiment exercise.
To increase resistance to water penetration into the shoe in another exemplary embodiment, or in another exemplary embodiment, the package, or other product comprising the shell and the container, the edges of the shell and the container where they meet are coated with a water resistant material, in another exemplary embodiment, such that: the material is a barrier to permeation when the housing and container are pressed together in securing them together. In another exemplary embodiment, the material covering the relevant edge is a permanent foam. The present invention provides for the selection of waterproof materials to cover those edges, depending on the appropriate materials available at the time (whether present or future).
While the removability of the housing allows the housing to be replaced without having to discard the container, in another exemplary embodiment, when the occurrence of, for example but not necessarily limited to: in the event of wear of the container, the housing may be retained for use with a subsequent container without having to discard the housing(s).
Whether in a luggage case, or other bag, or shoe, the case may house, in the same manner as in a one-piece bag, accessory(s) of additional component(s), such as, but not limited to, a panel(s) in another exemplary embodiment, or a pouch(s) in another exemplary embodiment, or a light in another exemplary embodiment, or an enclosure such as a skin piece in another exemplary embodiment, or electrification for powering device(s) in another exemplary embodiment, or electronics in another exemplary embodiment.
As in the panel, electrification in the housing can activate any of the following: in another exemplary embodiment, the element(s) in the housing, and in another exemplary embodiment, the additional component(s) on the housing, and in another exemplary embodiment, the element(s) in the container. In another exemplary embodiment, the electrically powered element(s) may function independently of the receptacle in one exemplary embodiment, or in another exemplary embodiment in cooperation with an electronic processing module, for example, but not necessarily limited to, in the housing, or in another exemplary embodiment in cooperation with an indicator housing in the receptacle or an electronic processing module associated with an external electronic processing module (for example, but not necessarily limited to, in a smartphone that functions as a controller). In another exemplary embodiment, when an unauthorized person (as authenticated by the electronic identification module) attempts to steal a bag, or the enclosure, or even a shoe, the electrification used to activate the enclosure energizes the lights on the enclosure causing it to flash and the alarm energizes it to beep. In another exemplary embodiment, the housing may incorporate an electronic processing module. The invention provides a choice of which power supply supplies current: such as, but not limited to, a rechargeable battery in another exemplary embodiment, a conventional watch battery in another exemplary embodiment, or a mobile battery in another exemplary embodiment, or a storage unit that supplements the solar cell on the package in another exemplary embodiment.
Fig. 19 shows the eyeglass frame 10 with the removable enclosure. Frame (rim) and nosepiece receiving package. Which parts of the frame are to be encapsulated is a preferred solution for the design. For example, but not necessarily, the nosepiece may be held as such in the frame, without the enclosure. In order to allow the hinge of the frame to swing, the enclosure of the end piece is separate from the enclosure of the frame, and to allow a preference whether to enclose the nosepiece at the time of design, in this embodiment the enclosure of the frame is separate. In an alternative embodiment, the frame and the enclosure of the nosepiece are continuous. Whether the package is moldable or two parts to be fastened together is a design preference. In order to allow the hinge of the frame to swing, the enclosure of the end piece is separate from the enclosure of the frame, and to allow a preferred solution of the design of whether or not to enclose the nosepiece, in this embodiment the enclosure of the frame is separate. In an alternative embodiment, the frame and the enclosure of the nosepiece are continuous. Whether the package is moldable or two parts to be fastened together is a design preference.
In some embodiments, eyewear, whether prescription eyewear, or sunglasses, or other eyewear (e.g., 3D, or incorporating a display screen, or protective), includes a simple frame as a substructure, in another exemplary embodiment consisting of wire, and the frame extends from a frame holding the lens around the nosepiece to a hinge, then from the hinge to the temple/endpiece, and the frame is thin enough to be enclosed with a removable enclosure, allowing existing enclosures to be swapped out for other enclosures that also conform to the frame.

