用于解决问题的方案
本发明的一个方式的显示面板是形成有缺口或挖通部的显示面板,上述显示面板包含:显示部,其包含子像素;以及非显示区,其位于上述缺口或上述挖通部与上述显示部之间,设置有经过上述显示部和上述非显示区的扫描信号线、以及至少一部分位于上述非显示区的导电体,上述扫描信号线与上述导电体隔着绝缘膜重叠。
发明效果
根据本发明的一个方式,能够抑制形成有缺口或挖通部的异形的显示面板的亮度不均。

液晶面板LP具备:有源矩阵基板3,其包含数据信号线DL、扫描信号线Gm、Gn等扫描信号线、以及栅极驱动器GD1、GD2;液晶层4;彩色滤光片基板5,其包含彩色滤光片;以及功能层6,其包含光学膜、触摸面板等。
液晶面板LP是形成有缺口(cutout)NZ的异形面板,在显示部DA中设置多个子像素(SPm、SPn、SPM、SPN)。
子像素SPi(i=m、n、M、N)包含晶体管TR和像素电极PE,连接到扫描信号线Gi(i=m、n)和数据信号线DL。数据信号线DL向子像素SPi供应数据信号。具体地说,像素电极PE经由晶体管TR连接到数据信号线DL,晶体管TR的栅极电极连接到扫描信号线Gi。另外,在像素电极PE和共用电极com间形成液晶电容Clc,在像素电极PE和辅助电容配线CSi间形成辅助电容Ccs。此外,辅助电容配线CSi形成于有源矩阵基板3,共用电极com形成于有源矩阵基板3或彩色滤光片基板5。晶体管TR的沟道能够使用氧化物半导体(例如In-Ga-Zn-O系的半导体)、低温多晶硅(LTPS)、非晶硅等。
〔实施方式1〕
在图1中,栅极驱动器GD1、GD2设置在包围显示部DA(形成多个子像素且能显示图像的部分)的非显示部NA(未形成子像素的部分)。显示部DA包含:侧部区域SA1,其在扫描信号线的延伸方向(图1的(a)的左右方向)上位于缺口NZ的一侧;侧部区域SA2,其在扫描信号线的延伸方向(图1的(a)的左右方向)上位于缺口NZ的另一侧;以及主区域MA,其在数据信号线DL的延伸方向(图1的(a)的上下方向)上位于比缺口NZ靠内侧(中央侧)。非显示部NA包含位于缺口NZ与侧部区域SA1、SA2之间的非显示区HZ。在图1的液晶面板LP中,能够以位于缺口NZ内的方式配置相机镜头、各种传感器等。
扫描信号线Gm经过主区域MA并连接到栅极驱动器GD1、GD2。扫描信号线Gn经过侧部区域SA1、SA2以及非显示区HZ并连接到栅极驱动器GD1、GD2。
连接到扫描信号线Gn的子像素的数量小于连接到扫描信号线Gm的子像素的数量,因此,从各栅极驱动器(GD1、GD2)来看,扫描信号线Gn的负荷低于扫描信号线Gm的负荷。
图2的(a)是示出实施方式1中的缺口周边的构成的俯视图,图2的(b)是(a)的b-b向视截面图。如图2所示,在有源矩阵基板3中,在基板10上层叠有:半导体膜SC;无机绝缘膜14,其与半导体膜SC相比位于上层;栅极电极GE,其比无机绝缘膜14靠上层;无机绝缘膜16,其比栅极电极GE靠上层;数据信号线DL,其比无机绝缘膜16靠上层;无机绝缘膜18,其比数据信号线DL靠上层;有机绝缘膜20,其比无机绝缘膜18靠上层;像素电极PE,其比有机绝缘膜20靠上层;无机绝缘膜21,其比像素电极PE靠上层;共用电极com,其比无机绝缘膜21靠上层;无机绝缘膜22,其比共用电极com靠上层;以及取向膜(未图示),其比无机绝缘膜22靠上层。
