本发明提供一种像素结构、显示面板及显示面板控制方法,若干像素单元以矩阵形式排布,所述每一像素单元包括第一子像素(101)、第二子像素(102)及第三子像素(103);在所述像素单元中,所述第三子像素(103)排布在一排,所述第一子像素(101)和所述第二子像素(102)排布在另一排,所述第二子像素(102)的发光面积大于所述第三子像素(103)的发光面积,所述第三子像素(103)的发光面积大于所述第一子像素(101)的发光面积。以此实现提高像素开口率,提高显示效果及产品寿命的效果。

技术领域
本发明涉及显示技术领域,特别是涉及一种像素结构、显示面板及显示面板的控制方法。
背景技术
有源(主动)矩阵有机发光二极体(Active-matrix Organic Light EmittingDiode,AMOLED)是近年来新兴的一种全新显示屏幕,由驱动阵列和有机发光材料两部分组成。随着对显示效果的需求提升,提高像素数目已经成为行业的必然趋势。为了将子像素尺寸做的越来越小,在有机发光二极管(Organic Light Emitting Diode,OLED)蒸镀工艺能力、掩膜版制程能力不变的条件下,会导致像素开口率降低,导致OLED寿命降低,因此考虑减少子像素个数,通过相邻子像素之间互相借用的方法,模拟全彩化的显示效果,产生了许多种像素排布,但是,随着子像素数目的增高,仍然难以达到寿命需求。
发明内容
本发明主要解决的技术问题是提供一种像素结构、显示面板及显示面板控制方法,以实现提高像素开口率,提高显示效果及产品寿命的目的。
为解决上述技术问题,本发明采用的一个技术方案是:
提供一种像素结构,包括:
若干像素单元在第一方向和第二方向上以矩阵形式排布,所述每一像素单元的子像素由第一子像素、第二子像素及第三子像素组成;
在所述像素单元中,所述第三子像素在第一方向上排布在一排,所述第一子像素和所述第二子像素在第一方向上排布在另一排,所述第二子像素的发光面积大于所述第三子像素的发光面积,所述第三子像素的发光面积大于所述第一子像素的发光面积,所述第一方向与第二方向相交。
为解决上述技术问题,本发明采用的另一个技术方案是:
提供一种显示面板,所述显示面板包括上述任一项所述的像素结构素。
为解决上述技术问题,本发明采用的又一个技术方案是:
提供一种显示面板的控制方法,所述方法包括:
输送扫描信号给每一排像素单元中的每一子像素,以控制每一排像素单元中连接每一子像素的薄膜晶体管导通;
在第一时间段内,输送数据信号给第j、j+1...j+i排像素单元中的每一子像素发光;
在第二时间段内,输送数据信号给第k、k+1...k+i排像素单元中的每一子像素发光,j、k、i均为正整数;
所述第j排像素单元和第j+1排像素单元沿第一方向;
所述第k排像素单元由所述第j排和第j+1排像素单元的在所述第二方向中的相邻子像素组合而成。
在一个实施例中,所述第一子像素和所述第二子像素沿第一方向的总尺寸大于所述第三子像素沿第一方向的尺寸。

本发明的有益效果是:区别于现有技术的情况,本发明通过将所述第三子像素排布在一排,所述第一子像素和所述第二子像素排布在另一排,且所述第二子像素的发光面积大于所述第三子像素的发光面积,所述第三子像素的发光面积大于所述第一子像素的发光面积。以实现提高像素开口率,提高显示效果及产品寿命的效果。

具体的,由于本发明中像素单元的排布方式更为紧凑,且所述像素单元为长方形,所以所述像素单元沿第二方向的总尺寸T1大于沿第一方向的总尺寸T2,如T1:T2=3:2。这样,与传统的正方形像素单元(第二方向与第一方向尺寸之比为1:1)相比,这种像素排布结构,横向增加了屏体的像素间隙,有利于阵列布线及有机发光二极管的蒸镀。
所述第一子像素101为红色子像素,所述第二子像素102为绿色子像素,所述第三子像素103为蓝色子像素。结合图1a,所述第一子像素101包括发光面积109与非发光面积110,所述第二子像素102包括发光面积107与非发光面积108,所述第三子像素103包括发光面积105与非发光面积106。第二子像素102的发光面积107大于所述第三子像素103的发光面积105,第三子像素103的发光面积105大于所述第一子像素101的发光面积109。优选地,第一子像素101、第二子像素102及第三子像素103的发光面积109、107、105的比例为1:1.84:1.68。具体的,通常的像素排布中,第一子像素101(红色子像素)的发光面积较小,其次是第二子像素102(绿色子像素)的发光面积,第三子像素103(蓝色子像素)的发光面积最大,在白光中第二子像素102(绿色子像素)的亮度占比最高,因此将第二子像素102(绿色子像素)的发光面积增大,使第二子像素102(绿色子像素)的发光面积大于第三子像素103(蓝色子像素),使所述第一子像素101、所述第二子像素102及所述第三子像素103的发光面积的比例为1:1.84:1.68,从而提高有机发光二极管的显示效果。
