Fig. 1 is a schematic flow chart diagram of an embodiment of an automatic meter reading method according to the present disclosure.
At step 110, meter reading information is obtained, wherein a command may be sent to a conventional digital meter using the 1997 or 2007 convention, requesting that the meter reading be transmitted, parsed and stored.
In step 120, each digit in the meter reading is converted into a binary code, such as a BCD code, as a signal bit to be transmitted. For example, the meter reading is 001286, each digit is converted into BCD code, and the low bit to high bit transmission can be also used as the high bit to low bit transmission, for example, the low bit to high bit transmission is used as the case, 6-8-2-1-0-0 is converted into 0110-. In addition, to prevent the transmitted numbers from being all 0, each digit of the reading of the electric meter can be converted into BCD code +1, for example, 6-8-2-1-0-0 is converted into 0111-.
In step 130, each signal bit is converted to a switching signal. For example, 1 indicates a short circuit and 0 indicates an open circuit.
In step 140, each switch signal is transmitted to the terminal database so that the terminal database converts each switch signal into a binary code and reassembles the binary code into a meter reading. The terminal database is, for example, an alarm database of an LTE network manager.
In the embodiment, each digit in the reading of the electric meter is converted into a binary code as a signal bit to be transmitted, each signal bit is converted into a switching signal, each switching signal is transmitted to the terminal database, so that each switching signal is converted into the binary code by the terminal database and is recombined into the reading of the electric meter, the automation of meter reading can be realized, and the working efficiency is improved.
Fig. 2 is a schematic flow chart of another embodiment of the automatic meter reading method of the present disclosure.
At step 210, a transmit meter reading command is periodically sent to the meter.
At step 220, a meter reading is received and stored.
At step 230, the digits of the meter reading are converted to BCD code +1 as the signal bits to be transmitted.
In step 240, each signal bit is converted to a switching signal. 1 represents a short circuit and 0 represents an open circuit.
At step 250, the switching signals are transmitted to an alarm database at predetermined time intervals. That is, the short circuit information and the open circuit information are transmitted to an alarm database of the LTE network management through an interface between the RRU and the user electric meter, for example, the predetermined time interval is 30 seconds, four codes can be simultaneously transmitted, so that 1 digit is transmitted in 0.5 minute, and the total reading of 6 digit electric meters needs 3 minutes.
At step 260, the alarm database reassembles the alarm information into meter readings. For example, each switching signal is converted to BCD code-1 and recombined into a meter reading.
In the embodiment, the automatic meter reading can be realized by utilizing the dry contact point, the reading of the automatic meter reading can be processed in a centralized manner, and the intensive management of the meter reading is realized. In addition, because original transmission equipment and lines are utilized, the alarm information is skillfully utilized to transmit the reading of the electric meter, and the investment is saved. Moreover, because the time length of transmitting bytes is properly prolonged, the error code is prevented from being analyzed, so that a synchronous signal is not needed, and the circuit design is simplified.