无机绝缘膜14、16、18、21、22例如能够使用氮化硅、氧化硅,有机绝缘膜(平坦化膜)20例如能够使用聚酰亚胺、丙烯酸等可涂敷的感光性有机材料。像素电极PE和共用电极com能够使用ITO、IZO等透光性的导电膜。栅极电极GE、数据信号线DL例如能够使用铝(Al)、钨(W)、钼(Mo)、钽(Ta)、铬(Cr)、钛(Ti)、铜(Cu)。
以包含栅极电极GE和半导体膜SC的方式构成晶体管TR,数据信号线DL经由接触孔连接到半导体膜SC的源极区域(低电阻区域),像素电极PE经由接触孔连接到半导体膜SC的漏极区域(低电阻区域)。此外,通过在像素电极PE与共用电极com之间产生的横向电场来控制液晶层4的(图1)的取向。
与栅极电极GE相连的扫描信号线Gn(与栅极电极GE同一层)经过作为显示部DA的一部分的侧部区域SA1、SA2以及非显示区HZ。扫描信号线Gn在非显示区HZ中包含宽度局部变大的宽幅部Gh。
在非显示区HZ设置有与晶体管TR的半导体膜SC同一层的导电体Ms,扫描信号线Gn的宽幅部Gh与导电体Ms隔着无机绝缘膜14重叠。导电体Ms经由接触孔CH和支配线Wb连接到干配线Wp(恒定电压配线)。这样,能够通过扫描信号线Gn的宽幅部Gh与导电体Ms的重叠来形成电容。
导电体Ms与半导体膜SC的低电阻区域(源极区域、漏极区域)能够在同一工序中形成。共用电极com被供应共用电压Vcom,栅极驱动器GD1、GD2被供应低压侧电源电压Vss和高压侧电源电压Vdd。干配线Wp只要被供应固定电压(例如Vcom、Vss或Vdd)即可。
图3的(a)是示出栅极驱动器(GD1)的构成的示意图,(b)是示出该栅极驱动器的动作的时序图。图4的(a)是示出栅极驱动器(GD2)的构成的示意图,(b)是示出该栅极驱动器的动作的时序图。图5是示出实施方式1的效果的波形图。图6是示出比较例的波形的波形图。
栅极驱动器GD1包含多级触发器(flip-flop)和多级输出电路,连接到第m级触发器Fm的输出电路Xm连接到扫描信号线Gm,连接到第n级触发器Fn的输出电路Xn连接到扫描信号线Gn。
另外,栅极驱动器GD2包含多级触发器和多级输出电路,连接到第m级触发器FM的输出电路XM连接到扫描信号线Gm,连接到第n级触发器FN的输出电路XN连接到扫描信号线Gn。
在实施方式1中,在非显示区HZ,对负荷比扫描信号线Gm低的扫描信号线Gn附加了电容,因此,如图3的(b)、图4的(b)以及图5所示,能够使从输出电路Xn、XN输出到扫描信号线Gn的扫描脉冲Pn的返回波形(图中由虚线包围的下降波形)与从输出电路Xm、XM输出到扫描信号线Gm的扫描脉冲Pm的返回波形一致,能够降低侧部区域SA1、SA2与主区域MA之间的亮度不均。
如图5所示,关于扫描信号线Gm,在扫描脉冲Pm返回(下降)的定时,像素电极PE的电压Vp向负方向被下拉ΔVm,关于扫描信号线Gn,在扫描脉冲Pn返回(下降)的定时,像素电极PE的电压Vp向负方向被下拉ΔVn。下拉电压ΔVm、ΔVn是由扫描信号线与像素电极间的寄生电容(Cgd)引起的。共用电极的电压Vcom的最佳值依赖于下拉电压ΔVm、ΔVn,下拉电压ΔVm、ΔVn依赖于扫描脉冲Pm、Pn的返回波形,因此,通过使扫描脉冲Pm、Pn的返回波形一致,从而Vcom的最佳值在侧部区域SA1、SA2与主区域MA中是吻合的,亮度不均得到抑制。
