Detailed Description
Exemplary embodiments of the present invention are described below with reference to the accompanying drawings. It should be understood that these specific illustrations are for the purpose of illustrating how one skilled in the art may practice the invention, and are not intended to be exhaustive of all of the possible ways of practicing the invention, nor to limit the scope of the invention.
If not specifically stated, the axial direction a refers to the axial direction of the power tool, the radial direction R refers to the radial direction of the power tool, the circumferential direction C refers to the circumferential direction of the power tool, and the axial direction, the radial direction, and the circumferential direction of the power tool are identical to those of the disposable working head 20. The front F is directed to the front side in the axial direction a, i.e., the end of the power tool on which the working head is mounted, and the rear B is directed to the rear side in the axial direction a.
As shown in fig. 1 to 3, the present invention proposes a power tool including a handle 10 and a disposable working head 20, such as a disposable cleaning head, the disposable working head 20 being detachably connected to the handle 10 by an insertion. The handle 10 is provided with a connecting rod 30 and a motor 40 inside, the connecting rod 30 is connected to the motor 40, and the disposable working head 20 is connected to the connecting rod 30.
As shown in fig. 3 to 6d, the disposable head 20 includes a head body 1, a wall portion 2, a notch 3, a fastening portion 4, and a cover portion 5.
The head body 1 may be formed in a columnar shape, for example, the head body 1 is columnar, and the axial rear end of the head body 1 is provided with a center hole 11. The central hole 11 is a stepped hole including a first hole 111 and a second hole 112, the first hole 111 is located at an axial front end of the second hole 112, that is, the second hole 112 is close to an opening of the central hole 11, and the first hole 111 is a non-circular hole, for example, a cross section of the first hole 111 is triangular or rectangular (including rounded rectangle), and the second hole 112 may be a circular hole. The first hole 111 is for cooperation with the connection rod 30 (power transmission portion 302) to thereby drive the disposable working head 20 to rotate through the connection rod 30.
As shown in fig. 4 and 5, the side wall of the second hole 112 is provided with at least two notches 3, the notches 3 separating the side wall of the second hole 112 in the circumferential direction C of the central hole 11 to form at least two wall portions 2. Specifically, the notch 3 is elongated extending in the axial direction a, and 3 notches 3 are provided in the circumferential direction C on the side wall of the second hole 112, thereby forming 3 tile-shaped wall portions 2 spaced apart in the circumferential direction C.
The wall 2 and/or the portion of the wall 2 that connects with the head body 1 are made of a material having toughness, such as polypropylene (PP) or Polyethylene (PE). It will be appreciated that the free end of the wall portion 2 may be deformed by being folded radially outwardly when subjected to an external force and may not automatically return to its original state completely after deformation. It will be appreciated that a ductile material may recover a portion of the deformation after being deformed under force, but may not automatically recover the unstressed deformed state.
The wall portion 2 is provided with a snap-in portion 4, and when the disposable working head 20 and the connecting rod 30 are connected together, the snap-in portion 4 is snapped into engagement with the stepped portion 303 of the connecting rod 30. Specifically, the fastening portion 4 may be disposed at a free end of the wall portion 2, and the fastening portion 4 may be a bump.
It will be appreciated that the fastening portion 4 may be disposed at other positions, for example, the fastening portion 4 may be disposed at the bottom of the central hole 11, so long as the fastening portion 4 and the step portion 303 cooperate to enable the connecting rod 30 and the disposable working head 20 to be fastened.
The cover 5 is connected to the peripheral wall of the head body 1, and the cover 5 is formed in an umbrella shape so that the cover 5 is closer to the rear end as it approaches the radially outer side, and the cover 5 surrounds the rear end of the head body 1 to cover the wall 2, thereby preventing the wall 2 from being manually moved when the disposable head 20 is mounted. When the disposable working head 20 and the connecting rod 30 are connected together, the cover 5 may cover the front end of the handle 10.
