As shown in fig. 1, in another embodiment of the present invention, the first support 132 includes a first straight rod 133 and a second straight rod 134, the first straight rod 133 and the second straight rod 134 are hinged and form a first link, and the first straight rod 133 is further hinged with the first motor 150; the second support 142 includes a third straight bar 143 and a fourth straight bar 144, the third straight bar 143 and the fourth straight bar 144 are hinged and constitute a second link, and the third straight bar 143 is further hinged with the second motor 160.
Another embodiment of the present invention uses a first straight bar 133 and a second straight bar 134 as the first support 132, and uses a third straight bar 143 and a fourth straight bar 144 as the second support 142. When the first motor 150 does not drive the first support 132, the first straight bar 133 and the second straight bar 134 lie flat on the first housing 121. When the first motor 150 drives the first supporting member 132, one end of the first straight rod 133 is fixed at the first motor 150, the other end of the first straight rod 133 is far away from the first housing 121 or close to the first housing 121, and the movement of the first straight rod 133 drives the second straight rod 134 to be far away from the first housing 121 or close to the first housing 121. When the second motor 160 does not drive the second support 142, the third straight bar 143 and the fourth straight bar 144 lie flat on the second housing 122. When the second motor 160 drives the second supporting member 142, one end of the third straight rod 143 is fixed at the second motor 160, the other end of the third straight rod 143 is far away from the second housing 122 or close to the second housing 122, and the movement of the third straight rod 143 drives the fourth straight rod 144 to be far away from the second housing 122 or close to the second housing 122. The movement of the first straight rod 133 and the second straight rod 134 causes the first support member 132 to bring the first support plate 131 away from the first housing 121 or close to the first housing 121. The movement of the third straight rod 143 and the fourth straight rod 144 causes the second supporting member 142 to bring the second supporting plate 141 away from the second casing 122 or close to the second casing 122.
As shown in fig. 1, in another embodiment of the present invention, the second end surface of the first supporting plate 131 is movably connected to the second straight rod 134 of the first supporting member 132; the fourth end surface of the second supporting plate 141 is movably connected to the fourth straight rod 144 of the second supporting member 142.
In another embodiment of the present invention, the second straight bar 134 of the first supporting member 132 is connected to the second end surface of the first supporting plate 131, and the fourth straight bar 144 of the second supporting member 142 is connected to the fourth end surface of the second supporting plate 141. When the first motor 150 does not drive the first support 132, the first support 132 and the first support plate 131 lie on the first housing 121. When the first motor 150 drives the first supporting member 132, the second straight bar 134 of the first supporting member 132 drives the first supporting plate 131 to move away from the first housing 121 or to move close to the first housing 121. When the second motor 160 does not drive the second supporter 142, the second supporter 142 and the second support plate 141 are laid flat on the second housing 122. When the second motor 160 drives the second supporting member 142, the fourth straight bar 144 of the second supporting member 142 drives the second supporting plate 141 to move away from the second casing 122 or to move close to the second casing 122. The movement of the first and second support plates 131 and 141 drives the organic light emitting display panel 110 to bend away from the housing 120 or move close to the housing 120.
In another embodiment of the present invention, the first housing 121 or the second housing 122 may be rotated 360 degrees around the hinge portion 123. The angle between the first housing 121 and the second housing 122 may be in the range of 0 degree to 360 degrees. As shown in fig. 1, the included angle between the first casing 121 and the second casing 122 may be 180 degrees; as shown in fig. 2, the first casing 121 and the second casing 122 are closed, and the included angle therebetween may be 360 degrees; as shown in fig. 3 and 4, an included angle between the first casing 121 and the second casing 122 may be greater than 180 degrees and less than 360 degrees; as shown in fig. 5, the included angle between the first housing 121 and the second housing 122 may be less than 180 degrees.
In another embodiment of the present invention, the first and second housings 121 and 122 may rotate 360 degrees around the hinge portion 123, and the rotation angle may be varied within a range of 0 to 360 degrees. The included angle between the first casing 121 and the second casing 122 may be greater than 180 degrees. The first bending mechanism 130 and the first motor 150 in the first housing 121, and the second bending mechanism 140 and the second motor 160 in the second housing 122 may also rotate around the hinge portion 123. The organic light emitting display panel 110 may be bent at both sides, and the bending included angle α may be changed within a range greater than 180 degrees. Accordingly, the organic light emitting display panel 110 may provide a display image to a plurality of viewers dispersed within a bending angle range greater than 180 degrees.
As shown in fig. 1, in another embodiment of the present invention, the first casing 121 and the second casing 122 are relatively unfolded by 180 degrees to form a first supporting base.
When the first casing 121 and the second casing 122 are unfolded relatively to form a first supporting base by 180 degrees, the first supporting base is laid on the first plane 170, and the first plane 170 can support the first supporting base. The first supporting base may support the first motor 150, the second motor 160, the first bending mechanism 130, the second bending mechanism 140, and the organic light emitting display panel 110. The first housing 121 may support the first motor 150, the first bending mechanism 130, and the organic light emitting display panel 110, and the second housing 122 may support the second motor 160, the second bending mechanism 140, and the organic light emitting display panel 110. The first motor 150 may drive the first bending mechanism 130 away from the first housing 121 or close to the first housing 121. The second motor 160 may drive the second bending mechanism 140 away from the second housing 122 or close to the second housing 122. The movement of the first bending mechanism 130 and the second bending mechanism 140 may drive the organic light emitting display panel 110 to bend towards a direction away from the housing 120 or move towards a direction close to the housing 120. Since the included angle between the first casing 121 and the second casing 122 is 180 degrees, the bending included angle α of the organic light emitting display panel 110 may vary in a range of 0 to 180 degrees. When all viewers are concentrated in an area facing the first plane 170, the display image provided by the organic light emitting display panel 110 may enter the fields of view of all viewers when the bent angle is 180 degrees or less. At this time, the first case 121 and the second case 122 are relatively unfolded by 180 degrees enough to allow the organic light emitting display panel 110 to provide a display image to all viewers, not necessarily by 360 degrees.