此外,在不对扫描信号线Gn附加电容的情况下,会如图6那样,与输出到扫描信号线Gm的扫描脉冲Pm相比,输出到扫描信号线Gn的扫描脉冲pn急剧返回(下降),因此ΔVn>ΔVm,侧部区域SA1、SA2的Vcom的最佳值与主区域MA相比向负方向偏移,有可能出现亮度不均、残影(可靠性降低)。此外,虽然也能够在写入像素电极PE的数据信号侧调整Vcom的最佳值的偏移,但在这种情况下,会有需要对源极驱动器SD进行定制的缺点。实施方式1具有能够通过有源矩阵基板3的非显示区HZ的设计来应对亮度不均的优点。
图7是示出实施方式1的液晶面板的变形例的示意图。在图1中,在液晶面板LP设置有缺口NZ,但不限于此。也可以是如图7的(a)那样设置挖通部KZ的构成。在这种情况下,在挖通部KZ与显示部DA之间设置非显示区HZ,在非显示区HZ,对经过侧部区域SA1、SA2的扫描信号线Gn附加电容。在图1中,经过缺口NZ的两侧(侧部区域SA1、SA2)的扫描信号线Gn连接到2个栅极驱动器GD1、GD2,但不限于此。也可以是如下构成:如图7的(b)那样,设置俯视时夹着缺口NZ相互面对的扫描信号线Gn和扫描信号线GN,经过侧部区域SA1的扫描信号线Gn连接到栅极驱动器GD1,经过侧部区域SA2的扫描信号线GN连接到栅极驱动器GD2。在这种情况下,在非显示区HZ,分别对(负荷比扫描信号线Gm低的)扫描信号线Gn、GN附加电容。
〔实施方式2〕
图8的(a)是示出实施方式2中的缺口周边的构成的俯视图,图8的(b)是(a)的b-b向视截面图。在实施方式1(图2)中,将与扫描信号线Gn形成电容的导电体Ms形成在与半导体膜SC同一层,但不限于此。也能够如图8那样将与扫描信号线Gn形成电容的导电体Mp(在同一工序中)形成在与数据信号线DL和支配线Wb同一层。具体地说,在非显示区HZ设置导电体Mp,扫描信号线Gn的宽幅部Gh与导电体Mp隔着无机绝缘膜16重叠。导电体Mp经由同一层的支配线Wb连接到干配线Wp。这样一来,能够将由于宽幅部Gh与导电体Mp的重叠而形成的电容附加到低负荷的扫描信号线Gn。
〔实施方式3〕
图9的(a)是示出实施方式3中的缺口周边的构成的俯视图,图9的(b)是(a)的b-b向视截面图。在实施方式3中,设为如下构成:设置与半导体膜SC同一层的导电体Ms以及与数据信号线DL同一层的导电体Mp,扫描信号线Gn的宽幅部Gh与导电体Ms隔着无机绝缘膜14重叠,并且宽幅部Gh与导电体Mp隔着无机绝缘膜16重叠。这样一来,能够将由于宽幅部Gh与导电体Ms的重叠而形成的电容和由于宽幅部Gh与导电体Mp的重叠而形成的电容追加到低负荷的扫描信号线Gn。在实施方式3中,与实施方式1、2相比,能够使电容形成区域的尺寸变小或者追加较大的电容。
〔实施方式4〕
图10的(a)是示出实施方式3中的缺口周边的构成的俯视图,图10的(b)是(a)的b-b向视截面图。在实施方式4中,使数据信号线DLz延伸至非显示区HZ,在数据信号线DLz与扫描信号线Gn之间形成电容。在非显示区HZ,扫描信号线Gn隔着无机绝缘膜16与多个数据信号线DLz重叠,因此,能够对低负荷的扫描信号线Gn附加电容。