In another exemplary embodiment: the pairs of earrings beep differently from each other, only to the extent that they can be heard by the wearer, so that wireless Near Field Communication (NFC) from an application of a smartphone utilizing Global Positioning System (GPS) can beep left or right to the wearer depending on the group's geographic direction; or NFC from an application in a smartphone that utilizes its accelerometer and sensors to detect nearby objects and smart maps issues left or right beeps to the wearer to avoid obstacles; or NFC from a smartphone capable of receiving signals originating from a particular beacon may guide the wearer to a location such as, but not limited to: a store in a mall; listening for beeps from the earring may leave the hand free without having to hold the phone, for example but not only when the wearer of the earring is blind, or someone who is considering both the package and the child, or for general convenience; it is preferable to embed electronic processing in the cosmetic attractive enclosure of the earring relative to machine-like devices, whether in their ear, or near the earring, or generally on their body, at least for some people. In another exemplary embodiment, the electronic processing module and electronics are located in the frame of the earring to allow replacement of the package without losing the functionality delivered by the electronic processing.
In some embodiments, in addition to the frame, earring, or frame of the eyewear, jewelry, such as, but not limited to, a ring in another exemplary embodiment, or a pendant in another exemplary embodiment, or a chain in another exemplary embodiment, includes a sub-structural enclosure, comprised of wire in another exemplary embodiment. In some embodiments, the electronic processing module is associated with an external controller that receives instructions through an application in the smartphone. In another exemplary embodiment, the electronic processing module executes internal instructions in an automated fashion. In another exemplary embodiment, both external and internal controls are optional. In another exemplary embodiment, electronic processing in the electrically activatable ring converts the biometric data into instructions to turn on one or the other of the set of differently colored LED(s) in order to select a color that is appropriate for the mood of the wearer of the ring. In another exemplary embodiment, the electronic processing module and the electrification are located in the framework of a loop to allow for replacement of the package without losing the functionality delivered by the electronic processing.
In another exemplary embodiment, the jewelry is a pull-through decoration, not as easily removed as an earring. Since the trim is usually thin, in another exemplary embodiment, the trim package is correspondingly thin. Even thin packages of through body decoration may allow functionality, in another exemplary embodiment, a luminescent coating on the package.
In some embodiments, the bag is a suitable direct carrying bag that is conventionally worn by women (while men may choose to wear the bag):
■ sets of two panels are attached to the sides of the bag. The present invention provides a separate choice of materials for the bag and the panel, either polyurethane in another exemplary embodiment, or natural in another exemplary embodiment, or a cardboard configuration with a water resistant coating in another exemplary embodiment. In another exemplary embodiment, each panel is reinforced by stitching selvedges.

■ is external to the housing, in another exemplary embodiment a collection of LEDs is sufficient to function as a flashlight, or in another exemplary embodiment, rather than a collection of LEDs, a large LED may be sufficient to function as a flashlight when activated. The flashlight is useful, for example but not necessarily only, in the dark, in the same manner as a headlamp on a vehicle, especially when the traveler is in an unfamiliar environment, and the hand may not be able to freely grasp the flashlight and luggage, bag, etc. simultaneously. In another exemplary embodiment, the spacing of the LED(s) will shine on the ground in front of the traveler when the luggage is pulled.
■ the light path may be switched on and off by the consumer by any of: in another exemplary embodiment, accessible buttons on the housing, or in another exemplary embodiment, remote voice commands wirelessly from an application of an external device (e.g., but not necessarily, a smartphone), or in another exemplary embodiment, any of more than one.
In another exemplary embodiment, the replaceable housing has an array of LEDs, securely enclosing the shoe:
■ located on any or all of the ramps on the exterior of the housing, toward the housing, or around the exterior of the edge of the toe, or in the forward exterior of the housing.
■ the spacing of the LED(s) shows light outward toward the ground, similar to the headlights of an automobile, to illuminate the ground directly in front of a pedestrian to highlight any hazards in the terrain.
■ to conserve power, when the LEDs project a sufficiently wide beam, the preferred solution may exclude LEDs on the forward exterior of the housing, supporting only the other side of the shoe and the toe of the shoe, or even only the toe of the shoe.
In another exemplary embodiment, the housing has one LED equivalent to the array,
in another exemplary embodiment, is a panel on a bag:
■ the panel includes a material, or an element, or elements that may be electrically active.
■ include more than one layer of film overlying the panel responsive to electrical current. In another exemplary embodiment, the LED may replace the film. A separate electrical switch without electronic processing is sufficient to accomplish a simple modification of the electrically activatable panel, such as, but not limited to, changing from an existing pattern coated on one electrically activatable layer on the panel to another pattern on a different electrically activatable layer of film coated on the panel. In another exemplary embodiment, the panel may incorporate an electronic processing module to orchestrate the changes effected by the electrically activatable element(s) of the panel.
