The back surface of the second display portion 130 is attached to the back surface of the third display portion 210. A hard support layer may be provided between the rear surface of the second display portion 130 and the third display portion 210. The first rotation shaft 620, the first support bar 610, and the second support bar 630 are disposed at the rear of the first display unit 100. The second rotation shaft 650, the third support bar 640, and the fourth support bar 660 are disposed at the rear surface of the second display unit 200. At this time, the first rotating shaft 620 and the second rotating shaft 650 may be shared, that is, the first support bar 610, the second support bar 630, the third support bar 640 and the fourth support bar 660 are connected to the same rotating shaft.
It should be noted that in the embodiment of the present disclosure, the axial positioning of the first support rod 610 and the first rotating shaft 620 may be achieved by friction, the first support rod 610 is hinged to the first rotating shaft 620, and there is friction between the first support rod 610 and the second rotating shaft 650. When the circumferential force applied to the first supporting rod 610 by the outside is greater than the friction force between the first supporting rod 610 and the second rotating shaft 650, the first supporting rod 610 drives the middle display body to move. When a circumferential force applied to the first support rod 610 by the outside is smaller than a frictional force between the first support rod 610 and the second rotating shaft 650, the first support rod 610 fixes the intermediate display body at the current position.
As shown in fig. 5, the first display unit 100 and the second display unit 200 may be a unitary structure, and the first display unit 100 and the second display unit 200 may be bendable along a third axis located between the first display unit 100 and the second display unit 200.
The first display unit 100 may be a flexible OLED display device, and the second display unit 200 may also be a flexible OLED display device.
The flexible OLED display device may include a flexible substrate, an organic electroluminescent layer, a thin film encapsulation layer, a flexible cover sheet, and the like. The organic electroluminescent layer is arranged on the flexible substrate, the film packaging layer is arranged on one side, away from the flexible substrate, of the organic electroluminescent layer, and the flexible cover plate is arranged on one side, away from the organic electroluminescent layer, of the film packaging layer.
The flexible substrate may include a flexible substrate, a driving circuit layer, and the like, and since the flexible substrate may be subjected to a large stress when the display device is bent, a stress relief groove may be formed in the flexible substrate, so that the stress on the flexible substrate during folding may be reduced by the stress relief groove. The organic electroluminescent layer includes a plurality of pixel units, and the pixel units emit light to display images, and it is generally necessary to ensure that the light emitted by the display device is emitted as expected when the eyes of a user face the light-emitting surface. However, in the foldable display device, since the display device has at least two display modes, namely a planar display mode and a curved display mode, it is possible to ensure that the display effect meets the expected effect by changing the light path of the light emitted from the pixel unit, the illumination intensity, and the like.
Illustratively, the first display unit 100 and the second display unit 200 are symmetrical along the third axis. That is, when the first display unit 100 and the second display unit 200 are of an integrated structure, the third axis is a middle separation line of the integrated display device. Of course, in practical applications, the first display unit 100 and the second display unit 200 may also be asymmetric, and this is not particularly limited in the embodiments of the present disclosure.
The integrated first and second display units 100 and 200 may be referred to as a full display device, and the full display device may be a flexible OLED display device. Since the full display device is bent at the third axis, the flexible substrate of the full display device may be provided with a stress relief groove at the third axis to relieve the folding stress. And the pixel units and the pixel definition layer may be rearranged at the third axis to secure the display effect. For example, the light attenuation of the long wavelength light is slow in the non-frontal viewing angle, and the display abnormality occurs in the bending region of the full display device. Because the wavelength of red light in the pixel unit is longest, the bendable region can display red, and abnormal display can be avoided by changing the structure of the red photon pixel unit and the structure of the pixel definition layer around the red photon pixel unit.
It is understood that, as shown in fig. 6, the first display unit 100 and the second display unit 200 may be a split type structure, and an end of the second display part 130 remote from the first display part 110 and an end of the third display part 210 remote from the fourth display part 230 are connected.
In order to reduce the black edge at the joint of the first display unit 100 and the second display unit 200, one end of the second display portion 130 of the first display unit 100, which is far away from the first display portion 110, may be a curved display structure, and one end of the third display portion 210 of the second display unit 200, which is far away from the fourth display portion 230, may be a curved display structure.
Because the end of the second display portion 130 away from the first display portion 110 and the end of the third display portion 210 are both curved surface display structures, when the curved surface display structures are displayed on the display device, a problem of poor display effect may exist, and the display effect may be improved by changing the pixel arrangement of the curved surface display structures or the structures of the pixel definition layers.
