Abstract
本发明提供一种基于原位电镀的F‑P光纤高温传感器制备方法,包括如下步骤:(1)将入射光纤和反射光纤进行预处理;(2)将入射光纤和反射光纤的第一端切平;(3)将入射光纤的第一端插入毛细钢管的一端,将反射光纤的第一端插入毛细钢管的另一端,入射光纤和反射光纤的第一端保持适当距离形成F‑P腔,得到F‑P光纤高温传感器;(4)将F‑P光纤高温传感器放入含有预镀金属的盐溶液中,将入射光纤通过金属片与电源连接,以预镀金属为阳极,以F‑P光纤高温传感器为阴极进行电镀,得到基于原位电镀的F‑P光纤高温传感器。本发明方法在不损伤光纤和毛细钢管的前提下能够很容易地将整个F‑P腔元件固定,所得传感器可稳定地进行温度传感,具有很高的可靠性。
Description
技术领域
本发明属于光纤温度传感器技术领域,具体涉及一种基于原位电镀的F-P光纤高温传感器及其制备方法。
背景技术
光纤法布里-珀罗(简称F-P)传感器是利用光纤与毛细管构建的F-P腔形成的传感器,其中非本征F-P传感器是利用两光纤端面之间形成的空气间隙从而构成一个腔长为L的微腔,该类光纤传感器因为其具有结构简单、体积小、可靠性高、单根光纤信号传输、制作简单等优点而成为现在应用最广泛的一类光纤传感器。其工作原理为当一束相干光束通过入射光纤传输到F-P腔中时,光在光纤F-P腔的两端面发生多次反射,形成干涉并沿原路返回,其干涉输出信号是与F-P腔的腔长有关的。即是当外界环境参量(如温度、压力、应变等)以一定方式作用于F-P腔,使其腔长L发生变化,导致其干涉输出信号也发生相应变化。根据此原理,就可以从干涉信号的变化中导出F-P腔长度的变化,从而实现对各种被测参量的检测。
传统的非本征光纤F-P腔传感器的制作方法,通常是将两根光纤分别从毛细管的两端插入,保证两个光纤端面的平整并且两端面保持合适的距离以形成F-P腔,然后通过粘胶或者焊接的方法将毛细管与光纤固定。专利CN103335949A是将入射光纤与反射光纤插入毛细玻璃管中,然后采用激光焊接的方法将两者焊接在一起以达到固定的目的,从而形成一个EFPI传感器。专利CN108444624A是将入射光纤焊接于毛细玻璃管中,毛细玻璃管焊接于毛细石英管的一端,反射组件焊接于毛细石英管的另一端,采取全焊接的方法以达到固定的目的,形成一个EFPI传感器。采取焊接的方法,容易对光纤和毛细管产生损伤且不易固定;采取胶粘的方式则是固定的可靠性不高,且无法在高压高温等恶劣环境下工作。
发明内容
为了克服传统方法制作的光纤F-P传感器的缺点,本发明采取基于原位电镀的方法制作F-P光纤高温传感器,该制作方法操作简单,成本较低,且具有较高的可靠性。
一种基于原位电镀的F-P光纤高温传感器的制备方法,包括如下步骤:
(1)将入射光纤和反射光纤进行预处理,所述预处理包括去除保护层、除油、敏化、活化、化学镀和电镀;
(2)将所述入射光纤和反射光纤的第一端切平,保证其端面平整;
(3)将所述入射光纤的第一端插入毛细钢管的一端,将所述反射光纤的第一端插入毛细钢管的另一端,所述入射光纤和反射光纤的第一端保持适当的距离形成F-P腔,得到F-P光纤高温传感器;
(4)将F-P光纤高温传感器放入含有预镀金属的盐溶液中,将入射光纤通过金属片与电源连接,以预镀金属为阳极,以F-P光纤高温传感器为阴极进行电镀,最后得到基于原位电镀的F-P光纤高温传感器。
将入射光纤和反射光纤进行预处理时,所镀的金属为镍、铜或锌。
