Abstract

The invention discloses an air bag protective layer and an air bag safety device adopting the same, and relates to the technical field of automobile safety. One specific embodiment of the air bag protective layer comprises an air bag protective layer matched with an air bag, wherein the air bag comprises an air bag door, a gas generator and a bag arranged in the air bag door, and a cover plate covering the air bag door, and a hinge is arranged on the cover plate so that the cover plate can rotate in the process of unfolding the bag; the airbag protective layer wraps at least one part of the bag and is torn in the unfolding process of the bag, and the torn airbag protective layer wraps the hinge on the cover plate. Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of automobile safety, in particular to an air bag protective layer and an air bag safety device adopting the same.
Background
The air bag door of the safety air bag is usually made of a plastic resin material, and the material can become soft at high temperature and reduce the tensile strength; it becomes brittle at low temperature and the elongation is reduced. The cover of the airbag is typically provided with a hinge structure to facilitate rotation of the cover during deployment of the bag. When the layout design of the safety airbag is unreasonable, the hinge structure scatters in the unfolding process of the bag at high temperature and low temperature, so that impact is caused on a human body.
Currently, in order to prevent the hinge structure from scattering, an airbag is generally provided on an instrument panel. On the one hand, this form requires a reinforcing structure on the instrument panel, which is costly and complicated to manufacture. On the other hand, this form cannot completely avoid the hinge structure from flying apart. In addition, the layout design in the form has optimization limitation and small optimization space.
Disclosure of Invention
In view of this, embodiments of the present invention provide an airbag protection layer and an airbag apparatus using the same, which can prevent a hinge from scattering, and avoid problems of high cost and complex processing due to a reinforcing structure, and optimization limitations due to an unreasonable layout design.
To achieve the above object, according to an aspect of an embodiment of the present invention, there is provided an airbag protection layer.
The airbag protective layer is matched with an airbag for use, the airbag comprises an airbag door, a gas generator and a bag arranged in the airbag door, and a cover plate covering the airbag door, wherein the cover plate is provided with a hinge so that the cover plate can rotate in the process of unfolding the bag; the airbag protective layer wraps at least one part of the bag and is torn in the unfolding process of the bag, and the torn airbag protective layer wraps the hinge on the cover plate.
Optionally, the airbag protection layer includes a second protective cloth, the second protective cloth wraps at least a portion of the pouch, and the second protective cloth is torn during deployment of the pouch, and the torn second protective cloth wraps the hinge on the cover plate.
Optionally, the airbag protection layer further comprises a first protection cloth, the first protection cloth is arranged on the outer side of the second protection cloth, and the length of the first protection cloth is smaller than that of the second protection cloth; the first protective cloth is torn during the unfolding of the pouch.

One embodiment of the above invention has the following advantages or benefits: the airbag protective layer is used for wrapping at least one part of the bag and is torn in the unfolding process of the bag, and the torn airbag protective layer wraps the hinge on the cover plate, so that the hinge can be prevented from flying apart in the unfolding process of the bag, and the unfolding track of the bag can be restrained. In addition, the air bag protective layer and the air bag safety device are low in cost and simple in processing technology, and optimization limitation caused by unreasonable layout design in the prior art is avoided.

