本申请提供的一种终端获取虚拟现实VR资源的方法及终端，涉及通信技术领域，有利于使得终端快速便捷的查找到用户需要的VR资源，提升了用户体验。该方法具体包括：终端检测到用户选择查找与特定图片相关的VR资源的操作时，终端自动获取特定图片的特征信息，并根据该特征信息生成请求。终端将该请求发送给VR服务器。终端再接收VR服务器根据该请求匹配到的相关VR资源的列表。