经过非显示区HZ的数据信号线DLz的负荷比不经过非显示区HZ的数据信号线DLx的负荷低(与数据信号线DLx相比,连接的子像素少),因此,通过对数据信号线DLz侧也附加电容,能够抑制在缺口NZ的上侧或下侧(将数据信号线的延伸方向设为上下方向)的区域与其左右的区域(将扫描信号线的延伸方向设为左右方向)之间可能产生的竖条纹状的亮度不均。这是由于,在数据信号线DLx、DLz的负荷不同的情况下,相同灰度级且相同极性的源极波形(数据信号线的电位波形)在数据信号线DLx、DLz间不同,在扫描脉冲返回(下降)的定时,连接到数据信号线DLx的子像素的像素电极与连接到数据信号线DLz的子像素的像素电极的电位不同。
〔总结〕
本实施方式的显示设备不限于液晶显示器,也适用于OLED(有机发光二极管)显示器、QLED(Quantumdot Light Emitting Diode;量子点发光二极管)显示器等。
本发明不限于上述各实施方式,能在权利要求所示的范围内进行各种变更,通过对分别在不同实施方式中公开的技术手段适当地进行组合而得到的实施方式也包含在本发明的技术范围内。而且,通过对分别在各个实施方式中公开的技术手段进行组合,能够形成新的技术特征。
〔方式1〕
一种显示面板,形成有缺口或挖通部,
上述显示面板包含:显示部,其包含子像素;以及非显示区,其位于上述缺口或上述挖通部与上述显示部之间,
设置有经过上述显示部和上述非显示区的扫描信号线、以及至少一部分位于上述非显示区的导电体,
上述扫描信号线与上述导电体隔着绝缘膜重叠。
〔方式2〕
例如根据方式1所述的显示面板,
上述扫描信号线包含宽度局部变大的宽幅部,上述宽幅部与上述导电体隔着上述绝缘膜重叠。
〔方式3〕
例如根据方式1或2所述的显示面板,
上述扫描信号线连接到包含半导体膜的晶体管,上述半导体膜与上述导电体形成在同一层。
〔方式4〕
例如根据方式1至3中的任意一项所述的显示面板,
上述导电体被供应恒定电压。
〔方式5〕
例如根据方式1至3中的任意一项所述的显示面板,
包含对上述子像素供应数据信号的数据信号线,
上述导电体是数据信号线的一部分。
〔方式6〕
例如根据方式1至5中的任意一项所述的显示面板,
在从上述扫描信号线来看与上述导电体相反的一侧的位置,设置有隔着其它绝缘膜与上述扫描信号线重叠的其它导电体。

Claims (6)

1.一种显示面板,形成有缺口或挖通部,
上述显示面板的特征在于,
包含:显示部,其包含子像素;以及非显示区,其位于上述缺口或上述挖通部与上述显示部之间,
设置有经过上述显示部和上述非显示区的扫描信号线、以及至少一部分位于上述非显示区的导电体,
上述扫描信号线与上述导电体隔着绝缘膜重叠。
2.根据权利要求1所述的显示面板,
上述扫描信号线包含宽度局部变大的宽幅部,上述宽幅部与上述导电体隔着上述绝缘膜重叠。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的显示面板,
上述扫描信号线连接到包含半导体膜的晶体管,上述半导体膜与上述导电体形成在同一层。
4.根据权利要求1至3中的任意一项所述的显示面板,
上述导电体被供应恒定电压。
5.根据权利要求1至3中的任意一项所述的显示面板,
包含对上述子像素供应数据信号的数据信号线,
上述导电体是数据信号线的一部分。
6.根据权利要求1至5中的任意一项所述的显示面板,
在从上述扫描信号线来看与上述导电体相反的一侧的位置,设置有隔着其它绝缘膜与上述扫描信号线重叠的其它导电体。
