Description

Multichannel cable fixing device capable of embedding nut
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the field of installation design of electrical wiring harnesses, and particularly relates to a multi-channel wiring harness fixing device capable of embedding nuts and an installation method of the fixing device.
Background
Currently, a large number of plastic support devices are used on aircraft. As shown in fig. 1, the support device is composed of a support rod body 1 and a support rod adapter 2, the support rod adapter and the support rod are fixed together through a screw and a clamping piece nut, and after the support rod adapter and the support rod are fixed together, the support rod 1 and the support rod adapter 2 are fixed on a structural support through a screw 3 and a nut 4.
However, such support devices have several disadvantages during use. In one aspect, the support bar 1 is provided with holes 6 on three sides for mounting the clips 5. For this reason, the size of the support rod needs to be designed to be large enough to provide the holes 6, specifically, the size of the support rod is L × 20.5mm (L is the length of the support rod 1), which results in that the support rod 1 is heavy, bulky, and occupies a large space, thereby greatly compressing the cable laying space in a certain space. Further, although the support bar is provided with the holes 6 on three sides, only one side of the support bar is used to mount the clip 5 in most cases, resulting in low utilization.
On the other hand, since the studs 7 are provided between the screw holes, the operation space is affected, and therefore, the installation becomes inconvenient, so that the nut washer is liable to fall off at the time of installation and removal, and becomes a surplus on the aircraft. If the clip nut 8 is used to replace a common self-locking nut to fix the hoop 5, the tail end of the clip nut 8 is too close to the wiring harness 9 (see fig. 2), which affects the safety of the airplane, and meanwhile, the clip nut 8 is heavy and can increase the weight of the airplane when being used in large quantities.
In addition, since the support rod 1 requires the use of the adapter 2, both the weight and the installation workload are increased.
Accordingly, there is a need in the art for a structure of a support pole that can overcome the above disadvantages without reducing strength.

Detailed Description
The preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings in order to more clearly understand the objects, features and advantages of the present invention.
Fig. 2 to 7 show one embodiment of the wire harness fixing device according to the present invention. Specifically, as shown in fig. 2, the wire harness fixing device includes a support member. In this embodiment, the support member is in the form of a support bar 10. The brace 10 is made of a material such as a thermoformed plastic. In other embodiments, the support rod may be made of nylon material. One end of the support bar 10 is optionally depressed downward in the longitudinal direction.
The support bar 10 further has at least one through hole 11 formed therethrough in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the support bar 10, the support bar 10 is provided with studs 12, the studs 12 have at least one mounting hole 13 formed therethrough in a direction transverse to the through hole 11, and the through holes 11 are arranged to intersect with the corresponding mounting holes 13 of the fixing means, and in particular, the through holes 11 are configured to penetrate the support bar 10 orthogonally to the corresponding one mounting hole 13 of the support bar 10.
There may be a plurality of through holes 11 and correspondingly a corresponding number of mounting holes 13.
Preferably, the studs 12 have at least one relief hole 14. Preferably, there are a plurality of lightening holes, and more preferably, the lightening holes 14 and the mounting holes 13 are arranged to be spaced apart on the stud 5 in the length direction in an alternating manner. The studs 12 and lightening holes 14 provide support for the brace while reducing the volume of the brace 10, for example, in one embodiment, the brace 10 may have a dimension L14 mm 16mm, where L is the longitudinal length of the brace. In addition, the mounting holes 13 and the lightening holes 14 enable the support bar 10 to be lightened, in particular by about 25%, with respect to the support bars currently in use. Although the opening shapes of the mounting hole 13 and the lightening hole 14 are designed to be, for example, a rounded rectangle and a circle in the present embodiment, respectively, those skilled in the art will appreciate that the mounting hole 13 and the lightening hole 14 may have other suitable opening shapes.
The wire harness fixing device of the present invention further includes a mounting member for being inserted into the mounting hole 13, and a fixing member passing through the through-hole 11 of the support bar 10 corresponding to the mounting hole 13 into which the mounting member is inserted and fixed in a preset hole of the mounting member, thereby fixing the clip 50 to the support bar 10. According to a preferred embodiment, as shown in fig. 4, the mounting member may be a self-locking nut 20 with a bracket and the fixing member may be a screw 30.
