Background
At present, users who like reading are increasing. Electronic books have gained favor among a large number of users due to their portability. The book-type electronic book comprises a large number of illustrations, and presents rich contents for users in a mode of combining pictures and texts. In the conventional method, the page turning processing method of the photo-like electronic book is not different from that of the conventional electronic book, and the conventional page turning processing operation is performed. For example, after page turning, thumbnails of the pictures are fixedly displayed, and after an original image viewing instruction triggered by a user is received, an original image is acquired and displayed.
However, the above solutions in the prior art have at least the following drawbacks: due to different reading habits of various users, the page turning processing mode which is uniform is obviously difficult to meet the diversified requirements of different users. For example, for a user who wants to see a picture, the reading efficiency is inevitably seriously reduced and the reading time is increased by triggering the original picture viewing instruction for the thumbnails of all the pictures one by one; for the user who never sees the image, the original image with higher pixels is shown to influence the typesetting space of the text part, and the data transmission delay is increased, so that the page turning response speed is reduced. Therefore, a more intelligent page turning processing mode is urgently needed for the photo electronic books so as to meet the actual requirements of different users and further improve the reading efficiency.

Rather, these embodiments are provided so that this disclosure will be thorough and complete, and will fully convey the scope of the disclosure to those skilled in the art.
Example one
Fig. 1 is a flowchart illustrating a page turning processing method for a photo-like e-book according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 1, the method comprises the steps of:
step S110: and acquiring picture interaction data of a user aiming at the picture electronic book.
The photo e-book refers to an e-book in which the book body contains pictures. Furthermore, the photo electronic book and the non-photo electronic book can be divided according to the total number of the pictures contained in the book body and the image-text proportion. For example, an electronic book containing more picture content in the main body may be determined as a picture-like electronic book.
The picture interaction data of the user for the picture electronic book mainly refers to: user interaction data associated with the pictures triggered by the user during reading of the picture-like e-book. For example, the instruction includes an original image viewing instruction, a picture collecting instruction, a picture sharing instruction and the like triggered by the picture. In a word, all the user interaction data triggered by the picture can be used as the picture interaction data in the invention, and the picture interaction data aims to reflect the related information such as the interaction times, the interaction frequency, the interaction mode and the like of the user and the picture in the book.
Step S120: and determining the reading preference of the user according to the picture interaction data.
The picture interaction data can reflect the interaction times, interaction frequency, interaction modes and other related information of the user and the pictures in the book, so that the reading preference of the user can be determined according to the picture interaction data. The reading preference mainly refers to a preference associated with a picture reading mode, and for example, the reading preference includes a picture viewing preference and a non-picture viewing preference.
Step S130: when a page turning instruction triggered by a user for a picture electronic book is received, processing corresponding to the reading preference of the user is executed on picture elements contained in a reading page displayed after page turning according to the reading preference of the user.
Specifically, when a page turning instruction triggered by a user for a photo-like e-book is received, reading preference of the current user is acquired, and correspondingly, according to the reading preference of the current user, processing corresponding to the reading preference of the user is executed for picture elements contained in a reading page displayed after page turning. For users looking at the picture preference, a processing mode of loading original picture content can be executed for picture elements; for users who do not see the picture preferences, the original picture content in the book can be processed into thumbnail form.
For example, in some electronic books, a portion of the pictures are presented in thumbnail form, and another portion of the pictures are presented in original picture form. Correspondingly, for the electronic book, when the current user is identified as the user with the preference of viewing pictures, the thumbnail-form picture contained in the page after page turning is reloaded as the original picture so as to be convenient for the user to look up; when the current user is identified as the user with the preference of the non-image-viewing type, the original image contained in the page after page turning is processed into a thumbnail form, so that the display speed is improved. The above method is mainly used for processing the presentation mode of the picture.
As another example, in some electronic books, the interactive instruction triggered for the picture may be triggered by a hot zone set on the picture. For example, hot areas for viewing the original image are set for the left and right sides of the picture, a picture collection hot area is set for the top of the picture, and a picture sharing hot area is set for the bottom of the picture. The hot zone range of a part of hot zones may coincide with other types of operations (such as page turning operation, HOME key invoking operation), and at this time, it is also necessary to set a response priority for the hot zones that coincide with each other, so as to preferentially respond to the operation instruction corresponding to the hot zone with a higher priority. Accordingly, when processing corresponding to the reading preference of the user is executed for the picture element contained in the reading page displayed after page turning, in addition to changing the presentation mode of the picture element, the hot area range and the response priority of the hot area corresponding to the picture element can be further changed. For example, for a user looking at the picture preference, the hot area range of the picture interaction hot area is enlarged, and the response priority is increased, so that the user can quickly and conveniently interact with the picture; for another example, for a user who does not have a preference for the picture-through-picture category, the hotspot range of the picture interaction hotspot is made smaller, and the response priority is made lower, so as to facilitate the user to perform other types of interactive operations.
