Description

Clothes treating appliance
[ technical field ] A method for producing a semiconductor device
The present invention relates to a laundry treating appliance for washing and/or drying clothes, and more particularly, to a coupling structure of plastic parts of a laundry treating appliance.
[ background of the invention ]
The laundry treating appliance generally has a space to treat laundry, in which the laundry is washed and/or dried. The washing liquid and/or drying air is then agitated or flowed in the treatment space.
The treatment space typically comprises a fluid channel or vessel formed by the joining of multiple components. In some cases, the multiple components are joined by friction welding.
To avoid leakage of liquid or drying air during the laundry treatment, there is a high desire for the sealing properties of friction welding and the strength of the seams. In addition, flash may be generated during the friction welding, and lint or lint may be dropped from the laundry along with the washing and/or drying operation in the laundry treating space, and the lint or lint may be easily attached to the welding flash area, thereby adsorbing more dirt or affecting the drying effect.
[ summary of the invention ]
It is an object of the present invention to provide an improved laundry treating appliance.
The invention provides a clothes treatment appliance, which comprises a hollow mechanism forming a fluid channel or a container, wherein the hollow mechanism comprises a first member and a second member, the first member is provided with a first flat surface before assembly, the second member is provided with a second flat surface before assembly, the first member and the second member are fixedly connected through friction welding of the first flat surface and the second flat surface to form the hollow mechanism, at least one of the first flat surface and the second flat surface is provided with a protruding welding rib, and the welding rib forms the edges of a plurality of mutually-jointed closed geometric units.
Compared with a common independent linear welding rib, the welding rib of the closed geometric unit which is mutually connected is longer in welding line length, larger in area and higher in welding strength, so that the first component and the second component are more firmly and reliably connected, and the sealing performance of the welding position is also more guaranteed.
Wherein the geometric units may adopt a polygonal structure.
Advantageously, the geometric elements are identical in shape.
More specifically, the geometric cells may be hexagonal. After being connected with each other, a roughly honeycomb-shaped structure is formed.
As one of the preferable modes, the welding rib includes a main welding rib with a higher protruding height and an auxiliary welding rib with a lower protruding height, wherein the auxiliary welding rib is at least distributed on the periphery of the geometric unit located at the edge, and the main welding rib is located inside a welding area surrounded by the auxiliary welding rib. Therefore, in the friction welding process, the higher main welding rib is more melted, the lower auxiliary welding rib is less melted, and then flash generally occurs on the main welding rib and can not or rarely occur on the auxiliary welding rib. Because the auxiliary welding ribs are positioned at the periphery of the welding area, a large amount of knitting wool is not easy to hang due to flash.
The laundry treating appliance has a rotatable inner tub accommodating laundry and an outer tub disposed around the inner tub, the hollow mechanism including the outer tub.
In one embodiment, the wall of the tub has a recess on its inner surface, the cover plate covers the recess and is fixedly connected to the wall of the tub to form an air condensation channel between the recess and the cover plate, the first member includes the wall of the tub, and the second member includes the cover plate.
In addition, the outer tub includes a front tub and a rear tub having a first mating surface and a second mating surface opposite to each other, respectively, the first member includes the front tub, the second member includes the rear tub, and the welding rib may be formed on at least one of the first mating surface and the second mating surface.
The laundry treating appliance has a rotatable inner tub for accommodating laundry, an outer tub disposed around the inner tub, and a passage connected to the outer tub for passing drying air therethrough, wherein the hollow mechanism includes the passage for passing drying air therethrough.
The hollow mechanism is made of plastic.
Hereinafter, a washing and drying machine will be described as an example of one embodiment of the present invention with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[ description of the drawings ]
FIG. 1 is a side schematic view of a washer-dryer;
Fig. 2 is a front view of a rear tub of the outer tub.
Fig. 3 is a plan view of a welding rib on the cover plate.
[ detailed description ] embodiments
as shown in fig. 1, the washing and drying machine 10 has a rotating inner tub 2 accommodating laundry and an outer tub 4 disposed around the inner tub 2. The outer tub 4 is integrally formed with a condensation passage 6. The outlet 62 of the condensation channel 6 is connected to the fan 8. The other end of the fan 8 is connected to an air heating passage 9. The outlet 91 of the air heating passage 9 communicates with the tub 4. The tub 4, the condensing passage 6, the fan 8 and the air heating passage 9 thus form an air circulation circuit. In the drying process, heat exchange occurs in the hot and humid air in the condensing passage 6, and thus moisture in the air is liquefied into water to be separated from the air.
The outer tub 4 includes a front tub 41 and a rear tub 42 having opposite and substantially flat first and second mating surfaces 410 and 420, respectively. The first mating surface 410 and the second mating surface 420 are connected by friction welding with a first welding region 43a therebetween.
As shown in fig. 2, the inner surface 440 of the rear wall 44 of the outer tub 4 has a groove 441. A cover plate 5 is covered on the groove 441 and is fixedly connected with the tub rear wall 44 to form a condensation channel 6 between the groove 441 and the cover plate 5. Wherein the cover 5 is connected to the rear wall 44 of the tub 4 by friction welding, and a second welding area 43b is provided therebetween. In order to achieve friction welding, the cover plate 5 has a substantially flat third mating surface 51, and the side of the tub rear wall 44 facing the cover plate 5 has a substantially flat fourth mating surface 442.
In other embodiments not shown in the drawings, the tub may be connected to a separate condensing passage through which the drying air passes. The channel is formed by the mating of two components. The two components are connected through friction welding.
The outer tub 4, the cover plate 5, and the independent condensation passage are formed by plastic injection molding.
In order to achieve friction welding, as one example, protruding weld ribs 7 are provided on the first mating surface 410 and the third mating surface 51, respectively.
As shown in fig. 3, the welding ribs 7 form the edges of several closed geometric elements 70 that engage one another. In a preferred embodiment, the geometric elements 70 are hexagonal structures of the same shape and size.
The weld beads 7 include a main weld bead 71 having a high projection height and an auxiliary weld bead 72 having a low projection height. Wherein the auxiliary welding ribs 72 are distributed on the periphery of the geometrical unit at the edge. It is also understood that the auxiliary welding bead 72 is located at the edge of the first and second welding areas 43a and 43 b. The main welding bead 71 is located inside the welding areas 43a, 43b formed around the auxiliary welding bead 72. Part of the auxiliary welding ribs 72 may also be located inside the welding areas 43a, 43 b.
The various embodiments described above and shown in the drawings are illustrative of the invention and are not exhaustive of the invention. Any modification of the present invention by a person of ordinary skill in the related art within the scope of the basic technical idea of the present invention is within the scope of the present invention.
