Description

Composite profiled element for an inner wall frame of a sliding door
The invention relates to a composite profiled element for an in-wall frame of a sliding door.
The invention can be applied in the field of parts for producing the inner wall frame of sliding doors in the construction industry.
Currently, the use of sliding doors can be resorted to in environments where there is not enough space to install revolving doors, or when different solutions are preferred for aesthetic reasons.
This type of door offers two options.
The first type consists of an external door system, in which one or more door leaves slide in the open configuration and cover the adjacent wall portions.
To be able to slide, the door is fixed in two or more carriages constrained to move within guides associated with horizontal profiles arranged above the opening that one wishes to close with the door.
In this type of system, for example, a sliding door made of glass and an adjacent wall also made of glass can be employed, in order to allow the passage of light in the closed configuration and in the open configuration.
A second type of sliding door provides an in-wall system in which one or more plasterboard compartments are provided in which one or more door leaves will be concealed when they are in an open configuration.
In order to install this second type of sliding door, inside the building, an inner wall frame is provided, which has a portion covered by plasterboard panels so as to form a seat for concealing the door in the open configuration.
Such an intrawall frame comprises two terminal lateral shoulders (terminal lateral shoulders) which extend vertically and are crossed and engaged by a profiled element with a horizontally extending guide. Furthermore, there are two or more pairs of vertically extending elements suitable for resting the cross member and for forming an access for hiding the seat of the door in the open configuration.
Between one of the two shoulders and these vertical elements there is a cross member to strengthen the structure and to provide a support to which the plasterboard panel is fixed, which externally closes the housing seat of the door leaf when the latter is in the open configuration.
In order to be able to slide, the door is fixed in an upward region to one or more carriages that translate within guides integral with the upper section bar of the inner frame of the wall.
However, these known methods have drawbacks.
During installation of the inner wall frame, the guide is usually stably anchored and/or interlocked in the upper section bar, and subsequent removal of the guide is not possible without considerable effort and cumbersome operations.
Another drawback is due to the fact that the upper section bar and the guide usually have a predetermined standard length.
This leads to the following requirements: installation technicians and retailers have a relatively large warehouse to store components of various sizes.
Further, in the case of installing a door smaller than a standard size, it is necessary to measure a required length and cut it. These operations are not possible with the products currently commercially available.
It is an object of the present invention to provide a composite profiled element for an inner wall frame of a sliding door which is capable of improving one or more aspects of the background art described above.
Within this aim, an object of the invention is to provide a composite profiled element for the inner frame of a wall of a sliding door which allows, if necessary, easy removal of the guide profile from the support profile.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a composite profiled element for the inner frame of the wall of a sliding door that allows to optimize the profile storage for the installation technician.
A further object of the present invention is to provide a composite profiled element for the inner frame of the wall of a sliding door which allows a quick and easy installation in case the door is smaller than standard dimensions.
It is a further object of the present invention to overcome the disadvantages of the background art in a manner that can be substituted for any of the existing solutions.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a composite profiled element for the inner frame of a wall of a sliding door which is highly reliable, relatively simple to provide and at competitive costs.
This aim and these and other objects that will become better apparent hereinafter are achieved by a composite profiled element for an inner wall frame of a sliding door, comprising a first support profile and a second guide profile, characterized in that it is provided with means for detachable association between said first profile and said second profile.

Further features and advantages of the invention will become more apparent from the description of a preferred but not exclusive embodiment of a composite profiled element according to the invention, illustrated by way of non-limiting example in the accompanying drawings, wherein:
Figure 1 is a view of a composite profiled element for an inner wall frame of a sliding door according to the invention in a functional application;
Figure 2 is a perspective view of a portion of a composite profiled element for an in-wall frame of a sliding door according to the present invention;
FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view of the composite profiled element of FIG. 2;
FIG. 4 is a perspective view of a portion of a detail of the composite profiled element of FIG. 2;
FIG. 5 is a perspective view of a portion of the composite profiled element of FIG. 2 in different detail;
FIG. 6 is a perspective view of a portion of further detail of the composite profiled element of FIG. 2.
With reference to the cited figures, a composite profiled element for the inner frame of a wall of a sliding door according to the present invention is generally indicated with reference numeral 10.
the profiled element 10 is applied in the upper part of the inner wall frame 11 of at least one sliding door 12.
in the example shown in the figures, the sliding door has a single leaf; however, the invention is also applicable in installations with more than one door leaf.
The profiled element 10 comprises a first support profile 13, which first support profile 13 is self-supporting and is arranged horizontally in the configuration of use.
Considering in particular the transverse section shown in fig. 3, the first profile 13 has two opposite lateral projections (lateral tabs), 14a and 14b respectively, which are mirror-symmetrical.
The projections 14a and 14b are adapted to form seats for the insertion of the lintel and/or for supporting and retaining the plasterboard panels. The projections 14a and 14b extend in a direction perpendicular to the upper plane 26 of the first section bar 13 in the opposite part with respect to the part close to the sliding door 12.
In the present description, the terms "upper" and "lower" refer to the configuration of use of the profiled element 10.
This first profile 13 comprises, in the portion opposite to the extension of the projections 14a and 14b, a seat 15 for the insertion of a second self-supporting guide profile 16.