In addition, when processing corresponding to the reading preference of the user is executed for the picture elements included in the reading page displayed after page turning, the processing may be implemented in other various ways besides the above way, as long as convenience is provided for reading of the user, and the specific processing way is not limited in the present invention.
Therefore, in the mode provided by the invention, the reading preference of each user can be determined according to the picture interaction data of the user, the reading preference can reflect whether the user tends to check the original picture, and correspondingly, different page turning processing modes are executed for the users with different reading preferences so as to meet the actual requirements of various users and improve the reading efficiency.
Example two
Fig. 2 is a flowchart illustrating a page turning processing method for a photo-like e-book according to another embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 2, the method comprises the steps of:
step S200: the electronic books in the electronic book database are divided into photo-type electronic books and non-photo-type electronic books in advance.
This step is an optional step, and may be omitted in other embodiments of the present invention. In this step, the electronic books with the total number of pictures greater than the preset picture threshold value can be divided into picture-type electronic books according to the total number of pictures contained in each electronic book; the electronic books with the image-text proportion higher than the preset image-text threshold value can be divided into picture electronic books according to the image-text proportion; the electronic book of the preset type can be divided into the photo-type electronic book according to the type of the electronic book, and the specific dividing mode is not limited by the invention. For example, a script type of ebook, a magazine type of ebook, and/or a tool type of ebook may be classified as a photo-like ebook, which typically contains a large number of illustrations.
In summary, a photo-like e-book refers to: the electronic book comprises a large number of pictures and has a reading requirement in the process of reading the book by a user.
Step S210: and acquiring picture interaction data of a user aiming at the picture electronic book.
Specifically, for each user, the picture interaction data of the user for each picture-class electronic book in the historical reading process is acquired in advance. The picture electronic book comprises a plurality of pictures and can better reflect the reading habits of the user, so that the picture electronic book and the non-picture electronic book are divided in advance, and the corresponding picture interaction data are obtained only aiming at the picture electronic book, so that the accuracy of the picture interaction data is improved, and the reading requirements of the user can be reflected more truly.
Of course, in other embodiments of the present invention, the picture-type e-book and the non-picture-type e-book may not be divided, and the picture interaction data corresponding to the books in the whole network may be counted.
The picture interaction data of the user for the picture electronic book mainly refers to: user interaction data associated with the pictures triggered by the user during reading of the picture-like e-book. For example, the instructions include instructions of various interaction types such as an original image viewing instruction, a picture collecting instruction, a picture sharing instruction and the like triggered by pictures. In a word, all the user interaction data triggered by the picture can be used as the picture interaction data in the invention, and the picture interaction data aims to reflect the related information such as the interaction times, the interaction frequency, the interaction mode and the like of the user and the picture in the book.
Step S220: and determining the reading preference of the user according to the picture interaction data.
Specifically, according to picture interaction data, determining the interaction times, interaction types and/or interaction frequencies of a user and pictures contained in a picture electronic book; and determining the reading preference of the user according to the interaction times, the interaction types and/or the interaction frequency. Wherein, the more the number of interaction times and the higher the interaction frequency, the more the user tends to read the graph. For example, when the number of interactions is greater than a first preset number and/or the interaction frequency is higher than a first preset frequency, determining the reading preference of the user as the viewing picture preference; and when the number of interaction times is less than a second preset number of times and/or the interaction frequency is lower than a second preset frequency, determining the reading preference of the user to be the non-viewing-picture preference. The first preset frequency and the second preset frequency may be the same or different, and the first preset frequency and the second preset frequency may be the same or different.
