Abstract
The invention discloses a pillow, in particular to an orthopedic pillow capable of effectively supporting neck, shoulders and back. The orthopedic pillow comprises a pillow body, wherein the pillow body consists of a head supporting area and a neck supporting area which are of an integrated structure, and the height of the neck supporting area is greater than that of the head supporting area; the outer contour of the cross section of the neck support area is composed of continuous arc segments and inclines to the side far away from the head support area, so that an obtuse angle is formed between the head support area and the neck support area. The invention has the advantages of providing comfortable, soft and reliable neck, shoulder and back support, thereby relieving vertebral and muscular stress, and preventing and relieving neck pain.
Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to a pillow, in particular to an orthopedic pillow capable of effectively supporting neck, shoulders and back.
Background
The most important prerequisite for good sleep at night is the creation of suitable sleeping conditions, so that nowadays more and more people are beginning to pay attention to the quality of sleeping appliances, such as bedframes, mattresses, pillows, etc., and to select products that perfectly relax the body, which can provide anatomically correct support for the vertebrae and the neck, wherein the nature and shape of the pillow is more important. As the spine of the cervical spine or the neck region of the shoulder and head requires a great deal of support to prevent pain and trauma while sleeping. However, since the shoulders are high, the neck and the shoulders cannot be sufficiently supported by the conventional pillow as shown in fig. 1, and the pain of the neck spine cannot be relieved, which has caused discomfort and even pain of the neck in the past. Neck pain is common but is easily misdiagnosed elsewhere as symptoms are perceived, such as headache or back pain, and the consequences of insufficient neck and shoulder support often become apparent after a long period of time and are therefore not generally appreciated, so it is important to select a pillow that can effectively support the neck and shoulders on a daily basis.
The ideal sleeping position is adjustable to the natural S-shape of the spine, to ensure maximum relief of the vertebrae and intervertebral discs, and to prevent unnatural twisting or pressure, providing anatomically correct support for the vertebral bodies and neck. Effective treatment requires adequate support of the lower cervical spine throughout the night, and the spine and neck must remain straight and in an anatomically correct position to relieve muscle and nerve bunching and maintain adequate support. When in the lateral position, the shape of the pillow should allow the head to bend slightly forward and fill the gap between the neck and the clavicle to provide optimal support for the cervical spine so that the muscles can relax even when sleeping on their side. However, none of the pillows in the general market provides such full support.
Disclosure of Invention
The technical problem to be solved by the invention is to provide an orthopedic pillow which can provide comfortable, soft and reliable neck, shoulder and back support, thereby relieving the pressure of vertebra and muscle and preventing and relieving neck pain.
The technical scheme adopted by the invention for solving the problems is as follows: the orthopedic pillow comprises a pillow body, wherein the pillow body consists of a head supporting area and a neck supporting area which are of an integrated structure, and the height of the neck supporting area is greater than that of the head supporting area; the outer contour of the cross section of the neck support area is composed of continuous arc segments and inclines to the side far away from the head support area, so that an obtuse angle is formed between the head support area and the neck support area.
The neck support area is concave inwards towards one side of the head support area to form an arc shape.
The invention is provided with a plurality of upper air holes on the head supporting area.
The invention also comprises a height-adjusting bottom cushion, wherein the height-adjusting bottom cushion is arranged below the pillow body, the shape of the height-adjusting bottom cushion is matched with the head supporting area, and the height-adjusting bottom cushion is provided with lower air holes corresponding to the upper air holes.
