Medical disinfection is a very common phenomenon in modern medicine. For the health of human and livestock (hereinafter, collectively referred to as human), all devices which enter the human body and even contact the skin of the human should be sterilized in advance, so as to avoid bringing dust, viruses, bacteria and the like on the devices into the human body and causing infection. In the case of entering human skin, it is necessary to sterilize human skin with iodine, medical alcohol, or the like in addition to the instrument. For example, medical antiseptic swabs are often used to disinfect a person's injection site when the person is being injected with a medication.
In the prior art, when a medical sterilizing cotton swab is used for sterilizing an injection part of a person, the following problems exist:
1. the existing cotton swabs are arranged in a pot or a bag, no special taking tool is needed, and the existing cotton swabs are taken by hands clinically, so that the contaminated cotton swabs cannot be sterilized.
2. After the cotton swabs or alcohol cotton sheets are opened, the cotton swabs or the alcohol cotton sheets are taken on the outer package by hands to be disinfected, so that the operation is inconvenient, and the cotton swabs or the alcohol cotton sheets are extremely easy to touch the outer package to pollute the outer package.
There is therefore a need for a swab sterilization device that overcomes the above-described deficiencies.

Detailed Description
The structure to which the present invention relates or these terms of technology are further described below.
Referring to fig. 1, the present invention discloses a cotton swab sterilizing device, which comprises a housing 10, a plurality of cotton swabs 20 accommodated in the inner cavity of the housing, and a cover 30 for closing the housing. Wherein the housing has an opening 11 at one end thereof, and the inner wall of the housing 10 is provided with at least one rail 12 (two rails 12 are shown in fig. 1), and the plurality of swabs 20 are sequentially arranged on the rails 12. The housing 10 is provided with a gear switch 40 at a position near the end thereof near the opening 11. The gear switch 40 is used to control the size of the opening 11 (to be described later). The cover 30 is used to close the opening 11 of the housing 10.
The cotton swab 20 includes a cotton swab shaft 21 bent at a substantially right angle and a cotton ball 22 at one end of the cotton swab shaft. The swab shaft 21 comprises an expansion 23 of substantially increased size, which expansion 23 cooperates with the track 12 for guiding the swab shaft 21 sliding on the track 12. One end of the swab 20 with the swab 22 is positioned within the interior cavity of the housing 10 and the other end 24 extends through the housing wall to the outside of the housing 10. The wall of the shell 10 is provided with holes 13 corresponding to the number of the cotton swabs 20, the other ends 24 of the cotton swabs 20 without cotton swabs extend out of the shell 10 through the holes 13, the hole wall size is matched with the size of the cotton swab rod 21, and the cotton swab rod 21 can move in the holes 13.
When the cover 30 does not close the opening 11 of the housing 10, the cotton swab 20 can be moved on the rail 12 from the initial position to the position of the opening 11 of the housing, at least with the cotton ball 22 of the cotton swab 20 protruding out of the housing 10.
Referring to fig. 3, 4 and 5, the gear switch 40 includes at least two blocking pieces 41 opposite to each other, at least one of which is movable and connected to a spring 42, and the other end of the spring 42 is connected to the housing 10. When the other flap 41 is fixed, the flap is fixed to the housing 10 by the sub-rod 43. One end of the blocking piece 41 extends to the outside of the housing 10 to form a button 44. Referring to fig. 2, the gear switch 40 includes at least three gears: first gear "0", second gear "1", and third gear "2". Referring to fig. 3, in the first gear "0", two blocking pieces 41 are attached to each other. Referring to fig. 4, in the second gear "1", the two flaps 41 are substantially parallel to each other and spaced apart a distance greater than the size of the cotton ball 22 and the cotton swab shaft 21 but less than the size of the cotton swab shaft expansion 23. Referring to fig. 5, in the third gear "2", the two blades 41 are substantially parallel to each other and spaced apart by a distance greater than the size of the expansion portion 43 of the swab shaft.
In use, the operator first unscrews the cap 30 and then pushes the button 44 to the second gear "1" opening the opening 11. The other end 24 of the cotton swab 20 exposed outside the housing 10 is then pressed with a finger, so that the cotton swab 20 slides down the guide rail 12 to the opening 11 of the housing 10, exposing the cotton swab outside the housing 10, but part of the cotton swab shaft 21 and the expansion part 23 is left in the cavity of the housing 10. The push button 44 is pushed back to the "holding position" to cause the flap 41 to grip the swab shaft 21 for sterilization. After sterilization is completed, the button is pushed to a third gear "2", i.e. "release gear", which maximizes the opening and then lets the swab 20 drop out of the cavity of the housing 10 and be discarded into a bio-trash for disposal.
In order to increase the number of cotton swabs placed in the invention, two side-by-side guide rails 12 are placed in the inner cavity of the shell 10, and each guide rail 12 is provided with a row of cotton swabs 20. During operation, the cotton swabs are used for sterilization in sequence until the cotton swabs are completely used up. After that, the device can be discarded, or the cotton swab can be reused after disinfection.
In one embodiment, the housing 10 is cylindrical in shape, is spliced from two substantially identical parts, and can be split into two halves along its axis (along line A-A in fig. 2). The cotton swab has the advantages that the track 12 and the cotton swab 20 can be installed first, and then the two shell parts are spliced into a whole, so that the installation operation is more convenient.
In another embodiment, the housing 10 is cylindrical in shape, with a cylindrical body portion 14 and a hemispherical end portion 15 joined by threads 16 at line B-B in FIG. 2. The cotton swab 20 is first placed on the track 12 and then the track is mounted to the housing cavity and the end 15 is threadably engaged to the body portion 14.