Optionally, the number of interactions further includes: the method comprises the steps of obtaining the total number of times of interaction for all pictures contained in the electronic book, the number of continuous interaction for a plurality of pictures appearing in the electronic book continuously, and the number of time period interaction within a preset time period. Accordingly, the first preset number of times further includes: a first preset total number of times, a first preset continuous number of times, and a first preset time period number of times; and, the second preset number of times further comprises: a second preset total number, a second preset continuous number and a second preset time period number; the first preset total number and/or the second preset total number are/is determined according to the total number of all pictures contained in the electronic book. By further subdividing the number of interactions into multiple types, the user's viewing preferences can be more accurately reflected. For example, the total number of interactions can reflect the total number of interactions triggered by the user in the whole book reading process, so that the comprehensive interaction condition in the whole book reading process is reflected. The number of consecutive interactions can reflect the number of interactions of the user with respect to a plurality of pictures appearing consecutively, for example, assuming that a plurality of pictures numbered 1-20 are sequentially included in the electronic book, wherein the user performs one interaction operation with respect to fig. 1 to 14, respectively, does not perform an interaction operation with respect to fig. 15, and performs one interaction operation with respect to fig. 16 to 20, respectively, and accordingly, the number of consecutive interactions is 14 and 5, respectively. Therefore, the continuous interaction times can reflect the continuous times of the continuous operation of the user. The time interval interaction times can reflect the total interaction times of the user in a preset time interval, and the user can read the whole electronic book in multiple time intervals, so the total interaction times in all the time intervals can reflect the interaction depth of the time intervals. Similarly, the interaction frequency can be further divided into a total interaction frequency, a continuous interaction frequency and a time interval interaction frequency, and the preset frequency can be further divided into a preset total frequency, a preset continuous frequency and a preset time interval frequency. In conclusion, the accuracy of the reading preference can be further improved through the method.
Further optionally, the aforementioned interaction types may include: the method comprises the steps of checking an original image type, a picture sharing type, a picture collecting type, a picture consulting auxiliary description information type, a picture association search type and the like. Different weights can be set for various interaction types according to the importance and/or the interaction depth of different interaction types, correspondingly, weighting can be carried out on various types of interaction operations to obtain interaction scores, and then the reading preference of the user is determined according to the interaction scores. Therefore, in the method, corresponding weights are set for various interaction types in advance, and the interaction score of the user is calculated according to the interaction times and the interaction weights corresponding to the various interaction types so as to determine the reading preference of the user according to the interaction score. For example, the picture interaction data of the user a includes 3 times of interaction operations for viewing the original picture type, 5 times of interaction operations for picture association search type, and 8 times of interaction operations for sharing the picture type. Assuming that the weight value of the interactive operation for viewing the original image type is 0.5, the weight value of the interactive operation for the picture association search type is 0.4, and the weight value of the interactive operation for sharing the picture type is 0.1, the interaction score M of the user a is 3 × 0.5+5 × 0.4+8 × 0.1. By the method, the interaction scores of the users can be respectively calculated, and accordingly, the reading preference of the user with the interaction score larger than the preset score threshold is determined as the picture viewing preference according to the preset score threshold; and determining the reading preference of the user with the interaction score not larger than the preset score threshold value as the non-picture-of-view preference. Therefore, the user's viewing preference can be more accurately determined by combining the weight values corresponding to various interaction types. In practical situations, the user's view preference may be determined by comprehensively considering the total number of interactions, the number of consecutive interactions, the number of time interval interactions, and the weight values corresponding to various types of interactions. Of course, in other embodiments, the viewing preference of the user may also be determined directly according to the interaction type, for example, a preset interaction type (i.e., a preset type) is predetermined, and the reading preference of the user who performs the interaction operation including the preset interaction type in the picture interaction data is determined as the viewing preference. The preset interaction type can be a type which can reflect the interest degree of the user for the picture, such as a type of referring to the picture auxiliary description information and/or a picture associated search type.
Step S230: when a page turning instruction triggered by a user for a picture electronic book is received, judging whether the reading preference of the user is a picture viewing preference; if yes, go to step S240; if not, go to step S250.
In a specific implementation, steps S210 to S220 may be performed in advance before step S230, so as to determine the reading preference of each user in advance. Alternatively, steps S210 to S220 may be executed in parallel with step S230, so as to adjust the reading preference of the user in real time, which is not limited in the present invention. Correspondingly, when a page turning instruction triggered by the user for the photo-like electronic book is received, the reading preference of the user is judged so as to determine a specific processing logic according to the judgment result.
Step S240: and processing corresponding to the preference of viewing pictures is performed on the picture elements contained in the reading page displayed after the page turning.
Among them, the processing corresponding to the viewing type preference is mainly used for providing convenience for the user to view the pictures. Thus, any process that can make it easier for a user to interact with a picture can be used with the present invention.
In an implementation manner of this step, first, original picture data corresponding to picture elements included in a reading page displayed after page turning is acquired. In short, the picture elements included in the reading page displayed after page turning only include summary information of the picture and do not include complete information of the picture. Correspondingly, in this step, for each picture element included in the read page displayed after page turning, the original picture data corresponding to the picture element is acquired. The original picture data may be stored in a picture database, including complete pixel information of the original picture.
