背景技术

发明内容
本发明消除了这些问题。这是一个大型的容器系统,它使用可以轻松更换的廉价材料来产生二氧化碳。而且,它足够大以产生更大的热信号,这有助于吸引更多臭虫。最后,它被设计用于空房间。在运行过程中,不应让人们进入房间,以使其在尽可能短的时间内吸引并捕获尽可能多的臭虫。

具体实施方式
现在参考附图,特别是图1和2,示出了臭虫陷阱10。陷阱10具有如图1所示的多个堆叠和嵌套的容器。图2以分解图的形式显示了这些容器。最上面的容器11是具有可移除的顶部11a的大型中空器皿。如下面所讨论的,糖、水和酵母的混合物容纳在此容器。将该容器放入中间容器12中。注意中间容器12的底部12a。该容器也是中空器皿。如图所示,加热垫12b存储在该容器的底部。注意加热垫12b的电源线12c和开关12d。上部容器11设计成装配在加热垫12b的顶部上,这使得能够加热以加热容纳在上部容器11中的糖、水和酵母混合物。

在臭虫陷阱10的底部是容纳容器14。如所示,下部容器13装配到容纳容器中。容纳容器14的外表面具有粗糙的表面(注意该粗糙的表面覆盖了容器的整个外表面),该粗糙的表面允许臭虫爬入容纳容器中。容纳容器的内部是光滑的,以便臭虫一旦进入容纳容器14就被捕获。可以添加一些粉末杀虫剂,例如硅藻土,以迅速杀死臭虫。在使用中,臭虫在容纳容器14和下部容器13中都被发现。
在已组装设备之后,已经添加糖/酵母/水混合物和接通加热垫时,该设备的操作是自动的。一旦糖/酵母/水混合物开始释放CO2,臭虫就被吸引了。随着时间的流逝,人们只需要补充糖/酵母/水的混合物,并清理容纳容器和下部容器。

图5是组装好的臭虫陷阱的透视图,示出了替代性的集水器系统。该设备还可以通过在软管16中制作一个回路19并添加少量水100来工作,该水被捕集在回路19中。这可以使CO2逸出并仍然提供气体的脉冲输送。尽管此替代方法可行,但不是优选。

要组装陷阱,需要执行以下步骤。首先,混合所需量的水、糖和酵母。如图所示,上部容器11在其上具有两个标记。一个是一加仑标记20,第二个是二加仑标记21。更多的水和酵母产生更多的CO2。在优选的实施例中,使用两加仑水在100°F下与6杯糖和3汤匙酵母混合。重要的是准确测量水平并监控温度。当水达到100°F时,将具有气闸17的顶部11a放在上部容器上的适当位置(并根据气闸上的标记填充)。水的温度应在约105至107华氏度之间,以产生最佳水平的CO2。但是,高于100华氏度的温度将杀死酵母并停止产生CO2
接下来,将软管16附接到气闸并将上部容器放入中间容器12中。此时,加热垫12b被接通。注意,软管16已经安装在中间容器中并且从中间容器的底部伸出,如图2所示。

臭虫被吸引到设备上,并会爬到容纳容器14的外表面。一旦进入内部,光滑的表面会将它们保持在容纳容器中。臭虫也可能进入下部容器。可以清除所有被捕的臭虫,并清洁和重置陷阱部件。这样,臭虫可以方便而可靠地捕获和销毁。
在优选实施例中,容器是大的(顶部容器最多为五加仑)。但是,该设备可以制成任何尺寸。例如,如果需要的话,例如,可以在旅馆房间中使用具有夸脱大小的顶部容器的小型旅行单元。

Claims (11)

b)中间容器,在其中具有热源;
c)下部容器,该下部容器具有围绕所述下部容器的下部周边形成的多个孔;和
d)具有粗糙的外表面和光滑的内表面的容纳容器;