具体的,在每个子像素区域的发光区中包括阴极、阳极和电致发光层(亦称为有机发射层),其中电致发光层位于阴极与阳极之间,用于产生预定颜色光线以实现显示,在制备显示面板时,通常需要利用蒸镀工艺以分别在对应颜色像素区域的发光区中形成对应颜色(红色、绿色或蓝色)的电致发光层。
在本实施例中,所述多个像素单元排布成像素阵列,在第二方向上,第n排的多个像素单元与第n+1排的多个像素单元啮合,并且第n排的第i像素单元的第三子像素与第n+1排的第i像素单元的第一子像素和第二子像素对齐,所述第n排的第i像素单元的第一子像素和第二子像素与第n+1排的第i像素单元的第三子像素对齐,第n排的多个像素单元与第n+2排的多个像素单元的排列方式相同。在这种像素阵列中,第一方向中的每一像素单元排都包含三个颜色不同的子像素,并且在第二方向中的每一个像素单元排中,相同颜色的子像素也没有独立地排列成行,而是被其他颜色的子像素穿插进来,这样可极大地提高显示均匀性。
具体来说,将所述像素单元分为第1、2、3……n、n+1排,将第n排的第i个像素单元记为(n,i)。在所述像素阵列中,第n排的多个像素单元(虚线框)与第n+1排的多个像素单元(实线框)啮合,并且第n排的第i像素单元(n,i)的第三子像素103(蓝色子像素)与第n+1排的第i像素单元(n+1,i)的第一子像素101(红色子像素)和第二子像素102(绿色子像素)对齐,所述第n排的第i像素单元(n,i)的第一子像素101(红色子像素)和第二子像素102(绿色子像素)与第n+1排的第i像素单元(n+1,i)的第三子像素103(蓝色子像素)对齐,第n排的多个像素单元与第n+2排的多个像素单元的排列方式相同,n、i均为正整数。
奇数行(第二方向)如第1行、第3行、第5行……第n行、第n+2行的像素单元中,第一子像素101和第二子像素102排布在右侧,第三子像素103排布在左侧;偶数行(第二方向)如第2行、第4行、第6行……第n+1行的像素单元中,第一子像素101和第二子像素102排布在左侧,第三子像素103排布在右侧。进一步的,同一行中所有的像素单元104的第一子像素101排布在一条直线上,同一行中所有的像素单元104的第二子像素102亦是排布在一条直线上,及同一行中所有像素单元104的第三子像素103排布在一条直线上。
在本实施例中,所述第一像素101、第二像素102及第三子像素103的形状为四边形,在其他实施例中,所述第一子像素101、第二像素102及第三子像素103的形状为三角形、四边形、五边形、六边形、八边形中的一种或任意组合,在此不做限定。
本发明提供的像素结构,可改善显示清晰度,并且通过增大第二子像素102的发光面积以提高产品的寿命。
请参见图2,为本发明像素结构第二实施例的结构示意图。本实施例与第一实施例的区别在于,将图1所示的像素结构顺时针旋转90度,使得行与列进行了互换,若仍将第一方向称为列方向(竖直方向,Y方向),第二方向称为行方向(横向方向,X方向),那么,可以理解的为,第一子像素101(红色子像素)和第二子像素102(绿色子像素)排布在一行,第三子像素103(蓝色子像素)排布在另一行,所述第二子像素102的发光面积大于所述第三子像素103的发光面积,所述第三子像素103的发光面积大于所述第一子像素101的发光面积。
在本实施例中,所述第一子像素101和第二子像素102沿第二方向的总尺寸大于所述第三子像素103沿第二方向的总尺寸;所述第三子像素(103)的投影与所述第一子像素(101)的投影和第二子像素(102)的投影在第一方向至少部分重叠。
具体的,由于本发明中的像素单元的排布方式更为紧凑,可以使得像素单元沿第一方向的总尺寸T1大于所述像素单元沿第二方向的总尺寸T2,比如是T1:T2=3:2,这样,与传统的正方形像素单元(第二方向与第一方向尺寸之比为1:1)相比,这种像素排布结构,横向增加了屏体的像素间隙,有利于阵列布线及有机发光二极管的蒸镀。
请参阅图3,是本发明显示面板的结构示意图。所述显示面板700包括上述任一实施例中的像素结构701。所述像素结构701横向连接扫描驱动芯片,纵向连接数据驱动芯片703,需要说明的是,所述像素结构中的每一子像素均与所述扫描驱动芯片702之间连接一条扫描线,以从所述扫描芯片接收扫描信号,与所述数据驱动芯片703之间连接一条数据线,以从所述数据驱动芯片接收数据信号。所述显示面板700可以为有机发光显示面板,可以应用于手机、平板电脑、电视机、显示器、笔记本电脑、数据相框、导航仪等任何具有显示功能的产品或部件内。所述显示面板的其他器件及功能与现有显示面板相同,在此不再赘述。
请参见图4,显示面板中像素排布502中的每一像素单元横向(第二方向,X方向)连接扫描驱动芯片(所图3中702所示),从所述扫描驱动芯片中接收扫描信号,列向(第一方向,Y方向)连接数据驱动芯片(如图3中703所示),从所述数据驱动芯片接收数据信号。在显示时,所述扫描驱动芯片输出扫描信号给每一行像素单元中的每一子像素,以控制每一行像素单元中连接每一子像素的薄膜晶体管(图未示)导通,所述数据驱动芯片输出数据信号给每一子像素,以控制所述每一子像素发光。需要说明的是,像素结构中每一个子像素均连接一条扫描线及一条数据线(图未示)。