在步骤2中,先采用化学退镀法除去入射光纤和反射光纤的第一端表面的镀层,再将所述入射光纤和反射光纤的第一端切平。以镀层为镍为例,将入射光纤和反射光纤的第一端放入浓硝酸中,反应温度20~60℃,溶解掉表面的镍层。
在步骤1中,所述入射光纤和反射光纤经电镀后,所述入射光纤和反射光纤的直径与毛细钢管的内径相配合。
根据本发明的基于原位电镀的F-P光纤高温传感器的制备方法,所述入射光纤和反射光纤均为单模光纤或多模光纤。
根据本发明的基于原位电镀的F-P光纤高温传感器的制备方法,所述入射光纤和反射光纤的材质均为二氧化硅。
本发明还提供了采用上述方法所制得的基于原位电镀的F-P光纤高温传感器。
本发明取得的有益效果:(1)采用原位电镀的方法对传感器进行固定,操作简单,成本较低且具有较高的稳定性,可以承受较高的压力;(2)选择电镀的方法,加工温度低,易于实现,在不损伤光纤和毛细钢管的前提下很容易将光纤和毛细钢管固定在一起。

具体实施方式
为使本发明实施例的目的,技术方案和优点更加清楚,以下将结合附图和实施例,对本发明技术方案的具体实施方式进行更加详细,清楚的说明。
实施例1
一种基于原位电镀的F-P光纤高温传感器的制备方法,包括如下步骤:
(1)将入射光纤和反射光纤分别用光纤钳剥除表面保护层,露出长约15cm的裸光纤区域,用蘸有酒精的脱脂棉擦拭裸光纤表面,裸光纤直径约为125um;
(2)将入射光纤和反射光纤分别依次放入敏化液、活化液中,敏化和活化时间均为30min;
(3)将入射光纤和反射光纤放入化学镀镍溶液中,同时87℃水浴加热两小时;
(4)将入射光纤和反射光纤分别固定在铜片上,连接电源的负极,放入电镀镍溶液中,电源的正极连接镍棒,且镍棒的一端浸入电镀镍溶液中,通5mA的电流电镀2~3小时,每半小时通过螺旋测微计测量光纤直径,保证入射光纤和反射光纤的最终直径达到185~195um,取出;
(5)将入射光纤和反射光纤的一端2cm左右区域分别放入浓硝酸中腐蚀,溶解掉表面的镍层;
(6)将入射光纤和反射光纤被腐蚀后的一端切平,保证其端面的平整度;
(7)准备内径为200um左右的毛细钢管,将入射光纤插入毛细钢管的一端,推进到合适位置;将反射光纤插入毛细钢管的另一端,推进到合适位置,使得入射光纤与反射光纤的端面形成F-P腔,制成F-P光纤高温传感器,其中F-P腔的腔长约为190um;
(8)将F-P光纤高温传感器放入电镀镍溶液中,将入射光纤的另一端通过铜片连接电源,以F-P光纤高温传感器为阴极,镍棒为阳极,通5mA电流电镀7~9小时,每隔半小时观察F-P腔反射信号的变化,保证F-P光纤高温传感器在原位电镀过程中始终能产生明显可靠的信号,最后得到基于原位电镀的F-P光纤高温传感器,本实施例的F-P光纤高温传感器的结构示意图见图1。
所述的F-P腔,当一束相干光束通过入射光纤传输到F-P腔中时,光在光纤F-P腔的两端面发生多次反射,形成干涉并沿原路返回,其干涉输出信号是与F-P腔的腔长有关的。即是当外界环境参量(如温度、压力、应变等)以一定方式作用于F-P腔时,使其腔长L发生变化,导致其干涉输出信号也发生相应的变化。根据此原理,就可以从干涉信号的变化中导出F-P腔长度的变化,从而实现对各种被测参量的检测。针对实施例中制备的具有高可靠性的光纤高温传感器,进行高温试验,其具体试验过程如下:
试验一:将本实施例的光纤高温传感器的一端与1×2平面波导型光分路器的一端FC接头连接,光分路器另一端的两个FC接头分别与宽带光源和光谱仪连接,显示干涉信号;