And then, loading original picture content corresponding to the picture elements in the reading page displayed after page turning according to the original picture data. Specifically, rendering operation is performed according to pixel information included in the original picture data, and an obtained display result is the original picture content. Compared with picture elements, the original picture content is more complete and clear, and picture details are more convenient to view. Therefore, after the processing, the original pictures in the book contents after page turning are directly displayed for the users with the preferences of the pictures, and the users do not need to manually trigger the original picture viewing instructions for each picture element one by one, so that the reading efficiency of the users is improved.
Optionally, after obtaining original picture data corresponding to picture elements included in a read page displayed after page turning, further determining whether picture auxiliary description information stored in association with the original picture data exists; and if so, acquiring the auxiliary description information of the picture. Correspondingly, when original picture content corresponding to the picture elements is loaded in the reading page displayed after page turning according to the original picture data, picture auxiliary description information is further added to the original picture content. The inventor finds that some original pictures of picture elements further contain picture auxiliary description information such as comments and descriptions, and the like in the process of implementing the method, and the information needs a user to further click an auxiliary description entry in the content of the original picture for reference, so that the operation mode is complicated and the efficiency is low. In order to further improve the reading efficiency of the user. In the embodiment, the picture auxiliary description information is directly displayed in the original picture content, so that the picture auxiliary description information is convenient for a user to directly view. Wherein, the picture auxiliary description information can be added to the original picture content in a floating layer form. The reading efficiency of the user can be obviously improved by the mode.
In specific implementation, in order to make the display process of the auxiliary picture description information more pertinent, users with the preference of the picture viewing class may be further subdivided into auxiliary description class preference users and non-auxiliary description class preference users. Wherein, the auxiliary description class preference user tends to browse the picture auxiliary description information, therefore, the operation of adding the picture auxiliary description information to the original picture content is only performed for the auxiliary description class preference user. When the user is classified specifically, the user can be classified according to the interaction score of the user, and the user with the higher interaction score is classified as an auxiliary description type preference user. Or, the number of interactions of the interaction operation of which the interaction type included in the picture interaction data of each user is the type of viewing the picture auxiliary description information may be predetermined, so that the user who frequently views the picture auxiliary description information is determined as the auxiliary description class preference user.
In addition, when the reading page displayed after page turning comprises a plurality of picture elements, in order to facilitate a user to quickly view each picture, original picture contents corresponding to each picture element are loaded in a picture carousel mode, so that the user can alternately play the original picture contents corresponding to each picture element through a carousel entry. For example, the entire picture display area is divided into an original image playback area and a carousel entry area. The original image playing area is located above the carousel entry area and is used for displaying original image contents of currently played image elements. The carousel entry area sequentially comprises a plurality of picture carousel entries, each picture carousel entry is displayed to a user in a picture thumbnail mode, so that the user can roughly know the picture content of the picture carousel entry, and the picture carousel entry is clicked to switch the content of the original image playing area into the picture content corresponding to the picture carousel entry. The method can make full use of the book typesetting space, so that a plurality of pictures share one typesetting space, thereby reducing the space waste and enabling a user to look up the complete content of the original pictures.
In another implementation manner of this step, the number of hot zones, the range of the hot zones, and the response priority of each hot zone corresponding to each picture element included in the reading page may be adjusted, so that the user can interact with the picture more conveniently. For example, when it is determined that the current user is a user with a preference of viewing pictures, the number of hot zones corresponding to the picture element may be increased, for example, hot zones for sharing pictures, collecting pictures, performing associated search for pictures, and giving a feeling of thinking for pictures are added to the picture element, so that the user can quickly interact with the pictures in a diversified manner. For another example, the hot zone range of the hot zone corresponding to the picture element may be expanded, so that the user may more easily trigger the operation through the corresponding hot zone. For another example, the response priority of each hot zone corresponding to a picture element may be set to be higher than the response priority corresponding to other non-picture interaction operations, so that the user preferentially triggers the picture interaction operations.
Step S250: and processing corresponding to the preference of the non-picture-of-view type is performed on picture elements contained in the reading page displayed after page turning.
Wherein, the processing corresponding to the preference of the non-picture class is mainly used for providing convenience for the user to perform the interaction operation of the non-picture class. Therefore, all the processing that can prevent the user from triggering the interactive operation of the pictures by mistake when the interactive operation of the non-pictures is executed can be used in the invention.