The first display unit 100 is divided into a first display part 110 and a second display part 130 by a first axis, one side of which is the first display part 110, and the other side of which is the second display part 130. The flexible substrate of the first display unit 100 may be provided with a stress relief groove at a first axis to relieve the folding stress of the first display unit 100.
Illustratively, the first display part 110 and the second display part 130 are symmetrical along the first axis. I.e. the first axis is located at the middle line of the first display unit 100. Of course, in practical applications, the first display portion 110 and the second display portion 130 may also be asymmetric, and this is not particularly limited in the embodiments of the present disclosure.
The second display unit 200 is divided into a third display part 210 and a fourth display part 230 by a second axis, one side of which is the third display part 210 and the other side of which is the fourth display part 230. The flexible substrate of the second display unit 200 may be provided with a stress relief groove at a second axis to relieve the folding stress of the second display unit 200.
Illustratively, the third display part 210 and the fourth display part 230 are symmetrical along the second axis. That is, the second axis is located at the center line of the second display unit 200. Of course, in practical applications, the third display portion 210 and the fourth display portion 230 may also be asymmetric, and this is not particularly limited in the embodiments of the present disclosure.
When the first display part 110 and the second display part 130 are symmetrical about the first axis in the first display unit 100 and the third display part 210 and the fourth display part 230 are symmetrical about the second axis in the second display unit 200, the structure of the first display unit 100 may be the same as that of the second display unit 200. For example, the first display unit 100 may have a rectangular structure, and the second display unit 200 may have the same rectangular structure as the first display unit 100.
When the first display part 110 and the second display part 130 in the first display unit 100 are asymmetrical and the third display part 210 and the fourth display part 230 in the second display unit 200 are asymmetrical, the structures of the first display unit 100 and the second display unit 200 may be different. It is to be ensured that the shapes of the second display portion 130 and the third display portion 210 are the same, and further, after the back surface of the second display portion 130 is connected to the back surface of the third display portion 210, the second display portion 130 and the third display portion 210 are overlapped.
The first supporting frame 300 is used for supporting the first display part 110, the first supporting frame 300 is arranged on the back surface of the first display part 110, and the back surface of the first display part 110 is the side of the first display part 110 far away from the light emitting side; the second supporting frame 400 is used for supporting the fourth display portion 230, the second supporting frame 400 is disposed on the back surface of the fourth display portion 230, and the back surface of the fourth display portion 230 is a side of the fourth display portion 230 far away from the light emitting side.
Wherein the first support frame 300 and the second support frame 400 may be hingedly connected. The display apparatus may include a rotation shaft 500, and the first support frame 300 is coupled to the rotation shaft 500 to be rotatable about the rotation shaft 500. The second support frame 400 is connected to the rotation shaft 500 to be capable of rotating around the rotation shaft 500.
As shown in fig. 5, the first and second support frames 300 and 400 can be bent inward. The inward bending means that the first and second support frames 300 and 400 are rotated such that the light emitting side of the first display part 110 and the light emitting side of the fourth display part 230 are opposite. At this time, the light emitting side of the first display unit 110 and the light emitting side of the second display unit 130 in the first display unit 100 are opposite to each other, and the light emitting side of the third display unit 210 and the light emitting side of the fourth display unit 230 in the second display unit 200 are opposite to each other.
For example, the first support frame 300 and the second support frame 400 are hinged by the hinge 500, and based on this, a first limit position of the rotation of the first support frame 300 and the second support frame 400 may be such that the first display part 110 and the fourth display part 230 are positioned on the same plane when they are unfolded, and a second limit position of the rotation of the first support frame 300 and the second support frame 400 is such that the first display part 110 and the fourth display part 230 are parallel when they are bent.
It is understood that the first and second support frames 300 and 400 may be outwardly bendable. The outward bending means that the first and second support frames 300 and 400 are rotated such that the light emitting sides of the first and fourth display parts 110 and 230 face each other. In this case, the first display unit 100 has the same light emitting side of the first display unit 110 and the second display unit 130, and the second display unit 200 has the same light emitting side of the third display unit 210 and the fourth display unit 230.
Of course, in practical applications, the display device may also have both inward bending and outward bending functions, and at this time, display in multiple modes may be implemented, for example, an included angle between the first display portion 110 and the fourth display portion 230 may be 120 degrees, and an included angle between the first display portion 110 and the second display portion 130 may also be 120 degrees, and at this time, the display device may display in three user viewing angles.
Further, the display device provided in the embodiment of the present disclosure may further include an elastic member, and the elastic member may be disposed on the back surfaces of the first display unit 100 and the second display unit 200, and configured to elastically push the bent or opened display portion to a preset position.