As shown in fig. 1 to 3, the handle 10 is a cylindrical cavity, and a connecting rod 30 and a motor 40 are provided inside the handle 10, and the connecting rod 30 is located at one end, for example, the front end, of the handle 10. The connecting rod 30 may be driven to vibrate or rotate by a motor 40 connected to the inside of the handle 10, the disposable working head 20 is inserted into the connecting rod 30, and the power tool is coaxial with the working head 20. The front end of the handle 10 is provided with a through hole 101, and the through hole 101 is used for receiving the disposable head 20, so that the disposable head 20 is inserted into the through hole 101 to be connected with the connecting rod 30. The connecting rod 30 is provided with a mounting portion 301, the mounting portion 301 being located at an axial front end of the connecting rod 30, the mounting portion 301 tapering from a rear end to a front end into a cone shape, for example, a cone shape. The mounting portion 301 forms a step portion 303, the step portion 303 may be located at a rear end of the mounting portion 301, and the step portion 303 may be engaged with the engagement portion 4 of the disposable working head 20. The connection rod 30 is provided with a power transmission portion 302, the power transmission portion 302 is located at the front side of the mounting portion 301, the front end of the connection rod 30 may protrude from the through hole 101, and the protruding portion may be used to position the disposable head 20 when the disposable head 20 is mounted, for example, a portion of the power transmission portion 302 protrudes from the through hole 101. The motor 40 may drive the connecting rod 30 to rotate, and the cross section of the power transmission part 302 is in a non-revolution shape, for example, the cross section of the power transmission part 302 is triangular or rectangular (including rounded rectangle), so that the power transmission part 302 and the first hole 111 cooperate to be capable of transmitting torque to drive the disposable working head 20 to rotate.
As shown in fig. 3, the maximum radial dimension of the mounting portion 301 is larger than the radial dimension of the through hole 101, and the minimum radial dimension of the mounting portion 301 is smaller than the radial dimension of the through hole 101.
It will be appreciated that when the disposable working head 20 is connected to the mounting portion 301, the wall portion 2 is located radially outside the mounting portion 301, the wall portion 2 is spread by the mounting portion 301, and the wall portion 2 is deformed or cracked due to the spreading, so that the maximum radial dimension of the wall portion 2 is larger than the radial dimension of the through hole 101. When the disposable head 20 is detached, the through hole 101 can press the tapered surface of the wall portion 2 to deform the wall portion 2, and the disposable head 20 can be pulled out of the through hole 101. But after the extraction of the disposable head 20, the maximum radial dimension of the wall portion 2 after shape recovery is still greater than the radial dimension of the through hole 101. Considering that the wall portion 2 has a certain thickness, even if the maximum radial dimension of the mounting portion 301 is equal to or slightly smaller than the radial dimension of the through hole 101, the maximum radial dimension of the wall portion 2 after being expanded can be made larger than the radial dimension of the through hole 101. When the disposable head 20 is to be reinserted into the through hole 101, the wall portion 2 will abut against the periphery of the through hole 101, so that the wall portion 2 cannot be inserted into the through hole 101, and the disposable head 20 cannot be reinstalled. It will be appreciated that, with the detached disposable head 20, even if the wall portion 2 can be inserted into the through hole 101, since the wall portion 2 has been deformed or cracked, the catching portion 4 cannot be firmly caught to the stepped portion 303, and the disposable head 20 cannot be reliably reinstalled, resulting in the disposable head 20 not being reused.
Referring to fig. 6a to 6d, the process of mounting and dismounting the disposable working head 20 to and from the connection rod 30 is described.
As shown in fig. 6a and 6b, the central hole 11 of the disposable head 20 is aligned with the through hole 101 and the power transmission portion 302 protruding out of the handle 10. The wall portion 2 is inserted into the through hole 101, and the connection rod 30 is inserted into the center hole 11. Since the mounting portion 301 is tapered, when the connecting rod 30 is inserted into the center hole 11, the mounting portion 301 presses the wall portion 2 to be folded and deformed radially outward, the wall portion 2 is spread, and the engaging portion 4 is hooked on the stepped portion 303, so that the disposable head 20 is mounted on the connecting rod 30.
As shown in fig. 6c and 6d, after the disposable working head 20 is used, the disposable working head 20 is directly pulled out by force, and the disposable working head 20 cannot be reinstalled because the wall portion 2 is already spread to cause deformation or cracking and the maximum radial dimension of the wall portion 2 after being spread is larger than the radial dimension of the through hole 101. Also, due to the shielding of the cover 5, during the insertion process, it is not easy to manually move the wall portion 2, to insert the wall portion 2 into the through hole 101, and even if the wall portion 2 is inserted into the through hole 101, it is difficult to stably engage the locking portion 4 with the stepped portion 303. It is therefore necessary to replace the disposable head 20 with a new one, making the disposable head 20 difficult to reuse, reducing or avoiding the risk of contamination due to the secondary use of the disposable.
Other embodiments of the application will be apparent to those skilled in the art from consideration of the specification and practice of the application disclosed herein. This application is intended to cover any variations, uses, or adaptations of the application following, in general, the principles of the application and including such departures from the present disclosure as come within known or customary practice within the art to which the application pertains.