In an implementation manner of this step, when the reading preference of the user is a non-viewing preference, the response priority of the picture interaction hot area corresponding to the picture element included in the reading page displayed after page turning is adjusted, so that the response priority of the picture interaction hot area is lower than the response priority of the non-picture interaction hot area corresponding to the non-picture interaction operation. Wherein the non-picture interactive hot zone comprises a page turning interactive hot zone. For example, the response priority of the picture interaction hot area corresponding to the picture element included in the reading page displayed after page turning is adjusted, so that the response priority of the picture interaction hot area is lower than the response priority of the page turning interaction hot area corresponding to the page turning operation. The inventor finds that a hot area range of the picture interaction hot area corresponding to the picture element and a hot area range of the page turning interaction hot area corresponding to the page turning operation may have a partial overlapping area in the process of implementing the invention. For example, the hot area ranges of the page turning interaction hot areas corresponding to the page turning operation are usually located on the left side and the right side of the page, and meanwhile, since the width of the picture element itself is wide, the hot area ranges of the picture interaction hot areas corresponding to the picture elements are likely to coincide with the hot area ranges of the page turning interaction hot areas corresponding to the page turning operation. Accordingly, when the user clicks the right side of the picture element (and at the same time, the right side of the entire page), since the response priority of the picture interaction hot area corresponding to the picture element in the conventional setting is higher than the response priority of the page turning interaction hot area corresponding to the page turning operation, the operation instruction (such as viewing the original image) of the picture interaction hot area corresponding to the picture element is executed. In this embodiment, since it has been determined in advance that the current user is a non-viewing preference user, it is assumed that the actual intention of the user is to turn a page, and accordingly, in this embodiment, the response priority of the picture interaction hot zone corresponding to the picture element included in the reading page displayed after the page is turned is adjusted, so that the response priority of the picture interaction hot zone is lower than the response priority of the page turning interaction hot zone corresponding to the page turning operation, and the above-mentioned misoperation can be effectively avoided. Accordingly, in this embodiment, when the user clicks the right side of the picture element (and at the same time, the right side of the entire page), since the response priority of the picture interaction hot zone corresponding to the picture element has been reduced, the operation instruction of the page turning interaction hot zone will be executed, so as to execute the page turning operation. Of course, in other embodiments of the present invention, the page turning operation may also be replaced by other types of non-image interactive operations, such as an operation of calling a HOME key, and the page turning interactive hot area may also be replaced by other types of non-image interactive hot areas, which is not limited in this disclosure.
In another implementation manner of this step, the hot area range of the picture interaction hot area corresponding to the picture element included in the displayed reading page after page turning is narrowed, so that the hot area range of the picture interaction hot area does not overlap with the hot area range of the non-picture interaction hot area corresponding to the non-picture interaction operation. For example, the hot area range of the picture interaction hot area corresponding to the picture element contained in the displayed reading page after page turning is reduced, so that the hot area range of the picture interaction hot area and the hot area range of the page turning interaction hot area corresponding to the page turning operation are not overlapped, and the probability of false triggering is effectively reduced.
In another implementation manner of this step, the number of hot areas of the picture interaction hot area corresponding to the picture elements included in the displayed reading page after page turning is reduced, so as to prevent the user from mistakenly triggering the picture interaction operation through the picture interaction hot area.
Various modifications and variations can be made by those skilled in the art with respect to the above-described embodiments, for example, the image-viewing preference and/or the non-image-viewing preference can be further subdivided into various sub-types, for example, the image-viewing preference and the non-image-viewing preference are further divided into a plurality of grades according to the interaction scores, and accordingly, different page turning processing rules are respectively set for each grade. For example, the number of hotspots, the hotspot range, and the response priority of each hotspot of each picture element corresponding to each level of users are set respectively. The higher the ranking of the users looking at the picture type preference is, the stronger the looking requirement is, the larger the number of hotspots, the larger the hotspot range and the higher the response priority of each hotspot of each picture element are.
In conclusion, by the method, page turning can be performed according to the viewing preference of the user, so that the display mode of the picture elements displayed after page turning is more in line with the reading habit of the user, and the reading efficiency is improved. The mode is particularly suitable for the electronic books with the subjects of magazines, cartoons and the like, and the electronic books generally adopt an on-demand loading mode in order to save the typesetting space: the original image is further loaded only when the user triggers a request to view the original image, otherwise only the picture elements in the form of thumbnails are loaded. However, for users with strong viewing requirements, the above method requires that the user trigger the operation of viewing pictures one by one for each picture, which increases the operation burden for the user and seriously reduces the reading efficiency. The method can execute different page turning processing aiming at users with different preferences, thereby remarkably improving the reading efficiency of the photo e-book.
