Detailed Description
In the following description, for purposes of explanation and not limitation, specific details are set forth, such as particular system structures, techniques, etc. in order to provide a thorough understanding of the embodiments of the invention. It will be apparent, however, to one skilled in the art that the present invention may be practiced in other embodiments that depart from these specific details. In other instances, detailed descriptions of well-known systems, devices, circuits, and methods are omitted so as not to obscure the description of the present invention with unnecessary detail.
It should be understood that the sequence numbers of the steps in the method embodiments described below do not mean the execution sequence, and the execution sequence of each process should be determined by the function and the inherent logic of the process, and should not constitute any limitation on the implementation process of each embodiment.
In order to explain the technical means of the present invention, the following description will be given by way of specific examples.
Example one
The battery current limiting method provided by the embodiment of the invention can be applied to terminal equipment containing a battery or an intelligent battery, and as shown in fig. 1, the battery current limiting method comprises the following steps:
step S101, when the battery is in a discharging state, judging the relation between the current residual capacity of the battery and a preset first threshold value and a preset second threshold value.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the battery may be a single battery, a battery pack, or a battery pack. When the battery is detected to be in a discharging state, acquiring the relation between the current residual capacity of the battery and a preset and stored first threshold value and second threshold value. The relationship between the current remaining capacity of the battery and the first threshold and the second threshold may be a magnitude relationship between the current remaining capacity of the battery and the first threshold and the second threshold, respectively.
Step S102, if the current residual capacity is smaller than the first threshold and larger than the second threshold, performing a first current limiting operation on the battery; wherein the first threshold is greater than the second threshold.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the preset and stored first threshold is greater than the second threshold, and when the current remaining capacity of the battery is less than the first threshold and greater than the second threshold, that is, when the current remaining capacity of the battery is between the first threshold and the second threshold, performing the first current limiting operation on the battery may be to limit a current discharged from the battery, so that the discharging is slow.
In one embodiment, the first current limiting operation on the battery may be to control a discharging current of the battery at a certain proportionality coefficient such that the discharging current per unit time of the battery is reduced.
Step S103, if the current remaining power is smaller than the second threshold, performing a second current limiting operation on the battery.
In the embodiment of the invention, when the current residual capacity of the battery is less than the second threshold value and indicates that the residual current of the battery is not much, the second current limiting operation is directly performed on the battery, and the second current limiting operation is performed after the first current limiting operation.
In one embodiment, if the current remaining power is less than the second threshold, performing a second current limiting operation on the battery, including: and if the current residual capacity is smaller than the second threshold value, setting the discharge current of the battery to be zero. The second current limiting operation may be to directly set the discharge current of the battery to zero.
Therefore, in the embodiment of the invention, because the current residual capacity of the battery is smaller than the first threshold and larger than the second threshold, the first current limiting operation is performed on the battery, and when the current residual capacity of the battery is smaller than the second threshold, the second current limiting operation is performed on the battery, the current limiting operation can be performed on the battery according to the residual capacity of the battery in real time, so that the battery cannot be discharged with constant large current, and the safety and reliability of the use of the battery are improved.
Example two
This embodiment is a further description of the first embodiment, and the same or similar places of this embodiment as the first embodiment may specifically refer to the related description of the first embodiment, which is not repeated herein, and as shown in fig. 2, the step S102 further includes:
in step S201, if the current remaining power is smaller than the first threshold and larger than the second threshold, a pre-stored maximum discharging current value is obtained.
In the embodiment of the invention, when the current residual capacity of the battery is smaller than the first threshold and larger than the second threshold, namely the current residual capacity of the battery is between the first threshold and the second threshold, the pre-stored maximum discharge current value is acquired.
And step S202, calculating the current value of battery discharge according to the maximum discharge current value and the control proportionality coefficient of the battery discharge current.
In the embodiment of the invention, the current value of battery discharge can be calculated according to the maximum discharge current value and the control proportionality coefficient of the battery discharge current, so that the battery can be controlled to discharge according to the calculated current value of the battery discharge. The control proportionality coefficient of the battery discharge current may be a pre-stored fixed control proportionality coefficient, or may also be a control proportionality coefficient for calculating the battery discharge current according to the current remaining capacity of the battery.
In one embodiment, the calculation formula for calculating the current value of battery discharge according to the maximum discharge current value and the control proportionality coefficient of battery discharge current is as follows:
Figure BDA0001951881830000061
wherein, the
Figure BDA0001951881830000062
The current value for discharging the battery, IallowAnd λ is a pre-stored maximum discharge current value, and the λ is a control proportionality coefficient of the battery discharge current.
