And outputting a signal to the second control terminal 221 through the flexible circuit board 300 to control the second transistor M2 to be turned on.
Further, in practical implementation, in an embodiment of the present invention, the display panel further includes: a Printed Circuit Board (PCB) to output a signal to the FPC through the PCB.
Based on the same inventive concept, the embodiment of the invention also provides a detection method of the display panel. The detection method can comprise the following steps:
in the lighting detection stage, the second control terminal is controlled to float, the detection jig is electrically connected with the first control terminal, a first voltage signal is loaded to the first control terminal, and each third control unit is controlled to be closed;
and loading detection signals to the detection signal lines through the detection jig.
In a specific implementation, after the lighting detection stage, the method may further include: a reliability detection stage;
and in the reliability detection stage, the first control terminal is controlled to be in floating connection, the flexible circuit board is used for controlling the driving chip to output signals, and the second control terminal is loaded with second voltage signals to control the conduction of each third control unit.
In a specific implementation manner, in the embodiment of the present invention, in the display stage, the first control terminal is controlled to float, the flexible circuit board controls the driving chip to output a signal, and the second control terminal is loaded with the second voltage signal to control the third control units to be turned on.
The following describes a detection process of the display panel according to the embodiment of the present invention with reference to the structures of the display panel shown in fig. 2 and fig. 3, but readers will understand that the specific process is not limited thereto.
In the lighting detection stage, the detection fixture is electrically connected to each first control terminal 211 to apply a first voltage signal (e.g. a voltage signal of 7V) to the first control terminal 211, since the gate voltage Vg of the first transistor M1 and the source voltage Vs thereof satisfy: vg-Vs =0V-7V = -7V, the first transistor M1 is controlled to be turned on to supply the first voltage signal to each third transistor M3, and each third transistor M3 is controlled to be turned off, thereby disconnecting the driving chip 130 from the driving signal line 110. And, the second control terminal 221 is controlled to float, so that Vg of the second transistor and the source voltage Vs thereof satisfy: vg-Vs =0V-0V =0V, the second transistor M2 is controlled to be turned off, thereby disconnecting the second control terminal 221 from each third transistor M3.
By loading the detection signal to each detection signal line 120 through the detection fixture, since the third transistor M3 is turned off, the influence of the internal circuit in the driving chip 130 on the detection signal can be avoided, and thus the display area A1 of the display panel can be controlled to be turned on through the detection signal to detect whether the display panel is defective or not. If no defect is found in the lighting detection stage, the components such as the FPC300 and the PCB are assembled.
And then assembling the display panel with elements such as an FPC (flexible printed circuit), a PCB (printed circuit board) and the like. After the assembly is completed, a reliability testing stage is performed to test the reliability of the display panel (e.g., testing the reliability at 85 deg.C and 85 deg.C). In the reliability detection phase, a second voltage signal (for example, a voltage signal of-7V) is applied to the second control terminal 221 through the FPC, since the gate voltage Vg of the second transistor M2 and the source voltage Vs thereof satisfy: vg-Vs = -7V-0V = -7V, the second transistor M2 is controlled to be turned on to provide the second voltage signal to each third transistor M3, and each third transistor M3 is controlled to be turned on to turn on the driving chip 130 and the driving signal line 110. And outputting signals to the driving chip through the FPC to control the driving chip 130 to output signals to each driving signal line 110 so as to control the display area A1 of the display panel to be lightened, so as to perform a reliability test on the display panel.
It should be noted that, in the reliability test, the first control terminal 211 is controlled to float, so that Vg of the first transistor M1 and the source voltage Vs thereof satisfy: vg-Vs = -7V-0V = -7V, the first transistor M1 may be controlled to be turned on, so that the first control terminal 211 has a voltage of-7V, and the reliability test is not affected because no other signal is loaded to the first control terminal 211 at this stage.
In a specific implementation, the voltage value of the first voltage signal is different from the voltage value of the second voltage signal. Of course, in practical applications, the voltage value of the first voltage signal and the voltage value of the second voltage signal may be determined according to the type of the transistor in the practical application environment, and are not limited herein.
When the display panel enters the display stage and normal display is realized, a second voltage signal (for example, a voltage signal of-7V) is applied to the second control terminal 221 through the FPC, since the gate voltage Vg of the second transistor M2 and the source voltage Vs thereof satisfy: vg-Vs = -7V-0V = -7V, the second transistor M2 is controlled to be turned on to provide the second voltage signal to each third transistor M3, and each third transistor M3 is controlled to be turned on to turn on the driving chip 130 and the driving signal line 110. And outputting signals to the driving chip through the FPC to control the driving chip 130 to output signals to each driving signal line 110, so as to control the display area A1 of the display panel to display, so that the display panel realizes a display function. And, the first control terminal 211 is controlled to float, so that Vg of the first transistor M1 and the source voltage Vs thereof satisfy: vg-Vs = -7V-0V = -7V, the first transistor M1 may be controlled to be turned on, so that the first control terminal 211 has a voltage of-7V, and the first control terminal 211 does not load other signals at this stage, so that the display is not affected.
Based on the same inventive concept, the embodiment of the invention further provides a display device, which comprises the display panel provided by the embodiment of the invention. The principle of the display device to solve the problem is similar to the display panel, so the implementation of the display device can be referred to the implementation of the display panel, and repeated details are not repeated herein.
In specific implementation, the display device provided in the embodiment of the present invention may be: any product or component with a display function, such as a mobile phone, a tablet computer, a television, a display, a notebook computer, a digital photo frame, a navigator and the like. Other essential components of the display device are understood by those skilled in the art, and are not described herein or should not be construed as limiting the invention.
In the display device, the components such as the FPC and the PCB are disposed on the backlight side of the display panel, and the bending region of the display panel needs to be bent so that the bonding region is disposed on the backlight side of the display panel, which may reduce the lower frame of the display panel.
In the display panel, the detection method thereof and the display device provided by the embodiment of the invention, each driving signal line and each detection signal line are electrically connected with the driving chip through the corresponding third control unit, the first control unit is electrically connected with the first control terminal and the control ends of all the third control units respectively, and the second control unit is electrically connected with the second control terminal and the control ends of all the third control units respectively, so that the third control unit can be controlled by the first control unit to be turned off in the lighting detection stage, the driving chip is isolated from the driving signal lines, the influence of an internal circuit in the driving chip on the detection signal is further avoided, and the detection result is improved. When the display area is driven to display, the second control unit controls the third control unit to be conducted, so that the driving chip is conducted with the driving signal line, and the driving signal generated by the driving chip is transmitted to the display area through the driving signal line, so that the display function is realized.
It will be apparent to those skilled in the art that various changes and modifications may be made in the present invention without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. Thus, if such modifications and variations of the present invention fall within the scope of the claims of the present invention and their equivalents, the present invention is also intended to include such modifications and variations.