试验二:将本实施例的光纤高温传感器放入管式加热炉中,加热试验从室温开始,每隔100℃检测一次F-P光纤高温传感器的反射光谱,直到400℃,以热电偶温度作为参考。
本实施例的F-P光纤高温传感器的高温传感结果参见附图2和3。从试验结果来看,本发明制造的F-P光纤高温传感器在400℃以下温度范围内可以进行温度传感,其温度灵敏度达到4pm/℃,分辨率达到0.25℃/pm,满足高温传感的技术要求。
实施例2:本实施例的制作方法与实施例1相同,区别在于F-P光纤高温传感器的腔长约为160um。将光纤高温传感器同样放入管式加热炉中,加热试验从室温开始,每隔100℃检测一次F-P光纤高温传感器的反射光谱,直到400℃,以热电偶的温度作为参考。实验结果发现,这一F-P光纤高温传感器在400℃以下温度范围内同样可以进行温度传感,其温度灵敏度达到7pm/℃,分辨率达到0.14℃/pm,满足高温传感的技术要求。
上述试验说明本发明的F-P光纤高温传感器具有可重复性,且不同腔长的F-P光纤高温传感器具有不同的灵敏度,可以满足不同的传感要求,应用于高温环境的检测。

Claims (5)
1.一种基于原位电镀的F-P光纤高温传感器的制备方法,其特征在于,包括如下步骤:
(1)将入射光纤和反射光纤分别用光纤钳剥除表面保护层,露出长约15cm的裸光 纤区域,用蘸有酒精的脱脂棉擦拭裸光纤表面,裸光纤直径约为125um;
(2)将入射光纤和反射光纤分别依次放入敏化液、活化液中,敏化和活化时间均 为30min;
(3)将入射光纤和反射光纤放入化学镀镍溶液中,同时87℃水浴加热两小时;
(4)将入射光纤和反射光纤分别固定在铜片上,连接电源的负极,放入电镀镍溶 液中,电源的正极连接镍棒,且镍棒的一端浸入电镀镍溶液中,通5mA的电流电镀2~ 3小时,每半小时通过螺旋测微计测量光纤直径,保证入射光纤和反射光纤的最终直径达到185~195um,取出;
(5)将入射光纤和反射光纤的第一端2cm左右区域分别放入浓硝酸中腐蚀,溶解掉 表面的镍层;
(6)将入射光纤和反射光纤被腐蚀后的第一端切平,保证其端面的平整度;
(7)准备内径为200um左右的毛细钢管,将入射光纤的第一端插入毛细钢管的一端,推进到合适位置;将反射光纤的第一端插入毛细钢管的另一端,推进到合适位置,使得入射光纤与反 射光纤的端面形成F-P腔,制成F-P光纤高温传感器,其中F-P腔的腔长约为190um;
(8)将F-P光纤高温传感器放入电镀镍溶液中,将入射光纤的另一端通过铜片连 接电源,以F-P光纤高温传感器为阴极,镍棒为阳极,通5mA电流电镀7~9小时,每隔半小时观察F-P腔反射信号的变化,保证F-P光纤高温传感器在原位电镀过程中始终能产生明显可靠的信号,最后得到基于原位电镀的F-P光纤高温传感器。
2.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,在步骤1中,所述入射光纤和反射光纤经电镀后,所述入射光纤和反射光纤的直径与毛细钢管的内径相配合。
3.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,所述入射光纤和反射光纤均为单模光纤或多模光纤。
4.根据权利要求3所述的方法,其特征在于,所述入射光纤和反射光纤的材质均为二氧化硅。
5.根据权利要求1至4中任一项所述的方法所制得的基于原位电镀的F-P光纤高温传感器。