One feature of the invention consists in the presence of means for the removable association between the first profile 13 and the second profile 16.
In the embodiment shown in the figures, the means are constituted by a plurality of fixing elements 17, these fixing elements 17 being integral with the second profile 16 and being adapted to enter respective through openings 18 provided on the first profile 13 in order to obtain a bayonet coupling.
In a different embodiment, not shown in the figures, the fixing elements are integral with the first section bar and the corresponding openings are located on the second section bar.
In particular, after mounting, the fixing element 17 extends from the upper surface of the second section bar 16, the upper surface of the second section bar 16 being in contact with the lower surface of the first section bar 13.
The fixing element 17 is constituted, for example, by a projection having an arcuate profile.
The openings 18 are arranged along two lines parallel to each other and to the lateral projections 14a, 14 b.
likewise, the fixing elements 17 extend along two lines parallel to each other and to the extension axis of the second profile 16.
In this way, the second profile 16 can be easily and simply joined to the first profile 13.
The removal of the second profile 16 from the first profile 13 is equally easy and quick if required.
the first profile 13 comprises a projection 25, which projection 25 extends in the same portion as the lateral projections 14a and 14b and extends parallel to the lateral projections 14a and 14 b.
The projection 25 is lower than the projections 14a and 14b of the end portions, but higher than the portion of the fixing element 17 that projects from the upper surface 26 of the first profile 13 after the second profile 16 has been engaged with the first profile 13.
The projection 25 is adapted to ensure a minimum manoeuvring height of the fixing element 17 after installation and to prevent the first profile 13 from being too close to the lintel, with the risk of compromising the joining system of the second profile 16.
The second profile 16 comprises a channel 19, which channel 19 has an opening portion 24, the extension of which opening portion 24 corresponds to the extension of the second profile 16. There is a track within the channel 19 so as to form with its rails 20a and 20b the ends of the open section 24.
On which two or more carriages 21 fixed to the upper part of the door 12 slide.
In order to avoid mutual sliding and subsequent disengagement between the second profile 16 and the first profile 13 during use of the door 12, means for preventing mutual sliding may be used, for example constituted by screws and/or pins (not shown in the figures) inserted in two corresponding and overlapping through holes: respectively 22 and 23.
The first holes 22 are arranged on the first section bar 13 and have an extension perpendicular to the upper plane 26, while the corresponding second holes 23 are located on the second section bar 16 and have the same extension axis as the first holes 22.
advantageously, the profiled element 10 may have two finishing profiles 27a and 27b, for example in the case of the application of an internal frame of walls flush with the walls, and therefore without boundary decoration.
The finishing profiles 27a and 27b have the same length and the same extension as the first profile 13 and are complementary to the lateral portions 28a and 28b of the first profile 13.
The finishing profiles 27a and 27b have a substantially L-shaped mirror-symmetrical profile and a member 29, which member 29 is adapted to be inserted with interference in a respective seat 30 located in the respective lateral portion 28a or 28b to ensure the coupling between the first profile 13 and the finishing profiles 27a, 27 b.
The member 29 is integral with the respective finishing profile 27a, 27b and has: a length equivalent to the length of the respective finishing profile 27a, 27b in which it is located, and an axis of extension parallel to the axis of extension of said finishing profile 27a, 27 b.
Likewise, the seat 30 has a length equal to the length of the respective lateral portion 28a, 28b on which it is located, and has an axis of extension parallel to the axis of extension of the first profile 13.
In particular, the finishing profiles 27a and 27b completely cover the outer lateral surface of the respective portions 28a and 28b of the first profile 13.
The expression "outer side surface" referred to above is understood as the surface of the finger portions 28a and 28b not directed towards the second profile 16 or towards the shoulder of the frame 11.
each finishing profile 27a, 27b has a portion 31 adjacent to the second profile 16 and inclined with respect to the door 12.
The portion 31 has a seat for inserting the brush, which has an extension that is linear and parallel to the sliding direction of the door 12. The inclined brushes (not shown in the figures) are adapted to prevent the diffusion of light arriving from the environment outside the door 12 when said door is in the closed configuration.
As an alternative to the brush, or in addition thereto, a sealing element of known type may be used.
All the parts of the shaped element 10 are made of aluminium or similar material and have a corrosion resistance of the C5 class according to the table set in the UNI EN ISO 12944 standard.
Another feature of the invention is that all the profiles that make up it are provided in standard lengths and have markings and/or guides 32 for cutting, with the particular working method associated with the product being provided in a particular length for the installation of doors of different sizes and/or smaller than the standard size.
In this way, the inventory of retailers and installation technicians may be reduced.
In practice it has been found that the invention achieves the intended aim and objects, a composite profiled element for the inner wall frame of a sliding door has been provided which allows the guide profile to be easily mounted and removed from the support profile, and which allows the storage capacity of the profile to be optimized.
The invention thus conceived is susceptible of numerous modifications and variations, all of which are within the scope of the appended claims; all the details may further be replaced with other technically equivalent elements.
In practice, the materials used, provided they are compatible with the specific use, as well as the contingent shapes and dimensions, may be any according to requirements and to the state of the art.