Exemplary embodiments of the present invention are described below with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which various details of embodiments of the invention are included to assist understanding, and which are to be considered as merely exemplary. Accordingly, those of ordinary skill in the art will recognize that various changes and modifications of the embodiments described herein can be made without departing from the scope and spirit of the invention. Also, descriptions of well-known functions and constructions are omitted in the following description for clarity and conciseness.
An airbag protection layer and an airbag device according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to fig. 1 to 9.
The airbag protection layer 20 of the embodiment of the present invention is used in cooperation with the airbag 10. FIGS. 1 and 2 are schematic views of an airbag protective layer in use with an airbag according to some embodiments of the invention. As shown in fig. 1 and 2, the airbag 10 includes an airbag door 11, a gas generator 12 and a bag 13 provided in the airbag door 11, and a cover 14 covering the airbag door 11, the cover 14 being provided with a hinge 15 so that the cover 14 rotates during deployment of the bag 13; the airbag cover 20 wraps around at least a portion of the pouch 13 and tears during the deployment of the pouch 13, the torn airbag cover 20 wrapping around the hinge 15 on the flap 14.
The air bag protective layer provided by the embodiment of the invention has the advantages of simple structure, convenience in processing and installation, and no optimization limitation caused by unreasonable layout design in the prior art. The airbag protection layer 20 wraps at least a part of the bag 13, and the torn airbag protection layer 20 can wrap the hinge 15 on the cover plate 14 in the unfolding process of the bag 13, so that the hinge can be prevented from flying apart in the unfolding process of the bag, and the friction on the hinge 15 in the unfolding process of the bag 13 can be prevented. In addition, the airbag protection layer 20 can restrain the airbag deployment trajectory because the airbag protection layer 20 is not continuously opened during the airbag deployment until the airbag protection layer 20 is torn.
In an alternative embodiment shown in fig. 1, the airbag protection sheet 20 includes a second protection sheet 22, the second protection sheet 22 wraps at least a portion of the pocket 13, and the second protection sheet 22 is torn during the deployment of the pocket 13, and the torn second protection sheet 22 wraps the hinge 15 of the cover sheet 14. The second protective cloth 22 may be made of an elastic material, and the second protective cloth 22 is continuously stretched until being torn during the unfolding of the pouch 13. As shown in fig. 5, the second protective cloth 22 may also be provided with a tear line 26, and the second protective cloth 22 is continuously stretched until being torn from the tear line 26 during the unfolding of the pouch 13. For example, two kinds of cloth with different elasticity are spliced to form the second protective cloth 22, and the second protective cloth 22 is torn from the cloth with smaller elasticity in the unfolding process of the pocket 13. The material and structure of the second protective cloth 22 may be selected by those skilled in the art according to practical situations, for example, the embodiment of the present invention is not particularly limited thereto.
The airbag protective layer 20 may further include a first protective cloth 21. As shown in fig. 2, the first protective cloth 21 is disposed outside the second protective cloth 22, and the length of the first protective cloth 21 is smaller than that of the second protective cloth 22; the first protective cloth 21 is torn during the unfolding of the pocket 13. The bag 13 is prevented from being folded before being unfolded in the airbag door 11, and the first protective cloth 21 can restrict the size of the folded bag 13. During the unfolding process of the pocket 13, the first protective cloth 21 is firstly torn, and the second protective cloth 22 can restrict the unfolding track of the pocket 13, as shown in fig. 3. As the pocket 13 is continuously unfolded, the second protective cloth 22 is torn, and the torn second protective cloth covers the hinge 15, so that friction on the hinge during unfolding of the pocket 13 is prevented, and the hinge 13 is prevented from scattering, as shown in fig. 4.
The second protective cloth 22 may be provided with a fold 23. The folding part 23 is arranged, so that on one hand, the tearing time of the second protective cloth 22 can be delayed, the unfolding track of the bag 13 can be effectively restrained, and on the other hand, the air bag protective layer can be neatly arranged on the bag, and the attractive effect is achieved. Optionally, the fold 23 is provided with stitching so that the fold 23 is less likely to unravel. Fig. 7 to 9 show an exemplary manner of sewing the fold, wherein fig. 7 is a protective panel before sewing, fig. 8 shows the protective panel after sewing the fold, 29 in the drawings represents a sewing line, and fig. 9 is a cross-sectional view of fig. 8 along the a-a direction. As can be seen from fig. 9, a Z-shaped folded portion 23 is sewn to the second protective fabric 22. It should be noted that the folds may also take other forms than a zigzag, for example a plurality of zigzag forms. During the unfolding of the pouch 13, the sewing line 29 of the second protective cloth 22 is firstly broken, and then the second protective cloth 22 is torn as the pouch 13 is unfolded.
The protective cloths 21, 22 may be provided with tear lines 25, 26, along which the protective cloths 21, 22 tear during unfolding of the pouch 13. The first protective cloth 21 and/or the second protective cloth 22 are provided with tear lines, and the first protective cloth 21 and the second protective cloth 22 are torn along the tear lines during the unfolding of the pouch 13, thereby facilitating the tearing. As shown in fig. 5, the first protective cloth 21 is provided with a tear line 25, and the second protective cloth 22 is provided with a tear line 26.
The first protective cloth 21 and the second protective cloth 22 may be formed by folding one protective cloth piece in half. As shown in fig. 5, the protective cloth piece is folded along a fold 24 to form a first protective cloth 21 and a second protective cloth 22. The first protective cloth 21 and the second protective cloth 22 are formed of one protective cloth piece, so that it is possible to prevent the first protective cloth 21 and the second protective cloth 22 from being installed in an incorrect order, and to prevent the first protective cloth 21 or the second protective cloth 22 from being left unworked during installation.
The protective sheet may be sewn to the pouch 13 along its fold 24. The protective sheet may also be provided with positioning holes 27 along the fold 24, and the protective sheet is fixed to the bag 13 or around the bag 13, for example, to the gas generator 12 or to the airbag door 11, through the positioning holes 27. In order to securely fix the protective sheet to the gas generator when the end of the protective sheet is fixed to the gas generator 12, a mating structure matching the outer contour of the gas generator may be provided on the protective sheet, as shown in fig. 5 at 28.
The ends of the protective cloths 21 and 22, i.e., the ends of the first protective cloth 21 and/or the second protective cloth 22, may be sewn to the pouch 13. The end portions of the protective cloths 21, 22, that is, the end portions of the first protective cloth 21 and/or the second protective cloth 22, may be provided with positioning holes 27, and the protective cloths 21, 22 may be fixed to the bag 13 or the periphery of the bag 13, for example, to the gas generator 12 or to the airbag door 11, through the positioning holes 27. As shown in fig. 6, the first protective cloth 21 and the second protective cloth 22 are formed of one protective cloth piece, a positioning hole 27 is provided at a folded portion of the protective cloth piece, and the protective cloth piece is sewn to the pocket 13 at the positioning hole 27.
According to a further aspect of an embodiment of the present invention, there is provided an airbag device.
An airbag device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: an airbag 10, and an airbag protective layer 20 provided by the first aspect of the embodiment of the invention; the airbag 10 includes an airbag door 11, a gas generator 12 and a bag 13 provided in the airbag door 11, and a cover 14 covering the airbag door 11, the cover 14 being provided with a hinge 15 so that the cover 14 rotates during deployment of the bag 13; the airbag cover 20 wraps around at least a portion of the pouch 13 and tears during the deployment of the pouch 13, the torn airbag cover 20 wrapping around the hinge 15 on the flap 14.
According to the technical scheme of the embodiment of the invention, the bag is torn in the unfolding process, and the torn air bag protective layer wraps the hinge on the cover plate, so that the hinge can be prevented from flying apart in the unfolding process of the bag, and the unfolding track of the bag can be restrained. In addition, the cost is low, the processing technology is simple, and the optimization limitation caused by unreasonable layout design in the prior art is avoided.

The airbag protection layer (20) according to claim 1, wherein the airbag protection layer (20) includes a second protection cloth (22), the second protection cloth (22) wraps at least a portion of the pouch (13), and the second protection cloth (22) is torn during the deployment of the pouch (13), and the torn second protection cloth (22) wraps the hinge (15) of the cover sheet (14).