In one embodiment, calculating the current value of battery discharge according to the maximum discharge current value and the control proportionality coefficient of battery discharge current comprises: calculating a control proportionality coefficient of the battery discharging current according to the current residual electric quantity, a first threshold value and a second threshold value; and calculating the current value of the battery discharge according to the maximum discharge current value and the control proportionality coefficient of the battery discharge current.
In one embodiment, the calculation formula for calculating the control proportionality coefficient of the battery discharge current according to the current remaining capacity, the first threshold and the second threshold is as follows:
Figure BDA0001951881830000071
wherein, the lambda is the control proportionality coefficient of the battery discharge current, and the SOC is the current residual capacity and SOC of the battery1Is a first threshold value, SOC2Is the second threshold. If the current residual capacity of the battery is equal to the first threshold value, the control proportion coefficient of the battery discharging current is 1; and if the current residual capacity of the battery is equal to the second threshold value, the control proportionality coefficient of the battery discharging current is 0.
As can be seen, in the embodiment of the present invention, since the first current limiting operation is performed on the battery when the current remaining power of the battery is less than the first threshold and greater than the second threshold, and the second current limiting operation is performed on the battery when the current remaining power of the battery is less than the second threshold, the current limiting operation can be performed on the battery according to the remaining power of the battery in real time, so that the battery is not discharged with a constant large current. And the sudden change of the current can be effectively avoided through the two set thresholds, the discharging current is gradually limited when the current residual capacity of the battery reaches the first threshold, and the current limiting value reaches 100 percent when the current residual capacity of the battery reaches the second threshold, namely the discharging allowable current is 0, so that the use safety and reliability of the battery can be improved.
EXAMPLE III
The present embodiment is further described in the first embodiment and the second embodiment, and the same or similar places to the first embodiment or the second embodiment may specifically refer to the related description of the first embodiment or the second embodiment, which is not repeated herein, and as shown in fig. 3, the battery current limiting method further includes:
step S301, when the battery is in a charging state, judging the relation between the current residual capacity of the battery and a preset third threshold and a preset fourth threshold.
In the embodiment of the invention, when the battery is detected to be in the charging state, the relation between the current residual capacity of the battery and the preset and stored third threshold and fourth threshold is obtained. The relationship between the current remaining capacity of the battery and the third threshold and the fourth threshold may be a magnitude relationship between the current remaining capacity of the battery and the third threshold and the fourth threshold, respectively.
Step S302, if the current remaining capacity is greater than the third threshold and smaller than the fourth threshold, performing a third current limiting operation on the battery according to a control proportionality coefficient of the charging current and a pre-stored maximum charging current value; wherein the third threshold is less than the fourth threshold.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the preset and stored third threshold is smaller than the fourth threshold, and when the current remaining power of the battery is greater than the third threshold and smaller than the fourth threshold, that is, when the current remaining power of the battery is between the third threshold and the fourth threshold, the battery is charged to perform the third current limiting operation. Specifically, the third current limiting operation on the battery charging may be to limit the current of the battery charging so that the current charging is slow.
In one embodiment, the third current limiting operation may be performed on the battery by controlling the charging current of the battery with a certain charging proportionality coefficient, so that the charging current per unit time of the battery is reduced. The control proportionality coefficient of the battery charging current may be a fixed control proportionality coefficient stored in advance, or the control proportionality coefficient of the battery charging current may be calculated by calculating the control proportionality coefficient of the battery charging current from the current remaining capacity, the first threshold value and the second threshold value.
Step S303, if the current remaining power is greater than the fourth threshold, setting the charging current of the battery to zero.
In the embodiment of the present invention, when the current remaining capacity of the battery is greater than the fourth threshold, it indicates that the remaining capacity of the battery is sufficient, and this directly performs the fourth current limiting operation on the battery, where the fourth current limiting operation may be to set the charging current of the battery to zero.
Therefore, in the embodiment of the application, since the third current limiting operation is performed on the battery when the current remaining capacity of the battery is greater than the third threshold and less than the fourth threshold, and the fourth current limiting operation is performed on the battery when the current remaining capacity of the battery is greater than the fourth threshold, the current limiting operation can be performed on the battery in real time according to the remaining capacity of the battery, so that a constant large current cannot be charged, and the safety and reliability of the use of the battery are improved.