■ in another exemplary embodiment, an electronic processing module as a controller instructs an electronic switching module in the panel to change the color, or pattern, or even the image of the panel. In another exemplary embodiment, the controller is in the panel. In another exemplary embodiment, the controller is in a package. In another exemplary embodiment, the controller is a remote application that communicates wirelessly, for example, via Near Field Communication (NFC) from an external device, such as, but not limited to, a smartphone. In another exemplary embodiment: the smartphone houses an application for reading the emotion, the list of categories associated with the emotion and the corresponding graphics (e.g. colour) on the panel in a biological way, and then the controller instructs the panel to adopt a colour corresponding to the emotion.
In some embodiments, the package of wires that is the frame of the eyeglasses:
■ the material of the package is resilient, such as but not necessarily limited to: plastic, or silicone, or nanofibers.
■ the shape of the package simulates the running of the wires of the frame.
■ the package has a thin cavity extending through the package. Under moderate pressure, the package can be pried open by the average consumer to load the wires of the frame into the cavity. Whether the enclosure encloses the entire wire or only the temple/end piece is a design preference.
Figure 14 shows an umbrella with a removable enclosure 9. Although this embodiment attaches a package around both the tip and the handle, it is a design preference to package both or only one of them. The replaceable package corresponds to the shape of the tip and the replaceable package corresponds to the shape of the handle. Whether the package is wrapped or slipped is a design preference, and whether the package is fastened by elasticity or the package is secured by fasteners is also a design preference.
In some embodiments, is an umbrella:
■ in another exemplary embodiment, the enclosure closes the end of the umbrella to a point at the end to allow the point to protrude as usual. The enclosure wraps snugly around the end of the umbrella like a surgical bandage to allow protrusion of the point, which in another exemplary embodiment may have a cap. To be removable and replaceable, the package of the package is closed and opened by any suitable fastening means available at the time (whether now or in the future), such as, but not limited to, a snap in another exemplary embodiment, or a hook and loop in another exemplary embodiment, or an adhesive member (such as, but not limited to, a double sided tape) in another exemplary embodiment.
■ in another exemplary embodiment, the enclosure wraps snugly around the handle of the umbrella, like a surgical bandage, shorter than the shaft of the umbrella. The combination of the handle and the package is graspable. To be removable and replaceable, the package of the package is closed and opened by any suitable fastening means available at the time (whether now or in the future), such as, but not limited to, a snap in another exemplary embodiment, or a hook and loop in another exemplary embodiment, or an adhesive member (such as, but not limited to, a double sided tape) in another exemplary embodiment.
■ in another exemplary embodiment, the package slides onto and off of the handle like a sock, the package enclosing the handle of the umbrella so that the combination of the handle and the package is graspable. The material of the package is sufficiently resilient that it can expand to slide onto the handle or slide off the handle in a dragging manner and otherwise retract around the handle.
■ the package includes content(s), such as electronics, that are sufficiently flexible in the package to allow wrapping around the corresponding portion of the umbrella.
■ in another exemplary embodiment, the handle of the umbrella is replaceable by screwing the handle onto and off the shaft of the umbrella to allow for the introduction of functionality via replacement of one handle with another (such as, but not limited to, electrification in another exemplary embodiment, or electronic processing in another exemplary embodiment, or a hook of a hanging bag in another exemplary embodiment).
■ in another exemplary embodiment, a package has at least one element that is activatable by an electric current, whether in, on, or with the package. In another exemplary embodiment, the electrically activatable element is an LED. The current flows from a portable power source associated with the enclosure of the article. In another exemplary embodiment, the power source is a rechargeable lightweight battery, and in another exemplary embodiment, the power source is a conventional watch battery. In another exemplary embodiment, the power source is a needle battery in the package. In another exemplary embodiment, the power source is located in the handle. To conduct the current to the electrically activatable element, the filament travels from a point of contact with the power source, through the package, to the electrically activatable element (e.g., LED).
■ in another exemplary embodiment where the package receives current, the package has at least one electronic processing module (whether in or on or with the package). This may be independent. In another exemplary embodiment, it may be associated with other functions in the umbrella, and in another exemplary embodiment, it may be associated with other functions in another umbrella in a similar embodiment; or in another exemplary embodiment it may be associated with some other external electronic process, such as, but not limited to, a smartphone, typically but not necessarily wireless.