As shown in fig. 2, in another embodiment of the present invention, the first casing 121 and the second casing 122 are folded away from the organic light emitting display panel 110 to form a second supporting base.
When the first casing 121 and the second casing 122 are folded away from the organic light emitting display panel 110 to form a second supporting base, an included angle between the first casing 121 and the second casing 122 is 360 degrees. The second support base is erected on a second plane 180, and the second plane 180 can support the second support base. The second supporting base may support the first motor 150, the second motor 160, the first bending mechanism 130, the second bending mechanism 140, and the organic light emitting display panel 110. The movement of the first bending mechanism 130 can drive the first supporting plate 131 to move away from the first housing 121 or move close to the first housing 121. The movement of the second bending mechanism 140 can drive the second supporting plate 141 to move away from the second casing 122 or move close to the second casing 122. The movement of the first and second support plates 131 and 141 may cause the organic light emitting display panel 110 to bend away from the housing 120 or move close to the housing 120. Since the included angle between the first casing 121 and the second casing 122 is 360 degrees, the bending included angle α of the organic light emitting display panel 110 may vary in a range of 0 degree to 360 degrees. At this time, the organic light emitting display panel 110 may provide a display image to a plurality of viewers dispersed within a bending angle range greater than 180 degrees.
In another embodiment of the present invention, the first motor 150 is used to drive the first supporting member 132, the first supporting plate 131; the second motor 160 is used for driving the second supporting member 142 and the second supporting plate 141; and the first motor 150 and the second motor 160 push the organic light emitting display panel 110 to be bent.
Fig. 6 is a flowchart illustrating a bending process of the organic light emitting display panel 110 in the foldable display device 100 according to another embodiment of the present invention.
The bending process of the organic light emitting display panel 110 includes:
step S201, the first motor 150 drives the first supporting member 132 and the first supporting plate 131;
step S202, the second motor 160 drives the second supporting member 142 and the second supporting plate 141;
in step S203, the first motor 150 and the second motor 160 push the organic light emitting display panel 110 to bend.
The first motor 150 may drive the first bending mechanism 130 to move away from the first housing 121 or close to the first housing 121. The second motor 160 may drive the second bending mechanism 140 away from the second housing 122 or close to the second housing 122.
As shown in fig. 1 to 5, in another embodiment of the present invention, the first motor 150 and the second motor 160 are self-locking motors; the first motor 150 and the second motor 160 are used for controlling the bending included angle α of the organic light emitting display panel 110.
When the first motor 150 and the second motor 160 are turned on, the first motor 150 drives the first supporting member 132 to drive the first supporting plate 131, and the second motor 160 drives the second supporting member 142 to drive the second supporting plate 141. If the first support plate 131 is far away from the first casing 121 and the second support plate 141 is far away from the second casing 122, they make the bending included angle α of the organic light emitting display panel 110 smaller. If the first support plate 131 is close to the first casing 121 and the second support plate 141 is close to the second casing 122, they make the bending included angle α of the organic light emitting display panel 110 larger. When the first and second motors 150 and 160 are turned off, the first and second supports 132 and 131 and 142 and the second support 141 and the organic light emitting display panel 110 are stopped. The bending included angle α of the organic light emitting display panel 110 after the first motor 150 and the second motor 160 are turned off is maintained as the bending included angle α of the organic light emitting display panel 110 at the last moment before the first motor 150 and the second motor 160 are turned off. Accordingly, the first motor 150 and the second motor 160 may fix the bending included angle α of the organic light emitting display panel 110.
As shown in fig. 1 to 5, in another embodiment of the present invention, the organic light emitting display panel 110 may be bent toward the first side surface or may be bent toward the second side surface. When the included angle between the first casing 121 and the second casing 122 is smaller than 180 degrees, the organic light emitting display panel 110 can only be bent towards the first side surface, and the bending included angle α is changed within a range smaller than 180 degrees. When the included angle between the first casing 121 and the second casing 122 is greater than 180 degrees, the organic light emitting display panel 110 may be bent toward the first side surface and the second side surface, and the bending included angle α may be changed within a range greater than 180 degrees. At this time, the organic light emitting display panel 110 may provide a display image to a plurality of viewers dispersed within a bending angle range greater than 180 degrees.
In another embodiment of the present invention, the first side and/or the second side of the organic light emitting display panel 110 is used to display an image. When the organic light emitting display panel 110 is bent, both the first side and the second side are likely to face the viewer, and most of the time the first side faces the viewer. Therefore, the organic light emitting display panel 110 generally provides a display image using the first side, and may also provide a display image using the second side when the second side faces a viewer.
In summary, the present invention provides a foldable display device 100, wherein an included angle between the first casing 121 and the second casing 122 may be greater than 180 degrees, and the bending included angle α of the organic light emitting display panel 110 may vary within a range greater than 180 degrees. Accordingly, the organic light emitting display panel 110 may provide a display image to a plurality of viewers dispersed within a bending angle range greater than 180 degrees.
The above description is only for the purpose of illustrating the preferred embodiments of the present invention and is not to be construed as limiting the invention, and any modifications, equivalents, improvements and the like made within the spirit and principle of the present invention should be included in the scope of the present invention.
