Fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of a display 100 according to an embodiment of the invention. The display 100 includes a housing 102, a display panel 104, a universal serial bus hub (USB hub) 106, a KVM (KVM) 108, a camera module 110, a sliding door 112, a scaler 116, a high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) 118, and a display port (DisplayPort) 120.
The display panel 104 is mounted on the housing 102. The usb hub 106 is mounted in the housing 102 for coupling to an electronic device, such as a mobile phone, a tablet, a desktop computer, or a notebook computer. In fig. 1, the display 100 is coupled to an electronic device 150 and an electronic device 160. The camera module 110 is disposed on the housing 102 and has an imaging lens 114. The camera module 110 is coupled to the usb hub 106 for receiving the image and transmitting the image to the electronic device 150 or the electronic device 160 through the usb hub 106. In an embodiment, the KVM switch 108 may be built into the USB hub 106 for selectively switching the electronic device 150 to be coupled to the camera module 110 or selectively switching the electronic device 160 to be coupled to the camera module 110. The camera module 110 has a sliding rail 122 thereon, and the sliding door 112 is movably disposed on the sliding rail 122. The high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) 118 and the display port (DisplayPort) 120 are used for coupling the electronic device 150 and the electronic device 160 and transmitting the image signal to the display 100. The scaler 116 is used for adjusting the frame signals transmitted from the electronic device 150 and the electronic device 160 to display a proper frame ratio on the display panel 104.
Fig. 2 to 5 are schematic diagrams of a camera module 110 and a sliding door 112 in the embodiment. The camera module 110 includes a first terminal 124, the first terminal 124 is located at the left end of the camera module 110, the sliding door 112 includes a second terminal 126, the second terminal 126 is located at the left end of the sliding door, and the sliding door 112 has two openings. As shown in fig. 1, 2 and 3, when the sliding door 112 slides along the sliding rail 122 to the left end (the first position) of the camera module 110, the photographing lens 114 can photograph through the opening on the right side, and the first terminal 124 contacts the second terminal 126. By means of the potential of the first terminal 124 or the change thereof, the camera module 110 can send out a logic signal to the KVM switch 108 to switch the connection device, and the electronic device 160 can be coupled with the camera module 110 via the KVM switch 108. As shown in fig. 4, when the sliding door 112 slides along the sliding rail 122 to the right end (the second position) of the camera module 110, the imaging lens 114 can image through the left opening, and the first terminal 124 is offset from the second terminal 126, wherein the offset means that the first terminal and the second terminal are not in signal contact. By the potential of the first terminal 124 or the change thereof, the camera module 110 can send another logic signal to the KVM switch 108 to switch the connection device, at this time, the KVM switch 108 can disconnect the connection with the electronic device 160, and the electronic device 150 can establish the connection with the camera module 110 through the KVM switch 108. As shown in fig. 5, the sliding door 112 can slide between the left end and the right end to shield the imaging lens 114. The logic signal may be General-purpose input/output (GPIO), integrated circuit bus (Inter-Integrated Circuit, I2C), universal asynchronous receiver/transmitter (UART) or any other logic signal that may be used to trigger the KVM switch 108. The electronic device 150 and the electronic device 160 may be any devices that can be coupled to the usb hub 106, such as a desktop computer, a notebook computer, a tablet computer, or a mobile phone.
Fig. 6 to 8 are schematic diagrams of a camera module 110 and a sliding door 112 according to another embodiment. Fig. 6 is a schematic view of a sliding door in a first position according to another embodiment, fig. 7 is a schematic view of the sliding door in a second position according to fig. 6, and fig. 8 is a schematic view of the sliding door in a first position and a second position according to fig. 6. Unlike the embodiment shown in fig. 2, in the embodiment of fig. 3-5, the sliding door 112 has no aperture. As shown in fig. 6, when the sliding door is disposed at the left end of the camera module 110 (i.e., in the first position), the imaging lens 114 is not shielded by the sliding door 112, and the first terminal 124 contacts the second terminal 126. By the potential of the first terminal 124 or the change thereof, the camera module 110 sends a logic signal to the KVM switch 108 to switch the connection device, at this time, the KVM switch 108 cuts off the coupling with the electronic device 150, and the electronic device 160 establishes the coupling with the camera module 110 through the KVM switch 108. As shown in fig. 7, when the sliding door 112 slides to the right end of the camera module 110 (at the second position), the imaging lens 114 is not shielded by the sliding door 112, and the first terminal 124 is displaced from the second terminal 126. By the potential of the first terminal 124 or the change thereof, the camera module 110 sends another logic signal to the KVM switch 108 to switch the connection device, and the electronic device 150 is coupled to the camera module 110 via the KVM switch 108. In addition, the sliding door 112 can slide between the left end and the right end as shown in fig. 8 to shield the imaging lens 114. Wherein the logic signal may be a GPIO, I2C, UART, or any other logic signal that may be used to trigger the KVM switch 108. The electronic device 150 and the electronic device 160 may be any devices that can be coupled to the usb hub 106, such as a desktop computer, a notebook computer, a tablet computer, or a mobile phone.
In some embodiments of the present invention, the first terminal 124 may also be located at the right end of the camera module 110, and the second terminal 126 of the sliding door 112 may also be located at the right end. Thus, when the sliding door is disposed at the right end of the camera module 110, the first terminal 124 can contact the second terminal 126, and the switching coupling is performed in the same manner as described above.
Fig. 9 is a schematic diagram of a display 200 according to another embodiment of the invention. Unlike the embodiment of fig. 1, the display 200 includes a KVM switch 108 that is disposed outside of and coupled to the USB hub 106, and the camera module 110 is coupled to the USB hub 106 and the KVM switch 108 for receiving images and transmitting the images to the electronic device 150 or the electronic device 160 via the KVM switch 108. Other configurations and operations are similar to those of the display 100 and are not described herein.
In summary, the display provided by the embodiment of the invention uses the sliding door position to switch the camera lens to the designated electronic device, so that the display can be connected with a plurality of electronic devices simultaneously, receive the picture signals of the electronic devices and display proper pictures on the display panel, and can establish the connection with the camera module by a simple, quick and intuitive switching manner to operate the camera module, thereby increasing the practicability and convenience in use.