■ in another exemplary embodiment, the package encloses only the handle.
■ in another exemplary embodiment, the enclosure closes only the end of the umbrella.
■ in another exemplary embodiment, the package encloses the handle and the package encloses the end. Neither package need be identical in appearance, or feel, or function. The consumer may wish to have an appearance, or feel, or function, such as, but not necessarily limited to: an LED on the package of the handle for emitting light and a flashing light beacon on the package at the end of the top of the umbrella to warn the driver when turned on.
In some embodiments, including for example but not limited to: a convertible bag, a pair of convertible shoes, and a convertible eyeglass frame. Changing the appearance of each product allows the overall collective exterior (such as, but not limited to, popular exterior color schemes, or popular exterior image themes, or popular exterior materials, such as seasonal) to be changed without changing the product. The set is expandable to include, for example, but not limited to, a pair of convertible athletic shoes, a piece of convertible luggage, a convertible umbrella, a convertible eyeglass frame, a pair of convertible earrings, and a piece of convertible jewelry.
The features set out in the appended claims, jointly and individually where appropriate, form part of the present disclosure and are incorporated herein by reference.
While various embodiments or implementations have been described herein, it should be recognized that they have been presented for purposes of illustration, and not limitation. It is to be appreciated that portions or components of various exemplary embodiments can be extracted to be combined and/or mixed and matched where appropriate to form further variations without loss of generality.

Claims (12)

1. A system for tightly introducing a removable component onto a component-receiving article without requiring the removable component to be received at the time of manufacture of the article and without substantially affecting the original integrity of the article in order to receive the removable component, the system comprising:
a.) the component receives an item;
b.) at least one removable component that is closely fittable to, or closely refittable to, or closely retrofittable to, the component-receiving item such that the removable component is replaceable with a similar component that is also removable, or replaceable with a dissimilar component that is also removable, or even discardable without replacement;
wherein the removable component is tightly secured to the component receiving article, or to another removable component on the component receiving article, without the need to accommodate the removable component at the time of manufacture of the article, and also without substantially affecting the original integrity of the article in order to accommodate the removable component, and the removable component is thus attached to the component receiving article after manufacture of the component receiving article, and the removable component is separable from the component-receiving article to allow replacement of the removable component with another removable component or to discard the removable component without replacement, thereby facilitating changing the appearance of or adding functionality to the component-receiving article, without affecting the original integrity of the component-receiving article at the time of manufacture of the component-receiving article prior to introduction of any of the systems and methods described herein.
2. The system of claim 1, wherein the removable component is an accessory, preferably in the form of a panel, a sleeve, a belt as a carrier, a housing, an enclosure, and/or a component utilizing electrical or electronic means.
3. The system of claim 1, wherein the component-receiving item is a container in a housing configuration.
4. The system of claim 3, wherein the container is a bag, a luggage case, or a shoe.
5. The system of claim 1, wherein the replaceable removable component and the succeeding component can be of different shaped configurations and need not be identical to the component receiving article, and wherein when more than one component can be attached to the component receiving article, the configurations of the components can be identical or non-identical to each other, and wherein any of the components on the component receiving article can communicate with some other of the components whether the other of the components are on the same article or elsewhere.
6. The system of claim 1, wherein the replaceable removable component is made of a natural or synthetic material and is not necessarily the same material as the component-receiving item.
7. The system of claim 1, wherein the component receiving item comprises an electrical device comprising at least:
a.) current-carrying contacts
b.) filaments for conducting electricity
c.) a battery.
8. The system of claim 1, wherein the component receiving article comprises an electronic device including at least an electronic microprocessor.
9. The system of claim 1, wherein the removable component may be luminescent.
10. The system of claim 1, wherein the fastener attaching a removable component to a component receiving article allows both the component to be tightly seated on the component receiving article and the component to be easily removed from the component receiving article by some or other removable means by virtue of the separability of the tight fastener, such as but not limited to: snaps, hook and loop, adhesives, stickers, magnets, zippers, buttons, screws, tongue in groove, hook and loop, ties, tensioning elements.
11. The system of claim 1, wherein the component-receiving article is a packageable article.
12. The system of claim 11, wherein the packable item is an eyeglass frame, jewelry, earring, or umbrella.