Referring back to fig. 2, the bracketed self-locking nut 20 includes a nut securing bracket 21. The nut fixing bracket 21 is used to mount and fix a general self-locking nut 22, which prevents a possible redundant situation in which the nut and washer fall off when the band 50 is mounted and dismounted.
Further, the nut fixing bracket 21 includes protrusions 23, and the protrusions 23 are formed on each side edge of the nut fixing bracket 21 (only the protrusion on one side edge is shown in the drawing). The protrusions 23 are configured to frictionally engage the surface of the mounting hole 13 of the fixture such that the bracket 21 maintains a certain friction with the surface of the mounting hole 13, thereby preventing the nut with the bracket from loosening, and when it is desired to remove the nut with the bracket, it is simply pushed out by hand from the other side of the blind. Although there are two projections 23 in the present embodiment, those skilled in the art will appreciate that the number of projections 23 may vary depending on the mounting hole 13, and may have any suitable shape of the projections 23.
The nut holding bracket 21 further comprises a stop 24, which stop 24 protrudes from both sides at the bottom of the nut holding bracket 21 in this embodiment, but may also protrude from either side at the bottom. The stop 24 is configured such that when the stop 24 is in contact with the stud 12 of the fixture, the centre line of the self-locking nut coincides exactly with the centre line of the through-hole 11. Thus, the clip 50 can be fastened to the support pole 10 by screwing the screw 30 with the self-locking nut 20 with a bracket through the through hole 11 without other operations or additional components. This therefore reduces the bulk and facilitates installation.
As shown in fig. 2, and more particularly to fig. 3, a fixing hole 15 is provided at one end of the support pole 10, the fixing hole 15 being used to fix the support pole 10 in place by, for example, a threaded connection. At the other end of the downward recess of the support bar 10, there is a fixing hole, preferably an oblong hole 16, formed longitudinally therethrough, the oblong hole 16 serving as an installation adjustment function to prevent positional deviation upon installation.
Fig. 5 is an exploded perspective view showing an installation method of a wire harness fixing device of the insert nut according to the present invention, and fig. 6 is a sectional view of the installed wire harness fixing device of the insert nut according to the present invention. The specific installation steps of the fixing device are as follows:
1) inserting the self-locking nut 20 with bracket into the mounting hole 13 of the support rod 10;
2) the support rod is arranged on the bracket 41 through the fixing holes 15 and the long round holes 16 at the two ends of the support rod 10 by using a screw 42, a washer 43 and a self-locking nut 44;
3) the harness clip 50 is installed through the through-hole of the support bar 10 with the screw 30 and the washer.
The multichannel fixing device after the wire harness is installed is shown in figure 7. Compared with the existing installation mode, the installation mode of the invention has the following advantages:
a) the volume is small, the weight is light, and the strength is good;
b) the installation is simple and convenient, and the installation can be carried out in a narrow space or a place with structural obstruction;
c) a support rod adapter is not required to be installed, so that the installation time of the EWIS is reduced;
d) the clamp is simple and convenient to maintain, the clamp can be removed only by operating and removing the screw on one side, the screw (nut) is fixed on one side, and the nut (screw) is rotated on the other side like the prior art, so that the installation time of the wire harness is greatly saved, and the mass production efficiency of the airplane is improved;
e) during installation and dismantlement, need not worry that nut and packing ring drop, reduce the risk that the surplus appears.
f) The nut is buried in the support rod, and the problem of interference between the nut and peripheral wiring harnesses is avoided.
While the structure and method of installation of the present invention has been described in connection with the preferred embodiments, it is to be understood by those skilled in the art that the above examples are intended in an illustrative rather than in a limiting sense. Therefore, modifications and variations of the present invention may be made within the true spirit and scope of the claims, and these modifications and variations are intended to fall within the scope of the claims of the present invention.
