Description

Temporary protection strippable coating with flame retardant property and preparation method thereof
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the field of coatings, and particularly relates to a temporary protective strippable coating with flame retardant property and a preparation method thereof.
Background
The temporary protective strippable coating is widely applied to the weight-reducing processing process of equipment in the aerospace field, and chemical milling protective coating is also adopted as a protective material in the technical processes of processing of high-hardness alloy, anodizing surface treatment, electroplating and the like in the mechanical industry; can also be applied to the temporary protection of the middle-temperature cementing (temperature 160 ℃) of composite materials, the engraving processing protection of industrial art, the chemical corrosion prevention masking protection of the coated object surface, or the temporary protection field of the scratch prevention on the instrument surface and mechanical equipment; the method can also be used for temporary protection of nuclear power construction finished products such as nuclear reactor pressure vessels, evaporators, water replenishing tanks and the like and parts used for large ship construction. During these temporary protections welding or cutting processes are often encountered, open flame ablation and the paint film after stripping can be exposed to open flame and sparks during welding and cutting during storage handling. Therefore, the temporary protective strippable coating is required to have certain flame retardant property and weather resistance, maintain the mechanical property after long-term use, complete the temporary protection function and be easy to manually strip.
However, the common strippable coating is prepared by mixing chloroprene rubber, styrene butadiene rubber resin, pigment, filler and auxiliary agent, and the coating is very easy to burn when exposed to open fire. Particularly, when exposed fire is encountered during welding or cutting, fire is easily caused, causing a great economic loss, and when the paint film is left attached to a substrate, the paint film cannot be peeled off after burning by the exposed fire, which limits the application range of temporary protection.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to provide a temporary protective coating with flame retardant property and a preparation method thereof, the temporary protective coating meets the requirements of peeling strength and tensile strength of common temporary protective strippable coatings, and simultaneously has good flame retardant property, so that the coating can be well used in atmospheric environment, welding, cutting and open flame environment, and plays a role in temporary protection.
In order to achieve the purpose, the technical scheme of the invention is as follows:
the invention provides a temporary protection strippable coating with flame retardant property, which comprises the following components in percentage by mass:
Figure BDA0001898220480000021

Preferably, the mixed solvent is at least two of toluene, xylene and ethyl acetate.
More preferably, the mixed solvent is a mixed solvent obtained by mixing two or three of toluene, xylene and ethyl acetate in equal mass.
The preparation method of the temporary protection strippable coating with the flame retardant property comprises the following steps: preparing materials according to the formula, respectively adding SBS resin and SEBS resin into a mixed solvent, stirring at a high speed (the preferred stirring speed is 1500-2000 rpm) to completely dissolve the SBS resin and the SEBS resin, adding a polymerization inhibitor, talcum powder, silicon dioxide and an auxiliary agent, stirring at a high speed (the preferred stirring speed is 1000-2000 rpm) to mix, grinding in a sand mill until the fineness is less than or equal to 30 mu m, and filtering and discharging (preferably using a 80-mesh filter screen) to obtain the temporary protective strippable coating with the flame retardant property.
One of the key technologies in the invention is as follows: the selection of the type of the flame retardant, the compounding ratio of various flame retardants and the addition amount of the flame retardant, for example, the addition amount of the flame retardant must be controlled within the range of 8-10% to achieve the flame retardant effect, the addition amount of the flame retardant in the coating is too small to achieve the ideal flame retardant effect, and the addition amount is too large to achieve the requirements of artificial aging, tensile strength and the like of the coating.
The peel strength of the temporary protection strippable coating prepared by the invention is more than or equal to 70N/m, the elongation of a coating film is more than or equal to 470%, and the tensile strength of the coating film is more than or equal to 5.5 MPa; meanwhile, when the flame retardant property of the coating film is detected on a substrate according to ASTM E84, the flame retardance of the coating film reaches ClassA grade, namely the FSI value (flame propagation index value) is 0-25, the smoke index is less than 450, and the coating film is non-combustible under the condition of open fire for 5 minutes; the paint film has no phenomena of crack, bulge, blister and shedding under the simulated condition of artificial accelerated aging for 500h, can be manually stripped from a substrate, and has excellent strippability and weather resistance. Therefore, the coating provided by the invention meets the requirements of common temporary protective strippable coatings on peel strength, elongation and tensile strength, and has good flame retardant property, so that the coating can be well used in atmospheric environment, welding, cutting and open fire environment, and plays a role in temporary protection.
The invention has the beneficial effects that:
according to the invention, the thermoplastic elastomer SBS resin and the SEBS resin are mixed for use, so that the peeling strength, the tensile strength and the weather resistance of a paint film are improved; the reinforcing effect of the paint film is further increased by selecting silicon dioxide and talcum powder as fillers; the flame retardant is obtained by selecting a proper flame retardant and compounding the flame retardant according to a certain proportion, so that a paint film has good flame retardant property while maintaining good mechanical property, and the paint film can not burn no matter in cutting or welding and open fire conditions.
The paint film obtained by the temporary protective strippable paint can be manually stripped from the substrate after being burned by open fire when being attached to the substrate, and has good strippability.
