Description

Speaker unit and electronic device
Technical Field
The invention relates to a speaker unit and an electronic apparatus.
Background
Portable electronic devices such as portable terminals and electronic dictionaries having speakers are known. In recent years, in order to improve audio performance, improvement in a structure for mounting a speaker in an electronic device is desired. If the speaker is disposed on the front surface of the housing, deterioration in sound quality/volume is reduced, which is desirable in terms of audio. However, in a portable electronic device which is required to be thin and small and in which a key operation unit and a display unit need to be preferentially arranged, it is difficult to arrange a speaker outside. Therefore, for example, as disclosed in patent 5515672, a speaker is generally disposed in a casing, and a sound is output to the outside through a sound hole provided in a side wall portion or the like via an audio space.
In the above-described electronic device, the structure for avoiding the interference of the sound output from the front side and the sound output from the rear side of the speaker (opposite phase) in the housing is not specifically described.
Disclosure of Invention
A speaker unit is provided with:
a speaker module configured by integrating a speaker main body and a speaker support member; and
and a sealing member disposed on the other end side of the speaker module and on the sound output surface side of the speaker body from one end side of the speaker module so as to be entirely in contact with the outer peripheral edge of the speaker support member.
An electronic device is provided with:
a speaker unit including a speaker module in which a speaker main body and a speaker support member are integrated, and a sealing member which is disposed on the other end side of the speaker module and on the side opposite to the sound output surface from one end side of the speaker module and the sound output surface of the speaker main body so that the entire sealing member is in contact with the outer peripheral edge of the speaker support member; and
a housing that houses the speaker unit,
a space of the housing that houses the speaker unit is airtightly partitioned by the sealing member into a first space on a sound-emitting surface side of the speaker body and a second space on a side opposite to the sound-emitting surface side of the speaker body in a state where the speaker unit has been assembled to the housing,
the housing is provided with a through hole in a wall portion facing the first space.

Detailed Description
Fig. 1 to 10 are explanatory diagrams of an electronic dictionary (electronic device) 10 according to an embodiment of the present invention. Fig. 1 is a plan view showing an open state of an electronic dictionary (electronic device) 10, fig. 2 is a front view showing a closed state of the electronic dictionary 10, and fig. 3 is a vertical sectional view showing a main part of the electronic dictionary 10. Fig. 4 is a perspective view showing the speaker unit 40 assembled to the electronic dictionary 10, fig. 5 is a perspective view showing the speaker-resin-housing integrated module (lower surface side) 45, fig. 6 is a perspective view showing the speaker-resin-housing integrated module (upper surface side) 45, fig. 7 is an exploded perspective view showing the speaker unit (lower surface side) 40, and fig. 8 is a perspective view showing the rubber housing (sealing member) 43 assembled to the speaker unit 40.
As shown in fig. 1, the electronic dictionary 10 includes two foldable first and second housings 20 and 90. The electronic dictionary 10 is generally used by placing a first housing 20 having a keyboard 27 described later on a desk and opening a second housing 90 having an LCD display section 92 by 90 degrees or more.
The first housing 20 includes a thin rectangular housing main body 21. A bracket 21a is formed on an upper side (upper side) of the housing main body 21, and is rotatably connected to a rotation shaft 91a described later. The second housing 90 includes a thin rectangular housing main body 91. A rotation shaft 91a is formed on the lower side (lower side) of the housing main body 91 in fig. 1, and the first housing 20 and the second housing 90 are openably and closably connected by being inserted into the bracket 21 a.
As shown in fig. 3, the case main body 21 includes a dish-shaped lower case 22 and a flat plate-shaped upper case 26. The lower case 22 includes a rectangular bottom plate 22a and a side wall 22b formed along an outer edge of the bottom plate 22a, and is open upward. The lower case 22 has a housing space P for housing a circuit board 25 described later formed therein, and a part of the left front side forms an audio space Q for expanding sound outputted from a speaker main body (sound output element) 41 described later. A sound hole (through hole) 22c directed to the outside is formed in a side wall (wall portion) 22b of the lower case 22 at a position facing the audio space Q.
The audio space Q is, for example, a space having a height of about 2 to 3mm and a depth of about 4 to 6mm, and has a function of preventing a reduction in sound pressure or a deterioration in sound quality by resonating sound output from the speaker body 41. The size of the audio space Q can be appropriately changed according to the size or design of the electronic dictionary 10.
The lower case 22 has a boss 23, hook (engaging portion) 24, and the like formed therein (see fig. 9), and a circuit board 25 and an upper case 26 described later can be mounted thereon. The hook 24 has a pressing portion 24a (see fig. 10) as a rib, which is dimensioned at a position where the base 42a of the resin case (speaker support member) 42 is biased toward the sound hole 22c when the bracket (engaged portion) 42c is pressed toward the bottom plate 22a of the lower case 22. In other words, the lower case 22 includes the pressing portion 24a formed at a position where the speaker unit 40 is biased toward the lower case 22 side in a state where the resin case 42 is attached to the lower case 22.