所述像素结构中的子像素均横向连接扫描驱动芯片,纵向连接数据驱动芯片,所述像素结构的每一排像素单元中的每一子像素从所述扫描驱动芯片接收扫描信号,以控制每一排像素单元中连接每一子像素的薄膜晶体管导通。
在第一时间段内t1,所述第j、j+1、j+2……j+i排像素单元中的子像素从数据驱动芯片接收数据信号后使发光,在第二时间段内t2,所述第k、k+1、k+2……k+i像素单元中的子像素从数据驱动芯片接收电压信号后发光;或,在第一时间段内t1,所述第k、k+1、k+2……k+i排像素单元中的子像素从数据驱动芯片接收电压信号后发光,在第二时间段内t2,所述第j、j+1、j+2……j+i排像素单元中的子像素从数据驱动芯片接收数据信号后发光。
第一时间段与第二时间段间隔时间非常小,且由于所述像素结构增大了像素开口率,所以显示亮度不变。
需要说明的是,在第1、3、5……n排(第二方向,X方向)像素单元中,第j、j+2、j+4……排像素单元的第三子像素与第j+1、j+3、j+5……排像素单元的第一子像素和第二子像素形成第k、k+1、k+2、k+3……排像素单元;或,在第2、4、6……n+1排(第二方向,X方向)像素单元中,第j、j+2、j+4……排像素单元的第一子像素和第二子像素与第j+1、j+3、j+5……排像素单元的第三子像素形成第k、k+1、k+2、K+3……排像素单元。即本实施例中的2个像素单元可以实现传统的3个像素单元的显示效果。这样,使包含本实施例所述的像素结构的显示面板的显示分辨率大大提高了。例如,可以由720×2340变为1080×2340,提高了显示面板的显示效果。

Claims (10)
1.一种像素结构,其特征在于,包括:
若干像素单元在第一方向和第二方向上以矩阵形式排布,所述每一像素单元的子像素由第一子像素(101)、第二子像素(102)及第三子像素(103)组成;
在所述像素单元中,所述第三子像素(103)在第一方向上排布在一排,所述第一子像素(101)和所述第二子像素(102)在第一方向上排布在另一排,所述第二子像素(102)的发光面积大于所述第三子像素(103)的发光面积,所述第三子像素(103)的发光面积大于所述第一子像素(101)的发光面积,所述第一方向与第二方向相交。
2.根据权利要求1所述的像素结构,其特征在于,所述第一子像素(101)和所述第二子像素(102)沿第一方向的总尺寸大于所述第三子像素(103)沿第一方向的尺寸。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的像素结构,其特征在于,在所述第二方向上,所述第三子像素(103)的投影与所述第一子像素(101)的投影和第二子像素(102)的投影至少部分重叠。
4.根据权利要求1所述的像素结构,其特征在于,所述第一子像素(101)为红色子像素,所述第二子像素(102)为绿色子像素,所述第三子像素(103)为蓝色子像素。
5.根据权利要求1所述的像素结构,其特征在于,所述第一子像素(101)、所述第二子像素(102)及所述第三子像素(103)的发光面积的比例为1:1.84:1.68。
6.根据权利要求1所述的像素结构,其特征在于,所述像素单元为长方形。
7.根据权利要求6所述的像素结构,其特征在于,所述像素单元沿第二方向的总尺寸与沿第一方向的总尺寸比值为3:2。
8.根据权利要求1所述的像素结构,其特征在于,所述多个像素单元排布成像素阵列,
在所述像素阵列中,在第二方向上,第n排的多个像素单元与第n+1排的多个像素单元啮合,并且第n排的第i像素单元的第三子像素(103)与第n+1排的第i像素单元的第一子像素(101)和第二子像素(102)对齐,所述第n排的第i像素单元的第一子像素(101)和第二子像素(102)与第n+1排的第i像素单元的第三子像素(103)对齐,第n排的多个像素单元与第n+2排的多个像素单元的排列方式相同,n、i均为正整数。
9.一种显示面板,其特征在于,所述显示面板包括如权利要求1-8中任一项所述的像素结构。
10.一种控制根据权利要求9所述的显示面板发光的方法,其特征在于,所述方法包括:
输送扫描信号给每一排像素单元中的每一子像素,以控制每一排像素单元中连接每一子像素的薄膜晶体管导通;
在第一时间段内,输送数据信号给第j、j+1...j+i排像素单元中的每一子像素发光;
在第二时间段内,输送数据信号给第k、k+1...k+i排像素单元中的每一子像素发光,j、k、i均为正整数;
所述第j排像素单元和第k排像素单元沿第一方向;
所述第k排像素单元由所述第j排和第j+1排像素单元的在所述第二方向中的相邻子像素组合而成。