Compared with the prior art, the invention has the following beneficial effects: 1. the pillow body of the orthopedic pillow consists of a head supporting area and a neck supporting area which are integrally structured, the height of the neck supporting area is greater than that of the head supporting area, the outer contour of the cross section of the neck supporting area consists of continuous arc segments and inclines to one side far away from the head supporting area, so that an obtuse angle is formed between the head supporting area and the neck supporting area, the unique edge and shape design of the neck supporting area fills the space between the shoulder and the neck, the ideal positioning of the shoulder is ensured, the optimal support is provided for the neck, the shoulder and the back, the neck area is substantially supported, and the neck area is gently led into the natural anatomically correct position, no matter how the head and the shoulder rotate during sleeping, no matter whether the head and the shoulder lie on the side or lie on the back, the spine and the neck are always kept straight and are in the anatomically correct position, the muscle and nerve tension can be fully relieved, relieving vertebral and disc pressure; the orthopedic pillow can be used for the first time, one to four evenings are needed for getting used to the orthopedic pillow, various sizes can be designed for selection, and the orthopedic pillow is suitable for different crowds such as adult males, adult females, children and the like; 2. The height-adjustable bottom cushion can be placed below the pillow body when the pillow is used, and the height-adjustable bottom cushion is used for adjusting the overall height of the pillow so as to be suitable for people with different requirements on the height of the pillow; 3. the upper air holes and the lower air holes which are corresponding to each other are arranged on the head supporting area and the height adjusting base cushion of the orthopedic pillow, so that good air circulation is ensured, and sultriness is avoided.

Detailed Description
Referring to fig. 2-6, the present embodiment comprises a pillow body consisting of a head support region 1 and a neck support region 2 of an integral structure, the height of the neck support region 2 being greater than the height of the head support region 1. The outer contour of the cross section of the neck support area 2 consists of continuous arc line segments and inclines to one side far away from the head support area 1, so that an obtuse angle is formed between the head support area 1 and the neck support area 2; and the neck support region 2 is concave inwards towards one side of the head support region 1 to form an arc shape. The head supporting area 1 is provided with a plurality of upper air holes 3. When in use, the pillow cover 6 can be sleeved outside the pillow body to keep clean.
Referring to fig. 7, the present embodiment further includes a height-adjusting base pad 4 having a shape matching the head support region 1, and the height-adjusting base pad 4 is provided with lower ventilation holes 5 corresponding to the upper ventilation holes 3.
Referring to fig. 8, when in use, the height-adjusting bottom cushion 4 can be placed below the pillow body, and the height-adjusting bottom cushion 4 is used for adjusting the overall height of the orthopedic pillow, if the height of the pillow body is 11 cm and the height of the height-adjusting bottom cushion is 3 cm, the height of the pillow can be adjusted to 11 cm or 14 cm, so that the pillow is suitable for people with different requirements on the height of the pillow.
Referring to fig. 9, in use, the head is placed in the head support region 1 and the neck is placed in the neck support region 2. the unique shape of the neck support region 2 fills the space between the shoulder and the neck, ensures the desired positioning of the shoulder and provides optimal support for the neck and shoulder. No matter how the head and the shoulders rotate during sleeping, no matter whether the head and the shoulders lie on the side or on the back, the spine and the neck are always kept straight and in the anatomically correct position, the muscle and nerve tension can be fully relieved, and the pressure of the vertebrae and the intervertebral discs can be relieved. The number of the upper air holes 3 and the lower air holes 4 can be more than 90, so that good air circulation is ensured, and sultriness is avoided.
The orthopedic pillow is made of polyurethane foam or memory foam. An orthopedic pillow made of polyurethane foam provides active support, provides more robust anatomically correct positioning, and is suitable for shoulder and neck pressure, tension-induced headaches, spinal curvature, and the like. The orthopedic pillow made of the memory foam can absorb pressure and transmit the pressure downwards to the inside, and the orthopedic pillow can be slowly adjusted to any shape and is suitable for health problems caused by the sensitivity of muscles to the pressure. The orthopedic pillow made of the two materials can be washed by water.
The orthopedic pillow has the following indications: cervical pain, tension of neck muscles leading to tension headache, tension induced sleep problems; it is also suitable for treating osteoarthritis and prolapse, and preventing spinal curvature during side sleep. Contraindications for the orthopedic pillow are as follows: acute injury/cervical distortion or acute prolapse, poststroke meningitis, acute radiculitis of the neck, spasmodic torticollis, neurological disease or disorder, tumor.