The opening of the lower case 22 is blocked by the upper case 26. A keyboard 27 is mounted on the upper case 26.
The circuit board 25 is mounted on the lower case 22, and electronic components 28 for functioning as an electronic dictionary are mounted thereon. A speaker unit 40 is provided below the circuit board 25, i.e., on the left front side of the lower case 22.
As shown in fig. 4, the speaker unit 40 includes a speaker resin housing integrated module (speaker module) 45 shown in fig. 5 to 7, and a rubber housing 43 covering the periphery of the speaker resin housing integrated module 45. The speaker unit 40 airtightly partitions the audio space Q and the housing space P, as described later.
The speaker-resin-housing integrated module 45 includes a speaker body 41 whose output surface faces downward and a resin housing 42 covering the periphery of the speaker body 41, and these parts are integrated in advance. The speaker body 41 includes: a diaphragm 41a disposed so that a substantially circular output surface faces the bottom plate 22a side of the lower case 22 in a plan view; a metal plate 41b which is arranged to cover an outer peripheral edge of the vibrating plate 41a and is substantially annular in a plan view; and a magnet 41c provided on the bottom side of the vibration plate 41a, these parts being integrated in advance. As shown in fig. 6, a circuit portion 41d for driving the diaphragm 41a is provided on the back side of the diaphragm 41a, and a lead wire 41e for inputting a signal from the outside is connected to the circuit portion 41 d. The resin case 42 is fixed to the lower case 22, and thus has a function of fixing the position of the speaker body 41 integrated with the resin case 42 to the lower case 22.
The speaker body 41 is integrated in advance with the constituent members as described above, but when the diaphragm 41a is touched during processing, there is a possibility that the diaphragm 41a may be broken. To avoid this, the metal plate 41b is formed so that the height along the normal direction of the sound output surface of the diaphragm 41a is more protruded than the height of the diaphragm 41a, and has a function of protecting the outer peripheral edge of the diaphragm 41 a. Thus, the assembly worker can also grip the outer surface of the metal plate 41b to handle it. On the other hand, since the metal plate 41b is substantially annular in plan view, an opening is formed near the center portion thereof, that is, at a position facing the center portion of the vibrating plate 41 a. Therefore, in the sound guide path in which the sound emitted from the sound emitting surface of the diaphragm 41a advances to the outside of the speaker-resin-housing integrated module 45, the sound is less likely to be blocked, and the movable range of the diaphragm 41a can be increased, so that the sound pressure can be increased as compared with the case where no opening is formed.
The resin case 42 includes: a plate-shaped base 42a having a semicircular recess for closely holding the speaker body 41; a frame 42b which is stacked on the edge of the base 42a, has a semi-annular portion provided along the outer periphery of the speaker body 41, and has an opening on the front side (the sound hole 22c side); and a bracket 42c formed to protrude laterally from an outer edge of the frame 42 b. The front end of the base 42a is formed to be slightly tapered than the front end of the frame 42b, and a tongue portion 42d protruding forward is formed.
As shown in fig. 7 and 8, the rubber housing 43 includes an elastic frame 43a having a semi-annular portion and an opening on the front side, and a linear engaging frame (hook portion) 43b attached to the opening side of the elastic frame 43 a. In this way, the entire rubber case 43 is in contact with the outer peripheral edge of the resin case 42, and the rubber case 43 is arranged from one end side of the speaker-resin-case integrated module 45 and the sound output surface side of the speaker body 41 (the side on which the lower case 22 is arranged with respect to the diaphragm 41a in fig. 3) to the other end side of the speaker-resin-case integrated module 45 and the side opposite to the sound output surface (the side on which the circuit board 25 is arranged with respect to the diaphragm 41a in fig. 3). As will be described later, the rubber case 43 is attached to the electronic dictionary 10 in a state of being attached to the resin case 42 of the speaker-resin-case integrating module 45. In a state where the rubber case 43 and the resin case 42 of the speaker-resin-case integrated module 45 are attached to each other, the elastic frame 43a is disposed in front of the speaker body 41, and the engaging frame 43b is disposed behind the speaker body 41. In this state, the elastic frame 43a and the speaker body 41 are formed such that the elastic frame 43a does not overlap the front surface of the speaker body 41.
The elastic frame 43a is stacked on the bottom plate 22a side of the lower case 22 of the frame 42b, and the engaging frame 43b is fixed by being hooked on the tongue portion 42 d.
Next, a process of mounting the speaker unit 40 to the lower case 22 will be described. As shown in fig. 7, a rubber case 43 is attached to the resin case 42 integrated with the speaker body 41. At this time, the engaging frame 43b of the rubber housing 43 is stretched by its elastic force, and fixed while being hooked on the tongue portion 42 d. Thus, the surface of the rubber case 43 on the resin case 42 side is in close contact with the surface of the rubber case 43 on the resin case 42 side, and the resin case 42 and the rubber case 43 are integrated to form the speaker unit 40.
As shown in fig. 10, the speaker unit 40 is positioned between the pair of hook members 24 and is pressed toward the lower case 22. At this time, the bracket 42c is engaged with the hook 24, and the speaker unit 40 can be attached to the lower case 22 without using a bolt or the like. At this time, the bracket 42c is pressed toward the sound hole 22c by the pressing portion 24a, and the rubber case 43 is urged toward the sound hole 22c by the resin case 42. Thereby, the rubber case 43 is in close contact with the lower case 22, and the audio space Q and the housing space P are hermetically separated. In other words, in a state where the speaker unit 40 is fitted to the lower case 22, the space of the lower case 22 that houses the speaker unit 40 is partitioned into an audio space Q (first space) on the sound-emitting surface side of the speaker body 41 and a housing space P (second space) on the side opposite to the sound-emitting surface side of the speaker body 41 by the rubber housing 43. Further, by keeping the state in which the resin case 42 is attached to the lower case 22 and the rubber case 43 biases the lower case 22, the space of the lower case 22 that houses the speaker unit is hermetically partitioned into the audio space Q and the housing space P.
According to the electronic dictionary 10 configured as described above, the speaker unit 40 hermetically partitions the interior of the lower casing 22 into the audio space Q and the storage space P, and the sound output α from the front of the speaker body 41 is expanded into the audio space Q and the sound output β from the rear (opposite phase) is expanded into the storage space P, so that there is almost no interference in the lower casing 22. Further, since the sound output α resonates in the audio space Q, the sound pressure from the sound hole 22c provided in the case body 21 of the electronic dictionary 10 is increased as the audio space is wider. Therefore, the sound output from the speaker body 41 can be more faithfully transmitted to the user with high sound quality and high sound volume without lowering the sound output efficiency.
When the speaker unit 40 is assembled, if the speaker body 41 and the resin case 42 are not integrated in advance, three components of the speaker body 41, the resin case 42, and the rubber case 43 need to be picked up with both hands and attached to each other. In contrast, in the above-described embodiment, since the speaker body 41 and the resin case 42 are the speaker-resin-case integrated module 45 integrated in advance, when the speaker unit 40 is assembled, it is only necessary to take two parts, the speaker-resin-case integrated module 45 and the rubber case 43, with both hands and attach these parts, and the assembling work of the speaker unit 40 in the electronic dictionary 10 can be greatly facilitated.
In the case where the speaker main body 41 and the resin case 42 are not integrated in advance, in order to prevent the speaker main body 41 from coming off the resin case 42 in a state where the speaker unit 40 is assembled, it is necessary to urge the speaker main body 41 toward the base 42a side of the resin case 42 by the elastic force of the elastic frame 43a of the rubber case 43 while the inner peripheral edge of the elastic frame 43a of the rubber case 43 is brought into contact with the outer peripheral edge of the metal plate 41b of the speaker main body 41. In other words, it is necessary to form the rubber housing 43 such that at least a part of the rubber housing 43 overlaps a part of the front face of the speaker body 41. In the above-described embodiment, since the speaker body 41 and the resin case 42 are formed as the speaker-resin-case integrating module 45 integrated in advance, it is not necessary to dispose a part of the rubber case 43 so as to overlap a part of the front surface of the speaker body 41. Therefore, in the above-described embodiment, the rubber case 43 is not disposed on the front surface of the speaker body 41, and the audio space Q is widened accordingly, so that the sound output efficiency can be improved.
In addition, since the speaker body 41 does not appear on the surface of the lower case 22, the degree of freedom of the mounting position of the speaker unit 40 is increased, and the design of the electronic dictionary 10 can be diversified.
Fig. 11 is a perspective view showing a speaker unit 40A according to a modification of the present embodiment. In the speaker unit 40A, a protector 44 is provided on the output surface side of the speaker body 41 with the output surface facing downward, and the periphery is covered with a resin case 42 including the protector 44. Other points are the same as those of the above-described embodiment, and therefore, the description thereof is omitted.
With the above-described configuration, the same effects as those obtained when the speaker unit 40 is used can be obtained, and the speaker unit 40A is provided in the lower case 22, and the operator's hand is prevented from touching the center portion of the diaphragm 41a of the speaker body 41, which further facilitates the operation as compared with the above-described embodiment.
The present invention is not limited to the above embodiments. For example, although the above example illustrates a foldable electronic dictionary as an electronic device, the present invention is also applicable to a mobile terminal such as a mobile phone, a radio, a notebook-sized personal computer, and the like. It is needless to say that various modifications can be made within a range not departing from the gist of the present invention.
